um look let’s move across to Northwest to Liverpool because of course their season is going considerably better um with new people in as well but do they have players well they do have players don’t they with contract issues at the moment what are we where are we on that front do you feel yeah my information has been very consistent in that regard and that is that talks remain ongoing between Liverpool and the representatives of Muhammad Salah Virgil Van djk and Trent Alexander Arnold to give them new contracts the dialogue I’m told has been very positive it’s been moving forward it’s been held in a very respectful man uh manner from all sides because ultimately Liverpool want to do right by the players but also on the club themselves now it’s been very apparent that Salah and Van djk want to stay at Liverpool they’ve actually been unequivocal about that and some ‘s comments to the Press actually underlines his desire of how much he wants to stay at Liverpool he loves the city his daughters go to school here he’s not wanted to change he wants to be a Liverpool Legend and continue smashing all the records that he himself has been setting same with van dijk it’s been very clear that he wants to continue leading Liverpool forward now the contrast is with Alexander rald who obviously has huge interest from Real Madrid in securing him and he’s comments recently about wanting to win the bendor that’s very much singing from that Real Madrid H sheet that’s their sales pitch to players if you want to win the ball andal this is the club you come and do it at so it’s obvious that with Trent it’s going to take a lot more elbow grease it might be a lot more expensive to get that deal over the line given his age given what he means to this club as an academy graduate as well he’ count as pure profit on the books so a bit more of a complex situation there but you know what you get the sense that with van djk and Salah wanting to stay with a club wanting to find that solution that there might be a lovely little Christmas present Liverpool supporters will be hoping and I’ve seen a lot suggesting that you could see van djk in front of the Christmas tree again as a replica of his Instagram post when he signed in December 2017 [Music]
