it’s been a year of up and down and I feel like I needed to share this journey with you all I want to start by saying that this year started off great life was great soccer was everything I dreamed of it felt like all the work i’ had put in was starting to pay off I was training harder than ever pushing myself to be better every single day getting ready for the season ahead I could feel the progress the momentum and the excitement building for what was to come but then out of nowhere tragedy struck i t My IC up it was like the rug was ripped out from under me one minute I was on top of the well and then next everything I’d work for so hard over the last 4 months felt like it didn’t matter anymore all the hours the sweat the sacrifices it just felt like they disappeared in an instant when I first got the news I was crushed I couldn’t believe it I thought the MRI was wrong I couldn’t help but think why me why now soccer isn’t just a game to me it’s my passion my purpose my escape to lose death so suddenly was devastating and honestly the road since then hasn’t been easy there have been moments where I felt frustrated
