that game is out west it is Colorado and South Dakota state they’re getting a lot of attention speaking of other sports with Travis Hunter accumulating all of the postseason awards for Colorado he is going to uh easily win the Heisman Trophy tomorrow night this is basketball though this is Hoops on a Friday night at home in and around the accolades for the football program this is south Dakota State who in when last we saw them they were up a couple of nights ago guys at Nevada at the half only to have Nevada Roar back and cover against them so it’s a nine and a half point line the total is 145 and a half Corby Craig begin the discussion on South Dakota State and Colorado tonight in Boulder yeah I thought one of the uh better handicaps of the year so far was Matt Cox South Dakota State versus Nevada uh match up on Wednesday he took the 11 I think they won by like 20 something I didn’t watch the game um but he talks about like that team sorry that team was hyped up they they had been pushed around and in press conferences the coach was for Nevada was like Hey like we might change lineups we might do all of these things because like we are not paying enough attention we have to dial in and mat hit it nail on head like we saw a new lineup in the first half they didn’t look great they came in the second half and absolutely crushed South Dakota State all of that said I think that that from like a a a bias standpoint is going to look like South Dakota State didn’t look very good they got crushed by a team who was just better than them and I think at some point you have to give Nevada Credit in that in that game because they they they played with their high horse in December that’s kind of hard to do so probably a Buy Low for South Dakota State saying that do I want to do it not really South Dakota State also um played to altitude their very last game so I don’t think being in Colorado is any big of an issue um seems like a pretty good spot like second game at altitude uh it would be the dog or nothing for me I did not play this game I I really don’t have a strong enough opinion about South Dakota State this year I talked about this uh on Wednesdays like it’s tough because South Dakota state was faded in Market when they played MCN MCN got bought up like seven points to start the year and since then like no one’s really touched this South Dakota State team they don’t really see money so I would be curious to see if there’s any movement on this game I would imagine not to uh start the day all right again for Colorado Jeff Nao they beat their rival Colorado State the last time out they’ve got Andre what is it yakimowski if I pronounce it correctly he’s the one that hit the winning shot against Yukon in Maui they lost the first game to Michigan State they beat Yukon in the second game and then they lost in the uh in the finale in Maui to Iowa State they’ve come back home they’ve won uh twice with Pacific and Colorado State thoughts on Colorado is this a get right spot for them we’ve talked about that a couple times this week do they I mean they got right clearly with Colorado State in a 17 Point win do they continue it I guess tonight on a Friday night I got a couple things for this game one of which he mentioned elevation you Reno’s about four 4,400 feet above sea level Boulder 5400 feet about a th000 feet difference definitely I don’t know if it hurts them too much here but you’re definitely going to notice it being in Colorado number two uh I don’t know if there’s a player more important to one team in America than Oscar KF with South Dakota State when he doesn’t play or is limited they are not very good they lost to Montana He didn’t play Nevada he didn’t play very much um he needs to be in there because when he’s in there they’re effective they play inside out they go always through him and he knows Colorado pretty well being at Washington State before South Dakota State throw in they have a freshman point guard he has to be there and I don’t know if he’s healthy tonight if he is if I had a um connection to South Daka state which weirdly enough I do uh I don’t know if he know this answer but if I knew that Mr KF was good to go and healthy tonight and was going to be in there 40 minutes I would take the jack rabbits here that said I don’t know if he is he only played I believe 19 minutes the other night he was very ineffective and uh they lost by double digit so it’s all about his status if he’s in I like them if he’s not in I don’t like them so injuries we often say this injury statuses got to check that you got to know that besides just looking at box scores and play opportunity here all right yeah particularly if Colorado gets out here is the live button maybe going to come out on our final game maybe maybe not here South Dakota State and Colorado anything on the total the total right about where it should be guys 145 and a half I’m sure Corby would agree I think the under is probably the play here because uh Colorado if they get out in transition here they’re going to probably beat up South Dakota state for as good as South Dakota State’s been over the years I don’t know if this is one of their better teams especially without KF and a fresh point guard I think the goal would probably be to slow things down here a little bit and uh kind of operate in half court try to limit uh South state is seemingly pretty quick but I don’t know if that’s a good idea here my my thought was under uh but I don’t know last two Colorado games Corby if my on the-fly public school education math is correct 127 was the the number against Colorado State for the total and the Pacific game is what 141 here it’s a it’s a little more with South Dakota State counting on them but again the injury question mark I think is a big part of it anything else on the total Corby on that game no I make it 144 so uh I’m basically right at the number here DJ I have to throw this sentiment out it is you cannot bet South Dakota State without CLS you just can’t you cannot bet you will be looking at and saying why did I bet this he’s supremely important to how they play basketball there so just saying injury info on that okay we gave you good stuff on that one tonight and that is uh I’m looking for my game time I believe 8 central yes seven mountain time in the CU Event Center on the boulder campus for Colorado and South Dakota State ESPN plus has it if you want to see it all right so he [Music]
