the skill is insane like I’ve definitely never played with anyone the skill level that people have yeah there’s a lot of talented forwards for sure so I can’t really complain who I’ll play with um I’ll definitely learn a lot from them and hopefully get some good chemistry with whoever I play with organization everything’s new um so many new staff members teammates um they’ve all been super welcoming and um I feel really lucky to be here and part of such a great group I want to get in battles but I know Blair and I were both good at winning one-one battles too and coming out of Corners with Puck so I’m going to take advantage of that and try to read off of them I think just you know just um staying you know calm and playing my game and not trying to to do too much or be be a player that I’m not I think if I just stick to my game and you know chip away and look to to continuing improving that that’ll help me a lot I think her biggest asset is her speed like she is such a phenomenal athlete when she does anything in the gym most of us are like how do we play the same sport like she is just like such a phenomenal athlete you look at Jos at at her age and just how well she’s taking care of things to be able to still perform at this level and play them she’s so I aspire to be like Jos if you have natural chemistry then you know there’s nothing better than that having that trust in knowing that I’ve done everything I possibly can to be ready when the moments are big and when I get those opportunities to play definitely a player that loves to just have fun um I’m always out whether it is like in between drills or before after just working on whether it’s things I’ve seen on Twitter or things you see in the NHL watch and like Comer definitely have um and Blair as well like kind of that small adjustment they make right before they shoot that kind of catches you you know that far pad or right above the pad low block or low glove and that’s just really smart shooting and you’re going to see that at this level every game definitely physical and you have to take the body first to to get to the puck second so it’s definitely been at least it’s a it’s been more often it’s just so cool when you have the opportunity to learn from them and play with them and see how they handle their themselves every that’s a hard part of this game is getting shots off all the goal scorers are saying that too so whenever I get a chance to either bring the pucks to the net or rip a shot uh I definitely will take it I think hockey’s always been my passion so I’ve always dedicated most of my time to hockey and now it’s just like it’s my job which is really weird to say now [Music]
