P almost don’t know what to ask um how did you explain that what have you said to your players well this year many times I would say that many many times unfortunately happened so we give away many self-inflicted at the end there yeah I know but that’s what it is so what can I say no I said we can look for this action of this player this play no it’s not about it’s not about that so it’s it’s it’s yeah it was tough season and will be tough season yeah what did you make of the quality of the game I think you just said that it wasn’t it wasn’t nice it didn’t flow today Fair no we didn’t play in our B I was say say because in some positions we are not our best and and we struggle a little bit but is uh yeah it’s what it is because now we don’t play for you know play for many things but 11 uh yeah there no defense when you see the results 8 to 11 we don’t have to defend so was a lot of games maybe in the previous season we didn’t win eight games in two seasons and now we have done it in one month and few days so yeah I have to you said so we don’t have to defend so you lose a this amount of results I said before so when the people say for the big targets we are we cannot talk about targets when we lose a lot of games and and most of the time this kind of thing has happened so yeah it’s more difficult yeah we had to of course move on uh try to find the solution and and try to win in games does this feel like the toughest defeat of the lot is it going to be a real job for you now lifting these players picking them up to go again no I think in nine years it was an toughest defeats for example in Champions League s finals here in the last moments when I guess I mean in this little run in this run is is this the one that feels because you look like you might be coming out of it yeah of course we need results to lift our mood that’s obviously so but when it happen it’s getting worse and worse and and yeah the reality is like this so I’m the manager of these players the manager of this club and I have to find a solution and so far I didn’t find it I don’t find it so this is the truth thank you well Reuben as you seek to change and transform and take Manchester United for does this feel like a massive massive moment I think for everyone it’s just three points let’s again we have a lot to do uh but it was massive for our our fans but I see the same could you see it coming at all no you can feel it that we we are we were near to score um we improve our our speed when we make our runs and we had some opportunities with that we control very well uh Allen and um the other guys in the offense off of city and then in the end we we believe it and when we score the first one you feel it you feel it in the team they wanted more and then congratulations to the lads when you starting a new project and you need people to believe in it and come with you surely a win like that CU you just said it’s just three points but a win like that helps people to believe it helps the players to follow surely of course it’s really important but uh when this game finished I I remember one week ago in the storm we were 3-1 uh down with the Nottingham at home and that feeling I had I I always keep that feeling for these days to not carry away is three points we we needed a lot you can um we needed a lot this team needed a lot but we um did a great job so it was um like I said um a good game for us you’re quite businesslike are you already and I think I saw you the first one down the tunnel is your head already full of details things that weren’t right onto the next match almost immed it’s more it’s more the problem with Mason Mountain noose it’s you think right away you go in the tunnel and you think right away because we have a lot of games and you know that you need to continue to win because this will change if we don’t win the next game so yeah I you can say that yeah I mean that look really sad with Mason Mount and he’s if they train well like the others because I don’t know I don’t know the future so if they train well like it’s the same for every every player they will play or on the bench because is really important the guys on the bench so it’s just one decision for one game maybe not the big deal I’m making of it that’s that’s I think is an important thing to say was not a disciplinary thing it’s something that we have to improve our standards as a club we are doing that outside the pitch inside the pitch and was just a normal week and they will get used to to do this and that thing will when you and you look at the the games when you look at the the perform performances how would you assess that when you factor in a derby win at the etti head it obviously looks a lot better now after today but that you know if that game was five minutes on and and and they lose the game it would have been three Premier League defeats on the bounce and the team they played on Thursday night would on 350 Grand a week reportedly right he’s a star player who has scored 30 goals with that comes the scrutiny expectation of being one of the best players whether you were Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United whether you were Roy keeme whether you were Wayne Rooney whether you were David Beckham whether you were the star player of any ER at Eric canona you had to be more had to be demanded of you than Gary Neville at right back let’s be clear if I don’t play play well not many people are going to talk about it if Roy Keane does something bad or if David Beckham does something bad or if Marcus rashford does something bad that is where they’re the big players that get the most money for a reason so if he’s not working back if he’s not playing well he’s not looking like he’s enjoying himself right he then has to something has to happen this is very good for Marcus rashford today I see this as a real positive I think Ruben amim has said tonight next week we start with a clean slate training starts again I hope Marcus rashford is playing on Thursday night against Tottenham I really do and I hope he goes and scores two or three goals and he fights for every single pass players what what what’s the difference they’ve had a constant manager who set the the standards and the old buy at time at times man united don’t they are they’ve chopped and changes they they’ve relied on rashford when his form’s good he’s he’s here when and then sometimes when it’s not going to well you need a c manager to get you to no no no you shouldn’t do but I’m I’m just giving an alternate view what about Ahmad then so Ahmad today right Manchester United have been the most woeful this is the worst Manchester United Team that have ever started a Premier League season but that kid is 22 years of age right there’s ownership issues there’s sporting directors leaving they’re losing more goals more goals from Corners they shipping everything badly and that kid runs around that who were in the squad not just the 11 but in the squad and before the match he said we didn’t like the way or we looked we evaluated a lot of things including the way how they engag with their with their teammates so he he did tell us why he was he was leaving both players both Garo and rashford out of not just the feel out of the manag is not about you as a player after a match and gave them little signals and you’re you’re left out of a a first team squad not that you’ve been put on the bench in a big game and a Darby game against Man City and you heard these noises coming up what he might think about you you’d be ashamed of your life he might come along and said tactically I’m leaving your or you might be carrying a knock but they come up with these noise and saying they were training the small whatever the trainer ground that’s fine obviously they have to keep keep on top of their Fitness but to get these messages to people who are listening and he knows what he’s doing this manager he’s smack smart he’s a smart cookie and he has got a bit of power now cuz they’ve won the game and he can get these mess out the players going I’m the new manager and I’ll make these decisions but for them players sitting a home by the way they must be sitting there going my good God I’m embarrassed if that’s if that’s what he’s saying about me about my attitude to I engag with my teammates so do you think he’s done the the right thing by leaving them out the squad and and by talking about it in the way that he of course he’s had to make big decisions that’s what he’s done he’s again he’s he’s in the door what three or four weeks and he’s he’s not again his eyes don’t like him he’s look at The Players results have been great and obviously these two players aren’t on their own in terms of their performances but if he’s on about attitude the way they train then you do say it to him and I suppose the time to do it isn’t a big game because you go listen it will grab a few new manager as you said 15 away games without a win against teams from the the Manchester United significant win a huge win for them against Manchester City but still room for improvement for only if my feeling was there was only one team that could win that game but at the end we lost and uh and it’s not one game it’s it’s a lot of it’s a lot of games lately and um yeah we have to look at ourselves it’s not about it’s not about oh my oh we’re playing so well and it’s it’s it’s a bit unlucky now it’s the decisions that you make you today the last minute we played like under 15s and you pay the price so to use your word stupid these stupid decisions why are they happening well I don’t know I I I know that we don’t want we don’t want we don’t want them to happen but um as I said it’s it’s it’s a bit frustrating because if you look at the game and uh if you look at the game until minute 86 there was only one team that could win this this football game and uh and then from a corner for Man City when you you even leave a center back at the back Ruben State and you went up with the ball in our keeper and it’s it’s just there’s no excuse for that at this level so as I said we deserved what happened so right now the people go into that dressing room put an arm for example round M Nunes or your standards higher than that it sounds like there might have actually been a few harsh words in there it’s not about one player or two when when when it happens in 10 games it’s it’s it’s about us collectively but obviously each one of it individually look at ourselves and see what we can do better but of course there needs to be communication at that at at that at that minute at that level of the game there needs to be communication for us to play short or to to try and keep the ball in the corner or something but or at least or at least if if we if if the ball ends up to one of our midfielders you you just put the ball again in one of the corners to try and and put them under pressure and not put yourself under pressure so as I said it’s it’s not just that pass from Matos to the keeper it’s all everything from the corner to the corner for us how the ball ends up in huan then Kyle then mat then everyone in the pressure to that you have to play to to the keeper and this this just can cannot happen we have we have to do better in these kind of situations we have to be more experienced smarter and uh as I said at this top level even if you’re better than the your opponent if you make these kind of mistakes you deserve to lose the game lastly it sounds like you’re you’re beyond dis pointed frustrated sad whatever the right word is with this one you’re like you’re angry now well I think it’s it’s quite normal that that we’re we’re that we’re not very happy at the minute not just because of this game but because of the last month but um yeah we just have to do better individually and collectively because it’s not good enough for the standards of Manchester city thank you thank you thanks for coming up French Italian and Spanish Bruno Fernandez was very much trying to keep Amad Yo’s feet on the ground in that interview and saying you we expect this from him every every week but he’s done so well since Ruben amarim has has come in in the seven appearances he’s he’s been he’s being the biggest plus I think no doubt for the new manager coming in getting to work with the players from you know the start of um the first game really he’s had a big impact but the impacted and the um winning the penalty and the goal and the Finish certainly wasn’t easy and that just came a player prepared to run forward as well and also Bruno’s chance came from somebody actually going forward and um a brilliant moment for him and welld deserved he’s got a bit of energy he’s got a bit of quality young kid learning his trade obviously you always worried listen hopefully he keeps stays grounded but a big afternoon for him he also say versatile as well can he could play the front free can play Wing back I think I think he’s been the best player for Man United this season um taking all into consideration new manager how young he is is it just 22 years of age he was really good at sunnd scored a lot of goals could he make the step up he’s definitely made the step up and yeah I I just enjoy watching him in terms of his Endeavor his work rate the way he runs him behind the way he’s not afraid to go at somebody how many times you see Wingers in today’s football the go the go to the line and a comeback he’s he’s not doing that he’s got that confidence and believe in himself that he can play at this level you have to gamble towards the end but you you and you needed a bit of luck but be prepared to running behind it this the way the game has changed a lot over the last few years particularly for bit fielders everyone wants to come and get a field for the ball and get touches but you need people running beyond the ball running beyond the striker and that’s where United created their their best moments but it’s just his composure as well the way the way he took his goal was just brilliant the way so you see a lot of players especially young players in that position sort of snatch at it or rush it but he took his time he lifted it over and then the Finish you know with conviction as well really we look for certain look for certain trades in the man united player obviously and and he looks like he’s got that he looks like he’s comfortable in the Jersey we talked about pressure and recruitment over the last few years and players can’t be can’t find their feet plan for Man United but he looks as if I’m okay being a man united player I think the important thing though is just I know Bruno was being sort of a party pooper there and talking about Agate but just in terms of the pressure of man united and staying at that level we’ve talked about gacho at times when he first come into the squad I thought he was brilliant and now you know we’ seen it with ammed Dio he just needs to keep his feet on the floor and do what he does best key for that’s key for any young player obviously come to to any big Club is how you deal with now the expectation the pressure the importance he played today contract situations his family around him yeah that goes for for any young player playing for a big Club keep keep and Drew the contact and he just about decision making just there why doesn’t he slow it down the defender it’s difficult because when when you made a mistake in that position right but the keeper slowed him down but the keeper slaugh you want to rectify your mistake and I know what you’re saying but when you make a mistake especially when you you play a position you’re he’s made a bad situation a hell of a lot worse made a mistake you’ve got people getting back but you panic but I think Walker I think Walker’s got to play forward here I think Walker’s got to put it behind two or
