and Hello everybody welcome back to the channel guys I hope you’re all well before we do get into today’s live stream as always please do smash that like button and subscribe to the channel for daily Rangers content well Rangers have agreed a deal and have made a appointment as of course they have appointed a new chairman after a long and kind of yeah it was a long dra out process a bit of a process that’s taken a little bit of time caused a bit of frustration with in the Rangers camp but of course uh Rangers have announced a new chairman that of course being thraa Fon guys if you’re watching this live or on a replay do let us know your thoughts in the comments or in the live chat or wherever way you want uh let’s get into who this guy is and let’s go through the announcement in general so thraa foron here you go is our new chairman ladies and gentlemen Rangers football club said on their website we are delighted to announce the appointment of frasa foron as chair he will join the club on the 16th of December um of 2024 thaser has held many senior leadership and board positions throughout his career in both private and public companies having worked in the international drinks industry for the last 30 years he offers a vast range of experience in stakeholder engagement spanning political commercial and public interest groups he has extensive management experience across sales branding marketing strategy development and finance raised in Glasgow Fraser graduated from the University of Sterling before qualifying as a chartered accountant with price waterhousing Glasgow in 1993 between 96 and 2021 Fraser held multiple executive leadership positions um in international business working across several regions of the world he was a council member of the Scotch whiskey associations for 15 years um 15 years until 2021 since 2021 Fraser is held at several non-executive positions and he is currently in the interim chair of Scottish golf Rangers interim chairman John Gilligan commented on behalf of the board I’m delighted to welcome Fraser as our chairman as a lifelong supporter and seasoned ticket holder he had a deep knowledge of the club which together with a highly successful executive track record and an impressive range of non-executive experience makes him an excellent fit for this role we look forward to welcome him and our CEO Patrick Stewart in the new rules in their new roles Monday my time as interim chairman of our club has been a wonderful and emotional experience my sincere Thanks goes to the board for their trust in me and for them supporting so the rabbit is out of the Hat guys we have got a new chairman now am I going to sit here and pretend I know too much about this guy no um I just found out about him today again a lot of people may be in Scotland may may know of him or may know of what he’s done before if you’re a golf fan you may know what he’s all about uh but but he has taken up the role it’s been a long time now since we’ve been looking for this chairman um and to be fair I’m just glad to get this position in place let’s just hope he doesn’t leave after 5 minutes as he comes through the door like pre his predecessors and other people that have taken the role and hopefully he’s a guy that’s going to be able to take us forward and has some ideas and has is able to take or able to make Rangers great again as the TF said there the other the other night so that’s the breaking news ladies and gentlemen Rangers have appointed a chairman after what it’s felt like is a very very long search and Hunt but guys still let me know your thoughts in the comment section below uh for those of you that missed yesterday’s live stream guys I’ll just point cover it now but a Rangers uh of course did um agree a deal essentially it’s not been officially confirmed by the football club just yet but footy headlines who is a very reputable Source within the space have confirm that Rangers of course um ditching Castor for Umbro and are going down into a new route and this is going to be the new way uh for us a new kit sponsorship a new kit manufacturer and for those of you that missed yesterday’s live stream um I’m happy to be getting rid of castor I think kits have got better recently I think kits are looking a lot nicer than they were previously but I still have my gripes about them and I do think a football club like Glasgow Rangers should be having the best of Kit manufacturers now you can say what you want about Umbro uh they have been making some Stellar kits are a big company I suppose I mean look at Hearts kits over recent years recent Seasons they’ve been absolutely fantastic West Ham United are another sort of big side that are sponsored by them as well so here’s hoping um it’s a good partnership they’ve obviously out bided Castor if Castor were actually in the race there’s a lot of big clubs that ditch Castor um which could be a sign of something um but of course in my in my person personal opinion Rangers must always go to the highest bidder in terms of our kit manufacturers because Money Matters Castor were a record-breaking deal at the time so we’re probably insinuating that umro are playing or paying a mass amount and they are making a bit of a return into the market they were very early 10 late ughs or through the ’90s u0s 80s they were a very very big kit manufacturer but did sort of go missing in recent years in sort of the 10 and ear 20s but have made a return as I said with the likes of hearts and West Ham sort of dawning them as well so um yeah that’s uh that’s that Rangers are playing on the pitch we’re getting new jerseys we’ve got a new chairman um and here’s hoping we can get another trophy to our collection on Sunday a big big day I’m looking forward to the game of course Very Much excited I’m excited by our recent form again I don’t want to get carried away we’ve got a massive Challenge and Philipe cl’s not proved that he can beat Celtic before he’s never shown that he can beat Celtic in games that matter so we’ll have to wait and see here’s hoping Rangers do get the job done but if we’re looking at form and the way we’re coming into this we’ve probably not been better so far this season we’ve been absolutely Dreadful at times this season but since um the last four or five games we’ve really kick started we started to win games with not necessarily ease but we started to win games by playing well and scoring a lot more goals you know at the start of the campaign aign we just weren’t scoring goals we were just an absolute chore to watch um and again all of the games despite the draw against Spurs on Thursday I still think we played that we were the better side and we played better football than Tottenham uh and we probably deserve to win that match so again I’m I’m pretty say confident it’s always hard to say confident I’m I’m a little bit more of course um ambitious I’m a little bit more confident and confident is the wrong word I’m a bit more I can’t think of the word but I’m a bit more in higher Spirits let’s say than we were at the start of the season so I’m looking forward to that didn’t like the TF Lord anyway none of the sounds of it uh hope he ain’t another Yes Man to jigan umro made some great Ranger strips I agree umro have done some good jerseys over the past I think we had a massive stim though I think we were with them 6 1964 all the way until like 1990 maybe so we had a long stim with them so there could be some Throwbacks uh the naughties as well successful
