consecutive losses to finish their Maui Invitational run uh they host the Alabama Crimson Tide another team coming off a loss in the players era Festival championship game against Oregon both of these teams uh have multiple losses on the year Alabama 6-2 they lost at Purdue before the orgon loss North Carolina sitting at 4 and3 right now um Riley I think I’m excited to hear your thoughts on this four and three is like a scary record for a team at this point in the year there are definitely concerns with North Carolina I also feel like they’re significantly better than most four and3 teams like I I think they’re closer to like a 5-2 six and2 team like Bama is then they are like a red alert team but that’s what makes this game so scary if you lose this game suddenly you’re looking up and you’re four and four in the beginning of December not many teams can afford that what’s the mental state of you with this team right now on one hand like you said they’re they’re an Elliot CAD layup away from likely being five- two granted Michigan State I think there probably would have been 15 seconds left maybe Michigan State hits a game winner or something but you have a very good chance to to Ure Maui trip two and one if Kau just makes that layup and The Vibes would probably be a lot higher right now I I would say from a perspective there’s a lot of like acceptance coming around that this roster just has holes and its ceiling can only be so high like the front Court uh I said this on our ball up top episode The this front court that we thought would just be a weakness has looked a lot like a liability as of late um it’s not just that you have guys who can be serviceable and hold their own on both ends of the Court instead it’s been regardless of whichever big man has been in theame game mistiming attempts at blocks that result in fouls or just not really giving any sort of deterrence at the rim and on the other end there’s been some frustrating turnovers whether it’s fumbling the ball hooking holds offensive fouls poor screening and yeah I would say that’s kind of clouding my view of this team is just thinking like unless either Jaylen Washington improves by Leaps and Bounds at the five or or if you just roll with vin Allen Luben because he’s the probably the the biggest offensive threat at the five he at least plays gives you some physicality in the paint can draw contact but gives a lot up at the at the other end of the Court like there’s just not it’s tough to see a fix for this front Court I would say yeah so I want to look at the the three North Carolina losses this year and like single out different ways the front Court games went because to my eye quickly looking at it they’ve all sort of played out differently a little bit um and and I think it’s important to do before Alabama because to me what happens with Alabama’s front Court could decide this game cliff and morier has been really bad for pretty much all season since he’s put on Alabama uniform um they might just go to Grant Nelson and play small it seems like Nats likes doing that but I want to look through like if they do go small is that good for North Carolina is it bad I don’t know um let’s go recently and work our way backwards so against Michigan State what I saw with your front Court was essentially you went super small and you scrap Jaylen Washington and in theory I think that was a decent idea the issue was against Michigan State that forced ISO to not play his horrible centers which led to like the first Xavier Booker breakout we’ve ever seen there’s probably some debate on like should Hubert have seen this coming and known Michigan State’s Personnel better like I I think if you’re Carolina even if you have to play Jaylen Washington you would rather Michigan State always have Carson Cooper or zapala on the floor because it hurts them significantly to do that so like I don’t know in that game it’s like you went small and it bit you because the other team was better small is that a fair way to interpret what happened against state to you yeah I would say that or even like you went with the wrong small Center you went with Jaylen Withers at the five when Vin Allen lubben is because Withers wasn’t really giving any Rim protection either at that point go with the guy in Luben again who can draw fouls who’s been the best roller he’s been the by far the best Carolina big off the screen and roll leads the team with nine dunks this year and he’s playing like probably 10 minutes a game um he’s the he’s probably has the best hands and is the most reliable finisher coming off of those ball screens the high ball screens that Carolina loves to run I I think maybe that’s a it’s a little bit different the I don’t know I I I just think with like the when you have a complete non-scoring threat at the five it just makes life so much harder on the guards and we saw that against both Michigan State and Auburn sorry to get ahead I don’t know what you’re to say about Auburn but to me if I were to diagnose it it was just like Auburn didn’t respect anybody at the five they didn’t respect Withers at the four and it made life really tough on on the guards yeah so the other two I think are more straightforward but like I guess what what I’m after here is like you went small against Michigan State and it essentially let another team go small and exploit that like you almost just didn’t see the benefits of small ball by going small against Auburn I to me like I I don’t know you went small a little bit right but you also still played Washington 17 minutes the story there was just there was no answer for broom no matter what combination you did broom’s awesome there’s no issue with that Janai broom’s one of the best players in the country then you go to Kansas like something worked in the second half and I remember watching that live I mean Dickinson had 20 and 10 he was dominant but I felt like a big part of your run in the second half was you exploiting Hunter defensively and stretching him out to the perimeter a little bit so what what went right for you in the front court against Kansas in the Furious comeback uh honestly that game feels like forever ago but I would say again going back to Luben and I’ve been a Luben skeptic I’ve been critical of his game but he he held his own against Dickinson in that second half like he frustrated him a little bit on on defense and the person I mean Jaylen Washington played really well in that second half if I recall correctly and they were able to spread Kansas out they were able to get Dickinson on the perimeter um and the guards got downhill at will that like they were living in the paint that game and you got jayen Withers shooting three for five and like not turning the ball over um you kind of got a and I would say a bit of anomaly for a withers’s game on that one like if you remember there were times where Withers was popping out to three or it was Withers in the corner with the like the five out actions that UNCC was running and Hunter was in charge of closing out on Withers and it led to open threes and I mean got a lot of open looks for set Trimble that game as well but yeah that’s kind of what what I most remember about that game yeah Withers hit very timely shots for sure but I guess if there’s a common threat in this what I’m hearing from you is like more Van Allen might be the answer so I think that’s what I would Lobby for yeah and one of the biggest storylines for this game in my opinion you know take the weak the weaknesses of the front Court play into this but Carolina has been having horrifically slow starts I mean they went down double digits in every first half in Maui Greg what can a coach do to to change slow starts change the lineup change the starting lineup I think that is imperative like I I keep going back to that Auburn game where that Withers in Washington front court is just like Auburn paid them no attention they they didn’t view them as threats to score it was like let’s put two on the ball whether it’s RJ whether it’s kdo whether it’s Trimble um and dare them to find one of these big men who we don’t don’t respect like they I think they really slowed down Carolina’s offense by by exploiting some of the weaknesses on the front line and then on the other end when when you had broom who’s just bullying whoever’s on him like you’re not getting stops you’re not cleaning the glass and you can’t get out and transition so that’s why personally I think if Drake Pal doesn’t start this game um I don’t know what I’m going to crash out as the kids say that that’s I can promise like Drake pal is a great perimeter Defender you’re seeing him hit three like he made four threes against Michigan State in timely moments he hit two clutch threes against Dayton in the comeback like he’s he’s showing more confidence he’s proving you can trust him he’s going to be in the NBA this time next year you got to get the most out of him while while he’s here and he’s by far the best option at the four he’s not really a four he’s more I would say he’s closer to a 23 than he is a 3-4 but I think he’s car’s he’s the best Carolina can do and I personally would like to see Vin Allen get the start at the five um the one time that Carolina looked good at Auburn was late first half they ripped off an 110 run cut the lead to two after Auburn jumped out to that huge huge Advantage Drake pal and V Allen luin were the were the front court for that run and I I just think like this team isn’t going to really uh I think they can be better defensively because they have struggled a ton just in like communication if you go back to that Michigan State game they were struggling to guard like basic floppy action that I assume these guys have played against throughout their basketball careers they couldn’t guard like the the flex action that Bruce Pearl’s been loving to run this year with with auburn so some of like the miscommunications on screen navigation that can get cleaned up uh but there’s only so much you can do to you’re not going to have an elite defense like you had last year because of the lack of Rim protection because of the lack of paint presence however uh I think you can at least make up for it some on the offensive End by putting Luben in there who let’s take this game in particular he can get cliff into trouble as the role man um he can get Grant Nelson into trouble by playing strong around the basket he’s going to give some up on the on the defensive end but I think he’s made the least amount of mental mistakes for the options at the five yeah okay uh can I push back a little yes please do okay so I I like where your head’s at I think you’re right the starters are not your best lineup I think that’s clear at this point I think as a North Carolina fan you should be asking for changes I think you will get changes certainly by the end of the season I expect it to be different um I I I think I’m with you on Van Allen just from talking through it like I’m I’m in on seeing him you know I was high on him in the offseason um look Drake Powell and Ian Jackson I think are very talented players it’s good that they both saw the ball go through the hoop against Michigan State they’re going to contribute to this team in a big way down the stretch for sure uh one minor bit of push back for me I don’t know if I agree that Dr Powell is a guaranteed NBA player this time next year I know he’s like a MOX first rounder everywhere but like I I mean he went four for six from three that’s awesome against Michigan State if that shots for real if he stays shooting 46% on the year that’s awesome before that on the season he was three for nine in a lot more minutes like the the volume wasn’t there and the makes weren’t there so one four for six game was great uh he’s coming off a couple consecutive games he’s played 20 and 33 minutes and gotten you one rebound like he’s not the perfect player I don’t watch him out there and think he’s ready to contribute to like a championship team I think he’s your best option but if I were you I mean you know this from my Phantoms through the years like I If he’s not a guaranteed lottery pick I’m not like pushing him out the door I think there’s a world you get Drake Powell back next year and he’s awesome like a first team all ACC player so look I he was great against Michigan State he might be great the rest of the season truly I don’t know it was his first game in double figures he’s played 20 minutes four times before this like I get there’s a lot of scorers on the team I I just that felt like a little bit of an anomaly like he went seven for nine from the floor didn’t rebound didn’t pass didn’t really impact the game other than going seven for nine and now we’re like he’s the key he’s playing great he’s our starter I don’t know about that have you considered that that doesn’t fit my agenda to look at other games from the Michigan State one it’s a good point it’s a good point but I guess I the broader point for me would be this like so Powell definitely is one of your best five players I think he’s probably your fourth best player and then you figure out who you want in the front Court around him like that that’s where this should head for sure by the end of the season my only pivot response would be how much of this is like backup quarterbacking this you know how like when you don’t have a good starting quarterback it’s like well this guy would save everything yeah do we actually believe that or do we just think Powell’s better than the other options like aren’t you still G to have issues if it’s Powell luin in the front Court you probably will have issues I just think like I mean this is Jaylen Wither’s six year of college basketball and he’s just proven to be unreliable like he can give you spurts he can give you stretches like he looked great against Kansas yeah there were I mean throughout the Maui Invitational there were so many times where even just attacking the basket where he’s supposed to be this high flyer who’s going to finish a dunk like he he fall out on the way to the hoop or he’d smoke a putb opportunity and I think like this team can still use his skill set because they need his size and rebounding I just think they needed in like a 10 to 15 minute game roll as opposed to 20 plus okay and maybe it looks like playing Drake for 25 at the four and playing Withers for 15 like maybe getting Withers in for situational lineups where you need the rebound any more or maybe it’s like with Drake my my push back to your push back would be like we we see freshman I mean his going into this year Drake Drake Pal’s festar status was based mostly on defense um because he was supposed to be’s I think he is a sure thing on defense I think he’s a sure thing on defense for sure his perimeter defense is legit his secondary Rim protection uh just being able to slide over from the weak side block a shot is pretty spectacular um offensively like he showed this on ebl circuit he played a lot on ball was a pretty good Creator could play out of ball screen some but the question mark was always the shot which would you know give Credence to your supposition that you know maybe this four for six night is is a bit of an anomaly um but maybe he just like I just think you got to keep rocking with him and and trust that the offense will come along that he’ll get more comfortable in his role and hopefully I mean he’s had open threes All Season that he’s been hesitant to take but maybe after this game against Michigan State a little bit of that hesitancy goes away I I still I like him better in transition running the floor than I like Withers too he’s a good finisher around the basket um I don’t know I I acknowledge there is a little bit of backup quarterback to it where he still like there still might be some of the same issues I just think his ceiling is higher than anybody else at who could play the four on this team and that’s why I I’d be pushing to get him some starter minutes yeah even like from a perception standpoint you want like Carolina needs to get their recruiting together and if you’re going after the Caleb Wilson’s of the world imagine imagine how someone like other coaches who are recruiting would be like hey look at Drake pal he’s a five star kid he’s coming off the bench like I think that stuff matters here too it does make sense um look I I think he’s going to start sooner rather than later I just you mentioned like he’s a he’s a two3 and it’s like well he’s the answer at the four because he has to be right like it’s not perfect it’s gonna be clunky even if he plays better than these other guys there and to me that’s kind of just a roster makeup issue which is why North Carolina has some seing limitations here in general um the only other last thing to put a bow on the Drake Powell stuff I’m in on him starting ASAP I don’t know if I was Hubert Davis if I would make that move for this game maybe there’s an argument you do because it’s like the Juiced up home crowd let’s go you just want it to feel different I do think you need to change something I I would maybe buy ven Allen into the starting line up before I would buy Drake for this game the reason why is because Alabama’s going to start Grant Nelson and am morier I don’t really want Drake Powell’s first assignment to be Grant Nelson on a national stage like that’s just he dominated so many people in the NCA tournament it’s just a mismatch Grant Nelson’s going to look at that and even he’s a good Defender he has four inches on him you know what I mean you’ve got a little bit of an opening schedule wise like Georgia Tech that feels like the perfect game to go to it’s actually a pretty good point we’ll see think I said this about Purdue too I was like don’t go small ball before Alabama and then they did and they they torched him so yeah I don’t know but the thing with with Luben too versus Washington I the I’m more like I think Luben is the better option right now because of what he can give you offensively even if he’s given up size on defense however I still think for Carolina to reach it ceiling it needs Jaylen Washington to play 20 to 25 minutes of good basketball because he’s the only dude who’s 610 on this team yeah he’s the only one with size like and I think I mean throughout his first two years his face up game really from 15 feet in has been smooth and he’s got a really good looking mid-range shot I think his three-point shot was a little bit of an anomaly where he shot eight for 15 last year and hasn’t made one this year but um I mean Carolina was they they they’ve done like this empty side pick and roll with RJ and Washington that’s led to a open mid-ranger every time they run it but they haven’t gone to it since the Memphis exhibition and I wonder if you can script some stuff to get Jaylen Washington’s confidence back up because he looked like he was totally inside his head uh in Maui like even if he was rebounding well against Michigan State you could tell whenever he’d catch the ball on offense like he was missing layups he was fumbling passes and I I don’t think you can completely abandon him even if you start Luben yeah that’s that’s my one concern with like his confidence speaking of guys who got inside their head Greg do you should we talk about Elliot Cano in this matchup uh we can we can I yeah I mean this is a a matchup between a bunch of guards that I think are in their own head right now I think you can make the case that RJ Davis is too he hasn’t shot the ball well this season at all uh I mean he he just couldn’t get anywhere with Jay nens guarding him against Michigan State Mark Sears has asked to be subbed out of games this year and I mean even his good games have come on like four for 16 shooting nights it’s kind of crazy uh score one for people who think fifth year people are just here to cash checks because RJ Davis and Mark Sears were supposed to be first team all-americans and they both look significantly worse than they did last year coming in we would have freaked out about this matchup now we’re like I just hope they play well uh Elliot kadoo is also to me in his own head now I will say Elliot kau’s numbers look a lot better than RJ Davis’s so it’s hard to even criticize the kid that much but I think that’s part of the problem of why you’re four and three right now you’ve heard me say this North Carolina will hate me for this I’m sure but like I just don’t respect the way Elliott plays basketball and I don’t think you do deep down either and I don’t know if you’re going to say that I’m not gonna hold you to it but like he plays like the cheapest of Duke cheap shot guys ever that’s all he does every game He Flops around and throws his body into people and expects calls he’s way more talented than that like he he is not a guy that is short on talent I can admit that even if I don’t love his game when he’s not doing all the cheap [ __ ] but I mean man Maui was just uh put it on full display he was like the Dan Hurley of players like I’m just goingon to bait officials for 40 minutes and they caught on to it and got him in foul trouble against Michigan State I thought it killed you guys I was really not a fan of how he played in Maui I will say that like the first two games in particular I thought he was really bad against Dayton played a little bit better in the second half um yeah thought he was really bad against Auburn not really many bright spots in that one started out really poorly against Michigan State as well I still think the second half um he made some huge plays I know he missed the layup but Carolina wouldn’t be in that position if he didn’t make that big three when they were down seven with a minute and a half left to where I’m with you I would like to see less foul baiting the crazy thing is Greg he’s top 100 in the country in free throw rate like he gets downhill and he draws contact he doesn’t need to be doing like all the extra Antics there and when you’re supposed to be and like up until Maui he had been having a fantastic season go back to the Kansas this game his shooting percentage wasn’t great but I think both you and I left thinking like kdo was making plays for others he ran the offense well he’s had a confidence about him a Poise about him and he gets into the lane gets paint touches and draws fouls like um and it’s like I don’t know what if it was just a compounding issue in Maui I know weird things happen in these mte where you have three consecutive days of backto back to back and there’s not as much time for adjustments or maybe coaches are more reluctant to try something new but yeah to me that’s something where with the week off um I mean I still remember that day in game I think he had four or five turnovers in the first half and I’m just like wondering when Hubert was going to sit him down and let him get his composure back you know like that that’s would be a huge point of emphasis for me if I was on this coaching staff like on on the week off is getting CDO back in the right head space because like you said we’ve seen the talent we’ve seen the talent on display this year um but it just I swear it just compounded against various opponents in Maui um yeah and like Auburn going through the opponents like Dayton has some good old physical guards Auburn’s guards are insane people and Michigan State’s a physical team so like it’s not that out of the realm of possibility for like a young guard to get a little spooked and just snowball I just I the issue for me like last year I was criticizing Elliot kido’s game I was coming out here and criticizing parts of his game that I thought were liabilities he wouldn’t shoot the ball I don’t like guards that can’t shoot I’ve been screaming that about Jeremy fears all season I think that’s killing Michigan State right now this year there’s nothing to criticize about his game I mean he’s scoring in double figures every single game his assist rates up his he’s shooting so great from the free throw line he’s shooting better from three like he has answered all the questions I had about the limitations to him as a basketball player now all the questions are mentally and emotionally why does he play the way he plays and it’s just it it doesn’t make any sense to me and it’s frustrating and I think it hurts North Carolina in a big way because he either ends up in foul trouble or it throws everybody out of rhythm and I just I don’t know how you trust a guy like that um but let’s go back Sears and RJ Davis real quick which one of these two do you think will come out of the slump in this game so I think it’s going to be RJ surprise surprise I got to go a little bit of Homer in this one but I truly believe it like this is a home spot for Carolina I actually think the the three guard lineups are going to be the the storage of this game despite Alabama’s front court advantage where you have Sears Holloway and philon going against Davis CDO and Seth um I I would guess I wouldn’t be surprised if o starts the game with phylon on RJ and sees if he can bother him a little bit with that I think Fon has like a seven foot wingspan um but where why I like RJ’s chance to break out of his slump in this game as long as whether it’s Cliff or whether it’s Grant at the five Alabama’s going to play that drop coverage and you saw it especially from kesan barel and in the Oregon game when it was cliff on the floor they kept attacking that coverage and like if you go back to last year RJ was Lethal get to his pull-up jumper he had a good floater nice in between game overall and if he can get back on track uh against that drop coverage that’s going to open everything up for him and the rest of the team so I I like the I I I like what this matchup presents for for RJ to get his groove back on his home court as well um I mean he knows he needs to elevate his game and again I just think having the week off learning hard lessons in Maui hopefully plays a little bit into that as well how do you do the matchups if you’re Carolina do you put Trimble on Sears cadell on Sears I’m probably starting with Trimble on Sears CAD on Kido on phylon and RJ on Holloway okay I’m also probably mixing it up at some point and putting Drake pal on Sears just give him a shot at it yeah give him a shot at it because and see that would be taking a page out of what oats did in the sweet 16 by putting Ryland Griffin on RJ put a 66 guard who’s super mobile has length see if you can cut the head off the snake um as far as the front Court your guess is as good as mine with how Carolina tries let me ask you this on the front Court final big question for me Personnel wise I mentioned uh in the Michigan State game it was actually bad that Carolina went all in on small ball because it opened the door to a better version of Michigan state that formula seems like it could easily be replicated in this game the worst version of Alabama has been with Cliff am morier so I NATO may go to it anyway even if you’re trying to play Jaylen Washington he may just go to the small ball look regardless in a way Tomo wouldn’t but is there any fear level of you that if you go small they’re just going to scrap a morier and unlock what makes Alabama special yes as we hash this out yes like it’s kind like you kind of want to do everything you can to get them to play cliff and I don’t know what that looks like yeah that’s a good question I mean I think there’s a chance even if it’s so you’re saying if they go small and put grant Nelson at the five it’s probably Stevenson at the four or mod diabat probably modat um I don’t know I don’t have the lineup data in front of me maybe I’ll pull it up and see if I can find it real quick but I feel like I feel like I’ve seen some Nelson at the five even like Darion Reed at the four Darion Reed scar me I think Darion Reed’s a stud I know his offensive game hasn’t really been there yet but I feel like there’s a chance that Reed comes off the bench and just lights Carolina up um just because there’s not there’s I mean unless it’s Drake pow you don’t have a ton of guys who I would say match up super well with maybe Jaylen Withers um but I think if even if it’s if it’s Nelson at the five you can get him in foul trouble if it’s diabat at the four theoretically you could ignore him a little bit because he’s not much of a threat offensively um I mean there’s a way that Alabama can find mismatches in the front Court regardless of the pairing though even if you even if they keep Nelson and Cliff together like this could still be a cliff Breakout game because you don’t really have a you don’t really have a big man who’s gonna can blow up like ball screen action that could free Cliff up to catch a bunch of lobs or something yeah I no I I think you hit on that um correctly like it you got to do what’s best for Carolina because even if you try to bait cliff into playing more minutes he could win the match up just as easily so um okay all right final superlative then we’ll do predictions I want this answer from you both these teams have lost multiple games both these teams have basically given us a stinker performance and some great performances uh what version of Alabama is closer to who you think they really are the version that blew out Illinois or the version that lost at Mackie Arena to Purdue I do think it’s closer to Illinois um I think they’re still figuring out some rooll Al loation It’s just tough to not love this roster like top to bottom there’s so many options you can turn to on the perimeter you got multiple guys you can lean on in the front Court as well I mean you got a a future first round draft pick and learon phon a guy who will be in the league eventually and Darion Reed it’s there’s just a lot to like about this roster that I think o will eventually get it clicking and figure out who needs to be playing however many minutes okay and then with you guys it’s hard to even look at individual games so I’m just going to go to the Kansas game are you close to the the Diabolical first half where you got blown out or the second half where you stormed back what’s the real Carolina yeah or you could say that the Diabolical first half against Dayton or the second half where they storm back and one um o or Michigan State I mean you do this every game so just pick whichever first half first half or second half my heart says first half and wants to be pessimistic but I think I need to let my rationality take over a little bit to where I don’t think it’s I don’t think they’re completely that second half team that we saw against Kansas or against Dayton I think they’re they truly are somewhere in the between but it’s the the reason why I can’t go completely with my my pessimistic and cynical heart right now is just the talent level of these guards and wings and I think that’s going to eventually count for something even if uh to borrow an analogy of yours from like three years ago even if Hubert constructed a sandwich with too many slices of bread and in this case guards and wings are the slices of bread and and the big men would be the other autra mons that you want on a sandwich I I still think like the talent level in the garden Wing room is enough to to to be significantly better than these terrible first halfs Carolina’s had even if they’re not quite this uh team that can press you and turn you over and flies up and down the court in the second half you got some good bread just one of your sourdough is a little moldy right now the other bread thinks it’s meat and not bread um but we’re we’re we’re working on it we’re figuring it out out uh okay we’re going to get to prediction here I just want to leave you with one icky thought that’s going to scare you uh as we talked through this I realized that Alabama is basically the roster that we wanted North Carolina to build I mean they also have three guards that are great like Sears Fon Holloway is arguably a group that people would take over kdo Davis Trimble I mean I think they’re very similar in caliber uh Darion Reed is like right in the Powell Jackson category right now but Le less is asked of Darion Reed and then they have a great front Court in Nelson and Cliff and some five star talents behind them you guys just don’t so it’s like it’s hard when it’s like well we still got these cards well Alabama does too so it’s kind of like where does North Carolina have the advantage to me the advantage comes from home court in this game and I don’t think that’s a small one at all especially realizing that Alabama did lose at macki Arena in their one true away game so uh reminder that diers Pro is our partner for all previews and Recaps this season diers Pro is a prediction engine that simulates every game tens of thousands of times it will give you the project projected score player props to bet I use it to inform all of my bets in my bookie uh we do not have a line out for this game right now so tune back into diers Pro tonight when that comes available for now we will use the kenpom line kenpom likes North Carolina to win 89 to 87 two-point victory at home over Alabama uh who are you taking and by how much here I really do think Carolina gets it done I’m looking on what they did last year when they granted better team but coming out of Atlantis had a tough loss to uh a villain Nova team that they honestly had a lot more Talent then felt kind of similar to this Michigan State game blew a game they should have won and they answered by annihilating Tennessee on their own court at least for a half Tennessee kind of crawled back into it but uh I I think that happens again with well I’m not going to say that it happens a direct repeat of it I think but I think Carolina could maybe go up double digits in this game Alabama probably makes it closer but I like Carolina ultimately pulling out like a 95 to 89 type of win very highly scoring entertaining game um yeah I’m gonna take Carolina to win I just think this is like desperate Back Against The Wall home team like I I don’t think they have any interest in starting the year four and four and the dialogues that would come come out of that Alabama’s very good I would like this more if Alabama had beaten Oregon and they were kind of fat and happy right now because I I do think you’re going to get a refocused version of Alabama as well but uh I don’t know Alabama kind of pissed away the Purdue game they they got off to a cold start storm back took a commanding lead in the second half and then Purdue just kind of overcame them with some big shots from role players and Macky Vibes took over I think that’s the exact recipe here it’s going to have to be everyone in that building contributing but uh if you get a good RJ Davis game I like North Carolina to win as well we’ll have a recap up of this game once it’s done thank you for watching everybody
