right it’s Bill here here’s my thoughts on a 3-1 victory for the Washington Capitals over the Toronto Maple Leafs for the last three games so the last two Chicago Nashville and this game the Leafs have been outplayed and outworked and you saw this coming right down Broadway Washington’s got a hardworking team and they basically kicked the Leaf’s butt all over the ice all night and they walked away with a 3-1 Victory now I’m going to get into into some of the nonsense especially around the referees and how what whatever they they were doing tonight but this was a playoff hockey mentality fight for pucks the neutral Zone’s going to be packed and none of the leaf Stars decided that they wanted to pay the price to get through uh and that’s what happened and some goal tending was decent defense Philip Meers God Jesus how many how many giveaways you’re going to go for Bud uh he does remind me of the lease from last year and it’s consistent now it’s three games of watching him and at least watching at least tonight it was like four horrible giveaways but it’s it’s won a game and that’s enough hopefully Jake M Jake M I can’t believe I’m saying this hopefully Jake mccab gets back what’s going on um let me get into a couple things here first of all your Riot Raves report another excellent game for Ryan 0 0 0 0 0 0 8 minutes and 52 seconds of ice time and apparently he had four hits I saw one what a bum this guy has now played how many games this year he’s over 20 at zero fight he’s got as many fights as we all have watching this podcast zero what do you pay the guy for I I thought no I’m not if I’m not mistaken Tom Wilson plays for the other team yeah Reeves useless what and we’ll talk about another useless player in just a second but Ryan Rees zeros zeros across the board bud you add nothing to the game nothing I have no idea why Chief Craig Strongbow likes you I don’t even know I I see some of these leaf obviously they don’t watch the games uh it’s great to have Ryan on the team there’s no need for this guy to be on any just get rid I’ll give you let’s all go into a GoFundMe and collect a GoFundMe to buy this prick out zero zero zero zero every game useless tonight I don’t I I feel sorry for Connor der and by the way gbank was awful tonight too hey the Conor do a work in his butt off poor guy he’s got those two line mates tonight I’ve liked Rooker bankin but I don’t know what the H he did nothing tonight but he wasn’t the only one there wasn’t a lot of leaf that did anything tonight other than maybe stolar played all right uh but let’s talk about another thing that has to be addressed two more things I’m going to go through and then I’ll go through more of the game ponis Holberg on the second line I’m just trying to decide whether I want to watch I’m trying to think what’s worse than watching ponis Holberg screw up an offensive chance nander passes on the puck in a great area uh uh he gets the puck he might work hard the man might work hard he might be a great fourth liner but watching him on the second line I’m trying to decide what’s worse to watch do I want to watch the the urine leakage commercial that they keep playing throughout the game let’s talk about leakage I want to watch a 247 hour loop of the leakage commercial or maybe I can put on the opro Winfrey Network for 24 hours I’d rather watch those two things than pontis Holberg on a second line St I I think so one’s coming back I’ve never seen a person have have such a lack of offensive ability he’s playing with good players you cannot have I don’t care if he’s defensively sound you can’t have Pais Holberg playing with Johnny T and Willie Knee will you can’t poor Marner was passing it to him the game before man oh man Holberg play on the I probably don’t mind him on the fourth line fourth line Center I’m doers there it’s enough it’s just honestly it’s enough and let’s talk about Nick Robertson you’ve just played he just played himself out of the NHL he I don’t think he’s playing another game in the NHL We Know Chief J strongo or Jay strongo is the actual wrestler wrestler We Know Chief Craig strongo loves Ryan Reeves zero I guess he loves zeros across the board well Nick he didn’t go zeros across the board he had a minus one attached to his name other way he did have two shots on that Nick Robertson was the reason why the first goal happened if you’re a third liner and you caused the third goal now granted there was a nice tip in by Nick Dow for the first goal but you you’re on the boards there’s no one around you and you can’t grab a puck that’s the number one job that’s the only thing you got to worry about so if you add nothing offensively and you cost the lease the first goal and you take a crosschecking penalty I wasn’t surprised you didn’t see a lot of ice time tonight and you’re not going to see a lot of ice time in the next little while my gas gas is you’re never playing another game for the Toronto Maple Leafs especially if people are coming back from injuries they they’re saying Max Patch a pretty is coming back my guess is Robertson’s out holberg’s back out please homberg no more in the second line and then you’ve got McMahon coming back at some point you got yarn yarn Rock and whatever YN [ __ ] whatever his name is you’re not playing another game in for the Toronto M beliefs it was a pathetic game tonight for you you’ve had like three really bad games against teams where you should be able to well especially Chicago nationville you should be able to do something you had the goal against Tampa Bay I’m guessing that’s the last goal I’m ever going to see you play shoot for the and you played awful tonight just completely awful awful in your defensive Zone you you’re it’s terrible anyways we just talked about the first Washington goal the again I I’m trying to Fig it was just a boring game to watch and the first goal is caused because Nick Robertson can’t keep the he can’t receive a puck around the boards it goes the defenseman and Nick Dow shot again lson and Riley were softer than tissue paper but at the end of the day they they’re expecting the Winger to pick it off the boards and it was a nice tip and Jim Dow scores and or Nick Dow not Jim Dow I don’t Jim was Nick Dow scores makes it one nothing and then we’ll talk about the joh goal again the Leafs in the last game played eight minutes of hockey and got a game they won the game John varis does everything wrong as a forward in the defensive Zone and is rewarded with a breakaway now some of you going to go you’re just mad because it’s John ET I’m going to tell you to watch the actual game he cheats on the forward the guy the defenseman who shoots the puck he does a little one-handed ballerina act to try to block it and then Washington makes a horrible decision on the line change and Chris tanov passes it to him in the cherry picking position John Taris did the laziest avoid contact play ever and is rewarded with a breakaway I I can’t make this stuff up I I just can’t if you don’t believe me and you think oh Bill you’re so tough on Johnny T I am tough on Johnny t g makes $1 million and I’ve been sick and Guy can’t skate it’s a basic necessity in the NHL is to skate He Cheats he does this little one-handed uh thing he doesn’t hit the guy he’s supposed to hit and then he the guy shooting the puck he does one of these he does a little lunge and then for some reason the guy who shot the puck decides to go for a line change dumb move and Chris Tanana makes a great pass and of course Johnny te in alone he can bury it I he’s hands ain’t his problem skating is and he buries it to make it 1-1 all right you going to the third period And this is where the reing came into play I believe the the refs names were tonight I had the names up there earlier Francois Chiron I think was one of the refs uh Francis Chiron and Corey sett okay yeah an awful game it’s a Mickey Mouse league but let me explain something I’m not going to be like every other Lea fan and scream about the refs cost us the game no the refs didn’t cost us the game The Leaf played like garbage and they played like garbage for three straight games hopefully it changes tomorrow when they go to Pittsburgh but they have been garbage I don’t care if they’ve won the two games did they play well the answer is no they didn’t play well tonight they played actually better tonight than they get did against Nashville and Chicago but it just happens to be Washington is is an NHL team and not an AHL team but this roughing this is Mickey Mouse stuff right so the Le again before I get into this the Leafs did not lose because of the refs okay everyone got it the two penalties on Oliver emman Larsson never happened first of all when you high stick someone that means the stick has to make contact with the head it I think it was like your like your windows windshield wipers when they go across your windshield you got you got a visor I don’t even know if it touched the visor and then of course Tom Wilson with the move and the slashing on Jacob Chan both of them are not penalties now here’s what I think happened here’s here’s my thoughts on what happened in this game there was a Pais Holberg tripping call again our second line win now that was a trip trip and it was a trip the the ref made the right call it was a trip however right after Mitch ban got ridden of the play by Wilson probably ticked he purposely runs into John Carlson and falls down and looks at the ref the ref’s called it that was not a penalty so Lea fans again I I I don’t have my blue glasses on Mitch Mana M vitano ran right into John Carlson and Drew a penalty and of course the Washington bench went nuts it wasn’t a penalty you know no argument for me but the two against Oliver andman Larson weren’t a penalty but I think what happened on that one is once that penalty happened the refs had enough so they probably went in and saw that Marner drew that Marner purposely ran in and looked at the ref and they probably said I’ve had enough of this game I’ve had enough we’re not calling another penalty against the Tron map polia it’s a Mickey Mouse league so that’s what happens now the ref make mistakes against the Leafs the Leafs are screaming at them they say probably screw you but Francis Chiron what you don’t do my friend is get in assist for a goal that’s what you try not to do in a game right you you try not to to get in the way of the game you were in the way of the game all night you were in the leaf Zone in the first and third period and the Lea defenseman not only had to worry about the four check for the Washington Capitals they had to worry about this referee who was in the wrong spot pretty much the entire game Nam Francis Shir he wasn’t even what ref is sitting behind the net when the puck is in the corner you should be now I I might have wed a game or two you should be as far away in the other Corner as you can be you shouldn’t be behind the net there’s no the only reason the ref should ever be behind the net is when the puck is at the net you don’t go behind the net so Matthews picks up the Puck and shoots it and it hits this guy who’s obviously he hasn’t gone to the Mitch boy Tano School of triple axles hits him in the fraking leg goes right in front and Conor McMichael scores now you can say it’s a bad break no that is horrible positioning by a ref it’s a I would love to know how you get graded after the game okay guys let me get this right okay you made two calls on Oliver Ean Larson that never happened okay you made a call on Mitch Marner where Mitch Marner ran into the wrong guy and you called the other team John Carlson okay so you got three penalties which you are off they’re not even penalties and they’re horrible and then let me get this right you sat behind the net well the puck was in one corner and it deflected off of you and went in front of the net so the and you got the secondary assist on a goal well that’s a bad job review if you ask me how are you not fired the next day how Francis Chiron should never ref another game so again the Le didn’t lose because of this idiot but let’s call it fact to fact that is a horribly ref game and they’re probably ticked that Mitchie Bano drew a penalty but so did Tom Wilson the the he didn’t he didn’t take it out on anyone else what Mickey Mouse League again a bad break I hear the announcers all the time bad no one said what was really happening on that play the ref was completely in the wrong position for where the puck was he wasn’t even close to being in the right position he was in the way and by the way as a ref you don’t want to be in the way behind if the Puck’s in that corner you can go on the other corner and still take a look at the play and by the way if you’re in that corner the other refs at the blue line on the right side you can see everything why are you going behind the net don’t know what to say and there’s an empty neck goou I don’t even know who scored the empty net goal I know I got a point I got Tom Wilson in my team so who scored the last goal oh yeah big tall 6 fo8 lxa protus with his tth from Nick da Nick da two two two-point night bud big night and Tom Wilson with the empty or an assist on the empty n as I W Saturday will be Pittsburgh who knows what’s going to happen in this game hopefully we get more person in I would love Reeves to be benched and Nick Robertson to still be in the lineup the fact is Nick Robertson he’s not going to be in the lineup tomorrow we’ll see how they do ponis Holberg please for the love of of everything that is not night good in this world get him off the second line please get him off the first two line he’s not an offensive forward it’s just really embarrassing to watch it’s tough to watch again can I watch an erectile def leakage commercial a couple more times during the game I’d love to keep watching that then watch homberg play cheers
