[Music] all right this is I hope this is a fun game uh it’s been fun in years past between these two teams in the AFC West Chargers and Chiefs look ahead was Chargers plus five and a half we’re down to four the Chargers are off that super fasi win at the Falcons they were a minus 14% net success rate the defense um held them in the game with a pick six and Kurt frankly it was more Kurt Cousins um giving the game back but the Chargers defense still made the plays uh still secured the interceptions and the turnovers and still figured out a way to win that game uh the Chiefs off that controversial win over the Raiders where they kind of were outplayed in the second half um but they were bailed out by a penalty which could have been a f start I don’t know what the rule was or if it was the right penalty here’s what I do know the Chiefs are 11- one straight up this year but they’ve only covered five out of their 11 games they are just not a team that has exceeded Market expectations this year and you think that might continue on Sunday night yeah I make the game three so it’s an automatic take to to to go with the Chargers plus four now I get it the Chargers offense was horrible against Atlanta they couldn’t protect their quarterback and lad makoni their best wide receiver may not play all right and their best running back is out for the year okay but that’s in my that’s baked into my power ratings that’s why I have the Chargers only a half Point better than an average team I got KC plus two and a half KC people say well they get it done when it really matters it’s almost like a basketball team that has a great free throw um defense where they’re teams that they’re facing or missing all their free throws down the stretch Denver blows their you know their their game-winning field goal the Raiders blow the endgame I mean the one thing about KC is you can count on them to step it up in the final eight minutes I’d make the case like the defense couldn’t even stop Carolina from scoring an octopus on them to you know to tie the game uh there are chinks in the arm and since Watson’s gone out this defense has been bad from a yards per playay perspective throw a blanket over these two teams and the Chargers are slightly better and certainly Kansas City’s trending in the wrong direction Chargers gonna win this game so we’re gonna bet plus four wow upset Chris you think Chargers in a teaser might be the better option well I agree with a lot of what Steve said uh but we have to see the status in makoni because uh uh they’re they’re G to they’d be an entirely different team without him in the lineup it makes a big difference he’s uh Herbert’s bread and butter go to guy and when he’s not uh throwing to mcon he’s a bottom tier quarterback as far as stats go so uh he’s a critical part of this team and you know when you look at the Kansas City side of things I think I think there are either eight or nine consecutive games in a row one score games in a row uh that the uh the Kansas City’s won or no they’ve won more than that in a row but uh um I forgot what I was gonna say um they they’re they’re they they’re they’re not cover or they’re not forget it anyway we know how tight a game I mean it’s so absurd I can’t even I can’t even pull it up but the Chargers have been a dead nut under team this year and the Chiefs have failed to cover those are the two things that I glean I believe the Kansas City literally will not show anything and and they just don’t do anything unless they have to I mean and it seemed so painfully obvious uh in one of the games recently where uh they needed to make the big play and all of us in just big play Big play Big play and they get open and they’ve got a they’ve got plays to move the ball in 50 seconds and I think that that’s what they’re doing right now they play all these close games and uh you can’t really trust the metrics on it I’ve got Kansas City as the fifth worst team over the last five weeks and they’ve won every game so uh how is that possible so uh they’re doing they’re doing it with smoke and mirrors I’ve got the Chargers uh uh closer to pick also in this game and uh I’m going to be on the Chargers I just want to see what happens with makoni uh that’s why I put it as a third leg of my seven-point teaser plus 130 with Detroit and Pittsburgh yeah makon is obviously the big status here and my guess is I did see a report that he practiced today I don’t know what the capacity is I will read you what our Sports Injury central people have on him um beat up last game but expect him to play through AC joint and knee issues so yes I think he will likely suit up but how effective will he be is the obvious question that I don’t think any of us can answer the Chiefs over the last few weeks 13 and a half Point favorite to the Raiders 11o favorite to Carolina they were a slight dog against Buffalo lost that game seveno favor to Denver eight and a half Point favor to Tampa Bay eight and a half Point favor to Vegas you kind of catch my drift here guys now we’re down to three and a half four does our feelings about the Chiefs change now that the number is more palatable Fez no uh the Chiefs are massively overrated you know what the Chiefs are in Rocky 3 remember when Rocky gets to fight all these setups well well yeah n they was good Fighters but they were no killers and and and clubber Lang’s watching and he’s just watching the end game where Rocky gets the win and he’s just shaking his head and he finally would storm out of the Arena he’s so upset because he knows that the Chiefs are just getting away the Champs are getting away with it round after round they’re not going to get away with it when they play a real team and the Chargers are close enough to a real team they got a real quarterback and they got a real Coach so uh good luck Mr Rocky Balboa no eye of the tiger that I’ve seen recently that’s fair those are all valid points uh Chris you’re putting the Chargers in a tease up to 11 it is a seveno teaser at plus 130 make sure we get those out Detroit Pittsburgh La Fez does not care Clubber Lang Rocky doesn’t matter give him the Chargers plus4 um he thinks they’re winning out right you heard it here first unless it didn’t happen then you did not hear it here at all [Music] a [Music]
