[Music] what’s up everybody welcome back to another edition of K cards baseball thanks for joining me this morning it was actually Saturday morning where I’m at hopefully you all are doing well out there wherever you might be today we are doing another new release video and we’ll be talking specifically about 2024 Bowman Bast one of the Premier Products that does come out during the year in the Bowman line and it is always a fairly highly anticipated set it normally comes out shortly after Bowman Draft because this product does also feature most of the top players that were drafted in the previous year’s draft in 2020 4 so this will have guys like Travis bisana and Jack keg Leon and most of the top 10 players that were in the draft but they do release this product after Bowman Draft so these top draft picks won’t have Bowman first cards in this set their Bowman first cards was in The Bowman Draft set the unique thing about Bowman best is it does have a very small checklist of a total of 100 players 70 of which are the current and rookie players and the other 30 are the top prospect players so guys that haven’t made it to the major league level as of yet so we’ll feature not only the top draft picks but also the top prospects in the minor league levels that might potentially be called up during the upcoming season so it does give you kind of a window into what to expect for the upcoming season as far as players that will be called up so it does Spotlight all of the game’s top performers at all levels this product went on pre-sale on November 21st and hobby boxes were $299.99 on pre-sale this product only comes out in the hobby box format the checklist rundown young Talent takes the lead in 2024 Bowman best including a selection of future stars we’ll talk more about some of those future stars in a minute the base set and parallel details veterans rookies and Prospects fill out the main series of 2024 Bowman best here’s a look at the base Jason Dominguez card a really nice looking card here Bowman best is always of the highest quality and is really a pretty flashy and colorful set typically but really nice cards I don’t know if I put it along the same lines of cosmic Chrome but it kind of has that feel a little bit with the amount of color that we do get on the cards I would probably compare it mostly to Tops finest that is the set that I think about most when I look at Bowman best it is really a highly desirable set color and Rarity combined via the refractor rainbow for all 100 cars new parallels include the purple modju refractors the 250 blue refractors to 150 yellow laser refractors to 75 and the black refractors to 10 we’re going to talk more about the parallel list in a minute I did create a spreadsheet that goes over all of this information so I’m not going to go over it here they do have a new list of Bowman inserts the new inserts this year are best Ballers and Bowman showpieces besides the best Ballers and showpiece inserts they have die cuts of fabled phenoms which are one in six packs and impact players one in every tce this is a diecut fabled Phenom card of Roman Anthony the guy that I actually have picked as being the number two candidate for rookie of the year next year behind Jason Dominguez in the American League if you haven’t checked out that video yet where I cover the top three Rookie of the Year candidates in both the American and National League I highly encourage you to go and check out that video it is pretty good content I think I put it out like a week or so ago go they’re also 1955 Bowman anime noted as limited and 2024 majorly baseball Allstar Futures game cards which are one in every 30 packs that is new this year and we’ll talk a little bit about that Strokes of gold is a new super short print averaging one in every 288 packs I don’t have an example of what those Strokes of gold cards look like but I’m sure that they were pretty nice car 2024 Bowman best baseball offers a large lineup of autographs with four expected per box that is better than what it was last year last year you only got three autographs per box so that is a good thing that Bowman best is doing this year but we’ll take a little bit more Deep dive into this when I get to the spread sheet for Bowman best look for top rookies and prospects in the best of 2024 autographs line here is a walker Jenkins autograph card if one of you guys out there does buy Bowman best baseball and you pull this particular card let me know because we are going to have to do some negotiating I would absolutely love to have this card it is really a nice card of Walker Jenkins I’m still looking for that Walker Jenkins autograph card I might try and pick it up at the national next year but we’ll talk about the national in future videos to come there are also autographed inserts for select names as well like best baller autographs Bowman showpiece autographs to 99 Fable Feen knobs and the impact player autographs here is an impact player autograph card of Jackson chrio again a really nice card Bowman best has been around for a long time I remember collecting Bowman best cards back in the ’90s and it is always been a really nice set as you can see from the looks of these cards multiplayer autograph collectors have dual autographs number to 75 triple autographs to 75 quad autographs to 75 plus family tree dual autographs and family tree triple autographs also new is the allstar Futures game autographed Relic cards which covers Elite prospects with game used memorabilia look at this Dylan Cru Allstar Futures game autograph relic card and it looks to me like they you’re doing a little bit of a takeoff on the major Le debut patch card because that product has been really hot so it looks like that they are up in their game a little bit with the autograph relics of the top prospects in the game and this is a good example of it with this Dylan Cruz this actually looks like it is a sticker Auto as opposed to an on-card auto it doesn’t tell me on the this spreadsheet at all whether or not that these cards are going to be sticker or on card autos and looking at the configuration it is the same as what it was last year where you get five cards per pack and 12 packs per box and eight boxes per case the hobby boxes as I mentioned earlier does contain four Chrome autographs that is one better than what it was last year and currently on pre-sale on eBay the hobby boxes are selling for between 400 and4 and $480 the cases are selling for about $ 3500 I would imagine that these prices will be fairly similar to what we’re seeing with Chrome update where they might very well increase once the release comes out on December 27th probably not to the level that update has because those Major League debut patch cards and that Paul skes major Le debut patch I don’t think we’ll see the hobby box prices double but I could see them settle in around $600 for a hobby box we’ll have to see that is yet to be determined and looking at the check list is going to feature all of the top players in the game from this past year as well as the top rookies Mike Trout leads us off at number one but the top rookies in the set are going to be Colton cower at number 10 Jackson holiday at number 13 sha and monicaa number 16 Ellie is number 20 we got Cole Keith at 28 we got yoshinobu Yamamoto at number 34 Jackson chos number 38 we’ve got Jason Dominguez at 44 Paul SK is number 53 Jackson Marl is number 56 we’ve got Junior Camero at 62 and we have white Langford at number 65 so that is a look at the base checklist the top prospect checklist is a total of 30 cards and it does feature all the top draft picks from the 2024 draft as well as the top minor league players so you do have Samuel basalo in here Roman Anthony who we talked about earlier Kyle teal another Boston Red Sox the Red Sox are absolutely stacked with top prospects in the game this year we also do have one of the top draft picks Jack keg Leon Walker Jenkins is number 11 Luis anal aunia is number number 13 Leo Dev is number 18 Travis bazana the number one draft pick in the 2024 draft is number 21 and Chase burns the number two draft pick in the 2024 draft is number 28 and rounding out the prospect list is Dylan Cruz probably the pick for Rookie of the Year in the National League is Dylan Cruz the best Ballers a gra inserts is a total of 11 cards Dylan Cruz leads it off we do have Jack keg Leon Jackson holiday Jackson Merill Leo Dev Max Clark Paul skin Travis bazana Walker Jenkins again if you find that Walker Jenkins let me know and Wyatt Langford on the end the 2024 autograph checklist is a total of5 cards I’m not going to go through a deep dive on this because it does feature all the players that we have just talked about and then some the showpiece autograph checklist is nine cards and it is simmer to the best Ballers Dylan Cruz leads it off Jason Dominguez James wood is in here and he isn’t in the best Ballers set Mike Trout is in here Paul SK and Walker Jenkins again rounds out the showpieces autograph checklist the fabled phenoms autograph checklist is a total of 21 cards you have Ethan solaceon here Coulson mcgomery Colt Emerson Kyle teal Roman Anthony and Tommy Troy the family tree dual autographs looks like a really cool set because it does have some really cool dual autographs in here starting off with the yunas Ronald and Lis onal you have Jackson and Jason chrio Roger Clemens and Cody Clemens Father and Son Father and Son Duo of of Prince and cesil fielder skipping down to the allstar Futures game auto relic cards does feature all of the top prospects in the game currently cam Collier Cooper Pratt Coulson mcgomery Drew Jones Ethan Solace Kyle teal Max Clark Marcelo Meyer Samuel basalo Spencer Jones and Xavier Isaac rounds it out I will probably be chasing that Xavier Isaac card down the road I’m a huge Xavier Isaac fan we also do have the insert checklist we do have the anime checklist which features Yos shama Moto Paul sha and Monica Wyatt Langford and gunar Henderson I’m not going to go through each one of these insert checklists we’re going to talk about that here in a minute when we roll over to the spreadsheet so that is a look at the checklist before we roll over to the spreadsheet I do want to toss out the quick reminder that let’s roll over to the spreadsheet I did a comparison from last year to this year the configuration from last year to this year is the same the price that I used as current prices 20123 current price on eBay is 263 for a hobby box and on pre-sale on 2024 is $299.99 however it is currently at around $ 44450 on eBay as we saw earlier the price per card currently is at $438 at $263 in box for last year and $5 per card at that $300 price however again we do know that prices for this year’s product is going to increase once the releas date comes up largely due to the strength of the checklist this year over last year and looking at the parallels there is a little bit of a difference as far as the pack odds on the parallels from last year to this year there isn’t a major difference in some of the higher number parallels however there is a fairly significant difference on some of the lower number parallels I think the major difference this year to last year is because they did insert three three new parallels this year over last year this year they do have the purple Mojo number to 250 the blue xfractors to 150 the yellow lasers to 75 and the blacks to 10 so again I think that that is why there is a difference in the pack odds this year over last year and that is why you see all red over here on the 2024 side where it really makes a difference is on the lower number parallels for example the golds last year were one in 130 packs this year they’re one in 140 the oranges last year were one in every 259 this year they’re one in every 279 the Reds last year W in every 648 packs this year that number has doubled to one in every 1,390 packs the supers last year W in every 6,377 this year they’re one in every 705 and looking at the inserts this year over last year the chances of getting inserts this year are a little bit better than what they were last year even though the inserts sets have changed from last year to this year last year the astral projections I did compare that to best Ballers this year the astral projections last year one in every 12 packs this year the best Ballers are one in every six the real to Reels in comparison to show pieces last year were one in every 24 this year the one in every 18 and the die cuts of the prospects last year it was called shellack this year it is die Cuts last year the shellacs were one in every 12 this year the die cuts are one in every six the new insert this year is impact so we don’t have a comparison from last year to this year however the impacts are going to be one in every 12 packs this year another major change is the autographs last year you got an autograph one in every four pack this year is one in every three so last year you got three autographs per hobby box this year you get four autographs per hobby box so that might be another reason why there is a difference in the parallels year over-year that’s a look at 2024 bow inest let me know down in the comments section
