hello everyone Jim Beringer here back again NHL rumors.com please click that subscribe button below hit give us a thumbs up like on the video we’re talking about Calgary Flames here in our latest NHL rumors segment look uh Dave Pena the fourth period reported that nazm Madre has been on the block with the Calgary Flames since the summer since the draft teams have been inquiring about him but the Calgary Flames were in the mix right now in the Pacific Division in that wild card race uh in the Western Conference now we’re going to see what happens later on in the season after their great start they’ve tailed off a little bit but they’ve got it bounced back with a great win got lot of interesting players on that team not only Cadre but Jonathan hubero uh you also have Rasmus Anderson on the back end Dan vdar is a free agent as well they don’t have as many distractions as they did last year where you had Nikita zador off you had Elias linol Chris tanv was there you know they pick up Andre kmo you know they had Tyler to fully beginning of the year Jacob marstrom was there as well a lot of moves that they’ve made uh going back to last off season a couple off seasons ago really if you think about it it starts with tley to New Jersey for jar s goic they get a nice young player hits 30 goals gets a new extension then you know you move out Z door off right after you know Hockey Hall Fame weekend after the others make their coaching move get some nice Picks and Prospects back in that deal that’s the kzo part of everything you get the Elias L home to Vancouver you’re picking up some nice pieces there as well then you’re seeing Chris tan up to Dallas now you’re restocking your cupo not only get first you get a second round pick but you got some nice pieces coming as well then the big move Jacob marstrom you bring him in from new J to two New Jersey for Kevin Ball a first round pick like Kevin ball and Rasmus Anderson had formed a great shutdown defense pair for the Calgary Flames and you know speaking with Craig Conroy he really loves Anderson Anderson really wants to be in Calgary but he understands it’s the players’s prerogative to go test free agency he knew Noah Hanahan wanted to test test that route and they trade him to Vegas golden knights don’t forget about that move as well so look Anderson is a name out there he’s got a year left on his deal he likes it in Calgary can Craig Conroy convince him to stay Conroy knows that the four nations face off he makes team Sweden he knows the Olympics are big part of it for him as well but you could see Anderson as a building block on that defense because they’re going to need veteran leaders on that defense with some young guys coming up you have weager there as well you keep Anderson and ball together that’s a nice shutdown pair going forward again it’s going to be the cap hit what can they get in return is the package as good as it is as they were last year for different players like a tanv like a zidor but if they can get him at a reasonable cap hit I think they really want to keep uh you know they want to keep Anderson they also may want to keep ldar but you can get a backup goalie anywhere on the market to go with Dustin wolf who is the starting goaler for the Calgary Flames so it’s going to be interesting to see what Craig Conroy does again go back to nazm cadri he’s got A7 million cap kit he’s got several years left on that deal where could he go well I mean obviously Pena and several others have linked him to Toronto Maple Leafs because they need center help the problem is with Toronto Maple Leafs is Mitch marter comes back if John Tavaris comes back where does nasm cadri fit in this thing making $7 million yes the Cap’s going to go up to what 94 95 million still not a lot of room to add nasm Cadre to the mix so he may be sticking in Calgary plus he likes it there you know they’re still in the mix it’s not like he didn’t want to sign there Craig Conroy made Moves they move out Monahan then they move out lolm and Conroy wants to add he wants to get a right shot centerman because he doesn’t have it anymore and he’ll move a first round pick that’s for an age appropriate player under 30 to get him but one of his picks is tied up with the Monahan deal to Montreal depending on where they finish and whose pick is higher they could move a devil first round pick to get a center but again a lot of teams are looking for centers as NHL rumors have documented Devils Nashville teams like that have been looking for centers it’s is it a Centers Market we really don’t know because if everybody’s looking first center there’s not many centers out there uh to go around like maybe the biggest couple big names would be Christian dorak out of Montreal and Yanni gour out of Seattle but again everybody’s still in it so going back to the Flames Calgary is still in this mix so I don’t think they want to give up anything right now not to mention Craig Conroy and the Calgary Flames are retooling on the Fly they’ve done a great job of it they got a nice young team coming together bonding together they’re getting ready for that push for their new building and I think I think kodri going to be a part of it I think hubero still be there yes teams are going to call about them would Kadri like to go back to Colorado yes but again does Miko Ron stay how do the dollars and cents work out if if there was an unlimited salary cap yeah probably go back to Toronto yeah go back to Colorado but right now he’s having fun in Calgary and this team is doing well yes they’ve come back to earth a little bit but I could see a team uh teams going after Dan vdar for goalie help and Andre kzo I don’t know if kko is goingon to fit what Ryan husko wants to do with this team so I could see them moving on from him even if they can’t trade him maybe they just let him walk in free agency so you know these are things you got to keep an eye on with the Calgary Flames well are they quote unquote open for business I’m not sure but at the right price maybe you can get somebody out of there but again they want to keep Rasmus Anderson they probably want to keep aazim Cadre they have a young team but you want to have some veterans on that mix too so let’s see what the Calgary Flames do going ahead going to be a big year for them and what they do the rest of this the
