you’d like to say about a 4-nil Manchester United Home win no I mean obviously it was a good win I think coming back in midweek and winning I think um you know Ruben amaram will be happy I mean they’re a long way off no no doubt about that but they’ve gone up I think into the top half of the table I think they’re only four or five points off top four which is mad really but I don’t think they’re quite at that level yet to give anybody confidence that they can get there the teams that are above them particularly in the top six are well you know well ahead of them in terms of performance levels but you know I think he’ll be happy at the end of his first week of matches 410 win today for amarind is so exciting what Manchester United fans would have won one one draw last week at if switch it’s kind of one level of the Premier League you go away to Arsenal bang in form 13 goals in the last three games Martin odal playing right at the top of his game that that is a big ATT test and that will kind of give him a a better guide of where this Manchester United Team are and where they got to get to that’s a big test though for Arsenal as well just a few days after playing it is um but I think it’s a little soon for Manchester United obviously it’s starting to come together slowly it’s going to take a little bit of time but I I think Arsenal the form that they’re in right now and the I know the spirit of the team right now this is a good good time to play Manchester United you know give it a few more weeks if this kind of new setup United continues to do well it’s a harder game I just think it’s a little they’re going to be a little undercooked going going to um couple of key players over Rebecca Marcus rashford two goals to at the weekend three under Amarin back to his sort of better form is going to be so important armad Dio on the right hand side we all wondered about the wing back positions who’s going to play there who’s it going to fit J looks like a little fine three I think involved three assists at the weekend and he’s going to be a threat yeah Revelation in that position This Time of the Season you guys have played when you get some midweeks and you get the weekends and then you get the heavy pitches and the heavy balls I I know it’s not 1975 but it’s it’s it’s still cold it’s still a it’s kind of in the winter of the Season that is where you do have to maybe adopt a new mindset Robbie to get through it um a little bit I I think the squads now and the rotation that managers use now Rebeca helps you know a couple of fresh watching three games at once we didn’t see the full game today beating um Everton at home I think I like that rashford is on his way back or it seems that rashford seems a little I mean he needs to smile I got to be honest I want him to I want to see him smile when he scores a goal he scored three goals in the last week I haven’t seen him smile yet I want to see that why does it bother you so much I don’t know cuz I I love Marcus rashford he used to be so much more smiling back in the day and I know he’s been through obviously a tough time form wise for sure and who knows what else but I feel like he looks like he could be starting to find his feet again and I love that for Ruben amaram and I also just kind of like the cut of amar’s jib I think he’s he’s got kind of success about the guy you know what I mean gravitas yeah he’s got gravitas which the previous manager didn’t welcome back to anfield so Manchester United have scored three goals in the first half already under Ruben amarim only got one under Eric tenh har also season and they two goals to the good um it’s gone down as a Marcus rashford goal but it was a well workor set piece for Manchester United it was yeah I think it it was worked as well because I think you can see a lot of the Manchester United players almost making an early run one or two of them pinning their man I think delict is one of them um pin in deore and that just leaves a huge space on the edge of the box for rashford who plays a little bit safe you know the ball bounces and he just concentrates on on keeping the ball down but you look at all the space he’s he’s got in the world there he does well to keep it down and uh and when you hit the ball towards goal and anything can happen of course I think is that just sneaking in I think it’d be very very cruel if you didn’t give yeah You’ be claiming that all day long 100% 100% and we’re hearing the new number two Carlos Fernandez is in charge of set plays and he’s he’s getting a bit of credit on the on the Dugout oh look the high fives will be going on this modern world that we live hey it’s cool I’m I’m all for it um Everton a really strong Shawn D Prides himself on getting first Contact in the Box it was Savvy it was clever Marcus rashford being on the edge of the Box you kind of probably take your eyes off him a little bit a good ball from F from Fernandez and as you say Michael there just looked on getting contact into that area impossible for pford brewe breathe it’s an honest mistake isn’t it and knowing Shawn dice like we do he won would to see this second goal in a hurry from Everton’s point of view really he no this will this will hurt this will cuz I think Everton started really well I think they had some great chances on the Counterattack United situation he never picks the wrong pass does absolutely brilliant and uh and yeah I do think it’s flattered them a little bit I think Everton have been quite good actually I mean they’ve they’ve looked a lot more threatening than I thought they would be just the final pass has just not quite been there but Manchester United as said before the game they’re looking only in a small sample but they’re looking much better going forward 2-n Manchester United at halftime 2-n Chelsea interviews with with him and Amar both sort of com a bit of a lid on it Dean after the performance just saying the result was better than the performance but interesting rashford there saying he feels energized under the new new manager did you see signs of his old self coming back yeah I saw more of a willing Runner um that would be my criticism to him in in in the last season or so is that um his intensity both uh when man united have the ball and without hasn’t he hasn’t looked like that player that excited us so much at times in his in his Manchester United Career whereas today there was that Zip There was that bit of intensity about his about his work and the end product I have no I have no worries about Marcus rashford he’s a top talent he’s got every kind of finish you’d want in the in the book and he looks calm and confident most of the time when he’s in front of goal so it’s more about the intensity and and how his body language comes across you know it is important your body language um when you’re when you’re playing in any side whether that’s for the manager the fans your own teammates yourself um and I think that is hopefully going to build he’s definitely not gone overboard in his interview and probably that is because he’ll have just sat in the dressing room and the manager will have dampened down the 4-nil win He he’ll have talked about the importance of the the performance which wasn’t spectacular and then Marcus has come out and and downplayed it as well Dean and by the way they’re now four points off the top four as it stands at the moment and into a positive goal difference for the first time since August at Manchester United with those four goals have’ scored against Everton we’ll talk about the implications for sha D and Everton but what about Ruben amri and Manchester United were were they very good today or were Everton very poor I didn’t think Manchester United were very good at all you know once once they got those two goals in the first half they looked a lot more comfortable in possession and were able to get through the middle of Everton slightly better um there was moments on the Counterattack where they do look Electric and that’s because they’ve got players there that are that are very good at that with the attributes to hurt teams like rashford like Ahmad and xery particular and Bruno Fernandez being the creative player that he is but it’s just you know again look the stats only sort of highlight kind of what the game was like so Manch United with with an XG of .78 yet they’ve won 4-0 and Everton 0.65 so there’s hardly anything between the XG yet Manchester United won 4-0 the feeling that gives you the confidence that breeds through the side um and maybe glosses over actually what was a a very average performance from Manchester United and Everton actually I was impressed with them yet it’s 4-0 it’s shocking defending and it’s now a worry with the games that they’ve coming up it’s just really it’s just really strange how once the game is finished you look back on on the game as a whole and how the two outcomes for for the both sides will will go forwards and you know Marcus rashford scored three Premier League goals in two games under Amar maybe he is the man to to reignite him uh and Joshua xery you know we asked you question at the start of the game you said well you know how’s hland going to finish feel about that he scores two in midweek then gets dropped well now you’ve got a manager who’s got two forwards both feeling pretty good about themselves because they’re back in the goals I know yeah exactly and as a manager obviously that that’ll feel great Z feel will feel like he’s taken his chance and those two can now sort of look each other every day at training thinking I’ve got to be the best and raise their their standards to get that shirt um rashford when he looks comfortable when he looks happy he’ll always be one of the best in the Premier League and he and he and he’ll always look threatening and he’ll always look like he’ll score score you a goal um it’s more about I think his his attitude off the ball which which was better again today when you’re looking for for positives he looked more engaged out of possession than I think he he had done under under 10 har and and that is important going forward for for the new manager um xery some nice holdup play some nice Interlink the two goals were just handed to him which is always nice um but there’s a lot more I think of improvement from him to come and they go to Arsenal in the week they yeah they do and and again that’s you know for the manager to see his team up against that type of Arsenal team in in such great form with the talent they’ve got he’s really going to learn a lot from that performance in in midweek um and again the team selection I think is going to be important for the players that are there CU you always think the you know Arsenal away who the manager picks early on will feel like it gives you an indication of where you sit in his thoughts um final word on Everton five without a win in the Premier League four without a goal it’s the second 4-n away defeat of the season after Spurs back in August two points above the bottom three and they’ve got as we talked about before kickoff a really tough run of games in December what do they do about it I mean again we’ll see we’ll hear what sha D says I’m sure in in time but he’ll probably look and think wow we’ we’ve actually played all right we we’ve looked half decent in the middle part of the pitch but he has got to find a way for them to be threatening he has to find a way otherwise the defense is always going to be under severe pressure today they couldn’t handle it today they made really silly mistakes of which You’ll be annoyed about but your forward line is meant to give your defense a chance to hold on to something a chance to have a bit of a of a Cush at times away games can give you a Lifeline if you get that first goal it never looked like coming and I you know I said before three points from the games that they’ve got coming up well it’s the Wolves game ultimately that they have to they have to get something from um and they have to look better going forwards um he’s none the wiser I’m sure of who should start up front calat lean had a chance and headed it straight at Onana it’s a it’s got to be a worry got to be a massive worry for for Everton fans cuz of um the way they defended today yeah I mean Clinton let’s bring you in as well you follow these teams and have done throughout the season Manchester United 4-0 win the liftoff under Ruben amaron how big a turning point could that be yeah it’s it could be a turning point it wasn’t I wouldn’t say vintage man united I thought as Dino said the first 20 25 minutes ever and probably the better team it’s just ever you play against a better Premier League team like that no disrespect to ever you’ll get punished at the back but it’s 4-0 is confidence and you need that confidence going to Arsenal but you can’t start the game how they started today Man United against Arsenal cuz the game will be over cuz Arsenal will be ruthless in that final third but as I say it’s building blocks it’s confidence you can only beat what’s out in front of you Marcus rashford I think is the positive from this game scoring goals and trying to get his confidence back and I think that’s the thing they’ll take out of this game we’re going to hear from rashford shortly by the way um they’re four points off the top four are they Champions League contenders Clinton I knew you were going to ask them tricky listen if they’re four points off where they are now then they can get into the top four it is wide open do I believe man united will get in the top four no I don’t think they would do it this season I think if they do do it this season that manager needs to be United because then he’s done a fantastic job in that short space of time but they’ve got to keep believing only four points that it is open at top four I think there’s better teams around than Man United at the moment so I don’t me person I don’t see them finishing in the top four you’re a very positive man Clinton for all evertonians watching what can you say to inject some positivity that they’ll stay up they’ll be all right that’s the most positive thing I could say I do think they’ll stay up I’ve said it many of times I’ve said it season upon season but I always look at it and I always say their home form is massive because the fans at goodon are fantastic and that’s that’s the only hope I’ll give them but they need to start scoring goals so come j brya we were speaking earlier they need Amanda broo fit they need a different option up front they are not taking their chances at the mo moment I’d have Harrison in the team I like Jack Harrison I don’t know why he’s not in the team you got Elman and J but you need a center forward that is going to get you goals at the moment Evan are not putting the ball in the back of the net and that is a big worry yeah defensively they weren’t good enough today I I understand that but they have been previously their biggest problem is putting a balling in there the next five or six games are worrying though that’s the only thing I worry about I am positive and I’m going to be positive because I don’t want you to be down beat I like when you’re smiling Jules but it is a bit of a worry for Ev but maybe and this is a positive that maybe Shawn D will try and take from this game you know not the score line but this this moment that you were talking about throughout the game Dean they had their moments large chunks of of blue on the on the graph and again it’s just it’s so obvious isn’t it there’s there’s no Peaks there’s no there’s no Peaks for Everton so as much of the game as they can have as much um positivity they can take ultimately they can’t get that end product and it’s such a that is a worry it has it has to be is the only answer then waiting for this deal to go through for the take over in January is that the only answer or can they find a solution within the squad that they have and we talked about bro if if he can be fit obviously that would that would help because he’s got quality um but other players have to have to step dor last season seven goals not this season at the moment I know he’s playing a little deeper but still other players Lindstrom yet to score players that need to chip in you can’t just rely on your your Center forward and put all the pressure on him he has to deliver of course when he plays whether that’s Betto or or Calbert lein but everybody has to try and and chip pin with better quality and and more goals to give them a an opportunity I mean it’s just so hard to take positives from a 4-n defeat that’s the issue because mentally it it it hurts you as players yeah Ruben Amarin wants fans to focus on performances rather than get carried away by results after his promising start to life in the Manchester United here has been hard to find for me for the last manager the one before that so it’s not like a given that you find that consistency but I think we’ve got a group of players who are very honest I think
