with a game uh of two teams in North Georgia with Kennesaw State and Georgia State in a 5050 game being played on Georgia state’s home court in Atlanta total 155 and a half for this matchup all right let’s begin let’s get things underway Jeff Nao we’re kind of curious here because Georgia state is the 500 team Kenna saw State who was in the NCA tournament a couple years ago under the late Amir Abdul rahee as the coach they are a what six and2 team to begin the season 5050 game here any thought on this including the total to begin things yeah this this is about as true a coin flip as you’ll get um you know these are two teams from the Atlanta area so uh you know I guess it’s a home game for Georgia State but not a far trip for kennol kennol has been an interesting team they beat rut but they’ve also lost some games they probably should have won and I noticed the games that they’ve lost recently have come against really solid defensive groups um this is not a solid defensive group Georgia state is not good on defense um they’re A team out of the Sun Belt who if you know anything about that Comer they generally are guard oriented it’s getting into the teeth of the defense getting to the free throw line um you’re probably not going to do that necessarily against kesol they’re a pretty good perimeter defense I don’t know this is a true coin flip in every sense of the word I don’t think you’re even getting much of a homecourt Advantage here it’s not like we’re playing at uh Cameron indor or or something here right I would lean kennol just from their overall body of work I just don’t think Georgia state’s very good they have a first year coach I believe in Jonas Hayes or maybe he’s been there a year or two I don’t know I don’t follow much of the sbba it’s not a big conference that I bet on but I Le kesol just their overall body of work but this is a really tough game I wouldn’t have my money anywhere near it Corby the Kenesaw State owls went all the way out and played in Alberta Canada last week UC Irvine beat them decisively on the neutral floor but he does mention they did also defeat ruter in a true home game for them what do we make of this kind of a middling Georgia State team it’s a 5050 game and any is that total a little high anything on the total here uh I wouldn’t say the total was really high and and a few reasons first off uh just such a such a strange game to to open the day and us have bets on this but always fun to discuss kenes state Georgia State off the top of the show um Georgia State fun at all actually I I see this team and like I’m not impressed at all this is a team that I I believe Jeff just faded B the uh the Kentucky side like 29 and a half like Georgia State stood no chance they gave up 105 versus Kentucky so this team isn’t good um the issue with kenas state is like if you go look at any of these games it’s one of the craziest Bo scores you’ll see they they can cannot rebound they give up the most offensive rebounds I’ve ever seen Kent State last game they lost by six they gave up 20 offensive rebounds in a in a six or seveno loss uh versus Kent State so kennol State what are they six and three at this point and yet not being able to offensive rebound I think their ceiling is really high relative to where they’re at right now like at some point teams aren’t getting 25 rebounds on the offensive glass on them um but if they continue to do so this number is going to go way past 155 offensive rebounds the easiest secondary points you’re going to score in the marketplace I don’t imagine that continues Georgia State the worst team that they’ve played so far this year so if they’re going to clean it up it’s here it would be kennes state or nothing for me I did not I did not bet this game 7 PM eastern time tonight in the GSU Convocation Center on the Georgia State campus in downtown Atlanta for Georgia State and Kennesaw State so the the handicappers didn’t have much on the game 5050 game that begins the show I see people in the live chat going wait a minute why are we talking about this game look you see on the side of the screen there are other games that we’re about to talk about and you yes you have the opportunity to ask some questions in the Q&A about Guy games you want to talk about for later on today that’s what we do on BET us TV [Music]
