Justin obviously you have to look at video but what was kind of your assessment of the game from the first half to the second half tonight uh yeah you know I I was appreciate the way guys battled and fought there at the end uh you know it’s an unfortunate ending uh we we wanted to score more points and we and we didn’t do that and you know you got to take a look back at um you know getting those opportunities in the red zone and making sure that we’re converting on third down um I thought we did a good job of limiting turnovers you know keeping the ball and and doing everything we can we just got to score more points Justus just with the uh second half offense it’s kind of been a theme through the season quick starts and kind of slowing down the second half anything you’ve identified obviously soon after the game but is anything you’ve identified as far as why you think you guys have not scored the balls effectively in the second half um you know I I wouldn’t necessarily agree with that you know I think there are opportunities to go out there and um you know we we’ve shown capable of of going out there and scoring in the second half and it and it’s a it’s a obviously a tough game and and we’d love to score more points uh we just got to keep executing do everything we can um you know I thought we did a good job moving the ball we just got to go score points in the Red Zone you know can’t rely on Cameron Dicker to to bail us out like that Justin your first time with playing for Coach Harbaugh and him going up against his brother what did you make what was tonight like and what did you make of everything just kind of surrounding and leading up to tonight um yeah I mean it’s it’s a cool opportunity for them uh but I think it’s another football game you know it was a great opportunity for us to go out there and play on on Monday Night Football and uh you know you want to be able to play in these games in November and December and um you know it didn’t go our way unfortunately but uh you know we’re going to watch the film get better from it and and keep moving forward what was coach harb’s message in the uh yeah I think it was just to keep battling you know obviously a tough way to lose um but you know he he said got to keep up we got a short week you know we got to turn around we got another good opponent coming we’re going to you know Atlanta um so we have to be on our stuff stay focused and dialed in and uh go attack the next one J he knows what kind of team this is what you guys are P forall of to you like what does that team look like what is that ultimate goal look like when you guys are uh it’s winning games you know just doing everything we can to to go out and play consistently and uh you know play that complimentary football that we always talk about uh you know all three phases and and as long as we’re you know scoring points in the Red Zone limiting those turnovers which I think we’ve done a good job in um executing on third down that’s what’s most important for our offense Justin can you talk about uh running the football what can you guys do uh to run the football more effectively uh you know I thought we did a good job uh you know running the ball in the first half um obviously I’m I’m hoping JK is okay and um you know Gus has been an awesome you know addition being able to run and go and get some yards and uh just got to stay with it you know I I think that offensive line has done a great job all year um you know it didn’t go our way tonight but uh we’re going to keep pounding the ball and keep getting after it Justin uh Thursday thanksgiving’s coming up say what are you most thankful for this year uh you know thankful for my teammates you know the way they fight the way they show up to work every day uh you know they’ve done an incredible job it’s an honor to share the locker room with them Justin with with Quinton after a drop like that in in a big moment do you do you say anything to him do you have a conversation with him just as far as you know lifting him up after a moment like that yeah you know I think that’s the tough part about the NFL you know he’s he’s he’s a he’s a playmaker he’s done an incredible job all year and uh you never want to see that and just like when I throw an interception or or when I miss a throw he’s going to come up to me and tell me hey it’s next play and and that’s the way it is and you know everyone in that locker room is professionals and and K will do a great job um I can give him better you know better placement better walls and um you know it’s on all of us it it’s not just on him it’s it’s on me for the way I got to deliver him the ball I got to make sure that we’re all on the same page um but uh he’s an incredible player and you know we’re going to keep throwing the wall just the way that he’s improved from from year one to year two how much confidence does that give you that he’s going to be able to bounce back from from another Moment Like This he’s a fighter you know you trust him I’m going to keep throwing the ball and that’s what we did out there and it it unfortunately didn’t go our way tonight um but I know he’s going to be the first one in the building and he’s going to do everything the right way and um you know he’s he’s a truly great teammate great guy and he’s going to go make some plays he’s he a lot of good football left in front of him what is it like playing for Coach hard ball that’s unlike any other coach you’ve played for um I think just the way he attacks the game you know he’s got such a love for the game and you know a competitive spirit and um you know that shines through through everyone in that in that locker room and and they’ve done such a great job of just teaching that and emphasizing that and um you know I think he truly loves to win and wants to do everything he can to win you guys have had two tight games against AFC North teams that kind of felt like playoff games they’ve been in Prime Time what have you learned about the fight of this team yeah um you know obviously you said it well um tough game you know we we always want to be on the the winning end of those but um you know they they stuck with it they fought all through four four quarters and um you know there are a lot of good things that we did and some things that we need to clean up and so when we watch the film tomorrow we’re going to be critical about it be honest with ourselves um because you know these are the games that you want to be playing in in November and December and hopefully in January as well um so we just got to keep building off of it
