who doesn’t love a good blockbuster trade well in this instance Blue Jays fans don’t but we are here running through three trade scenarios gck crochet Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Alec bow because in a recent piece from John Haymon on the New York Post he outlined four teams that sort of headlin the Garrett crochet market and gave us N9 eight nine 10 more names that are out there and could be traded and he included Vladimir Guerrero Jor so that is why vlat is here everybody Alec B has been talked about he was talked about in the hmon piece been talked about in the passing piece so there’s a lot of smoke uh permeating from the Alec bom uh fireplace I don’t know if that makes sense but let’s keep going so let’s dig into these trades for these three players and we will begin I won’t make you wait Vladimir Guerrero Jr to the New York Mets let’s dig in we are going to be using the baseball trade values machine to help build our trades and sort of check me to make sure I don’t use any biases that I may or may not be aware of now vat’s got a $15.3 million value here and that feels incredibly low especially when you see what Alec bom’s value is you’ll laugh at this so we’re going to try to fix it a little bit we’re going to go on the high end because they do a low a median and a high we’re going to at least hit the high of 18.4 so let’s give you the trade New York Mets get Vladimir Guerrero Jr who’s going to the Blue Jays Mets fans don’t worry I’m not I’m not going to do to you what you think I’m going to do to you as a Jays fan I could ask for the World Ronnie Marcio Christian Scott luisan heluna give me them all not going to do that as always trying to pull out a trade that works for both sides here the Toronto Blue Jays do get Luis on hunia blade Tidwell and Jonah Tong Akuna is the number 12 Prospect in the organization we’ve seen him at the major league level already last year with the Mets look pretty good too Tidwell is a pitcher Tong is a pitcher number eight and number 10 in the New York Mets organization are you doing this trade this is for a rental blue J fans that are saying Hell No that’s not enough vlat if he’s going to cost $400 million do you really feel like they’re going to resign him do do you feel like if the Mets miss out on stto that the Blue Jays will be able to outspend Steve Cohen just to bring vlat back so this sort of again think about this blue jays don’t don’t just look at this as we’re trading Vladimir Guerrero Jr for three players and only three players that’s not enough remember what we’re working with here also from a Mets perspective when you think about this if you miss out on Juan stto and maybe you don’t want to bring Pete Alonzo back at the dollars that he’s asking for H maybe maybe let’s see how we did here based on baseball trade values we had an $18.4 million value on vlat we have a 19.1 combined value with auna Tidwell and Tong coming back to Toronto now I am going to do this though this works this is good I am going to do this because there is a player after this trade is done that the Mets have absolutely no need for and blue jays fans you probably don’t want to hear that this guy helped build the value in the trade so I’m not going to put it that way I’m going to have one more player thrown in and headed to Toronto and it’s Brett batty just throw bet throw Brett batty in the deal and let’s move on see what he’s got MIT F do you like this this looks pretty good Vladimir Guerrero Jr right there at that number three spot you still have to do something with your DH position but you’ve got vlat you’ve got vient to maybe we need another Corner outfielder to add some punch to this thing or maybe a like Taylor in center and nmo staying in left I know Sterns has said that he likes nmo in the corner Outfield and Taylor and tener but anyway you if you’re going to be making moves if this is one of them Mets fans I think I think this is something you’d be interested in let’s keep moving let’s go to the Seattle Mariners and Alec bom yes we’re going to hold G crochet and the Dodgers for another minute or two so Alec bom’s value we’re going to send bom to the Mariners and we got to get to 24.9 million in value to get this deal done remember Vates the reason why bow is higher is because B has another year okay just for anybody wondering why the hell is Alec B’s value higher than vat’s high it’s the it’s the other year of control so let’s do this this Seattle Mariners gets an upgrade at third base with Alec B in return now remember Philly we’re going to be looking for pieces that can help Philly right now and down the road let’s add that element in here we’re g to go Colin Snider Johnny formello and Jimmy Joyce many of you have no idea who any of those three players are Colin Snyder was one of the better Seattle relievers last year and in my mind that’s got to be the number one goal for Philadelphia this off seon is to upgrade that or or rebuild that Bullpen with esz and Hoffman walking so let’s get Snider from Seattle let’s get the prospect forelo he is the number nine Prospect in the Seattle organization and Joyce is a pitcher farelo is an outfielder Joyce is a pitcher the number 23 Prospect in the organization how are we looking based on baseball trade values we are sending 24.9 million in value to Seattle with bom and Philly get 24.3 billion in value back with Snider fromo being the big piece and Joyce Seattle gets that upgrade at third base this is only one move in my opinion Seattle needs to do more this could not be it Mitch hanar getting everyday at bats could be trouble I do think as an upgrade at second base could be had via the free agent Market that’s why I like the bone piece here because there are options in the free agent Market Hass Kim glaber Torres Willie adamus there are options I don’t know if they can afford willly Damas but there are options for them to upgrade at the middle so let’s go here for the corner with the trade because I don’t see them spending for Pete Alonzo or Christian Walker and I cannot see an Alex bregman fit so as we kind of go through opportunities for Seattle to upgrade a third base this is kind of where we land next trade it is Garrett crochet to the Dodgers and the reason why we are here for this is because in haymon’s New York Post article that sort of generated this whole thing he talks about the Dodgers being one of the four teams most aggressive for crochet all right it’s why we’re here a couple days ago in a video I said it seems like we moved on from any crochet to the Dodgers talk well it’s back 47 .7 million in value on baseball trade values to get Garrett crochet so we’ve got some work to do now Dodger fans that regularly come back to the channel you will remember we just did this uh two or three weeks ago we ran this exercise things have changed we are going to have a new package and I’ll talk about why we change the package after I show you what we’ve got here but we have to get more aggressive for Garrett crochet just what it is that’s what we’re hearing G Chris gats is going to ask for the moon and if he doesn’t get the moon at least he’s in orbit so let’s put the package together it’s significant you ready Dalton rushing yep I know you’re already out just hold on Dalton rushing Jackson Ferris James outman and Peter Huck head to the white socks white socks fans I don’t know how however many watch the channel but I’m sure you got to love this Dodger fans probably not uh maybe this is why a g crochet Dodgers trade just doesn’t happen rushing is the number one Prospect in the Dodgers organization Ferris is four outman is no longer ranked uh too much time at the major league level and Huck is number 26 Ferris and Huck are pitchers rushing is an outfielder Catcher And outman is an outfielder when we look at the baseball trade values machine we see 47.7 is headed to the Dodgers and 50.1 is headed to the Chicago White Sox and now you’re saying well Jim why do we go over I think you’re going to have to go over uh we add Huck to push us over and get us to a point where we are winning any bidding wars that are in existence for Garett crochet Garett crochet really is amazing guys um from his release his from his stuff to his mechanics he’s really good like yeah I’m I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know so as I mentioned at the beginning of this you’re going to say well Jim what happened to this trade I liked this one Alin freand Vargas George yeah let’s do that I don’t want to do a trade where we’re including Dalton rushing and and um and uh just why I forget the name Ferris Jackson Ferris no way well since this video it has been made clear that you’re going to have to provide a a a one or two top 100 under prospects to get gar crochet and this just does not hit the mark so we had to upgrade the package and go bigger this would create one hell of a rotation for the Dodgers Yamamoto Otani glass now crochet gonin Miller buer Kershaw buer buer whoever you want to have in that number five spot there would be just an unbelievable lights out just a ridiculous amount of swing and Miss in this rotation but again maybe this I mean look do you need to do this considering what it will take to give up what you’ll have to give up to get Garrett crochet do you need to do this if you had the need for Garrett crochet which I argue the Dodgers don’t the Dodgers have three number ones as it is do you need a fourth number one you just won the World Series and half of the rotation was hurt I don’t know that’s a question I ask you Dodger fans would you give up that package of players to get gar crochet when the need the want may be there but how about the need I mean Tyler glass now anybody else feeling this Tyler glass now is most definitely a trade bait candidate in a year or two anybody else feeling that the Dodgers will just eat the salary get him out of there and they’d rather have the more talented player and if you have Yamamoto and Otani on long-term contracts and you trade for G crochet and you work out a long-term contract for him maybe that’s the way you want to go the rotation you want to have in five years is Yamamoto Otani and crochet 123 maybe that’s how we are at a point where John Heyman is telling us that Dodgers are one of the more aggressive teams for gett crochet we’ll see how that plays out but those are three Blockbusters crochet vlat and bom Dodgers Mets and Mariners winning out leave your comments down below do you need to tweak or change we’re getting to a point where if juano is going to get $695 million it’s a random number um if he’s going to get that and vlat is going to be the free agent next year why would vlat sign an extension with the blue jays for three or $350 million right now when he could go have a monster year next year enter the market have everybody bidding for him and get 450 right I’m getting nervous guys I’m
