everybody it’s Wy here and we’re back at it in our LIVE edition of our big Mets update segment that’s also paired with our current live reactions and breakdown everything that transpires in Mets land actively currently right now 7:51 p.m. Eastern December 9th as we Kickstart winter meetings number one night one I should say the Mets are destined to make more moves after landing the CED the one and only Wan sto and they’re just getting started in tonight’s show we’re going to highlight everything that we know publicly to this Point not only on the WAN sto contract details that we’re going to rehash and get into how insane it absolutely is but how absolutely is certainly a reality is not a dream Mets fans and yes Pinch Me it still has not sunk in at all whatsoever we’re going to get into not only wano’s contract details but what is next for this Mets team because what we know is next is according to David Sterns and others they’re active in the pitching Market Walker beer could be as soon as her next move shamai returning is becoming a more increasing likelihood Yes you heard that correctly we’ll get into all those remarks from Andy Martino of SNY along with some other key takeaways from David Sterns as presser today how the Mets are targeting another former New York Yankee reliever KN lay holes who officially signed his three-year $38 million deal with a second year option after that second year that we saw but this time and Jonathan Leisa loisa one of the better relievers in the American League one healthy one right David st’s trying to get his hand on another former yank will happen let’s Deep dive all the L folks and yes Roki Sasaki is officially posted thank you so much for spending your evening with me everybody I greatly appreciate that I I’d also like to preface I do not know how long or short we’re going to be tonight we’re going to kind of just feel it out and see how we go here especially if we end up having any guests throughout the live show or not that has yet to be determined but what I can tell you is that we’ll likely be at minimum I’d imagine around an hour long if not two hours long could be longer should things get crazy tonight in the winter medians and trust me don’t worry if the Mets do make moves tonight even if it is after I have already concluded this live show we will be going back live right away or coming out with a pre-recorded video right away on the latest moves that the Mets make because I do firmly believe that the Mets are going to sign a pitcher as soon as tonight if not sometime tomorrow with the winter meetings now in full swing officially night one I fully anticipate David Sterns and Steve Cohen to waste no time as they certainly haven’t now Landing the biggest fish and North American Sports history contract wise and Juan stto and yes folks they’re not done making moves thank thank you so much again for chiming in everybody before we deep dive everything that you guys need to know here on all the key updates let me do a quick roll call to everyone first chiming in and also guys can we please get some Wan sto hype in the chat we got to get it going Wan stto is a New York Met no it hasn’t sunken at all yet but it is in fact a reality so let’s enjoy this together Mets fans how you doing rubber brandall Efron how you doing Richard going up the list Kevin horded Sheamus gr member appreciate every single one of you also shout out to Martin for becoming a new member here on the platform I greatly appreciate that Martin thank you so much for joining the community I hope you enjoyed and enjoy all the live shows and consistent content that we’re rolling out here on wam folks and yeah guys it hasn’t sunk in yet it definitely hasn’t sunk in for me we came out with a video earlier today on how this changes everything for the Mets for Major League Baseball for sports as we know it with this monstrous contract of Juan stto Landing with the Mets at potentially 15 years should they void his after his fifth year option there uh to then increase by $4 million per year and I think that is a perfect segue and talking about woto today to Kickstart the conversation we’re going to start with Juan stto and we’ll likely end with Juan sto cuz we might as well talk about the best things since sliced bread to begin get in and conclude this live show cuz how can we not right we’re going to get into all the cute remarks on David Sterns my personal thought process on pursuing guys right now and Jonathan wazo on the bullpen front also starters Walker beer sha manah what’s the lays on them because they’re certainly positive uh yes and even if the Mets don’t get Saki which again I’m not expecting them to at all that doesn’t change anything at all I will say this teams players are more interested than ever than to come to Mets and come to Steve Cohen after the Mets just landed woto not saying that they’re locked to get a guy in saki by any stretch but it suggests that they have no chance though I also think is silly uh everyone has a chance at the end of day until they make their inevitable decision to go to the Dodgers Padre’s whatever it may be but all right guys let’s start off by talking about this wano contract because this thing is absolutely bananas webs love thank you so much for the donation and I know I shouted you out webs love you you were so on the money with your prediction yesterday at 15 years with an opt out there and the Mets $40 million to void sto opting now OB be 805 and you did have a $100 million signing bonus webs love in the chat when he got 75 million so you were really close to your prediction very impressed fantastic job webs love that is what we love to see here I knew he was getting at least 760 to 775 pushing 800 we said this like 72 hours ago on the platform if it’s going to go that far don’t be surprised if Steve goes that far and I’m not surprised Steve went that far it just it’s it’s it’s an insane reality but the reality of the contract everybody is as follows listen up Juan stto 15 years he’s making approximately $120 million and year one of his contract not only with a 51 milon average annual value but also that $75 million bonus tied with it is why he’s making such a massive bag in year one then from there he will continue to make an average annual value $51 million up until the conclusion of his uh fifth year with the Mets after that he can opt out unless the Mets have already voided set opt out option by increasing the average annual value of the remainder of the contract by at least $4 million which would bring it to 55 mil average annual value per season for the remaining decade long of that contract pushing woto all the way to I believe 41 years of age or so now wotto on this contract has himself in no trade clause so don’t expect the metub be salary dump in this guy anytime soon now that I think that there’ be any silly man suggest such a thing but I will tell you there are fans out there that truly are so out of the realm of just reality right now which is the Mets having Juan stto he isn’t going anywhere this isn’t a fluke this now everybody so let’s break down the latest this contract is so unique for the Mets in the sense that there is no deferred money so unlike the sh Otani contract where you had again 680 million out of the 700 plus million deferred and Otani did that purposely not only to benefit the daughters but it also benefit himself and not have to deal with California state taxes should he not reside in the state of California by time those deferred payments coming a decade from now if he goes back to Japan or he goes somewhere else in the country that has a more favorable tax rate for it then he’s going to be absolutely living like a cane Juan sto knows that there’s a big taxation in New York he doesn’t care he wants a massive bag and that is directly in hand with why he got around $800 million you look at on the Forefront in present day value $450 million is the current value of sh otani’s contract on present day in comparison to 765 at minimum for Juan soda with no deferments that’s almost double the price of what you’re giving Otani on present day value which is so insane to say for a guy is not a great defender and that’s again you know putting in lightly at times and also one that is not going to pitch lights out when healthy the way that show showy Otani will as soon as this season so it’s insane how much this changes the landscape entirely for Major League Baseball for players pursuing massive contracts and if there’s one thing that we can confidently say now you can expect the Mets to be right at the tip of the top of the list when it comes to heavy player Pursuits of guys that Steve Cohen really wants here by Landing woto you not only change every aspect but one aspect in particular that’s really highlighted that I think is important is that you change the entire Viewpoint of the organization for players having a strong willingness to not only consider coming here but knowing that there’s aspects to coming here Beyond a high dollar amount Steve Cohen will give you what you’re looking for but what he will also give you as a red carpet of everything that you’re hoping to be introduced with Steve everyone else in company getting exactly the kind of not only turn out that you’d Hope from an owner that has the willingness to spend that wants to compete for a championship but ultimately putting yourself in a position where you’re Steve Cohen you’re more personal you’re more one-on-one you want to build these bonds with these players so you are just as much as part of this team as the players that are out there every single day on the field there are not many current owners of Major League Baseball that you can confidently say how that feel one of which that stood out a lot of me at the time was Peter Sidler may he rest in power obviously Sidler the late owner there for the San Diego podre he fit that bill of a very wealthy owner that had such a high willingness to win and a willingness to spend because of how much he was doing it more for a philanthropic reason than for an actual I’m looking for my best Roi my return on investment by owning the team that’s not the case it wasn’t the case for sidor isn’t the case here for Steve Cohen and that’s why we can expect for years to come potentially again for however long that I’m covering the Mets for a living and as a Creator and a talking head and this New York Sports space uh we may have seen the tides have drastically CH turned for the foreseeable future and for great reason Sam thank you for the $2 donation I appreciate that a lot Sam happy to have you in here yoshima with the Talla thank you so much for that yoshima yoshima says I’m still on Cloud9 doesn’t feel real but it is I know it’s insane it does not feel real F the reason as to why it’s hard for this to feel like a reality is when you see will Sam and throwing the numbers at me from yesterday wano’s bat works everywhere his numbers at City Field though are something else in 35 career games everybody wotto at City Field and 146 play appearances has a whopping just under 1,00 Ops 12 home runs including two of the five longest home runs in City Field Stadium history at 466 and 463 ft a piece Juan stto has north of a 330 B average a well over 400 on base percentage and a over 700 slug at City Field in 35 C games he has he has hit 12 home runs in City Field in 35 games I’m not saying that woto will be single-handedly Barry Bonds next season but I’m telling you Juan stto is going to hit absolute nukes and for the people saying oh but he’s not going to have power he’s not going to have protection behind him just wait for one the Mets inevitably bring back pet Alonzo cuz everything is pointing for that in fact to be a greater Reality by the second we’re going to talk about Alonzo here in just a moment as we get into David Stern’s remarks we’re going to get into that we’re going to also get into Walker beer Shaman and all those things but Andre thank you so much for the two H Andre says mad about stto because that means batty is in 22 anymore I’m not a mad about it love batty but again apples and oranges here Kevin Weiss for the $10 donation thank you so much Kevin what do you think about the fact that we now have two future Hall of Famers going to Cooperstown and Mets caps maybe three if we resign allonzo and mind you who’s not to see that Francisco Alvarez doesn’t have a future Hall of Fame career uh calber uh calber career up his sleeve there as an amazing young back stop Alvarez is going to have a season next year that no one’s talking about at all all Alby needs to do needs to do is stay healthy and I’m telling you guys it’s going to change so much more the dynamic of this offense Mark Vientos after what was such a confident and soaring year in 2024 this is the tip of the iceberg for this Mets team and you talk about having more guys come into Cooper town in Mets gear we highlighted in our video earlier today how this changes everything and one of my closing remarks was how this impacts the Mets greatly you now have a tandem and Juan stto and Francisco Lor who have the true opportunity to cement themselves not only Mets history but as Major League Baseball history as one of the better onew punches in recent history one stto and Francisco Andor can easily go down as the best one two punch in Mets history offensively or close to I can easily see them surpassing David wri and Jose re as amazing as they were I can see them surpassing the greatness of Keith Hernandez there and Daryl strawberry I can see them going the lengths of putting themselves so far ahead of others because they helped ring a potential Dynasty to Queens meaning the Mets win more than one World Series at at least you know hopefully north of you know a 5 to 10e span if they can get that done you got yourself everything cemented for now not only future Hall of Famers but guys that will go down in Mets history as two of the best to ever do it Lindor is already cementing his legacy greatly what is in store for Juan stto arguably the best player on the planet offensively hitting wise right now who knows but all he knows I Dam excited to find out the entire future of not only the Mets but also us what we do here on the platform as we know it is greatly impacted and forever changed you guys have no idea how grateful I feel as not only a fan but as a content creator to see this transpire this is what the whole buildup has been this is why I’ve covered Steve Cohen’s every single move for the past three and a half years has led us to this moment now where we can all Savor and appreciate this massive Splash and then the Steve Co window of oh two to 3 to 5 years he wants to win a World Series well listen you’ve made it two gam shy of the dance and a so-call punt your year four and now you got Juan effing sto to pair with Francisco Lor backto back in this lineup for 2025 in year five you can’t say it isn’t for a lack of effort there for Juan SoDo also everybody quick question you guys and you guys can just Spam it in the chat I would love to hear it what should my lovely lady and I have for dinner tonight should we have Chinese should we have Fox should we have Indian or should we have some type of Spanish food what do you guys think that we should do because I did promise a lot of you guys that I would be having uh just solely Dominican food today if you listen actually to our show last night we had a Dominican uh Mets fan call in and he was just hilarious Absolute Electric ragged on Yanks fans and he made me I was talking to him I’m like yeah I got to eat just Dominican food today for Wan sto unfortunately my schedule didn’t allow it I didn’t get anywhere close to even having that have be my meal today I really wanted especially earlier today as well to get it with the eggs and everything else I know people Rave about but I am planning to do that tomorrow so to all my grr Mets fans out there be on the look at I’m going to probably uh send some photos on xra maybe even on live streams later tomorrow on whatever I’m going to find myself eating uh but let’s see here uh Alberto thank you so much for the $5 donation Wy would you give up the farm for vlat Jr to play for I mean listen if the Mets lose out on pet Alonzo then I would do a lot of things to try to land vlat Jr 100% Alberto thank you so much for that donation Bon ber manah I don’t necessarily see the Mets Landing both but I’d definitely be happy with one or the other all right guys so what we see here uh to double check Spanish okay I’m seeing a good I’m seeing a good wave of people saying to get Spanish food okay so that’s actually the consensus that that appears to be the consensus from what I’m seeing in the chat we are not I’m not doing Taco Bell can’t do that tonight but some type of Spanish food might be the way I I love empanadas I I trust me I do I do all right everybody thank you so much for figuring out what I’m going to have for daring tonight I really appreciate that I’m going to be munching on that late night once we’re done here with our pretty long live show today I’m sure so everybody now let’s get into some key remarks that we have heard today from David Stern himself from there we’re going to hear some remarks from Andy Martino and we’ll get into the latest here on where the Mets stand in their current Pursuits of pitchers of other batters Etc oh one final thing I do want to share with each and every one of you this was a factor that went in hand again not the X Factor but a factor that benefited the Mets in their pursuit of Wan stto and this is John Heyman had to see late last night in winter meetings L the World Series I took one little issue and I asked one hold on I got to check my audio quick all right guys let’s listen in on John hyon this is from last night for those that didn’t check it out Soo about this after they lost the World Series I took him aside and asked him it was one little issue with with the Yankees where a security guide booted either his mother or his father out of some area and there were some negative feelings at that moment now this I think is back in April or May and the same guy did it to his driver and Chef and and the chef had a wait and driver had a wait out in the rain and I mean SoDo is a family guy he was not too happy at the time one little issue and I asked one Soo about this after they lost the World Series I took him so is that nuts is that nuts how a security guard like pulled a full George castanza Seinfeld skit here and was essentially like the one wrench thrown in Juan soda’s way throughout his one year with the Yankees and that one wrench again not that it was a lone Factory because it wasn’t but Alex Cohen as we reiterated in our video on soda earlier today played such a heavy part in the emphasis on the family impact on how SoDo will have again everything covered with how his family is treated from top down and that is the difference the hospitality aspect of both Steve Cohen and Alex Cohen has been unprecedent in MLB negotiations the fact that Steve Cohen was the only owner that was pursuing woto that had Wan sto invited to his place that he special requested while house Ste brother Red Sox and John Henry Blue Jays dods and Freeman and everyone they had them at hotels they had PowerPoints to show them why they should sign them or why house time Runners should bring them back for the Mets they put out a gorgeous multi-course outing there foodwise with 15 people including Boris and a bunch of other people in their Camp they had seven servers here at Steve Cohen’s Beverly Hills mansion and they also served specifically Latin food furthermore as we go on to find out how Juan sto is presented from Steve Cohen they go out of their way to send sto into the theater room that naturally Steve Cohen has in his gorgeous Mansion there in the Beverly Hills and instead of a PowerPoint little slide that every other team did in their negotiation with stto we come to find out Steve Cohen played a little m movie of some sort that was on essentially why wodo should come to Queens their pitch whatever the details of that movie were I’m not entirely sure but again he rolled out literally the red carpet in so many ways where we just haven’t seen um uh what ties Carlos Mendoza and that is going to be Jonathan liisa yes we’re going to talk about Jonathan liiza here soon everybody that I’m very excited to share because I like Jonathan Lia a lot as a relief pitching option for this Mets bulp and I think it would be fantastic so yeah shout out Uncle Stevie for doing the amazing things which we really appreciate uh met just gave him the most money of course he did but there is context that goes in hand I don’t think that woto is a guarantee to go back to the Yankees because here’s the thing even if the Yankees matched Steve would have won higher obviously he was going to the top better but these other factors didn’t hurt the Mets and I think that’s what I’m trying to emphasize here but all right guys let’s hear from David Sterns and his key takeaways today I think there’s some key remarks that David had to share for each and every one of us to break down so let’s go ahead and do exactly that starting off here as the winter meetings get fully underway David stur says the Mets have a lot of work to do we’ve got we’ve got a lot of work to do um we’ve got um a lot of conversations ongoing free agency and trade um I think this has the potential to be for the industry a pretty active winter meetings and that’s a good thing um so we’re having a lot of conversations we’ll see where it goes but look we’ve got a lot of offseason left um we’ve got uh uh you know a chance to continue to make this team better and that’s where our priority is so yes please don’t be one of those fair weather fair weather SCH fans out there which we’ve unfortunately seen a lot of throughout the past course of the year and there will be more with inevitable bandwagon fans coming to Mets now because of SOA that will happen but for all the fans out there that are like all right we did this but we don’t have pitching so how do you expect to win why do you guys have to be so thickheaded to just not understand Common Sense Common Sense every single offseason just because you start the offseason with a lot of holes doesn’t mean that you’re going to end the offseason with a lot of holes so when we question the rotation still a starter or two shy the bulp end still a couple key pieces shy how about we understand time and place it’s December 9th the beginning of winter meetings why are there any fans out there that have the audacity to suggest that the Mets are not going to be able to make proper moves after shelling $800 million to a generational hitter you think they’re just going to sit on their hands and be like all right we don’t got to do anything else how thickheaded do you have to be like genuinely I don’t understand the thought process and I’ve had these interactions with a lot of fans and I’m still left wondering the same exact thing when are you going to just pay attention to moves at every single organization incling what the Mets have done over the past couple years they they have made it a point of emphasis that in the fre agan Market we’re going to make a lot of fre agan Acquisitions some will be big some will be small they will all have their respective impact on the club in 2025 we should have learned more than enough over the past year and a half especially not to write them off prematurely and certainly not to look at this as the end be all before we have more inevitable moves to come so that is what I will share when it comes to that I just I can’t stand the the the stupidity with that one I trust me I know I’m a dummy too we all are we all we all have our moments but come on all right let’s get to the next one now David Stern was asked if he sees Mark Vientos playing at third base or at first base it seems obvious that Vientos is going to be a part of your team one way or the other do you see him right now as a third basem or would you have to move him first if that’s how the chips fell for you yeah Mark Mark did a tremendous job for us the third um we’re very comfortable with him there and certainly as of now we see him as our third baseman it seems obvious that was a very Stern reply by David Sterns of I’m being completely honest and yes de that was a typical um word play by your guy Wy here but David Stern listen unless the Mets lose Alonzo the belief is that Alonzo will be returning and when he returns Vientos will likely stick at third base unless they make a better defensive option for third base a more well-rounded option than they move Vientos to DH but then if you move Vientos to DH barte is going to be coming off Solly the batch in C platoon situations and then you’re really limited because you need to make sure the is playing daily and I think the Mets actually after seeing adamus not really happen or anything like that it seems clear right now that they still would like to give Vientos an opportunity out third if it makes sense and right now as things currently stand it makes sense Military Mike thank you for the kind words I appreciate that Gideon and David Stern’s remarks when asked if there’s room in the Mets budget for Pete Alonzo let’s hear what he says they ruin the budget for him I think our ownership has consistently demonstrated that um there’s going to be resources um when we need them um there uh is the ability for us to make baseball moves um when we think that they’re there to improve the team and um we’re going to continue to pursue to a wide variety of areas um to continue to improve our team they’re okay so David STS again with a very type hobo type answer there I think gship has consistently demonstrated that there’s going to be resources when we need them so what he’s saying is we have money we have a [ __ ] ton of it and we don’t have a problem spending for Alonzo it’s just a matter of still it happening because it needs to happen obviously uh very very interesting to say the least uh sorry folks I just got an update on my phone it was on Korea and I just had PTSD from like two years ago if you know you know uh but all right no there’s no news there either I was just checking out an article but all right David Stern’s here let’s hear what he has to say on Brett batty because Brett batty has been in the trade market as of late which you can’t expect him to be dealt unless it’s part of a bigger deal because he has little to no trade value currently when you say you VI fantos as a third baseman what does that mean for Brett batty so Brett did a great job last year of um of creating some POS positional versatility for himself um we’d feel comfortable with him at at second base um I think he has the ability to flex into the Outfield if we need him to do that so I think Brett has done a really nice job of giving himself some options in different ways he can impact the team when you say you view Mark Vientos as a third baseman what does that mean oh I apologize I was muted simply put you could throw him in the corner outfit if you need to yes flexibility the the defense looked tremendous that we saw with the glove over this past season Brett batty is a man without a role for the Mets heading into 2025 that is the simple answer to it can Brett batty play his way onto this Mets team even if it means coming off the bench in limited situations as an infield option for them to consider yes but he’s going to have to best guys like louisan hunia to a much lesser extent jet Williams Ronnie Mauricio if he gets back in baseball activity sooner rather than later among others it’s going to be kind of an uphill battle for batty as we head into Camp he does have obviously the edge of having plenty MLB experience to this point over the past couple years so he’s had good tastes he’s had good sample sizes and he’s shown his ability to succeed here and he’s awesome when he succeeded but batty right now with uncertainty on his future I would not be shocked if the Mets traded him as part of a bigger deal this offseason or if they don’t trade him look for him to compete his absolute tail off this offseason offseason to try par me as we get into spring training rather to try to crack the team out of Camp to come off the bench because that’s the only way it really happens Edgar Martinez with his little panties in a Twist you guys only have two players in bad pitching shave your eyebrows not sure why I would want to shave my eyebrows to look like the schmuck that is you Edgar Martinez but what I can Enlighten you on is that the Mets do have more than two players and the same exact reason why Juan stto as a New York Met goes directly in hand with the type of fans that you guys are yes the dollars is a big amount but it’s certainly so oh my goodness gracious it is chef’s kiss and is certainly a taste that I’m happy happy to have right now which is Yankee fan there is nothing better seriously I I will eat them up every day for breakfast breakfast lunch and dinner a thousand times over you name it let’s do it Edgar so how about next time you instead of trying to you know self-deflection but to add a starting picture that you would say to him in negotiations we can guarantee your rotation yeah I think we have room for that I don’t think it’s a necessity and so we’re going to continue to um evaluate the market uh where we see opportunity to bring in players that we think are going to make us better we’re certainly going to pursue that uh but with some of the moves we’ve been able to make and are working on making um I think we’re we’re we’re getting to a level uh where it doesn’t it’s no longer a necessity so that’s a key quote there there to hear from David Sterns he just said verbatim pitching is not a necessity when it comes to starting pitching so as things currently stand the Mets have kodai senga David Pearson Frankie Monas Kay Holmes Paul Blackburn who’s ready to go for the season and he’ll probably be utilized more as a reliever than a starter I’d imagine at times Blackburn is again more of that you know not necessarily five and dive because he can give you a lot of solid six inning outings you know where he’s working the ground ball rates greatly he’s getting some quick outs there and he’s giving you some salt and he’s eating the Mets are going to have an influx of arms that all profile somewhat similar with a group of them of two three arms if not four where they’re kind of more that five five and dive around that area they have some plus stuff and they’re going to be looking to induce those ground ball outs or just to work those quick outs as well but they might have to piggyback especially if the Mets go at a six-man right now we all agree the Mets need more starting pitching and David Sterns knows that and David went in hand with what we’re working on making tells me all I need to know the Mets are not done adding to their rotation and they got at least one more key piece coming in Matthew Martell thank you so much for the donation Matthew says get paty on CU he was being hella insufferable towards Mets fans on X before stto sign oh he’s insufferable after the fact go look up Pat go look up Pat and the content that he’s come out with for better better is for those that don’t know um um uh Jake Paul’s company and it’s just bet check that out uh and his Tik Tok as especially it blew up of him just ranting and he’s just he’s doing it because he knows he he has to do it he has to continue to be the personality that he is but Pat was a good champ we actually had him on for briefly last night through FaceTime on the channel we’ll have him back on on the channel in the coming days to have you guys further rag on him we can eat up those Yankee tears and then uh further break down the L of of Mets land and go from there Matthew thank you for that donation though that that’s hilarious I appreciate that a lot Jacob puszi I appreciate the comment too thank you thank you let’s get into this now everybody uh we talked about David Sterns on the pitching end so now let’s see what Eddie Martino had to say this was on the Michael K show earlier today everybody for some context Eddie Martino on the Michael K show as of four hours ago it’s it is definitely possible that the Mets next move could be signing Walker be now that would get me hyped up I don’t have an issue with Walker beer do you guys have an issue with Walker beer I know I don’t let me see if I can pull out my berer stats there they are again inflated ear raid this past season we know how dominant he was down the stretch and postseason there for the LA dods in game five in the Bronx against the Yanks and the fact that that was wano’s last game as a Yankee ever in his career more than likely is chef’s kiss how you doing baby that is what we love to see Walker berer had that sweeper looking nasty that vo was up with the fast ball when he got the momentum and he certainly got the adrenaline pump in coming off at Tommy John surgery his seconde remov for from TJ I think Walker buer would be a tremendous short-term pickup for this Mets team in my humble opinion Edgar wow Edgar I don’t know what happened Edgar thank you so much for the donation Edgar you know what I’m going to say Edgar I’m gonna say this you talk [ __ ] I talk [ __ ] you took it to a chin you didn’t dip and you just donated you $20 Edgar this is what is so fun about the space that we’re in because even if we are rival fans’s Minds we’re somehow still brought together I love you Edgar thank you so much for that donation I just literally I just I’m I’m kind of inclined to use that $20 now the next time that my eyebrows get done and no I don’t go out of my way to get my eyebrows done I don’t know why some people think I’m grateful I like my eyebrows I never had an issue with them but when I get my eybrows done is no different than anyone else that gets them done when they’re at the barber I go to my favorite Barber I go to my guy Angel and it’s a completely uh it’s a completely Dominican and Puerto Rican Barber Shop it is perfect I’ve been going there for a very long time he chefs it up he cleans up the beard lines everything up nice he lines up the eyebrows nice he gets everything faded there from the hair into the beard he gets a nice fade whatever I want going on leaving the top a little bit messy usually and that’s how we do business Edgar thank you for the donation again I appreciate that I’m glad we can come together like that David Sterns we’d love to bring pet Alonzo back so again from the horse’s mouth himself and David Sterns he wants the polar bear back in Queens we appreciate that love to see that Paul Blackburn who had surgery repair spinal fluid leak is on track to be healthy and ready for opening day David Stern said he added that they view Blackburn as a starter but he can pitch out of the bullan if need be uh let’s see no not Angel Hernandez funny enough oh perfect he ain’t gonna mind he watches the content too shout out to my Barbara Angel uh his name is Angel Marte Yes you heard that correctly and he’s more of a fan of catel Marte than Starling Marte he’s a Mets fan believe it or not so I’m sure he’s pumped up about Juan next time I go and I need to get cleaned up soon by the barber he’s going to be very excited to talk about stto especially because some of the other Barbers there are Yanks fans so that makes it all that much better but yes his name is Angel Marte which is sick and he’s not a big starle Marte fan because he doesn’t like uh starling’s lack of being able to stay healthy which I understand to a degree big catel Marte fan though no relation to either of the two from my understanding at least uh Brandon thank you so much as always great member of a month love you wardy let’s hope this is the beginning of something special let’s get Alonzo back and lock at the F absolutely baby I could have said it better thank you so much for the endless support great member of 45 months of my man Juan Diaz yikes fans aren’t happy today lfgm exactly yiki fans are are certainly trying to get out of you know pling Marvin’s Room and you know hello darkness smil friend all day long with usm’s fans holy [ __ ] literally if if if I stub my toe incredibly hard today I wouldn’t care that’s where we’re at we’re feeling good we’re feeling very good good Klay holmes’ deal is Now official and I do want to touch on one little tibbit on the Yankees before we get into sha Mania here in a second this comes from Brian hos who does a very good job covering the Yanks Brian Cashman said the Yankees had a zoom call with Blake Snell then were told things were moving fast the Yankees declined to make an offer saying they couldn’t sign both Snell and SoDo by the next morning Snell was a do that right there is why Stein Brunner will always be a little brother to Steve Cohen for this foreseeable future that right there is why H St Runner even with throwing 760 at wotto will never be his father he will never be able to fill those shoes that right there is all you need to know I preached it time and time again you really think Yankees fans that if you brought back Juan stto that you’re going to properly make All the Right Moves to round out the team I don’t necessarily foresee that’ be the case why would you think that’ be the case again wanting to want stto back is as much about the player as it is about the impact it has in the market and the New York perception how care just as much if not more I would argue and bringing back a generational hitter as he did in the negative implications that he would have losing him to Steve Cohen and not only the media perception the market perception the player perception for the next 10 to 20 plus years guys coming out of Dr just players in general in the free agent and trade market at times I have some demands say because of modified trade Clauses there was so much on the line with stto leaving the Bronx the way that he did so Stein brother again he just said it right there you couldn’t bring in Snell and stto I promise you that the Mets could have brought in Snell and stto if they had the full interest there but they have a lot of interest and a lot of love in these shorter term options in the pitching market and I don’t blame them for that because I really think that they can continue to maximize value there as long as they aren’t riant on that every single year as that being the NLB all for the rotation you got to mix in having quality Aces and guys that give you Ace caliber performance consistently not betting on uncertainty at times the way that the Mets have but it’s worked in the case of guys whether that’s going to be and someone such as Sha manah whether that’s G to be someone such as uh Luis srino this past season just great examples there Matthew thank you so much for the donation we got to get eyebrow merch just wy’s eyebrows right I think that’s a great idea Matthew Martell with the five $5 holla says the Asos can’t keep regman what are the chances we swing an unexpected trade for Tucker if we traded for Kyle Tucker I I mean I I’ve already been losing my mind on stto that still hasn’t sunk in fully yet it really hasn’t if you throw in Kyle Tucker I mean just I mean I’m give me the Dodgers that give me the Dodgers right now Kyle Tucker is one of the most underrated players of Major League Baseball I would do un I would do unfathomable things if I could at all play an impact in a landing Kyle Tucker I’d give up the farm and then some for a Kyle Tucker holy [ __ ] and the thing is Kyle Tucker is an outfield option so it’s not like you’re in dire need for someone like him but the fact that if you could you have to consider it he’s so good but no I don’t I do not foresee the Mets to be going out of way for a Kyle Tucker trade at all in the near future even if Astros get somehow fire sale and if they lose bregman and if they’re like all right we’re going to trade Tucker whatever it’s going to be and kind of move on from there I don’t think they’re going to do that at all all right guys here’s the latest on sham manah for myy Martino what about manah what do you think he he could get on the open market well there he’s reportedly had interest at the four at the fouryear level and you know I’m picking up on some increasing optimism that there may be a reunion with the Mets Steve not nothing done or anything like that or close that I understand but uh towards the end of the season my read on this was if you’re the Mets the position might be we love Shawn we appreciate Shawn that market might outpace like where we would go on a starting pitcher but what the vibe I’m getting now is that they love him so much that they might be willing to stretch a little if someone comes in with five or six years for a pitcher in his 30s he’s probably going to that team but it it seems as if he and the Mets have remained in contact and have remained feeling pretty good about that so here sitting as a reporter trying to figure out what the Mets are going to do after Soo I’m looking at manah and seeing if that’s got some likes yeah we’ll see I mean it did oh I like that I like that a lot guys can we please bring back to Simone Southpaw it hurt enough losing sevy because not that sevie isn’t replaceable he obviously is and I think Frankie Montas is going to show you exactly how replaceable sevie can be as soon as next season but Shawn manah like sevie was such a tremendous Clubhouse character and The Dugout there with the OMG sign just always being extrovert like just tremendous teammates like the core that the Mets had from the rotation of their offense last year was so concise and such a tight-knit unit that that it’s really really hard to replicate that on a yearby year especially if you lose some significant pieces that help pave the way to make that happen for proper Clubhouse culture sha manah I think his value has a lot to do not only with his performance on the field but it also has to a degree what you’re getting off the field in The Dugout in the clubhouse and if he can continue to perform similarly to what we got there in that arm slot change looky more Chris SAS this past season for the next two or three years I would love that obviously manah wants a four plus year deal and I don’t blame him he’s going to be pushing 100 plus million dollars potentially but with the love that the Mets have for sham manah and increased optimism and him returning panie Martino of SNY through the winter meetings there in Texas you have to be feeling at least somewhat happy as a Mets fan right now and the potential of sha manah returning to this New York metropolitan team I would love to see it happen and if I’m being completely honest the part of we kind of expects it to happen now because maniah still fits the bill the Mets know that you know if if manah goes five six years I don’t see Shawn manah coming back right he’s already 33 34 years of age I don’t see a world where the Mets go farther and pushing you know into his late 30s like that they want sha manah to you know basically have a contract until he’s probably I’d imagine 36 37 years of age at Absolute oldest um and we don’t we don’t have any clue as to how Mani is going to grade out we just know we have a confidence and a level and a confidence level to an extent in our pitching lab and I think as long as this pitching lab continues to grow greatly and Trend upward the way it has is the same way that I think the Mets will be able to maximize get the best out of someone like the Simone South pwn sham manai himself should a reunion happen uh Dominic great memb says wardy what’s the chances that because we took SoDo from the Yankees that they may go scor sh and take Alonzo I mean listen things can happen but if you’re if you’re the Yankees I don’t think that you invest heavily in pet Alonzo I think that would be an improper pivot for them and I also don’t see it happening I just don’t you know like there was so many reasons to believe and understand why Juan soda made sense to go to the Mets you have to be blind and just truly an ignorant Yankee fan to suggest otherwise in the case of Alonzo Yankees fans will even tell you a lot of them don’t want him because again a lot of them are idiots and just look at the fact that oh he has a little bit of a belly oh he’s kind of a goof in the media so they don’t like him but the reality is he’s a tremendous homegrown Talent a tremendous home run hitter to pair with Aaron judge would be absurd but the Yankees need more athleticism in their lineup and they need I think honestly a short-term option at first base if they’re going to go there or a younger option in the trade market that has yet to really hit his full value I think I think that could be I think there could be something noted on that as well um but that’s all I got to say about Alonzo for now tingus thank you so much for the Talla I greatly appreciate that it really does mean a lot and that was lace there at least from Andy Martino let me double check on my uh notes here to make sure that I didn’t miss anything else I know I want to specifically touch on with you guys uh from some remarks that we’ve heard from Eddie and from others just as the winter meetings have been going on oh we do have some other things I actually want to know for each and every one of you that I’m going to do in a second let me pause that okay can we get get that paused there we go all right guys let’s get into a very unique move the Mets made today which I thought again was very unique also folks briefly we’ve heard this AR you Alexander sources Mets are M teams can showing interest and Alex bregman when we find a more credible Source in Ari Alexander I will then further break down Alex bregman but for right now that’s just smoke there’s so much fake news BS we all learned that throughout the woto sweep Stakes so take that with a grain of salt for now at most I’d say um let’s also check out here again the Mets are developing a rep as very welcoming to player families that’s something I emphasized in our video on stto earlier today that Andy Martino reaffirmed but listen guys the Mets sign today yui Seiko to a minor league deal this is really intriguing to me he’s a 25-year-old right-hander that posted a 3.23 eay and 92 strikeouts compared to just whopping 28 walks and 103 in 17 starts and two any Ball Teams this past season he also made two appearances there in the Mexican winter league furthermore on the pickup of the very unique here yui Seiko for this Mets uh you know minor leagues at minimum to see what he could provide for them he won 6 and3 with a 3.23 eay 92 strikeouts that we saw in the Atlantic and Frontier leagues this summer this is also a guy that from the notes I I’m pretty sure I have it somewhere here on UK let me see if I can find it yeah no he was playing for the New Jersey Jackal in independent ball this past year so similarly to how the Mets remember when they traded for Tyler Zuber around the traded line and what was a lesser reliever pickup that they picked up from the Tampa Bay Rays well Tyler Zuber who was a couple years removed from Major League Baseball get all the way back to the point that he was pitching there for yes we saw an indie ball there with the L Island Ducks he was pitching like Jackie Bradley Jr playing for the Long Island Ducks and then signing a minor league deal to play in Syracuse for the Mets as the same way now we see Japanese pitcher yui Seiko love the name as well playing for the New Jersey jackals which I know many of you guys have been in New Jersey jackals games there for any ball games really really cool story that we’re going to follow on to see how he progresses throughout the minor leagues this guy came out of literally nowhere so a wild card like him is fun he could get to nothing at the at the uh professional level beyond what he has done at any ball he could be dropped midseason by the Mets for all we know or this is a guy that can come in potentially start okay if he’s in any ball doing the stuff that he does I’d imagine that at lowest he’s going to find himself starting in double A if not Triple A and the Mets are going to see what they have in him as a potential pitching piece to consider at any point next season you know the reason why I want to talk about moves small and big especially the point of guys and who you never heard of literally ever probably and yui um uh Pard me yui uh Seiko here is that David Sterns has been very smart and Savvy and his moves small to big you cannot underestimate little like anything you cannot write off anything he does because for all we know this man could be eating some innings for the Mets at the halfway mark of the season and key crunch time games like you just don’t know anything can happen when it comes to some of these pickups so that is why I’m going to emphasize the latest signing for the Mets and yui Seiko here to a minor Le deal per Anthony Tacomo those were the latest moves there now let’s talk about some news that came out earlier today shout out to metsizer saw that they were one of the first I don’t know if they were the first but they were among the first because Michael Mayer has the sources there through Mets does a great job and we see the Mets are interested and reliever Jonathan Leisa now I too am interested in Jonathan Eliza quite a bit now let’s talk about Jonathan Eliza everybody let’s talk about why this would be an intriguing pickup for the New York Mets so they find themselves Landing the veteran right-hander now folks as we take a look at Jonathan ela’s numbers here this was from the 2023 campaign the last last time he had you know a solid sample size of the major league level he missed pretty much all of 2024 due to injury so he is a clear bounceback candidate early similar bounce back candid wise to what we just saw the Phillies pick up on a one-year deal today that being long time Toronto Blue Jay closer Jordan Romano Romano after dealing with ailment there and a lack of success in 2024 with the Blue Jays is now looking to Rebound in that Philly Bullpen there in the at East in the case of the Mets Jonathan Eliza would rekindle that relationship not only with Carlos Mendoza but to a greater magnitude Mets assistant pitching coach and Desi Drew score or drewell again I’m I don’t know which one is the proper pronunciation of his last name but what I do know is that that man has had a heavy emphasis on Pitch shape he’s worked really well with Yankees pitchers over the past couple years and he knows Alka really well so again F that familiarity rekindling that relationship similar to srino coming to uh rekindle that relationship with Mendo and others last year you can never go wrong and for any Yankee fans saying oh they want another Yankee hasman it’s less about a Yankee hasman and more about a confidence in our lab that we can get the best out of the guys the same way that the Yankees were not going to be able to figure out least srino all those years is the same way that the Mets got what 170 180 Innings out of him last season yeah we’re feeling pretty confident about our abilities to get the best out of players now going forward and the numbers are there again he has shown his consistency throughout his career to be a formidable option to say the least and tingus with the donation did you see Pat meltdown video on stto I did thank you for asking about that Matthew Martell thank you for the donation earlier Charles says Roki Sasaki is so intriguing due to the fact he’s going to be making practically the league minimum and he’s an ace he’s a unique circumstance very unique a unicorn type in his own way you know like the otanis like the Yamoto even SOS they’re just they’re all in their own class for respective reasons and we’ll get to Sasaki here after liiza in a second everybody because Jonathan Eliza throughout his career with the New York Yankees he’s been a dog when he’s been healthy but it’s about being healthy and that’s a big part of it right only fours this past season because of injury the 29-year-old going to be 30 should he sign with the Mets 17.2 Innings we saw in 2023 with a three-year Ray at 2.65 expected year Ray in 2022 the last time he had a solid sample size of 48 Innings we saw a 4.13 earray but a 3.46 expected earray 2021 where ELO really broke out with a north and 9 K per9 to two walks for n in 70 Innings a 2.17 array and a 2.18 expected array the expected numbers were ridiculous he was a 2.4 War player as a majority reliever there in that 2021 season just insane how good he was the year prior 3.52 eay similar similar peripherals there in the sh 2020 season 23 Innings so Ela again he only has 219 innings in his career since uh making his debut in 2018 that really isn’t a lot on the grand scheme of things but this is a guy that you can add into the mix for the Mets to consider you look at the pitch mix that you would be getting in someone named Jonathan Alaska which I think is really intriguing Sinker cball change Force Team guy sign me the hell up especially in the case of some someone in Jonathan alasa that Sinker usage would play Big Time at City Field and with David Sterns change up curveball for seam I think you could tap quite a bit in there to that four seam I think that that four seam pitch can really be a deadly one for Elka to pair with that Sinker if things are going right because to only have 6% usage of your for seam that sits 98 mph that just feels so wrong so so Rong by the Yankees I think the Mets can really get some untapped potential here out Jonathan Eliza so add him to the mix obviously being another formidable option for this Mets Bullpen add in and guys I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again the Mets are never signing Trevor Bower Trevor Bower will never be a New York Met in his career I promise you that and it has a lot more to do with how Bower slided the Mets in their negotiation three and a half years ago and then you add in all the allegations and you add in everything that’s gone on with bar over the past couple years again you have to be a thickheaded clueless fan to suggest that a guy and Trevor Bower is ever going to touch City Field as a player in a Mets uniform it is not going to happen and it started with those negotiations so miss me with the nonsense of oh he’s black Bal he’s this he’s that this goes well before even that started with him and his tenure with the LA Dodgers I noed in confidence with speaking with people within the Mets organization that they can confidently tell you you Trevor Bower would never see the light of day in a Mets uniform never going to happen the more you talk about it is the more it’s going to be noise and nothing more so I don’t know what else to tell you other than just pick up common sense at this point please doesn’t matter how much you want him it’s never going to happen let’s look at let’s look at Jonathan lka a little bit everybody let’s look at this man I like what I’m seeing you you let me know if you like what you’re seeing here nasty an Aussie Al to half fitting these are highlights from a couple years ago I will preface but it doesn’t mean that he can’t go out there and be a dog again he certainly can I know Sheamus you started watching from the bar watch many people did for sure absolutely and Jonathan wco what he would be able to bring to this met just nasty that he’s touching 100 if this vo is consistent coming back from his injury here uh should the Mets sign him coming out of spring training you have multiple lethal flame-throwing options again WKA and Holmes if Holmes does not work out as a starter and if he does awesome I I say bring back Ryan stanic obviously and I also say you got to bring in at least one crafty hopefully a dominant southp option because I know that they picked up the flyer there on uh what was um hesis Cabrera who throws gas as a lefty but they need a more formidable and a more trustworthy option in this bullet pen we all know that the Mets are inevitably going to be adding to this pen sooner rather than later the Mets are going to be good for a long time I know they are Tran I’m excited I guys Tanner Scott is awesome I don’t see a chance of now Tanner Scott is happening because I don’t see the Mets doing big overpays and Tanner Scott right now is going to be getting a big overpay with how the bullpen Market is right now he’s the he’s the sexiest South ball option for everybody he’s the most dominant um and he’s going to be looking for a bag Tanner Scott is probably looking for a contract if I had to assume similar to Kay Holmes if not greater like I could see a r War Tanner Scott reaches a contract that gets to a value of you know anywhere from 40 to 50 million like I don’t think that’s I don’t think that’s unprecedented if he signs like a a really big reliever contract with a team that’s really trying to hone down and get their guy I think in the case of Scott I would love him I think he would be fantastic for this Bullpen but I just don’t see it happening unfort Richard we’re doing the food tomorrow my man we’re going to do the Dr food tomorrow so I will let you guys know what I have tomorrow I’m probably going to do that breakfast that everyone says it’s not I don’t think it’s it’s not Mungo um it’s um it’s similar though right and it starts with an M I’m actually going to double check right now just for my tweets from earlier today when I ask people to give me their best um suggestions for Dominican food uh let’s see here mangu mangu with fried egg cheese and slimy that’s apparently the go-to um mango K salami is like essentially the same thing what people are saying Mungo obviously I’m not opposed to getting that uh but mangu it seems to be the go-to like that looks like a breakfast of champions pretty much so that feels like it might have to be the way to go early tomorrow to start my day so I’m going to try to make that happen if it happens I’ll send you guys a photo on X or I’ll show you later in the live stream or a video of what your boy had and I’m it’s I’m doing it strictly got to do it strictly for Juan has to be done has to be done I I’ve eaten plenty Puerto Rican food since incal Endor is become a met I got no problems there no problems there you know especially with with I have um family not blood related but I have family um that are are Puerto Rican as well so especially with the holidays making their empanadas making their rice just again just insanely good panal you can go down the list really really good stuff I’m loving it I’m love loving the chat guys you guys are awesome you really are but all right folks we talked about every key point that we’ve had to touch on to this point from the woto details to the latest on Sha manah to the latest also there that we have seen in the likes of Walker bu and also now Mr Jonathan Eliza so now everybody let’s talk a little bit more on the one the only the oh so dominant the oh so deadly Roki Sasaki let me just pull up his numbers for you guys that’s burns that’s adamus that’s piveta hold on that’s lazardo ber this got be susaki there we go all right Roki let’s talk about some Roi let’s talk about Roki susaki because what if I told you what if I told you I actually I like the Mets odds more than ever for Roki Sasaki again shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out especially given how dominant Roki suaki is but also the Mets just landed wodo so naturally my confidence is a little bit more instilled than what it otherwise would have been if the Mets didn’t land Wan SoDo and his Services um so Saki and this is a great point that I’d like to highlight for Michael Mayer so sasaki’s officially posted he has a 45-day window starting now leaning up to uh January 15th is one we’ll find out on the Deets on where he’s signing Buzz talk with a great donation thank you so much says what a great night last night you you’re awesome Breaking All the latest news thank you buzz talk love you my man I appreciate that long time follower here we need a lzo to protect SoDo what a Powerhouse lamp that would be londor pardon me londor stto Alonzo Nim Mo Vientos Alvarez yeah I like that a lot I really really do but thank you thank you again for that donation Buzz talk it really does mean a lot but as you guys can see there Roki Sasaki has been officially posted and what that also means according to Michael Mayer Mets reminder that teams can trade up to 60% of their original bonus pull money meaning the Mets can go from 6, 260,000 to over 10 million and they’re purs Aoki Sasaki let’s not to say the Mets F around a little bit and maximize her bonus pull money yes the Mets will have to do this and would have to decommit from Ellen PeΓ±a who is one of the most coveted infield prospects that’ll be getting a historic bonus by the Mets at over $5 million the Mets actually may consider deferring from him and going all in Roki suzaki because we have heard reportedly over the past couple of days that the Mets are like the alone East Coast team as of now that is going to be super aggressive in their pursuit of Roki Sasaki now that he’s posted now do I think Sasaki is destined to be LA Dodger more than anyone else absolutely I also will preface the Dodger fans though don’t be surprised if Roki suaki lands with the San Diego Padres I know it’s easy to be a cocky Dodger fan when everything things went your way this past year I get that but there’s a lot of reasons to believe that Roki Sasaki has the solid chance of Landing with the Padres and part with you Darvish AJ PR being absolutely Relentless and the difference in sasaki’s Impact with San Diego versus what he would be with the daughters for the rotation Sasaki would be the ace he would be the front line for the daughters he would essentially be your number three and Viewpoint from Otani to Yamamoto to Roki not that Roki can’t necessarily say be the best of the three at his absolute best but it’s the fact that the spotlight would be different how much does that matter to Roki Sasaki will be indicative of his decision that he makes this offseason simply put folks we would love Roki Sasaki in this Mets rotation he would quite literally do wonders and he’s one of those guys I honestly think that if you add Roki saki to perro kodai senga to help him get regimented there even if they continue with a six M rotation I just think that’s so much good and I think for Sasaki too the same way that stto is coming to Queens is essentially the face Sal with Lindor as the way that suaki can come in and be the face of the rotation right away yes s is here but Sasaki would be the face of the rotation for the foreseeable future and he fits a short and longterm bill so all I will say everybody is the same way that we never thought in a million years that we were going to see someone like that being in shotani get to 700 million we thought 600 was what it was going to take a little than seven Soo 800 million what do all these things have in common there are things that you didn’t necessarily have expected some tricks up the sleeves of these teams is the same exact way that you should be prepared for any and all outcomes for Roki Sasaki and other players this off season now folks again as I reiterate we have touched on every key detail regarding the Mets and the meetings to this point should further details inevitably come out later tonight after we’ve been live here I will either come out with a further video that’ll drop late tonight or that’ll come out sometime tomorrow should key news happen because again it’s night one of winter meetings I expect something to happen as soon as tonight or sometime fairly early tomorrow I really think that we’re going to um have some quick traction and busy winter meetings over the next couple days here but as we talked about the winter meetings and we talked about all these things now let me get to answering your comments questions and concerns I really appreciate appreciate that and know the hopes aren’t up at all at all show we got wanto you got to understand that the Mets could do little moves the rest of the offseason I’d still be ex stack heading into 2025 I would truthfully I I think this team right now could go out toe-to-toe and surprise people I think we have enough in-house options to rectify the bullpen where it wouldn’t be the worst in baseball but I understand why you want more certainty in the pen before we head in the season I agree you got to add the Bullen still got to round out the rotation um figure out the depth of your offense there from the bench and anything else that you play to do and then you take it from there but what’s realistic for Sasaki I mean again he’s going to get anywhere 7 to10 million on his contract is what it’s going to be um and then you would have him under team control for anywhere I think it’s around five years and oh my God crazy timing Eddie in the chat says yeah it’ be right around five years so there you go uh there is no word on the announcement however for Juan stto on when the pressure is going to be when we find that out we will surely cover it right away and folks before I now take the time for the next 5 10 plus minutes answer whatever comment question you guys got my way please make sure to smash that like And subscribe Buton if you haven’t already help us get to 350 likes at any point in the live show be greatly appreciated my replay viewers if you guys could help us get that boosted 450 to 500 maybe even six if we’re really lucky that would really mean a lot just know that I appreciate it and thank you guys so much for helping us hit 29,000 subscribers all thanks to the one and only one SOA we are officially 1K away from the big Plateau the next big Domino of 30k it feels like yesterday we hit 10,000 on the channel CH and when we hit 10K I was like oh my God that’s insane now we got to get a 20 we hit 20 I looked at that I said oh my God that’s insane we got to get a 30 H we’re so close to 30 hit those buns everybody we got you covered with consistent Mets coverage every single day here in waran wayam Juan Diaz with the $5 donation thank you so much Juan says Tommy John Otani walk everybody stale and tyor class arm great rotation dog fan nervous Juan I love the donation and I love the optimism I think we’re ragging on the Ron Beast right now daughters have enough arms to essentially have two rotations of guys that could play up in any rotation Major League Baseball the problem is a lot of those arms are injury Riddle so how do they Faire next season we’ll find out I know Blake Snell will be a huge piece into why they have a Deep Run come their pitching performance-wise and postseason play the Dodgers let let’s play this way the Dodgers replaced Walker beer with Blake sell at the Dodgers land any other key starters will have replaced said starter with that bean and Jack flarity so if bu’s out Snell’s in if Flare’s out and one of Max Street or Corbin Bruns are in it’s a it’s guys it’s a complete All-Star rotation let’s not act stupid here it’s a really good rotation probably the best in baseball we understand that injuries inevitably happen that’s true but still all right guys what questions you got for me let’s break it down you want talk Mets you want questions answered you want remarks answered what whatever your thoughts are on the Mets that you’d like already to break down or answer for you guys over the next 5 10 minutes relay now and I would happily get to as many as I can to the north of a thousand viewers watching this live at a replay what is the big updates oh my goodness we we’ve covered all them big updates Juan stto contract details latest on Walker buer as he’s potentially the next move sha manah increasingly more likely more optimistic on his turn Roki Sasaki officially posted the Mets made a very intriguing 25-year-old Japanese right-hander Moder League signing today that being at yui and I’m going to butcher the last name again so let me actually double check where it is uh yui Seiko okay yui Seiko I’m got to remember that yui Seiko okay and all the other things that we talked about there’s been a lot there’s been a lot how do I feel about bregman not really all that interested unless you know the Mets are clearly linked heavily there and they want to move Vientos out a third found the channel last night Simone very happy to hear that Simone or Simon however you pronounce your name I’m happy to have you thank you so much really appreciate that we’re we’re we’re trying our best here we really are AJ John appreciate you guys as always let’s go up here Wy did I curse too much on your live I hope your um monetization wasn’t throttled heck I appreciate no you’re good you’re good so it’s actually a funny question so a funny comment rather when you curse on YouTube yes there is an aspect of demonization but it really is Amplified depending on the aspect of how you’re cursing what you’re saying and the context of it in the case of what you were doing and how the show was going yeah there was nothing to worry about I would say next time pump the brakes a little bit on just like suck my you know what just for the sake of we have viewers ranging of all ages but I mean what you were trying to get across though I think you nailed it and I would love to have you back as a reoccurring caller hecta you were electric I was I couldn’t get over it it was hilarious it was so good um love you oh thank you so much Keith I appreciate that thank you you thank you Simon not Simone noted sounds great Simon okay let’s see here um what do I prefer sha Walker beer uh pardon me Sean Walker beer or trade out of those three options that’s tough because what’s the trade option right if the trade option is gar crochet then smack me silly and say okay let’s get that trade done I I want that right away outside of Pete what are other bats you can see the Mets trying to get a reunion of Jose glacius and and you know outside that the bat it’s a huge uncertainty with the bat thing because the Mets really don’t need to add a lot of more on the offens of I don’t think the Mets are going to be adding a bat bigger than Tyrone Taylor and Jose Siri for center field to start the season I think that’s our center field tandem to start the year because Jose Siri backs up stto unbelievably well in right field and for all the idiots out there too that said oh but Jose Siri and want stto talk smack to each other last year they can’t be teammates come on just what are we doing here see me with Willie Damas as well it’s cracking me up a Willie Damas and Jesse Winker and I love for Jesse to return I think Jesse needs to come back for Vibes alone and then he’s still a very good player especially if he’s in a limited role I think that absolutely should happen and I love for it to happen but whether it will happen or not is yet to be seen because as of now the Mets have Brandon nmo Tyron Taylor Jose Siri staly Marte and Juan stto they have five outfielders right there if you want to qualified Jeff mcneel you got six are the Mets really going to go out of their way to add anything more there they will if they have more moves up their sleeve potentially on the roster that is where it would make sense especially if they decide to salary dump and trade Jeff mcneel for example which I don’t think that they’re you know chomping a bit to do especially with the strong second half last year you know injury aside I I do think though that mcneel is a guy that could be on the outside looking at no l we don’t reference Scoops here he doesn’t have sources we’re not doing that [ __ ] yoshima with the $2 donation for some reason I see Mets getting Luis Castillo I would love that and I think that that would be a really formidable option threeyear $75 million deal is what is left there of his contract 25 mil a se’s getting paid just over 22 mil a by the Sacramento Athletics for a couple M more per year for three years why wouldn’t you take an ace cber starter and a trade like that I would do it scoop sting get soda right he threw it out that he was going to the Mets he’s the same guy who had many things of the Mets wrong over the years stop it um it’s me pet Alonzo prod sounds good wano prod I I understand the name change my didn’t making high blood pressure took over bro you’ll be at 50k in a couple months I don’t see that happening Buzz talk but I I appreciate the optimism I do thank you so much for that uh let’s see Harrison you’re tagging me in [ __ ] right now that I know it doesn’t matter again there’s mutual interest between Alonzo and the Mets to get a deal done again that feels like Common Sense still does it not Am I Wrong Am I Wrong for saying that again I expect let’s put it this way everybody I expect Peter Lonzo to be signed by the Mets by the end of the week like by the end of Sunday throwing it out there right now going to call right now I think the Mets are going to sign aonzo this week I think they’re going to land another starter I think they’re going to land another believer my educated guess is that David Sterns makes at minimum three and at maximum five moves this week with potentially more there’s plenty coming for this Mets team very fast Buckle the hell up you thought Wan soda was it no no no no no no no no no we’re just getting started we’re just getting started exactly ju and why would they you know I mean it makes no sense to stop short and now trying to be a peral cont right it it would be very silly for them to stop short of that um Alexis thank you so much for the $2 H I would trade batty and Jeff for pitching I mean I don’t disagree with you let’s see what kind of pitching we can get for that kind of thing uh yoshima the Taha thank you so much and give me one second um for some reason I see Mets gang Castillo that is right thank you so much ver Valdez from the Astros if he’s available and that is something that could be had Valdez is a crafty Lefty that I think be so sick in this rotation that would be awesome playoff performer has had no nose even in like postseason play the guy knows exactly what it takes to win in this in this Mets pitching lab I think would be insane but folks I would like to thank you all so much for watching live on a replay it really does mean a lot I’m going to get out of here because we’re over an hour into this and if news is going to happen tonight I don’t know exactly when it’s going to happen so it could be a while from now so until we find out more news on the Mets to break down in a live or reoccurring V uh reur curing video that is going to be it for your guy wardy Juan SOS and met Rejoice enjoy it don’t let anything bother you today W sto and met when we are back we will have more new updates we will have more reports and hopefully more signings will breakdown for each and every one of you thank you guys so much for watching love you all to death and
