[Music] yo what is going on headliner Nation let’s talk about some quarterbacks today and when we’re in the fantasy playoffs for your quarterback position if you don’t have one of those top tier guys it’s really easy play the guys that give you the best floor because the quarterback position more than any other position definitely has the ability to go south really really quick fumbles interceptions ineffective play a lot of those things could take a really high-end quarterback that you’re excited about and turn him into a guy that could absolutely destroy your week really really quickly so this week I’m going to make a blanket statement because I’m going to say my Mando must aoid quarterback is going to be anybody that you’re trying to stream this week that you haven’t utilized this season that has a safe floor there’s some guys on the waiver wire right now that you absolutely could pick up that might give you some decent upside there’s going to be some of you that may be in a position where you absolutely have to if you’re in a superflex or a two quarterback League I get it but don’t get cute if you have guys that have helped you get to this point of the Season then make sure that you’re sticking with those guys even if the ceiling doesn’t seem as high as some of the other quarterbacks that you might want to try stick with the safe floor let the rest of your team get the UPS side and just let your quarterback be that stability that your roster may need and if you’re watching this video right now more than likely you’re playing for a chance to go to your Championship or maybe this is the first week of your Championship things are getting tight for Fantasy Football the holidays are here family gatherings all of those things that’s enough to make me some of the safest bets that we can utilize this week to help us move on and bow Knicks on Thursday Night Football is going to be one of those guys that you’re going to want to put in your lineup but with five interceptions over the last two games and now going up against a Chargers defense that has been very stable for a majority of the season I don’t know if Bon knck is the route that we want to go this week if he doesn’t throw an interception he should be good but like I said interceptions can pile up quickly and those are negative points that are going to start taking away from your team so let’s try to stick with guys that are a little bit safe B knck could be a top 10 quarterback this week he could also be closer to top 24 and really hurt your chances Justin Herbert’s a guy that you’re starting for his floor and not his ceiling he he was becoming a quarterback one there over the last several weeks but he’s banged up right now and you can kind of tell moving in the pocket and really utilizing his full abilities just isn’t there right now and Denver’s defense is very very good when you’re talking about a ceiling it’s not very high maybe 200 yards a touchdown this week and you hope he doesn’t throw a pick or two so bonick and Justin Herbert are both guys that I get it why you may want to start them but there could be safer options out there you may not have the ability to start anybody else over CJ Stroud right now and stoud has a pretty decent floor but it’s been this ceiling that’s been missing all season long in fact when you take a look at the numbers he’s only been a top 12 quarterback one time since week four and he’s only thrown for 250 more passing yards one time since week eight now for Kansas City this week Patrick Mahomes on Wednesday before this video was recorded was listed as a full participant but there’s nothing that has been said that he is absolutely going to play yet this week if I had to guess more than likely if he’s a full participant right now he’s going to give it a go this week but he is coming back on short rest for Saturday and because of the matchup going up against Houston they may say yeah we’re going to need to get him out there and he might not be 100% Patrick Mahomes and Carson Wentz should both be listed as a highrisk candidate this week if you’re trying to start Patrick Mahomes you could get a really solid game or unfortunately you could lose your quarterback at halftime the last time Pittsburgh played Baltimore I was all over Russell Wilson the secondary for Baltimore was giving up a ton of points to the quarterback position and wide receivers I went all in he threw for 205 yards no touchdowns and an interception so yes he’s going to be a medium risk this time through instead of being a lowrisk play if you’re going to be rolling with him in this offense this week you’re going to be looking at a guy that does absolutely have a high ceiling but he’s going to have a very low floor as well Russell Wilson is one of those quarterbacks with a very wide range of outcomes this week and that does bring a lot of risk Lamar Jackson had more touchdown passes than incompletions last week he’s a front runner for MVP candidate right along Josh Allen he doesn’t sit in your lineup I don’t care who they’re playing I don’t care what the numbers have been if you own Lamar Jackson the only guy you’re starting over him is Josh Allen no word yet on who’s going to start quarterback for the New York Giants but these guys are the ones that I talked about at the beginning of the video this is a great match up for the quarterback position but we are not trusting our fantasy playoffs with whoever the quarterback is for the New York Giants now Michael penck makes a very interesting case to be a streaming option this week and I think there’s some people who are going to be forced into doing that if you’re in a two quarterback or a superflex league I am absolutely okay with playing Michael pennick Jr if you are in a one quarterback league and you don’t have anybody else that you have been able to trust then you can go with Michael penx but honestly I’m not rolling with him in the fantasy semifinals with his first career NFL start I get why you would want to And for those of you that had Kurt Cousins maybe Michael pennix is the only option you have but if you’re picking up Michael pennix hoping to catch lightning in a bottle and get some crazy upside I would take a look at your safer options first for this match up I’m listing Jared gof and yes Caleb Williams both is lowrisk quarterbacks this week as of right now Wednesday morning the current weather report for Chicago on Sunday supposed to be nice it’s not supposed to be crazy weather really not all that cold either and because of that absolutely this is going to be one of those games where the elements may not have that much of an impact which people tend to bring up when it comes to Jared gof and the Detroit Lions but Jared G is on fire right now his Tedy to interception ratio over the last few games is absolutely incredible and he is having an MVP like season I know a lot of you don’t want to admit that and I’m not saying he’s going to win over Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson but he’s absolutely going to get some votes and he deserves that when you take a look at what Caleb Williams could do this is a secondary that’s missing its best cornerback they’re missing several linebackers and several defensive linemen this defense right now is toast and Caleb Williams who who had a great second half against them just a couple of weeks back could end up having a solid game for the entire day Caleb Williams is definitely a guy that I would play over many of the streaming options available out there the matchup for Dorian Thompson Robinson is absolutely fantastic if it was jamus Winston we would have took advantage of it but it’s not and DTR is not starting in my lineup for the fantasy playoffs Joe burrow has been a top 12 quarterback in six straight games four of those games he’s been a top three quarterback deploy him with absolute confidence he’s going to have another solid day can you find a matchup this week with more risky play at the quarterback position than Tennessee and Indianapolis Mason Rudolph is going to be the starter for Tennessee it’s already been announced that will Levis is going to sit Mason Rudolph has had a couple of decent games this season but I’m not throwing him out there Indianapolis just played very well against Bon Knicks on the road I’m not going with him this week and for Anthony Richardson he’s going to carry medium r I don’t think there’s a game this season where we’re going to find an opportunity to say Anthony Richardson is a lowrisk play the turnovers are going to be an issue unfortunately and he’s missing way too many easy completions right now so his overall volume of numbers don’t look that great but what I do know is he could be good for a couple of touchdowns Matthew Stafford this week just doesn’t have the type of ceiling that excites me enough to try and deal with the risk that he could bring as well more than likely I’m skipping on Matthew Stafford this week there are definitely worse options than him but I feel like we have a lot better options as well I will say I would consider a guy like Michael pennit Jr over Matthew Stafford this week I do like Aaron roders though this week his ceiling isn’t nearly as high as I would like even after back-to-back top 12 performances and really that has to do with the pass rush for the Los Angeles Rams if the Jets can get the ball out quickly and they don’t make Rogers hold it too much he’ll end up being just fine but if we see early on in the game that he’s holding on to the ball way too long his lowrisk rating is going to go out the door really fast Jaylen Herz and Jaden Daniel should be a fun matchup to watch Once Again Jaylen Herz does have a broken finger on the left hand right now didn’t seem to affect him last week he should be just fine he’s one of those top 12 guys that I’m absolutely confident in putting in my lineup this week Jaden Daniels was not great the last time he played Philadelphia threw for just over 190 yards and one touchdown now that was a few weeks back and maybe he’s got a little bit more upside this week especially since the game will be at home this time but I can tell you this Eagles defense could limit the ceiling really really quick and we’ll have to look to his rushing ability to help prop that back up going from a game with a quarterback matchup that could be awesome to watch to a game with a quarterback matchup that could be an absolute disaster Kyler Murray has not been playing great and he’s one of those guys that we’ve definitely had a LoveHate relationship with this season both here on the channel and as fantasy owner ERS he definitely showcases some of that high upside and then disappears the next time unfortunately the back half of the Season here has not been kind to him I personally am looking at other quarterback options over Kyler Murray I’m not going to grab a bunch of guys off the waiver wire to start over him but if you’re somebody that’s been carrying a couple of different quarterbacks this season I would take a look at what you have on the bench and really try to decide if you think the floor is better than Kyler Murray but still has the same type of upside last week against Dallas unfortunately Ely Bryce young just didn’t have the same Mojo that he had been working with in the weeks prior he threw a couple of interceptions and lost some of that ceiling that we had seen from him even in a negative game script this week against Arizona he’s not going to be a start for me in the playoffs Sam darnold is one of those options right now that when you put him in your lineup you know you’re going to get a solid floor you’re going to get a guy that’s going to be right around probably qb10 through qb1 14 that’s where he’s going to live but he’s got that type of upside that could also take him into the top 10 to top five range as well that’s something that I love to have at the quarterback position somebody that’s going to be really stable for me but I know he going to have that upside every single week and isn’t going to be super risky to try and get there and for Seattle we are still unclear as of this recording whether it’s going to be Geno Smith or Sam Howell starting at quarterback keep an eye on that throughout the rest of the week and we’ll discuss it more but I can tell you right now Sam Howell definitely would not be a start for me and Gino Smith is another guy that I’m just going to go ahead and pass on this week do due to the risk involved the Buffalo defense gave up a lot of passing yards to Jared G last week but that is a much different quarterback and a much different offensive system Drake May for me is going to have risk this week but he helps fix some of that because he has been running the ball so well as of late and he probably could pick up a few yards on the ground and a potential touchdown to go with it he’s not a top 12 quarterback for me but he’s one of those guys just outside the top 12 that could still be a good option and what do you want me to say about Josh Allen it’s the same thing is Lamar Jackson if you own either of those guys they are starting for you Josh Allen’s the number one quarterback in football right now let me make this segment crystal clear I don’t care what the matchup says I don’t care who they’re playing against I am not starting either quarterback from either of these teams both of these quarterbacks have an opportunity to bounce back this week Brock pie he was kind of held down by the elements last week that rain did not do him any favors Tua decided to throw three interceptions this week a bounceback performance at absolutely could happen where Tua has a little bit more upside and Brock p is a little bit safer both of them are probably going to be right on the tail end of being top 12 eligible get ready for some offensive points in this matchup hopefully Dallas can keep up with Tampa Bay because if they can then we’re going to see a lot of passing a lot of yards and a lot of scoring Baker Mayfield top 12 week against one of the tougher defenses in all of football the LA Chargers last week now he’s getting a Dallas defense that definitely is way better to throw against for Cooper Rush not a ton of upside we have seen some decent games for him this season but we could see another really safe game this week and with that he definitely is one of my top streaming options if he isn’t already owned and isn’t already being played on Monday Night Football Jordan love is the only quarterback that we need to discuss back to being a top 12 quarterback last week the first time since week 11 was good to see the ceiling is going to be kind of a question mark this week because I do think Green Bay wins this game and wins it pretty easily and if that happens we’re going to see Josh Jacobs running the ball an awful lot so while Jordan love could have a solid first half the second half may not be as good and because of that he may lose some of the ceiling that we would like he’s going to be right around qb12 the closer New Orleans can keep it the more upside
