Chisum he looked really good at third base look smooth the third base I’m fine with him staying there but second base is a glaring glaring need right now for the Yankees and no no no we’re not we’re not GNA go promote Triple A I don’t want Oswald Cabrera I don’t want uh Oswaldo perza those are good depth pieces but for a championship to cont with the big boys you need a big boy and bregman’s not the biggest boy in terms of physical height but in terms of that bat in terms of production yeah he’s one of he’s still one of the elite second basem in this game and he is absolutely someone that would fit the need of the Yankees right now let’s just get to the stats you know numbers don’t lie um sign me up for a 260 batting average I’ll take that sign me up for 26 home runs I’ll take that sign me up for 75 ribbies sign me up for an Ops of 768 yeah bregman again one of you can’t name 10 better second basemen than this guy right here he’s been one of the elite second baseman especially from a production standpoint for a number of years now and again all will be forgiven as as I mentioned before from those Astro teams that have haunted the Yankees in the playoffs I I I tell you I I was rejoicing along with a lot of other a a lot of you guys at home when the Astros got knocked out of the playoffs by the Detroit Tigers and uh the path to the World Series got a little bit cleaner but he’s a big reason why this guy is tormented the Yankees in the playoffs along with Altuve uh along with uh uh a number of Astros you know what I mean uh and and it’s it’s about time that the Yankees poach him from one of the their Al Rivals and um him and the Pinstripes it just it just sounds right I mean George Springer he he’s over there in in Toronto making a billion dollars but they’re not contenders you know mean they’re not you know I mean it’s all about getting necessary talent to compete and Tucker another current maybe former Astro he’s in a trade for him is on the table as well I mean from what I’m hearing the Astros are uh they’re going to be asking for somewhere somewhere in the likes of uh Luis heel if that trade were to happen but Astros if you guys want to have a little bit of a fire sale Yankees are buyers they’re definitely not sellers not after just making it to the World Series and falling three games short of that 28th pennant they’re right there they’re right there and rather than take 10 steps backward from stto you’re going to take a step back but but you can still take a step forward by replacing an All-Star with an All-Star and you know the plan is not to just replace stto in one move that’s not possible that’s just not there’s a handful of guys in this league that you’re not replacing with one move you can’t replace a Juan sto in one move you can’t replace a Aaron judge or sh Otani um or or there’s or there’s a number of guys you cannot replace them with one or rapael Des you’re not replacing those guys in one move it’s going to take a series of moves and you saw the first Domino with Max freed Yankees land him they strengthen their Bullpen and Sasaki who’s been posted by the way straight from Japan the Dodgers were looked at as the favorites the Yankees are going to make a push toward him as well so possibly adding Sasaki to a rotation that Now features King Cole rhon and freed now you’re cooking with grease all right now you’re cooking with gas forget that um but in terms of offense you knew the Yankees needed another bat and again you pair bregman with Christian Walker you’ve got my attention now you you really do because it’s all about offense uh you know you’re going to score runs uh you you know that you’re going to get solid pitching with health aside knock on wood but you need offense and you know big Kudos right here to this guy right here you know we we drag him across the coals uh on this channel as well as you guys at home I know you do because I know most of you I live in New Jersey you know I mean I I’m a Yankee country it’s all about what this guy’s going to do to pick this organization and pick this front office up off the mat because you lose out on Juan stto you get KN that’s a knockout that’s a gut punch you’re taking a knee like Kaepernick or you’re down on the M but you got to get up it’s a standing eight count for a reason you get up you shake off the cobwebs and you get back into that fight and the best way to do it is to land a guy like this Alex bregman would be an excellent addition to this lineup um yes he is a righty but um again Lefty help is on the way with Christian Walker potentially Cody Bellinger as well the Yankees are they have a plan it’s a plan B you know what I mean uh you know you don’t want to have to go to a plan B you rather just stick with that plan a but things happen this is baseball and and free agency is very unpredictable at times you know it definitely looked like sto was going to resign but this the the Mets would not be denied and it’s time for the Yankees to Pivot and this is a good pivot right here to get a guy like bregman add him to the lineup you put him there with judge um a nice infield with him sure glove him and and uh and a gold Glover in um in uh in vulpe and J Chism as well he gives you some of that Lefty power that you’re going to obviously lose from from loss of sto but a solid move here that the Yankees absolutely need to make they don’t want to make it they need to to get somebody of the caliber of bregman and as Brian hotch mentioned the interest is real but that does it here for this video come on
