The Hurricanes (15-10-1-1) enter on a three-game winning streak after earning a 2-1 win against the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday. Miguel Marques and Chase Petersen scored in the win while Jackson Unger made 17-saves. Lethbridge enters with an 11-2-1-0 record on home ice this season sitting second in the WHL in home victories.
The Rebels (14-12-1-2) enter on a two-game losing streak after suffering a 3-0 shutout loss on Saturday in Swift Current against the Broncos. The Rebels were outshot 45-30 in the contest as Chase Wutzke made 42-saves in the defeat. It marked the fourth shutout loss of the season for Red Deer and their third in the last nine games. Red Deer enters with a 5-10-0-2 record on the road this season.
Tonight will be the fourth of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Rebels; Lethbridge has posted a 2-1-0-0 record against Red Deer this season having posted a 1-0-0-0 record at home in the season series.
