hey what’s up everybody a quick battle video today and we’re bringing back the goat the greatest of all time 2023 tops update hanger boxes this is my favorite product literally of the past 3 four years uh the 2023 update Hangar boxes were the most incredibly loaded like set of that I can ever remember uh 20122 update was pretty good but that was mainly because of the rookie class 2023 update was incredible but every single like this product got discounted everywhere because the rookie class wasn’t real great I chased this product anyways because of gunar Henderson adley Rutman uh Corbin Carroll all their rookie debut cards were in here what do I care if it’s a rookie a true rookie or a rookie debut it’s still a rookie card so I bought a ton of this we opened multiple cases of this on the channel since we have a lot of new people by the way we’re putting them up against 2024 this year’s update since we have a lot of new people uh here recently I want to show you some of the hits that I’ve gotten out of 2023 update we pulled two of these not one two Nolan Ryan autographs I sold one and decided to keep the other one that was an amazing pull we pulled this Anthony vulpi from the same case on-card rookie Auto from a 2023 update hanger box we pulled one of probably one of our best hits in Chann history a nine of 10 Ronald aunia Matt Olen dual patch event worn Allstar Relic dual Auto dual patches nine of 10 crazy pull we pulled a Bobby wit Jr rookie card blue color match this card is one of my favorite cards that I own just for the look of it and then uh that was pre- Channel I believe and so was this one this was before the channel adley Rutman Topps Black Gold rookie card numbered to 10 six of 10 so just incredible pulls constantly from 2023 update and I mean what are the odds we pull something like that in this video probably not pretty good but I thought I’d show the new people how good these can be especially because these can be discounted they they were discounted so much at David Adams that I bought two cases of hangers and two cases of blasters cuz they were like $450 they were essentially giving them away so it’s been one of my most favorite sets ever so we’re doing five of these 2023 is against five of the 202 24s technically we probably could do 10 of the 2023 updates against the 2024’s because of the price differential on the secondary Market however I don’t have 10 hanger boxes of 2023 remaining these are the last five that I have so uh we’ll just make do and we’ll just do a straight up five versus five all right there’s Francisco Alvarez rookie debut we’re going to have a blue in here first we got a Joey wymer I I think I’ve pulled his Gold Card his gold rookies like a million times out of the set it feels like he was really loaded up in the hanger boxes this is out of 2023 so 1169 of 2023 put that up there we’ll keep the 2023 stuff on the right and on the left we’ll do the 2024 we have have Carlos kareah and Miranda on the blue here’s a nice one this was one of the rookies I was chasing from the set when I was opening it Grayson Rodriguez mainly I was chasing him in the blasters because of the holiday parallel versions of this but I collected Grayson Rodriguez for a while and still do have some of his cards that I held on to perza vulpi Bieber and ohpp stars in action Stars Jazz Chisum and Kai SGA on the 88 parallel see if we can get some there’s a trout and Chapman let’s see if we can get some Gunners Ben Joyce he’s an okay rookie in this set I think he’s got a bright career as a relief pitcher there’s Brett batty not sure about him yet and that’s all she wrote for hanger box number one all right over to 2024 see if we can pull another uh Paw Patrol it was crazy when we pulled that Paw Patrol the last one that we pulled which was not in that sealed case cuz obviously that sealed case was somewhat of a mistake but um we pulled one from a GameStop hanger box which I believe all of these ones are Colt Keith base rookie there’s shohi imaga there’s Colton cower Ellie De La Cruz rookie debut nice one there all right jiren Duran is going to be the All-Star insert Evan Carter it’s a nice parallel so Evan Carter rookie debut rainbow foil I think we pulled this one before it’s a nice one puts 2024 in the lead that’s for sure L garri autumn TS and here’s the big difference so the big difference with 2024 if you’re new here again as opposed to 2023 they started putting guaranteed parallels in here so um that’s a big advantage to the 2024 side Tony Kemp jerks and profar there’s shohi on the 89 insert it’s a very popular insert then we got Simeon Riley Paul skin on the St be and Gavin Williams pretty good start on both sides hanger number two for 2023 it is crazy to me that some of my biggest pulls of my entire life came from a set that was just massively discounted like it’s just so crazy all right looks like we got a blue in here and a couple inserts couple of Matt mv’s that was weird that was a double Coalition there’s Grayson Rodriguez base rookie Corbin Carroll is one of the rookies we’re looking for turned around Freddy Ferman that’s going to be to 9999 and that is a blue rookie color match Freddy Ferman numbered retail blue Jeff lingren and Brian ho for the Marlins perza vulpi Bieber and ohappy here’s a really nice card here time spanning tandems and that is shohi and Nolan Ryan put that down put shoh Nolan Ryan up there that’s a very popular card Mike Trout 88 so a really good start there he is gunar Henderson base rookie base rookie debut I should say Grayson Rodriguez rookie debut Matt mlan he’s one of the better rookies from the 2023 set over to 2024 s Frick Jason Dominguez rookie debut there he is Paul skin base rookie take that one Jordan Beck and Jordan Westberg Zack gof Jackson holiday and Evan Carter great box for rookie Keys here Paul sk’s combo card Black Gold is going to be Jordan Lawler rookie yellows Matt th and Luke rley Colt Keith on the 89 Gavin Williams Matt Chapman Jackson holiday Austin Wells okay we got three hangers left on each side so so far it’s close but I would give it I would give the edge to the 2024 side close though and if you’re going price per dollar 2023 smashes as usual something’s a little sticky there there we go Cole Reagan’s rookie he’s one of the rookies I was looking for in this set m Harris also has his rookie debut in here all right turned around card is to 799 rookie combos Nick vespie and Logan Gillespie for the Orioles another numbered card our third one here’s a nice card here gu started a PC of Mason Miller rookie debut blue it’s a nice pull we got a combos rainbow foil Corbin Burns and conteras stars of MLB green Grom outman and Walker here’s an all Aces speaking of popular inserts Walker ber that is a regular all Aces if it was a blue parallel the black would be blue or the the back would be blue if it’s a black parallel the back would be black and you’d also see a numbered but nice Walker be and Riley green 88 rookie Casey Schmidt okay over to 2024 [Music] in baseball news yesterday I saw Max freed went to the Yankees so that is a big time get for the Yankees Max Freed’s been a really good pitcher for the Braves for a while there’s rafhaela Jared Jones Ellie and jrod Jackson Merill deut Jared Jones again Kade Smith all right we got a numbered card to 999 Paul SK wow there’s a nice one it’s a ve it’s a combo card but still Paul sk’s numbered card coming out of 2024 332 of 999 on the vet combos skin rookie card this card has a little bit of a something going on here like a little line almost like it was just about to be bent it looks very strange you can almost see it I’m trying to get it in the light for you but nice Paul sches anyways Martin Perez Martin Perez rainbow foil let him cook mooki Gavin Stone and arales Chapman are the yellows and 89 Jordan Lawler cherio Chanel Rutman and Tolson stars of M be all right two hangers left on each side well I think the 2024 side pretty firmly in the lead here now with that skem card but don’t ever count this set out that’s for sure Joey Ortiz Hunter Brown Bryce terang Mason Miller Pas quentino the turned around card is Matt Moore to 799 that is going to be a purple lot of numbered cards out of 2023 allstar game Freddy Freeman rosarina Peña Strider and uh Rodan Roger Clemens and Garrett Cole time spanning tandems and Gavin Stone 88 rookie Ben Joyce Brett batty vulpi Logan Oh hoppy and that’s all she wrote for that hanger all right 2024 still have not pulled the Paul skin yet yellow been dying to pull that so I can sell my aqua and just keep the yellow as a nice color match for the old collection but all the hangers I’ve opened have not gotten it yet Colt Keith and show we back there Colton cower Ellie our second base Ellie Austin Wells okay to 999 blue Jorge palano numbered card there mystical Jazz Chism oh Pirates Henry Davis rookie debut yellow that’s a great color match there and Matt saour yellow Eddie Murray is the 89 and the Stars M be simy and Riley Paul SK again and Gavin Williams all right last box on each side see if 2023 got anything left my last this is kind of a sad day for me my last five of these hanger boxes at one time I had like 150 hanger boxes of these in my house just as soon as I saw that sale I’m like well looks like I’m spending all my money on these and this is the last one good we’re going to finish with an all Aces we’ll take that we got a Jordan Walker Zack Neato Michael Harris debut there’s Grayson Rodriguez and Corbin Carroll again Bryce terang turned around card is wow look at this pull masataka Yoshida rookie debut green foil that’s a really nice pull there 246 of 499 dang I wasn’t expecting that so a really really solid rookie debut Yoshida has been a really nice player All-Star game lordis scel we got a turned around card and that is going to be Alex vessia rainbow foil stars of MLB Peña Strider rodon and Nola Roger Clemens all Aces and we finished with a jrod cup card 88 not bad at all man these every single time I open these five hanger boxes we got one two three four we got five numbered cards so at least one numbered card per box plus some really nice inserts as well all right last box of the rip [Music] Mason win rookie debut Kyle Harrison Kade Smith gelof holiday and Carter again Jordan Lawler Marte back okay turned around card wow to 76 you know what that is my favorite parallel independent stay parallel Seth Lugo former New York Met Seth Lugo look at that Independence Day parallel I had a random thought the other day you guys know that uh we opened we’ve opened a lot of Stadium Club on the channel That jiren Duran card where he’s got the American flag behind him boy put that picture in this set with the Independence Day parallel that would be the best nice pull there for the 2024 side Tyler glaz now All-Star Game mystical tatis oh they did it to me again I saw a pirate I saw a pitcher but it’s still a good pull Jared Jones rookie debut yellow color match so we got Henry Davis and Jared Jones but no skines and another rookie ryel Blanco mukie bets we pulled his let him cook earlier here’s his 88 or excuse me 89 then we finish with Curtis me Anthony Rizzo Juan stto and imaga on the Stars MB well I think clearly the 2024 side got the win but that’s let’s keep in mind those are $1 13 to15 per hanger box for those 2024’s the 2023 is at one point you were able to get them for between $6 and $8 like $7 so if we’re going by just straight up sure the 2024 side probably won if we’re going by per dollar if you added five more 2023 update hangers I bet you that it would overtake this um if if you doubled them and that’s pretty much what it is with the price so keep that in mind but that was fun I knew that battle would be fun I’ve been saving the those 2023 hanger boxes have been staring at me at my house for months uh just waiting to do this video so I’m glad to
