Alie start off and was that just about ke moments of [Music] concentration yeah look it’s um yeah obviously it’s it’s a painful one because uh started the game really well obviously not just the goals we scored the way we were playing um you know really in control of the game and you know we had some some really good opportunities ping two goals then you lose Christian after you know the second goal which it’s just the way our season’s gone nothing sort of run smoothly and uh yeah they obviously capitalized On You by the time we saw a cell back down they they score but still felt in the first half we had the better moments um to get a third goal a couple of key ones um yeah second half they came out and and obviously put us under a bit of pressure but I felt we were handling it not too badly and when they score we then have you know big moment to all to to go 32 up and um yeah these kind of games um those kind of you know moments are important wouldn’t um we don’t take it and then yeah both penalties were poor on our behalf it’s kind of self-inflicted and unnecessary challenges and you’re kind of giv them two goals away for for no reason and give yourself a mountain decline which um proved too hard ask about those three potential injuries Romero vson yeah Romero is just obviously hugely disappointing he felt something in his quad um yeah he trained really well he wasn’t the one I was worried about to be honest um but you know it’s just like I said the way the season’s going for us unfortunately so we’ll just have to wait and see uh Brennan just didn’t feel well um yeah he didn’t feel well at half time but he wanted to give it a go but he just wasn’t feeling 100% so we had to sort of take him off and then uh the plan was always for Mickey to play 6070 today um I said I thought you Romero would be okay to play 90 but Mickey probably 6070 so we’re always going to take him off um yeah he didn’t feel anything significant he just felt tightness but um we is going to take him off anyway did you gamble at all theit the two obviously weren no like I said Romero it’s not like he reinjured the same thing it’s totally different injury um but also people I’m sure aware of our situation it’s not like I got a multitude of options there so you know you got to make these decisions and uh both players trained and trained well and um yeah and look they both want to help you know so you kind of you make these decisions with all the best information like I said if it’s not like Romero ranged is to it’s a totally different injury um which could happen at any time some people say like maybe this defeat is coming the oh look I you know every sort of challenge you have is um you know is one you need to sort of overcome so you know whether it’s ultimately um you know the pain of of the defeat today um for me anyway doesn’t diminish that we also played very well against the top team um and at times look the better side so I always kind of look for that in terms of our growth and uh I said it was disappointing that you know we worked awfully hard but to give away to goals then kind of you know when you give away two penalties unnecessarily you know you’re against a quality side anyway um you know make things very difficult for yourself and makees oh look I think it’s kind of where we’re at with uh current state of football where people are just Frozen to make big decisions I think referees done want to make them because they’ll get a v v doesn’t want to intervene because they think it’s so you’re kind of left in no man’s land um there’s a couple decisions I thought today that were you know definitely went against us I thought law would put his flag up for bizly for Dei when he was through I don’t know what for um so yeah so but the things that are out of our control you know we can’t do anything about that and yeah hopefully the P that be uh sort of work that out is it for you to have all those kind of uncontrol just yeah it’s just the space we’re in at the moment um like I said you know we um we just don’t seem to get uh you know that sort of ability to to just gain some traction every time we seem to something disrupt comes along and disrupts us you know we you people keep refering the city game but we lost Vic straight afterwards for for 3 months so it seems like we’re just not able to do that but like I said they are uncontrollables my role is to try and maintain the course of the things we can control and uh you know keep sort of making sure we’re we’re we’re focused on uh you know continuing to to grow as a team and and you I always feel with these things at at some point um they even themselves out and and you you know if you do the right things um you know they’ll come back to you and when you said a couple of decisions didn’t go your way was one of them cedo and some were you surprised that’s not yeah that’s what I was talking about yeah so yeah but like I said that’s that’s kind of where we’re at I just I I just don’t think you know I’ve said it before that technology has helped our game I just I just don’t see how it helps because it means instead of one person being in control of a game and you can’t of accepting that you kind of almost feels like no one’s in control because everyone’s scared to make a decision to overturn somebody else you know we’re fre scared to make decision because in case they get it wrong V don’t want to intervene which is I get that because it don’t want disruptions to the game so you just got to cop it when you talk about you know of momentum really just finding that consistency I guess because you it’s difficult to I know you’ve got injuries but it’s to play certain parts of today’s game against you know performances yeah but that’s what I mean every time we have sort of seemed like we’re you know we’re on solid footing something has come along and you know sort of become an impediment for us to do that so um it’s just the way our season’s gone so far to say went there like that last year so it’s not like um since I’ve been in this unusual territory but um ultimately as a said my my role in that is to focus on the things I can’t control and and keep preparing the team the best we can to to keep progressing as a football team and um and turn our season around confidence and belief the players I look when I look at today’s performance I don’t see them lacking confidence or belief I think it’s probably the other way where you I think say the both penalties we can see that were born out of desperation I think they’re desperate to to kind of turn our season around and really disappointed with the way it’s gone and when when you’re in that mode you kind of lose that sort of composure and discipline you need so I don’t think we wouldn’t it’s not like we’re hanging on in games like we wouldn’t play like we did today um if there was lack of belief or confidence I just think when you get into this kind of situation we’re in um there’s always there’s also this sense of desperation from the players and thought that cost us today I also felt even at 2 there was a bit ofion in the winning I just um look look fair play of them I thought the crowd were good today I thought you know they they got behind the team um but you know I guess when The Season’s gone as it has for us and then you like I said you know at 2-0 to lose your Center back you know it’s just it does disrupt you it’s not not like you know you’re kind of started the game so well you have to make a substitution which means you know you’re you’re hampered in making substitutions in the second half and all these things come along that you just go well you know here we go another another challenge for us nothing’s really running smoothly so I think the crowd probably censors that as well and I it almost becomes a bit of a self-fulfilling thing where you know you’re almost expecting things to go wrong they FAL one pleas say you touched before that this is Uncharted Territory for you as a manager can you sort of I don’t know turn the focus inward how do you sort of a stop everyone feeling sorry for themselves because everything’s going against youy yeah yeah look I don’t sense anyone’s feeling sorry for themselves but yeah look it’s look it’s it’s a tough moment because you know you you’re kind of there are all these tools you could possibly use as as a manager when when you’re going through tough moments to to sort of turn things around and um you know our limited sort of resources from a playing perspective at the moment doesn’t allow us to do that so you got to find other ways cuz I mean it’s not through a lack of effort I mean the players who are constantly out there because we can’t rotate are given everything they can but also it kind of diminishes performance as well because they probably need a rest but we can’t give them a rest so but you know I think it’s just something we need to kind of tackle head on and and keep pushing on um still plenty sort of to play for for us in terms of you know between now and January just to make sure that you know we keep performing I think I think I still sense within this squad there’s a real kind of conviction in in what we’re doing and if we maintain that then um yeah we’ll we’ll we’ll turn our season around and like I said hopefully at some point we we hit some smoother Waters just in terms of some of the things that are happening at the moment and um yeah some of it’s self-inflicted but you know hopefully we can uh get some more consistency thank you thanks Okay who wants to get us underway Bobby is that feel like your biggest one yet as Chelsea manager uh I I don’t know to be honest uh I’m not thinking about uh about this is for sure it’s important win uh first of all for the way that arrive because to come in this Stadium against this team and to concede two goals and then continue with the same plan on the ball off the ball uh show how the players they are in this moment mentally strong that is important uh and personally I don’t I don’t I don’t consider this game the biggest win I said many times already that uh this team is going to win games against big team is going to lose game against big team because it’s football the only thing I really focus and Care is how we can improve what you think wentong in minut yeah Mark K said me at the end of the game that he was trying to give a little bit emotion to the game probably was too much to goals h uh but is is the probably is the perfect win for this motivation because to go down was the the worst picture for us even if we were in control we were playing we consider two goals from cucko and probably we considered one more chances because we we were wrong in the buildup then we create chances we control the game we keep the ball then half time half time we uh change some something tactically and second half I think we we we we deserve to win the game T talking about when you see a team showing the strong mentality how happy are you as a very happy uh since we start we are trying to work the way we want to play on the ball and off the ball but also we are trying to work in terms of uh mentally together uh to come in this stadium and think that you are going to win or compete without suffer or without some bad moment it’s impossible it’s impossible so we were ready for that as I said probably it’s too much after 15 minutes to give away go like tonight but uh is is the perfect win probably because because of this Matt Cole Palmer said last year that he doesn’t practice penalties I wondered if does practice penalties now and what you thought the H probably since we start I didn’t see Co shooting penalty and in terms of the second penalty is uh it’s co it’s cool and you have to expect anything the good thing about him again once again tonight bisa was marking him man to man so he has to learn how to play against team that now they go men to man with him uh but overall he was he was fantastic the way he work off the ball the pressing from all the players in front the two Wingers Nico Cole very good scored 12 12en which is a record for consen given he doesn’t practice that seems remarkable yeah absolutely why do you think he’s so yeah because Co belong to that kind of a players that they are non normal players they are top players and top players they do things that the normal players or us we say how how we can do that is because it’s co is because it’s top and we can expect this from Cole Lim were there any concussion concerns with Romeo no unfortunately was uh he felt something in his armst string the last minutes of the first half uh now he was working without any pain but because it was a small things uh since we start I don’t like to lose player for five six seven games in a row e then 45 minutes even if Romeo was playing fantastic first half but uh we we tried to change because he was he had a problem no uh can happen can happen unfortunately happen the same player twice but uh I think happen many times in football that a player sleep uh as I said unfortunately happened to him twice uh but uh yeah no more than that n i was watching the celebrations at the end and you were getting involved with the fans and all the players were as well is that sort of the biggest celebration you’ve been involved in and how do you manage the players going forward after a big celebration a big no but we work every day for this kind of moment to celebrate with the fans and to be close to them for sure because tonight was Derby because the way we are in this moment we are all happy and I think to share that minut that moment is fantastic uh I I I I said many times that we need our fans home and away and I will tell now in this moment that against brenford we need them to continue in this moment for us won’t be an easy game against brenford and we need them to help us and pushing us John so just on current form is is he the most exciting and the best player in the Premier League right now on current form for us for sure but then I think premier league is full of uh top players top talent uh but uh Co belong to that that players with so young kind of so uh just instinc yes I said I said I had call for one year four years ago at city under 23 so I know call from four five years ago the best thing from him is that four five years ago when was with me under 23 he was in one way and now after two years 20 goals 50 goal 25 goal assist that everyone consider him one of the is exactly the same guy low football humble no strange things and this is the best thing for for Cole and for young players because you know that today young players if they play one game good to they already think that they are and they lose the balance Co the best thing yes that is always the same don’t change and and we we are very happy with the call we’ll go pizza then finish with James RM and consisten would you say today probably best performance I said since we start that the reason why jayon was K here is because we think that J jayon is going to help us unfortunately he had some small problem so he was out for a while now he’s back the only thing he has to do is to continue in the same way he cannot drop otherwise he’s not going to play and tonight about his performance and Pedro Netto is on the ball both they were very good but off the ball they were running follow poro follow wogi they were defensively very good and this is what we it James mention the no there was no problem to be honest I think the plan first half was working well we were attacking controlling the game we consider two goals unfortunately I was very happy the only thing that uh watching the way they were pressing first off we had Cole Palmer in one side and Eno Fernandez in the other side
