[Music] all right Packers lines huge game Thursday night could be the game of the week we don’t get these often on Thursday night but we’re getting it this week look ahead here was Green Bay plus six we’re now down to three and a half both teams off wins last Thursday so rest will not be a factor in this game both teams off equal rest playing in a Thursday night that is a rarity um Packers of course beat the Dolphins they covered his three and a half Point home favorites weather matters right Fez uh the Lions did survive that late Bears comeback um boneheaded sequence of course by Caleb Williams and Matt eflu I don’t really care which one you want to blame it was a terrible sequence that led to the Bears losing that game this of course a rematch of the week nine game Lions won by 10 low-scoring game um they covered as a two and a half Point Road favorite so Fez my question to you is three and a half Point home favorite five weeks after they were a two and a half Point Road favorite what’s changed that we’ve moved the the number down on Detroit or up on Green Bay since that last game yeah what’s happened is that Detroit was the best team in the NFL well they’re not the best team no more because Detroit has been hit hard with the injury bug by the way people have asked me who’s to blame for the Chicago meltdown on Thanksgiving day it’s 90% the coaching staff and 80% the quarterback it’s like it’s like a two-lane Highway where both drivers like head into the center line and have and and collide together and snap the ball I don’t care what the what the coach is doing or not doing of course the coach should have called timeout when there’s 30 seconds left but he can’t call timeout with 15 seconds snap the ball okay we’re past that um so the lions are a shell of what they previously were and we saw the Bears exploiting that in the second half I think Green Bay with you know fairly recent Revenge where they were in in the elements they weren’t able to move the ball I see this as being a shootout 20 7 24 I’m not even sure who’s going to win but I get the hook with the Packers and I know the line was six but up Arrow Green Bay for a solid performance in the cold against Miami still very good game and Detroit down arrow where they could have lost that game outright and so downgrade the lines a point half upgrade the Packers by a point but I got to tell you I don’t think I’ve downgraded the lines enough for all of these cumulative injuries and remember they lost their best defender a month ago in Hutchinson so I’m on the Packers plus three and a half yeah but you know they’re uh they’re going to the hospices uh around the country of uh elderly NFLs on players on practice squads and picking them up so uh they’re picking up experienced guys uh that can make a difference in the leadership front and the knowledge front uh so that is one feather in their cap that I think that they’re doing wise there’s a big difference between the the first game and this game uh love was danged up there was no Alexander there was no Williams no Myers uh another unusual stat is since 2019 Green Bay actually has the second best record behind Kansas City from week 10 on remember we wrote them off last year and they came out of nowhere uh and really surprised people and that was a lot of fun because the model picked that up early and uh I was writing them so they’re doing that again this year they’re improving and the same way Philadelphia was improving not that I think they’re as good as Philadelphia I think uh love is has his career long two game stretch without an interception uh two out of three games uh 75% completion ratio uh they’re looking pretty darn good uh but one of the things you have to remember is Detroit lives rentree in Green Bay’s head and uh that is a tough hurdle decline uh in a lot of ways because they’ve been winning pretty darn easily and uh the LA after the last game Green Bay just pissed and moaned and whined like little boys and uh it’s obviously a thing so uh as fic said uh they’re injured they’re in bad shape and uh yeah they’re going to get back uh Mosley and they’re going to get back uh Davis but uh it doesn’t look look like Decker’s going to be back doesn’t look like reader’s going to be back uh but uh they have the drive they have the ambition they have the uh wherewithal they’re a deep deep team and uh they’re they’re they’re going to be prepared they’ve got Minnesota right on their neck with it’s a two loss Team Green Bay is not out of this divisional race they can’t let up they know that they have to be there you’re going to get a solid effort from them uh so I I do worry about this game I think uh all the cards look in in Green Bay’s favor at this point but I’m going to play the Lions uh in a uh seven-point teaser I’m going to take plus three and a half on the lions at home uh and for show purposes I married them with uh uh Pittsburgh and the Chargers and if this teaser goes down I’m going to go into the comment section of the the YouTube video and I’m going to reset Pittsburgh and the Chargers someway somehow and uh that’s what I have to say about this game yeah I I think the the first game was really lows scoring um and that won’t be the case in this game Green Bay actually outgained them in that game by 150 yards but they only scored 14 points they’re going to score more than 14 points in this game obviously the Lions defensive starters they’re down 13 starters on their defensive to deep so that’s that’s a problem but for some reason as Chris alluded to I I think they’re the toughest if there’s one team in the NFL that’s mentally tough enough to overcome any obstacle this year I think it’s the Detroit Lions so I think they’re winning this game I think it goes over I do not like and Fez the followup to the the the Dolphins game against the Packers last Thursday the adjusted box score in that game actually had the Dolphins within a point Tua played well in the cold weather I mean 365 two touchdowns I know they were chasing the game but I don’t know how much I trust this Packers defense frankly on a fast track in Detroit against what’s a very good lons offense they’re not dealing with a ton of injuries right not on the offensive side yep you bring up a good point but I’m a big believer that take the fourth quarter stats and with a grain of salt that once I mean Green Bay had the game in hand so I I’m not willing to give two and Company those yardage numbers in the fourth qu because I mean we see that more often than not alth I’ll say the one exception to the rule is when Detroit was healthy they kept murdering people in the fourth quarter so they they they are not the normal NFL team like I think about that Jacksonville game where they put like a 100 points on on the Jags you know to your point Jared uh the Green Bay defense uh has the highest percentage of rookies lining up uh per play 16% of all their snap um uh I actually I wrote down the I forget what the stat is but uh uh maybe 16% rookies or 16% think that favors them at this point to me that means rookie wall is how I would maybe interpret that and they’re 25th they’re 25th in pressure rate too so Goff isn’t going to be under a lot of pressure hopefully so we’ll see but the rookies should improve hey from a yards per play perspective this is shocking both teams are plus point .9 yards per play year to date okay so both teams in the trenches have played equivalent now Detroit has gotten so many special teams touchdowns remember the Tennessee game Etc but if these two teams have played equal in the stats and Detroit’s injured Green Bay’s gonna win we’ll see I think the Lions win I think they’re the best te I still think they’re the best team in this another buying Jared Smith yet another shop they haven’t lost they Haven I the whole family I’ll buy I’ll buy your mom everything oh one thing one thing I forgot to mention my play is a seven-point teaser and it’s plus 130 so uh it’s it’s you’re not laying points and just another notation last week I had four plays that were either even money or to plus 130 so uh not laying big juice on these you’ve been killing it that’s the thing listen you we’ve all been kill killing it 25 and8 last week the record speaks fors um all right let’s wrap this game up cuz we’re all on kind of different sides different angles here uh Fez is taking the three and a half with Green Bay our sic score pick of the week is taking three and a half with Green Bay I am putting the lions in a money line parlay I will reveal the second leg momentarily I’m also playing the over 51 a half I wish I got 51 obviously that being a secondary key I don’t think it matters I think this game is going to be a shootout on Thursday night and Chris is putting the lions in a seven-point teaser getting them to plus three and a half all right we spent the ton of time on that first game let’s pick up the pace I know Chris wants to get out by 115 I don’t think we’re going to hit that goal but that’s okay because the info is good [Music] a [Music]
