hey what’s up everybody let’s do a fat pack battle vid we got 2024 Topps update fat packs 36 card fat packs up against 2024 Stadium Club the 15 card value packs with the pink foils you can call them fat packs value packs whatever you want so I thought this would be interesting because I think the fat packs for Stadium Club are my favorite literally my favorite format to open even over hobby because of the price point and because of the amount of parallels you get like five parallels in every pack so it seems to me to be the best value and on the flip side these fat packs of 2024 update I it’s my least favorite format for retail for 2024 updates so I wanted to put these against each other and just kind of see what happens um we have the same amount of packs here 12 packs on each side they’re they’re the same price pretty much I mean you can they’re about s bucks a pack on each side so I think it’s a it should be a fair fight I think Stadium Club smashes if I if I had to guess but the way we’re going to do this we’re just going to go pack forp pack in a straight battle format and we will see who wins the only thing I think that could help update a little bit is a lot of people told me that when you open a lot of packs of 2024 update the fat packs for some reason Legendary home field advantages come out of here at a decent rate so um who knows but we will start on that side 2024 update I have not pulled really anything of significance from these packs um I did I do have a lot of them still left I just I’m just not sure you know if if I really like the format at all um I haven’t really liked them any year to be honest Wyatt Langford Jackson Cheerio I’ve had maybe one or two really good pulls from fatpack packs um in my whole life but the Stadium Club ones on the other hand have been amazing fat pack number one Austin Wells Stars MB all class that’s a chrome by the way all class Wyatt [Music] Langford and then Smith schaver and Verlander we will try to keep I’ll try to keep that on the left this set on the left and Stadium Club on the right so Stadium Club the big Advantage the three pinks you also get a chrome in every pack and a red or a black I think in every pack so you just guaranteed get being guaranteed five parallels it’s pretty pretty pretty Rock Solid little bit of sticking these were happen with the other ones too they’re not the cards aren’t actually stuck together they’re just a a little weird there’s the Lawrence Butler card one of my favorite pictures of the set we got ourselves a green refractor so we’re going to have like six parallels in this pack back and it’s a rookie and it’s a color match so a big start for the Stadium Club side Zack gelof this is wow this this a beautiful card these are not numbered but they’re obviously Lower Print run cards and that with that color match I don’t know if I can get rid of that card that is a beauty I like gof he’s a decent player nice one behind it Ken griffy Jr insert Special Forces red foil Tyler black pink starting with a Jordan Westberg that’s not bad and a hton Kad that’s definitely not bad and then Jason veritech and our Chrome is Roos so pretty big lead here for Stadium Club already not surprising watch us pull just fire from 2024 update it would be funny I I’ll take it if it happens cuz I feel right now I feel like I wasted my money on a lot of these fat packs um it’s really just a lot of Base cards you get a lot of dud packs where there’s not a lot of inserts so you got to kind of get lucky there’s Kade Smith we got an 89 like this pack right here like if you get this fat pack where your only insert is an 89 and two stars of MLBs you will not see a single Stadium Club fat pack like that I guarantee you you all right back over to the Stadium Club side I think what I’m most curious about is will we score an auto from Stadium Club the last time I opened 12 of these I did get one Auto so I’m kind of curious to see if that’ll happen again there’s Jason Dominguez rookie Austin Wells Pereira three Yankees we’re going to have three Mariners Castillo Crawford and Brian woo rookie we got a rafhaela Duran and will AR BR rookie we got a refractor Christy matthewson so these are not numbered but a nice refractor the red is a little bit of a color match there Aaron Nola pink George Kirby Luis Castillo and JP Crawford three Mariners and then a chrome Baylor that goff’s probably still the best of the bunch there’s Paul sk’s base rookie not bad at all set that one aside Jackson Merill rookie debut all right we’re going to have some stuff in here first one is going to be to 799 it is the wrong pirate Hunter Stratton let me just move these up here real quick Hunter Stratton is a purple it’s a 799 rookie 670 of 799 Juan stto Allstar we got a mystical B bashet and that is a base mystical nothing special about that one and then Curtis me and Anthony Rizzo Stars M be another Dominguez we’ll see if we got the same Coalition as last time we do Austin Wells and Pereira and it’s Mariners again as well Kirby Castillo and Crawford casus Duran we get to kasus Duran and raphaela we got a turned around card which is Gabriel Moreno that is a black foil so there’s our first black foil the reds or excuse me the red is Austin Martin rookie then we got Kell Ripken Eddie Murray and Jim Palmer so three more Orioles and then William contras Chrome Yamamoto Jackson Merill again second one of him we got a turned around card hopefully that’s an 89 parallel it is to 299 Corbin Carol and that is going to be a black very sharp Corbin Carroll there to 299 the with the black border and then a really nice Shi Allstar I have not pulled a lot of these the sh All-Star card has avoided me like the plague so that’s a good pull there Autumn tales mazeroski and then we got Jung who and O’Neal Cruz all right all right not bad from update there take that more Yankees we got Juan stto Alex Rodriguez and Roger Clemens more Mariners I’m just going to end up getting all Yankees and Mariners and Red Sox I think Brian woo oh never mind here comes some new stuff satchel pagee Bob Gibson abrau Jackie Robinson Rod Karu Manny Machado is the insert virtuosos of velocity Kyle manzardo red foil color match Cedric Mullins Ryan Mount Castle and adley Rutman so three more Orioles and a really nice adley pink and then Shane mclanahan is is your Chrome so Stadium Club started off hot cooled down a little bit [Music] here all right andosan strand rookie card Zack gof Jackson holiday and Evan Carter Coalition we got a turned around probably rainbow foil Zack Delo it’s going to be a rookie rainbow I don’t really know where to put this over here with it Yogi Barra Autumn Tails then we got Chapman and holiday Stars be just tilt this up smidge over to Stadium Club lot of packs here it’s kind of a longer video but I thought it will be fun to do kind of a longer one with these packs all right I got all kinds of the I don’t know why these are doing that Jose cono Mark Maguire we got Nola Azie Stan muu Nar Ernie Banks Ryan Samberg SE Suzuki refractor Matt olssen that’s not a bad name to get for the refractor second refractor pull Matthew was the other one red foil Christian Scott I’ve pulled this card it feels like a million times for the Mets and then we got there he is gunar Henderson so more Orioles Felix Bautista and Colton cower so there’s a nice Orioles Coalition in our favor and then Carlton Fisk on the Chrome all right I think uh Stadium Club officially took back the lead there couple of really nice pinks we got something looks like a black gold probably turned around there Jason Dominguez and sadan raphaela if that’s a parallel that’ll be a big one for the fat packs Colt Keith base rookie oh it’s a Jackson holiday so it would be a huge one if it’s a parallel nope just a base Black Gold we’ll put that up there not sure what else we’re going to get out of here we still got a bunch of packs left but Simeon and Riley yeah that would have been a big one if that was like a blue or a black or for holiday that’s a big one more Yankees Babe Ruth Bernie Mickey Manel here’s Luciano Matos and Harrison three Giants rookies more Red Sox Carlton Fisk Ortiz and bogs we got a turned around shohi sweet so sh Otani Chief fantasy we’ve pulled this one a few times never gets old pulling a shohi insert Roger Clemens red foil we got some Giants for the pink YZ Luciano and Matos and our Chrome is Manny Machado we are down to six packs on each side so halfway through all right we got a gold so we’re going to get a numbered card in here Gavin Williams just need the right guy these fat packs are still in it because Stadium Club has not pulled away so this gold could be big Kate Smith the gold EMT Shen gold rookie debut that’s going to be 1726 of 2024 and then a nice one behind it sh Otani on the 89 insert very popular insert edley rushman and Spencer Tolson that insert does not stay on my website for more than 5 minutes if I put one up there it is just immediately gone just one of those you know with shohi it’s one of those things this pack looks like we might have some damage to some of these Corners more Yankees Stanton Torres vulpi more Mariners Raleigh jrod and Kirby more Red Sox de Yoshida and casus we have a Jackson cheero insert Special Forces Mark Maguire red there we go griffy on the Pink So if we’re going to get some Mariners that’s the upside of that Kell Raleigh and jrod so griffy and jrod on the pink I’m not going to complain about that it’s pretty nice and then a nice one there Colt Keith Chrome throw that up there for now like that griffy all right hopefully we can get some different teams though this this bunched up team thing yeah it’s cool like if you got the right teams you know if you’re getting the the reds or something for Ellie or Pittsburgh for skin but if you’re not you’re kind of just like H I’ll take some variety please otherwise you’re going to end up with a lot of doubles and I’ve heard that from a lot of people Co Keith debut was in here Jackson Merill third debut that we fed of him we have a chrome adley Rutman allstar game it looks like Riley green with his I love this picture look at how wide his eyes are looking at that ball it’s a I only just noticed that the other day Fernando tatis mystical and that’s going to be a base Colton cower and Curtis me man more Yankees maybe we’ll get a Jer autograph then or Dominguez I do not have a Dominguez auto stto Rodriguez Clemens again Paige Gibson same Coalition Aussie Smith Jackie Robinson Rod Karu the Green rookie AJ Smith Sha that could have been a big one those greens are really really nice we got the g off earlier Smith Scher though pitcher with some potential so we’ll see about him numbers didn’t look bad for that guy we have a jrod virtuoso of velocity another Zack gof this time a red and then we got Mariners again let’s hope we got another griffy Brian woo nope Paige and Gibson so different there and and Lou arise on the Chrome so Stadium Club a little disappointing to me with with all the doubles that we’re getting and I feel like they can still be had here if as long as we don’t have some like dud fat packs here on the way trout and shohi sk’s combo card to 799 TJ Hopkins so that’s going to be a rookie but it’s going to be a purple or excuse me a blue wait 999 TJ Hopkins rookie to 999 for the Tigers Trey Turner Allstar and then Lewis and vuli stars M be all right after this pack we’ll be down to to the final three on both sides more Yankees Aaron judge Rizzo and Garrick Cole we got Jung Huli Ichiro and there’s Griffey’s base along with Ted Williams Pedro Martinez oh we got an auto all right so Luis Castillo on the auto so we did pull an auto on card Auto castio I feel like I pulled Auto out of last year’s Stadium Club as well but that that’s not bad I mean that’s a pitcher who’s been established in the league for a while we’ll take this sh insert down so we did get one Auto I was hoping to get one I’ll take it oh we got a Mike Trout parallel behind it this is going to be a black foil yeah Mike trout black foil so Stadium Club Now firmly in the lead take the Cole Keith down for that trout that’s a really nice one cool Jose cono red more Giants Kyle Harrison Jung hul Lee and Ichiro finishes that off and then en carosio and strand is the Chrome all right so that was a great pack with an auto and a trout black foil so we’re going to need something out of the update side here now for sure only one base Paul SK was pulled too I’m trying to I was going to keep track of that in my head in case it mattered right now it’s not looking like it matters though there’s a Cole Keith base we got a uh O’Neal Cruz Chrome and Nolan Ryan this has been a really tough pull for me as well all class Nolan Ryan I don’t even think I’ve pulled it yet so there’s that one and then Schneider and Bellinger so not the best pack there nothing numbered out of Stadium Club so far very difficult to pull numbered cards out here it is it is possible though I will say okay we got we got a okay it’s a die cut I was trying to figure out what was going on I thought it was a damaged card it’s a die cut in here Mar Rivera Yogi Bara there’s Willie Maye Logan web ymy again and we got some Orioles it looks like coming up there’s Jordan Westberg again and Kad again there’s veritek we got a Bobby wit numbered card let’s go look at that well that just probably hammered the nail in the coffin so Bobby wit Jr to 199 167 of 199 and we got a great card behind it as well Yamamoto rookie trium britz take that it’s a really nice card as well Lane Thomas is a red then we got Will Clark Willie Mays and Logan Webb three Giants on the pink and Chris Morell Chrome wow what a nice pet that Bobby Wht is awesome so we did get a numbered card after all down to our final two on each side sorry a little bit of a longer video today but I enjoy ripping at length Wyatt lford base rookie come on give us another sk’s base at least all these base cards Jackson Merl is the third or fourth one of that all right we’re going to get a green foil so if this is a big name it’s to $499 n nope Tyler Holton it is a rookie Tigers pitcher Tyler Holton on the green to 499 so we did get some numbered cards here though four four or five numbered cards the Corbin was really the biggest one though Freddy Freeman Allstar Pete Crow Armstrong let him cook pretty cool picture there and then uh Stars m b Cruz and Smith Scher hey we got some new teams potentially at least one new team we got the Phillies here all right Bryson stot Mike Schmidt and Trey Turner got some Cardinals phol Sunny gray Aeron and some bubies Nico Herer Justin steel Sammy Sosa turned around card Zack gallon that’s probably going to be a black yep black foil Zack Gallen red Joey L peredo and some Red Sox Carlton Fisk David Ortiz and Wade bogs on the pink and then Mark Maguire Chrome all right last pack on each side we’re going to need an absolute Banger out of update here otherwise Stadium club’s going to win even without their last pack I am not seeing a banger in here unless it’s a some kind of an auto that’s creeping up there’s shoh and trout Austin Wells imaga there’s a skin rookie debut so we did get two skin out of 12 fat packs but not the best Coalition for him Jackson Merrill base that’s his first base we had three rookie debuts gof holiday and Carter for the second time in that coalition and the only card in here is going to be a mystical Jazz Chism base mystical and vuli and chrio stars will be so update got smashed we got one pack left pour some salt in the wound here apologize for this but just trying to get them all so we can sip through quickly there we go Miguel Cabrera scall Riley green some Cardinals again Goldie Gorman and Mason win nice base rookie there Ian hap Chris Morell Pete Crow we got a turned around Aaron judge that’s a nice one oh man beautiful so judge power p but what a pull this is so we did get a Paul SK red to just cap it off this is why I keep saying I mean I know that the coalation can be a little Annoying with these you guys but the price of these for how many parallels you get you’re just bound to pull the good names you know eventually and now we end up getting a skin I mean just just awesome let take Colton cower down put that skin up there and we got some Red Sox Ted Williams Pedro and Des on the pinks and Craig beio finishes it off on the Chrome so just pure Domination by Stadium Club as I kind of thought it would be um yeah these 2024 update fat packs boy I think I wasted a bunch of money on these I mean we’ll see I I still have so many more to open and really all it takes if they do have those legendary home fields all it takes is one and that can you know pay for almost all the fat packs that I bought some of those sell for two three $400 if you get the right name so uh pretty interesting and fun uh
