I’m a [Music] headline yo what is going on headliner Nation the fantasy playoffs are officially here week 15 week 16 week 17 hopefully not week 18 if you’re playing week 18 playoffs y all are psychos talk to your commissioner and fix that right away but the hard work that we put in all season long is not over with over the next 3 weeks we really need to lock in find our best lineups and bring home as many fantasy championships as possible and with no more buys to worry about hopefully your teams are at full strength but if you’re dealing with any injuries and you need some guys to step in and help carry the workload you’re in the right place we’re going to go through every single matchup for week 15 and we’re going to discuss which running backs are the Best Bets for your lineups some that are going to have the most risk and if there’s any out there that we probably shouldn’t even be thinking about and the division rival Rams and 49ers will kick us off on Thursday Night Football for week 15 and San Francisco isn’t giving up a ton of yards on the ground this season but they are tied for the second most rushing touchdowns allowed to running backs and we know that there’s something Kiren Williams loves to do and that’s find the end zone and over his last three games he has four touchdowns he had a little bit of a stretch where he went cold but he’s starting to heat back up and the LA Rams are allowing the eighth most rushing yards to opposing running backs but unfortunately there’s not much that we can say about the 49ers running back as of this recording because we don’t know about Isaac gendo it sounds like he’s got a foot Sprint and he may try to work through that this week but if he ends up being out then it sounds like it’s going to be Patrick Taylor but we’re getting so far down into the depth chart that on Thursday Night Football if it’s not gendo I don’t know if I’m working with that I think you could argue that one of the luckiest teams of 2024 so far is the Kansas City Chiefs now they’re still winning football games and sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good but they’re going to use up all that luck before the playoffs get here I’m not really feeling Isaiah Pacho and certainly not Kareem hunt Kareem hunt shouldn’t even be considered for your starting lineup his workload is diminishing even though Isaiah Peko doesn’t look like he’s fully back to 100% yet but even with Isaiah Pacho he’s going to carry a pretty high risk this week considering the fact that he just doesn’t have a ton of upside right now the overall volume in this matchup isn’t that great the Cleveland Browns are allowing the ninth fewest Fantasy Point points per game to opposing running backs now running backs can score against them because they are allowing the third most rushing touchdowns so if you want Isaiah Pacho in your lineup this week you’re really hoping he finds the end zone because maybe 50 60 yards could end up being his cap and that’s just not nearly enough if he’s not scoring Kansas City is currently allowing the fewest rushing yards and fantasy points per game to the opposing running back position and Nick chub is at a point where he’s barely averaging three yard s per carry on the season and Jerome Ford is getting a lot of touches right now as well because Nick chub just isn’t back to 100% health and we knew that coming into this that he wasn’t going to be a guy that was going to be at 100% probably until next year so if you have Nick chub and you’ve just been holding on to him hoping that when the playoffs get here he could help you roll through them I would probably be looking for somebody else Chase Brown is continuing to make a case to be one of the higher drafted running backs in the 2025 fantasy football football drafts over his last five games he has been a top 10 running back every single game and he has at least one touchdown in four of his last five games and the best part about his workload right now is even if he isn’t getting a ton on the ground he’s still making a decent amount of impact through the air Chase brown right now is a guy that we absolutely need to start now he’s got a low risk for me this week it’s not the easiest matchup in the world but Cincinnati has been finding a way to make him fantasy viable every single week Tony Pard only has four games this season where he hasn’t finished his a top 24 running back and he’s ran for over a 100 yards in two of his last three games he’s definitely one of the safer guys that you can have in your lineup right now and right now over on Underdog his projection for this week is only 64 half rushing yards this feels like an absolute cheat to me because we should be going higher than that pretty darn easy since Cincinnati just gave up a ton of rushing yards to Rico do and their run defense this season has been shaky at times Tony Pard absolutely should go over that Mark he’s been playing very well as of recent and I could definitely see Tennessee leaning on him this week I am definitely loving the running backs and the Washington and New Orleans matchup this week Brian Robinson Jr isn’t going to have a whole lot of competition for touches in a really solid matchup and now that he’s had a byee hopefully he’s feeling a little bit more healthy cuz I know trying to make it through the last few weeks have kind of been hit and miss at times now the last time they were on the field Chris Rodriguez did see double digit carries but that was mostly because it was a blowout and Washington started playing some of those guys in the second half when things matter the most Brian Robinson isn’t coming off the field and New Orleans is currently allowing the fifth most fantasy points per game and the second most rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs this matchup is extremely solid for Brian Robinson and for Alvin Kamar Washington’s allowing the fifth most rushing yards to opposing running backs and he’s going to be playing with a backup quarterback this week and an absolutely depleted wide receiver core so Alvin kamaro is probably going to see a ton of touches and I have to assume that New Orleans is going to be running the football quite a bit and his rushing total over on Underdog right now is only 59 half rushing yards I guarantee that number at least goes into the high 60s by the end of the week we all need to be over on Underdog right now putting in our tickets going higher than 59 a half rushing yards for Alvin Kamar because that is an easy easy win for us the New York Giants are allowing the eighth most fantasy points per game and fourth most rushing yards to opposing running backs do you really need me to say anything else about Derrick Henry and in this matchup if you have Derrick Henry there’s probably a really good chance that you’re on a buy this week and you’re not even going to be able to enjoy the plethora of fantasy points that he’s going to put up for you but for some reason you’re not on a buy this week congratulations you’re getting a guy that’s going to be a top five running back Tyrone Tracy on the other hand doesn’t have nearly the advantageous matchup that what Derk Henry does cuz right now the Baltimore Ravens are allowing the second fewest rushing yards to opposing running backs now good news for Tyrone Tracy he saw 10 targets last week which if we can keep up that type of a Target workload for Tyrone Tracy he’s going to be a guy that realistically is a must start for us every single week because he is the lead back and it was good to see him as the lead back he had kind of a little bit of an issue there with fumbling and he got his punishment for it but Devin single ter went back to a very limited workload last week and Tyrone Tracy was the guy touchdowns in back-to-back games but in terms of a ton of yards probably not going to happen so if we can get five six seven targets heck double digit targets would be amazing for him but even if he doesn’t get that let’s get him a few Targets in the passing game and hopefully they can get him into the end zone a lot of up and down performances towards the beginning of the season and it made Rico dle very unreliable at times but now over the course of his last three games he has at least 86 rushing yards in every single game and he’s got backto back games over 100 yards now he gets the Carolina Panthers who allow the most rushing touchdowns rushing yards and fantasy points per game to the running back position and yes they’ve been playing a lot better and a lot more tough but that’s not going to stop me from making Rico da my manscaped must start running back for the week he’s on a hot streak right now and he is playing very well there’s a little bit of a concern for me in this game because it was just announced prior to recording that the Carolina Panther for the first time in two years are actually the favorites in this game which if they play as tough as they have been recently it absolutely could lead to less rushing attempts for Rico do which would not be great but also in the same instance I don’t think Dallas is going to get blown out either so this game could stay neutral game script and if it does with Cooper Rush at quarterback they’re going to lean on Rico da once again over the last three games he’s gotten eight 18 22 and 19 carries in each of those games now two of those ended up being wins but mostly they were neutral game script a majority of the time and if you’re still looking for Christmas ideas and you need to finish up your shopping manscape.com unfortunately for Jonathan Brooks his season is over with he tore the same ACL this past week that he tore last year at Texas and that is absolutely awful for that kid to see and his NFL career is going to have a lot of question marks now but for the rest of this season chuba hubard is going to be one of the most volume heavy running backs in all of football Brooks was getting a few touches here or there as they kind of worked his way back but chuba hubard isn’t going to really need to worry about anybody else taking touches away at this point and this match up against Dallas is going to be solid and if Vegas is correct and Carolina truly is the favorite in this game and they have a lead or neutral game script Dallas is allowing the second most rushing touchdowns and third most fantasy points to the running back position right now chuba hubber should be in for a very solid day Jacksonville’s defense currently allowing the second most fantasy points per game to the running back position but unfortunately we don’t know who the running back is going to be for the New York Jets this week Bree Hall late addition last week to the injury report didn’t end up playing brayan Allen seemed to be the guy and even though he had a decent day Isaiah Davis did as well so right now trying to figure out who’s going to be the guy in this matchup probably isn’t the best for anyone so when we take a look at what could happen if Bree Hall plays and he’s 100% then we’re good to roll out Bree Hall but with the New York Jets officially being eliminated from the playoffs it wouldn’t shock me if they don’t give him another week and allow brillan Allen and Isaiah Davis to be the guys whatever it may end up being there’s going to be a medium risk associated with everybody now if Breeze Hall is out again then that makes brillan Allen and Isaiah Davis some okay Flex options if we need to look for that brillan Allen won’t have nearly the type of upside as I was hoping for last week but we could still see enough of a split workload that he could still get you some decent fantasy points to be a flex option Isaiah Davis realistically would probably need to score and I think game script is going to kind of be dependent on what happens with tank bsby and Travis etn this week if the New York Jets are having issues on offense and the Jags are able to establish a decent lead tank Bigby is going to see 60% of the carries so he’s going to get double digit carries if for some reason the Jets are putting it on Jackson Ville and Jacksonville is behind then tank bsby may not get double digit carries and Travis etn is going to get a decent amount of workload in the passing game now Travis etn to me is a little bit safer because regardless of outcome I still think he’s a guy that could see at least five Targets in the passing game now a negative game script could end up meaning more targets for him so tank BBY to me is a little bit more game script dependent because they would need to be in a positive or neutral game script for him to get those double digigit carries this is going to be a tough one to read for the rest of the season and if you’re relying on either of these guys you’re going to be sweating it out quite a bit Devon Anan he’s been struggling on the ground a little bit as of recent but the good news is is his fantasy value hasn’t suffered a big impact because Tua is still looking his way in the passing game quite a bit and when you have Defenders running down the field with Tyreek Hill Jaylen Wadd and jonu Smith who’s been very good as of recent it opens up a lot of opport unities for aan to pick up a lot of yards after the catch now I don’t understand why he’s not a lot better on the ground at this point especially considering the fact that all of those weapons are keeping guys out of the box but whatever that may be the case there he’s kind of getting stuffed at the line right now and because of that he’s going to bring some risk this week going up against Houston who is currently allowing the six fewest fantasy points per game hm decent floor because five six seven eight targets all of that is definitely within the realm of possibility and scoring a touchdown obviously there as well but the overall volume in the Run game is what could keep a ceiling a lot lower Joe Mixon only has three games this season where he’s finished outside the top 12 running backs once again Joe Mixon is going to be a super solid start for you this week they’re coming out of the buy so he should be feeling good and healthy and they should have a solid game plan going up against Miami Miami is Pretty Tough when it comes to the pass you got to be able to run the ball against them to open up everything else and with the way CJ Stout has been struggling this season Joe Mixon is the key to Houston winning this game against a Miami team that’s starting to get hot this is not a great matchup for Jonathan Taylor to get back on track because right now Denver’s defense one of the better defenses in all of football and a lot of people talk about how good their pass defense has been but their run defense has been just as solid right now they’re allowing the fifth fewest rushing yard to the running back position and Jonathan Taylor has not had an rb1 performance since week eight in fact over his last five games and four of those games he’s failed to reach four yards per carry and with Anthony Richardson in the backfield with him it is a little bit concerning that they’re not able to do a little bit more to get creative in the Run game and open some things up for JT maybe it just has to do with the fact that people are trying to stop the run and they’re going to let Anthony Richards and potentially beat him down the field and to give Richardson credit he has been better over the last few games not a ton of upside from him in the passing game but he is making some throws that he struggled with earlier in the year still a lot of work to be done there but JT’s upside this week is extremely risky floor should be fine because I wouldn’t be shocked if he runs the ball 23 to 25 times this week and that alone could give him a decent enough volume to be fantasy viable but his ceiling is going to be really tough to find especially if he doesn’t find the end zone now Indianapolis allows the second most rushing yards to opposing running backs and this is a great matchup but who’s going to be the guy because back in week 10 everybody thought the audri estimate breakout was coming 53 rush yards on 14 carries but then in week 11 javante Williams led the backfield with 59 yards on nine carries so everybody was like all right we’re back over to javante Williams but then then in week 12 Jalil mlin led the way with 44 yards on seven carries now Jalil mcgoffin actually rolled that over to week 13 as well and led the backfield in back-to-back weeks now coming out of the buy who is it going to be since it’s been Jalil mlin the last two games I’m going to roll with him to be the medium risk play here but I’ll tell you what he’s way closer to being a high risk and I don’t know if I want to trust anyone in this backfield if if Jal mlin has a solid day again then I think for the rest of the fantasy playoffs he’s a guy that we take a look at but this week if you’re trying to win the first round I would be looking for other options the game of the week in week 15 has to be the Buffalo Bills at the Detroit Lions there is so much on the line for both of these teams Buffalo suffering another loss last week to the LA Rams is not great for their shot at the number one overall seed and for the Detroit line they have to keep Pace because Minnesota keeps finding ways to win one way or another and are right behind him for the lead in the division and I’ll tell you Detroit wants HomeField Advantage a win over Buffalo this week would be absolutely huge I expect both of these teams to show up ready to play the Detroit run defense is allowing the second fewest fantasy points per game and third fewest rushing yards to opposing running backs but a lot of this matchup is going to depend on how healthy they are now from what I’ve seen from the Monday practice report it does appear that the majority of the guys that have been banged up are going to be ready to play this week DJ reer and Levi eniki are two guys that in the middle of that defense along with alen mcneel are going to be very very important to stopping the run this week now last week for James Cook he snapped a streak of three straight top 12 performances and that matchup was golden he he absolutely should have been a top 12 running back once again but La came to play and the game script just didn’t allow Buffalo to run the football as much as they probably would have liked this matchup is going to be way tougher now over the course of his last seven games James Cook has had three performances at running back 29 or lower this matchup if Detroit is at full strength unfortunately could bring one of those weeks but he also could end up being just fine now Buffalo is allowing the fourth most fantasy points per game to the running back position but overall this year they’ve been pretty tough against the run it’s running backs in the passing game that have caused them an issue because their defense has allowed the second most receptions second most receiving touchdowns and third most receiving yards to opposing running backs David Montgomery low risk because we know if Detroit gets in the Red Zone especially either at the beginning or end of the game David Montgomery is going to have a shot to score a touchdown but jir Gibbs and his work in the passing game this week could absolutely be the key to Detroit beating Buffalo if Buffalo at Detroit is the biggest game of the week Pittsburgh at Philadelphia is a very very close second Philadelphia is allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to the running back position right now and Naji Harris has been up and down this past week he did score a touchdown but unfortunately the yards really haven’t been there Philadelphia is currently allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to the running back position and I know a couple of weeks ago Naji Harris finished as the rb3 and had a huge week for you but when you take a look at the bigger picture over the course of the last seven weeks six times he has failed to make it inside the top 15 running backs so while that was a really great performance from him in this tough matchup I think expecting him to finish inside the top 15 once again is probably unrealistic he’ll the majority of the workload but you’re going to need a couple of big runs and you absolutely need a touchdown in Pittsburgh’s defense just as solid they’re allowing the six Fest rushing yards to opposing running backs on the season right now and we know saquon Barkley is chasing that record for most rushing yards in a season and while I do think that he’s going to get there I do believe that he has a great floor this week but a low ceiling he could run for a 100 yards this week based on the volume alone but if he does doesn’t score a touchdown you’re probably looking at a guy that’s right around rb12 to rb10 instead of being a top five asset now if he scores a touchdown then that’s a complete Game Cher but Pittsburgh’s defense is going to be tough if you made the playoffs with your fantasy team that had rre Stevenson and or James Connor on it kudos to you because unfortunately their performances have been up and down all season long so if you’re in the playoffs right now and you have those guys on your team this would be the best possible scenario for them to start popping off Arizona is allowing the 10th most fantasy points per game to the running back position and even though R Andre Stevenson hasn’t had a ton of upside as of recent he does have at least 18 carries in four of his last six games if New England can keep this game close neutral game script could lead to another 18 carries which would at least give you Flex type numbers for ra Andre now if there was a matchup for James Conor to finally start finding his SE again it would be this week against the New England Patriots they’re currently allowing the sixth most rushing yards and Ninth most fantasy points per game to the running back position and James Connor has had a little bit more of a ceiling as of recent over the last four weeks he has been a top 12 running back twice but unfortunately in those other two weeks he’s finished rb3 or lower so the solid matchup here definitely gives him some top 12 floor it’s the ceiling that will continue to be a concern for him week 14 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a prime example of why things have been really tough this season when it comes to any type of injury analysis because it feels like now more than ever NFL teams are hiding as much information as they possibly can and a lot of times some of the practice reports that come out are either just misleading or entirely false we knew that Bucky Irving had been banged up the week prior but even after the game the next day Bucky Irving was like I feel a ton better and throughout the week it seemed like he was progressing towards playing and finally it was said yep he’s good to go he’s going to be out there only to have Bucky Irving come out of the game in the first quarter and never return if Bucky Irving was really that banged up maybe he shouldn’t have been playing and maybe he should have been listed as such but Tampa Bay didn’t want to do that and of course we had absolutely no idea what was going on and Rashad white ended up carrying the workload instead there’s going to be a lot that we’re going to watch over the next week with these two guys but this matchup is not good the Chargers allow the fifth Fest fantasy points to the running back position and they’ve allowed the fewest rushing touchdowns on the season to running back this matchup for me regardless of who is playing is not going to be a fun one that I want to rely on for either Bucky Irving or Rashad white but Tampa Bay they’re allowing the 10th Fest rushing yards to opposing running backs so trying to roll with Gus Edwards or kamani videll is not going to be much fun either now the biggest issue is that neither of these guys are included in the passing game and they’re seeing about 20 carries collectively that are being split so if one of them isn’t scoring a touchdown they’re not getting any points in the passing game and you’re expecting a couple of inefficient Runners against a tough defense to do damage on minimal carries Sunday Night Football to me is a must-win for Green Bay they need to either keep Pace with Detroit after losing to them again last week or they need to pick up a game on them if they can’t beat the Buffalo Bills and Josh Jacobs is going to be a huge part of that Seattle currently allows the seventh most rushing yards per game to the running back position and over the last four weeks Josh Jacobs has been a top six running back every single game expect a whole lot of Jacobs this week and his current projection of 7 4 and a half rushing yards over on Underdog feels really good to me I’m going to be going higher than that Green Bay is going to need to lean on the run and let Josh Jacobs do work once again and if they can do that then they should end up having a solid day and hopefully Jordan love can take advantage in the passing game Zack shanet came up huge for Fantasy owners this past week this is a guy that finishes the number one overall running back and if you’ve been holding him all season but you didn’t have Kenneth Walker you probably flexed him last last week if you had Kenneth Walker then he was an easy replacement for you and you didn’t even end up missing a beat but realistically I can’t give you a whole lot of information on this until we find out about Kenneth Walker later in the week now the good news is this is Sunday Night Football so we should know something by the end of the week if you have shanet and you have Walker you’re absolutely fine but if you’re going to be relying on either of these two guys we’re probably not going to be able to give you a better idea until we know more later on I mean you probably didn’t think it was possible but Chicago’s actually becoming more of a dumpster fire at this point and the Run game this week against Minnesota is not something that I’m looking forward to trying to play if you have DeAndre Swift and you’re trying to make that work in your fantasy lineups I would go ahead and say look somewhere else Minnesota is currently allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points per game and third fewest rushing yards in the NFL Minnesota is currently allowing the fourth fewest rushing yards and third fewest fantasy points per game in the NFL and over his last 6 weeks DeAndre Swift has only been an rb1 one time on top of that the efficiency is a big issue once again because he’s averaging 3.7 yards per carry or lower in all of those games so yeah DeAndre Swift is not the answer this week however Aaron Jones absolutely could because he just ran for3 yards on 20 carries just a couple of weeks ago against Chicago and they’re allowing the Third most rushing yards they’re tied for the third most rushing touchdowns allowed and they’ve allowed the seventh most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs so while 692 rushing yards is a little on the higher side for me when it comes to Aaron Jones and his current projections over on Underdog I’m still willing to go higher than that because Aaron Jones definitely could have himself another solid day what are the possibilities that Atlanta and Las Vegas turns out to be one of the worst Monday night Night Football games of the entire season it’s honestly a little bit shocking that they even scheduled this game for Monday night bej Robinson had a tough matchup last week against Minnesota finishes the RBA over his last eight games he’s finished as an rb1 seven times and Tyler alir found a way to sneak in there and steal a little bit from bejan Robinson last week but that doesn’t mean that we’re starting Tyler alir it just means he’s one of the most important running back handcuffs in all of fantasy football right now if he’s on waivers in your league and you own bejan Robinson you 1,000% need to have Tyler alir as well and this week’s matchup going up against Las Vegas Bean Robinson should have another solid day I can’t really say the same thing about the Las Vegas running backs I mean the spiceman sincere McCormack not a bad guy that we’ve grabbed over the last couple of weeks to give us a decent floor but there’s nobody on a buy right now so if you’re trying to start sincere McCormick with nobody on a buy that means you’re dealing with some pretty nasty injuries and your team is
