this is getting obviously old um I don’t have any excuses we didn’t we didn’t play well we didn’t play well uh you know in in in the complimentary football that we have to we have to on the road in particular and you know it’s snowballed we played really really poor uh especially tackling wise in in the second half and um you know we got to challenge ourselves we’re going to have to look real deep here in a short week and find find out who’s with us and uh who’s willing to put it all lay it all out on the line you know for these seniors coming up next week no I mean you got to have I mean regardless of whether it’s really good or or you know struggles I mean you got to have faith and and it’s just a matter of you know at which route do you have to continue to push to to go forward and I don’t have a problem having Blind Faith you know when when you struggle like that I’m sure there’s guys that have some doubts in their minds and things like that but um you know when you really think about things like that you think about those older guys the senior in particular that you know have dedicated themselves invested themselves and I mean that and and asking these guys to go away for 14 days for camp and to do the things that we’ve asked them to do and not be able to you know perform and do the things um the way we need to be able to do them to to give them the results that they they want it’s tough um but as you know you’re being a part of this game you’re going to have to you’re going to have to find ways to pick yourself back up and and and have some faith in the in the process play I know how do you get this team to play and that’s on me and that’s what I said it’s about leadership and I know there there’s body blows that take a toll uh but you got to find ways to get back up each and every week and and that’s where we really struggle you know we we can play really really well and then we get to a situation where things don’t go well and we can’t find a way to to kind of regroup and and have the Poise enough to be able to to make some adjustments and play better especially like that like we needed to in the second half um but that’s to be honest that’s what I’ve been searching for for you know quite a while and uh I don’t have an answer um I can’t put a finger on it other than go back to work and and make sure you know who you got with you and and who’s willing to do the same things that you’re willing to do and be addicted to this fight you can obiously the emotion on your face I’m sure there’s a lot of guys in the locker room there that way how do you try to get guys back up mention in a short week the challenges ahead of them how do you try to manage those emotions that’s what we probably haven’t done as good a job of and um everybody’s a little different and we got to challenge each other we we’ve got to make sure that we understand that we still care about each other we understand that we’re all dedicated to each other that that there’s there’s some things to be grateful for um it’s just hard to see right now and and so it’s a reminder of those things but but you know it gets cloudy and it gets difficult um you know and sometimes the best part about this one is it’s a real short week and you’re going to find out what you’re really really made of and and uh you know we got a long ways to go but you know there’s some steps we got to take ASAP lot of change offensiv in terms of play call what were your initial thoughts on that at least that part of the game in terms of managing yeah I thought they they were in Rhythm I thought they they they handled the you know the the the tempos of things and and were very efficient in what they were doing um you know I think there weren’t any real I think maybe one um you know maybe mishap a little bit where where we made a check and and we weren’t all in the same page but the process and and and what those guys had to go through this week um I thought they did a really good job obviously it wasn’t good enough and and when you talk about complim football you got to put all three of them together um but the process and and some of those things um I thought they did a good job no we knew it there there was we had a little something on and you know we were going to take a chance and take a shot at something um to be honest with you and uh you know and so that’s why we were kind of holding in in the situation where we felt like if we if we didn’t have what we wanted then we could take the delay game and and we’d be fine with the with the kick um and unfortunately we we weren’t in terms of the off what about performance especially second well I think he he he managed what what we asked him to manage and and he you know took the shots when we we need to take shots and he made some good decisions and uh you know I mean I think that those are the kinds of things we got to continue to build upon um but it’s hard like you said it’s hard to see through for me some of the other things that you know that you you know that that you go into a game there there are some positives I I know it’s hard to see right now and I don’t know if I could stand here and talk about it but there are the the process of some of those things that they did and decisions that Brad made or you know where we got ahead I don’t know I don’t know they’re all and they’re all three well two of them in in different ways um it’s what’s hard to put a finger on you know I mean and when you don’t tackle well really it doesn’t matter I think that’s going to be one of those things that’s always going to hang over your head if if you’re not a good tackling defense and you’re going to struggle you know you’re going to struggle in a lot of ways um but there’s a lot more things that we didn’t do well defensively tonight than just tackle um you know but there’s not one that you can just pinpoint we just know that they’ve been able to respond um when you know put in those situations the following week and that’s what we’re going to have to be able to do Long Street going I guess how much weight pressure does that I don’t know that there’s any more pressure on us than than you know finding a way to get back up and and you know go back at it and you know play a rivalry game that’s as important as anything that we do all year and um you know is there other things that lay in the in in in the balance of it yeah there are but you know what I don’t think that those are things that are going to be in the Forefront of what we got to do we got to make sure we pick ourselves back up we got to make sure we figure out you know where we went wrong in the whether it was in preparations of the things that we did today and make sure that we’re ready to to go next Friday late the third quarter you guys scor extra point 17 there a conversation about going for two there yeah there was there was but still felt like there was enough time to be chasing points yeah now I now I do now I do um
