everybody and welcome back to the United stand is Monday afternoon and on today’s show Manchester United continue to Target young sporting star going to talking about quenda who has played under Ruben amarim amarim loves him and Manchester United are targeting a summer transfer move for this right- Winger rightwing back to help Ruben amaron would you want him have we been down that road before where we spent a lot of money on a right winger for a former manager’s previous Club from a former manager’s previous Club and would you want to do the same with quenda would you want to go down that same road going to talk about him transfer talks price already been discussed Manchester United really like this player and we know Ruben am loves him too brought him through it sporting gave him his debut also going to be talking about L Sandro Martinez he could be out for weeks with a spinal injury not too serious but still Manchester United are going to have to make do without him for a number of weeks we’ve got a lot of games who plays there is Luke Shaw fit enough how far is Lenny yoro away is Johnny Evans going to have to continue there who Ruben amarim talked about in his postmatch interview wanted him to press better we know Johnny Evans we know he’s a legend of the club but he’s not going to be able to play every single game could that be a problem for Ruben amarim and also going to discuss how desperately Manchester United do need to go into the market for not only a right-wing back quenda who we who were looking at bringing in but also a left wing back it’s absolutely essential that Manchester United address that area I’m going to be touching a little bit on Ruben Amry and how patience is needed and how things are just not going to change overnight the reality is is that sporting starting 11 are better than Manchester United starting 11 that should never ever be the case no disrespect to sporting I really like them as a club they’ve give us some great players they’ve even give us a manager we’ve paid for them of course but they have done that but their starting 11 should never be better than United and it is and Ruben amim is going to need time and he’s not going to be able to fix it overnight but look everyone get into the chat let’s have a conversation about the wing back starting things off let’s talk about quenda from Sporting Lisbon 17 years old I’ve spoken about him on previous shows Manchester United have been interested in him he been coming out over the last few weeks that they’ve been interested in him probably because of the appointment of Ruben Amarin but apparently he was someone that Manchester United were looking at even before Ruben am came in now we know Ruben am has spoke in his press conferences how the manager has to have the final say on transfers and even though he’s got no transfer veto he has to have the final say because he is the manager he’s managing the team is his system he is the coach so he will be working with Dan Ashworth he’ll be working with Jason Wilcox and I have no doubts that he’s not going to turn around and say no to quenda from sparting Lisbon he has used him at sparting Lisbon he’s brought him through and he’s got a very good relationship with him only 177 years of age rightwing back extremely pacing good on both feet physical has a technical ceiling to come into the Premier League in my opinion I’ve not seen absolutely loads of him I’d be a liar if I sat here and said I’ve watched multiple sporting games where he’s played from start to finish I’ve not I’ve looked at him I’ve researched him I have people that I know that have watched more of him than what I have that I’ve spoken to but as a prospect for Manchester United he does take a lot of boxes now it’s going to scare people off straight away because he’s from Ruben am room’s old club and I’ve heard a lot of Manchester United Fans Say should Manchester United really go down that route again we signed plays from Ajax under ericon ha was that the right thing to do we signed players that have previously worked with Eric tag to Manchester United was that the right thing to do if you look at the squad we’ve got now with Eric tag signings in it was that the right route route to go down or should you go into a different Market should you go into a different area and start a clean slate am is obviously going to have connections to these players because he re rebuilt a team at sporting that was very very successful but Eric tag did the same at Ajax just because it’s successful somewhere else doesn’t mean it’s going to be successful at Manchester United so get your comments and your thoughts on that for me personally it doesn’t matter do I think we made mistakes in the transfer in the transfer market on under Eric and ha yes I do do I think we overpaid for players in the transfer market for Eric and ha yes I do but that doesn’t mean you should never go and get anyone from sparting lisbourne I think there is a couple of prospects at sparting lisbourne that I really like the look of the two two main ones for me would be quenda because of his age and his profile and his and his ceiling and it also would be yarz I think if anybody said no to YZ no I don’t want yakz because AMS work with him before and Eric tag also worked with Anthony before at Ajax and that didn’t work out you would be I would be like what are you talking about look at how successful joarez is look at his profile look at what he did at centry and then moving on to sparting Lisbon just absolutely exploded he’s a fantastic Striker that multiple clubs want to go for you’re interested Arsenal are interested you would be a fool not to be interested in a player that is absolutely ripping your Europe apart which YZ is so you for me it’s not an issue but get in the comments whether it would be an issue for you but the actual news line the new news that is coming out around quanda because we’ve had that Manchester United are interested we’ve had that with scouting him is that transfer thoughts could be set to begin and this is coming from a Portuguese Outlet as well a big Portuguese outlet and it’s saying that Manchester United have intensified their efforts to sign sportings Giovani kunda and are preparing an offer of β¬60 million plus bonuses for him to arrive in the summer now if you would watch my previous shows on kunda you will know that his current release Clause is a 100 million euros he renewed his contract with sporting through to 2027 and has a buy out of a 100 million euros but the news coming out now is that sporting a willing to negotiate and a price of around β¬60 million EUR plus bonuses could be enough for Manchester United to secure him now is this price something that you think is reasonable he’s 17 years old he he doing very well he’s been playing in the Champions League as well this season has been doing well there he does look like he’s got every attribute that is needed for the Premier League now nothing’s ever guaranteed but is β¬60 million euros the fee that you would want to pay and is it the position that you think Manchester United should be targeting remember 17 years old so we are investing again into the future or invest it into a talent talk about that in a little bit because I know people are a little bit frustrated at the fact that Hing gacho you know xery these are all prospects they are all talents and I know gacho we bought him into the academy so we didn’t actually spend much on it on him like he’s an absolute bargain I think we ultimately paid 500 around 500,000 for gacho when he came into the academy so you’re not you’re not looking at his Fe like he’s an academy products basically but I know that people and myself actually are like okay yeah we’re investing in the youth and that’s fantastic you want to leave lead a team for to the Future you want a team for the future you want longevity but we need players for the now we need players that are ready now is cond ready now and for 60 million Euros you would want him to be ready now and that’s the question I can’t say hand on heart he’s ready now but he does look like such a talent and if he’s ready and he’s able to play for sporting lisbourne in the Champions League in the Portuguese Premier League which they are ripping it up as well then surely is ready to come in and play for Manchester United who I genuine believe sporting are a much better side than Manchester United so surely is ready to come in and play for us and for 60 million Euros in five to six seven years I me he’s only 17 you’ve got a player that’s coming into the prime and with that high ceiling like it could it could be a fantastic buy a lot of clubs around Europe are monitoring and looking at him though because he is a big big Talent we’ll get all of your comments in let’s run polling it as well would you want to go for for for K from swart in Lisbon I’ve got to be careful how I say his name I think you pronounce it quenda quenda I think that’s how you pronounce it I’ve been kind of trying to work on my pronunciation because I know a few people were a little bit disappointed in how I produ pronounced it last time I would blame it on the Manchester accent but I’m trying to get it right we’ve got a chat in here from El NASA 99 a member for 31 months says I’m starting to get worried about alandro Martinez he’s giving me Eric Bay vibes plays too aggressive and ends up hurting himself in the process we’re going to talk a little bit about Leandro Martinez in a second to be fair he’s injury that he’s recently got I I don’t think it’s his fault I swear somebody kicked him in the back that’s how it happened like how is lassandro Martinez supposed to avoid that but I get what you’re saying like it is frustrating that he does seem to be injury-prone but his recent injury for me I generally just feel like it’s unfortunate it’s unfortunate someone’s kicked him in the back he’s picked up a back injury for it like that happens in football sometimes with the contact UM on quenda as well obviously he plays on the right side of a 343 in Ruben and room system for Spar in Lisbon the same position that ammad played yesterday is that an essential area for Manchester United to invest into when some might say well Amad did fantastically there some would say we need to prioritize the left side I agree we need to prioritize the left side but I think we’ll go for a left I think we have to go for the left side in January in all honesty I genuinely think Manchester United have to go for a left wing back in January and if not in January absolutely in the summer but I think we need both I generally think we need both because one you need Squad depth two you need options and three you need players that are going to fit for Ruben amam going to have the physical capability the intensity to play Under Ruben Amry now on the right side you could say doow could play there mazwi could play there they absolutely could thought Mai did really well at Center back yesterday actually and Mai can play multiple different positions but like I said you need depth Ahmad as well as he did it right wing back if you bring in someone like quenda you could play quenda right wing back physical also really good on both feet putting crosses into the box can drive got that pace can go at Players the same way Amad did yesterday but then it allows you to get ammad closer to goal move him into the 10 roll which I think would be ahmad’s best position in this system that’s just my opinion because I think ahmad’s our best forward player I think he’s our biggest goal threat get him closer to goal in and around the box with his intricate passing his intelligence his passing through the lines being able to weave his way through players that can cause real trouble when you’re coming into the middle of the park and he can see the passes as well and creating passes for our Center forward and imagine him linking up with quenda on the right hand side that would make our right hand side very very strong how old zamad 22 quenda 17 obviously he’s going to need time to adapt and everything like that but with Ken kenda’s profile with his physicality with his Pace with his speed with his intensity that could create a very strong right hand side for Manchester United quite quickly so quenda for me makes sense in that in in that way is the fact that you can actually see him and ammad playing together and you’ve got the physicality you’ve got the work rate and you’ve got the technical the technical ability as well the technical Flor is something that we’ve been missing at Manchester United we’ve I mean we’ve been missing intensity as well but to have players with both the intensity and the technical ability that right hand side suddenly gets very strong so get your comments in down below about that of course we need the left hand side as well but I think the left hand side’s absolutely nailed on it’s just who we get in that area we know that Enos are very very keen on Alonso Davis I still am not letting myself run away with that because I don’t I don’t see a world where Manchester United can attract Alfonso Davis when there’s going to be a club like Real Madrid going for him I just don’t see that happening but if we manage to do it and anyos managed to pull it off I’ll hold my hands up and say wow absolutely fantastic but I just don’t see it happening I think we’re kind of being used in the conversation with Alonso Davis because he’s obviously on a free he wants a good signing on Fe and he’s going to want a good wage if Manchester United are in the conversation that’s going to put it in the media even more it’s going to create even more headlines and it’s a good negotiation tactic to get a higher wage and to get a higher sign ony I mean I respect it Manchester United name gets dragged into a lot of of deals and you know what I would be very shocked if Manchester United aren’t looking at that Alonso Davis deal thinking I would love to get him on a free transfer we’d absolutely pay that wage and we’d pay the sign on fee because we’re not going to have to pay a fee to Bayern Munich but at the same time does Alfonso Davis want to actually come to Manchester United or does he want a good signing on fee and a good wage at Real Madrid where he can go and compete for a champions league and La Liga that’s where I kind of look it it the Alfonso Davis deal personally um God I’ve just seen someone in the chat saying am I didn’t dominate any were you watching the game yesterday ammad was absolutely fantastic I said if I could triple ammad I would triple him play him as a 10 play him as a right wing back play him as a left wing back because he’s good on both feet you know what actually quadruple play him as both tense like he was fantastic he was one of the only players that could come off the pitch yesterday and hold his head high and it was a brand new position for him as well but as good as he was at Wing back like you want to get get him closer to goal because he’s our biggest threat and he’s and he’s so good closer to so much he’s so good close to goal you want him there to to to be involved in in actually getting goals for Manchester United because our forward line has been massively underperforming would you bring quenda to Manchester United get your votes in I’m voting yes personally I’m voting yes I just I just don’t see a downside to it yes 60 million EUR is a lot of money but when you actually you know convert into pound it comes to what about this is just off the top of my head around 50 52 million that’s a lot of money you’re investing into a talent 17 years of age he’s got such a high ceiling you could make that money back very very easily and he takes every box that you want for that position he fits the system perfectly when we’re talking about a squad that needs intensity needs energy needs physical capability as well as a technical player like it just ticks every box so I just don’t see a Down side to it so I would absolutely go for it cuz I think we need to address that position as well it is a position that needs addressing as well as the left side I understand the concern that Anthony had a lot of hype around him before he came to Manchester United I was excited for him to come in I know goldbridge was very excited for to come for him to come in I know a lot of you guys were excited for Anthony to come in we paid a lot of money we paid Β£86 million this one would be around 52 million there is a difference a big difference 86 million compared to 52 million if that’s the price we go for for quenda is a big difference it’s much much less of a risk Anthony had a lot of hype around him I mean there was a story that came out last week that Jurgen klopp was looking at him for a Salah replacement potentially I don’t know how true that is but he did have a lot of hype around him at Ajax then he comes to Manchester United I still think there is potentially a future for him he’s never ever going to be an 86 million pound player ever ever I doubt I highly doubt I wouldn’t put my house on it but I’d be close to so I can understand you know he was also a right winger I know quenda plays as he’s a right winger SL right basically a right winger rightwing back and he you know Anthony’s Young when we brought him in you know is it is it the right thing to do to go for a manager’s previous Club because it hasn’t always worked out and the Anthony signing is an example of that but I do think these cases are different and I wouldn’t let that steer you away from a potentially really good signing and if we’ve got the people in place at Manchester United if you’ve got the competent people in place the Best in Class Dan Ashworth Jason Willcox that is what we’ve been told these are Best in Class these are going to make the football in decisions this is how Manchester United is going to be great again if they’ve done the research they’ve put the data through and they believe in quenda then we’ve got we’ve got to go with who we’ve got and paid to put in them positions to make these decisions um d d W want 34 says I guess this is how United fans felt in the 80s it’s going to be it’s going to be a big big rebuild and I think I think a lot of people got a wakeup call yesterday I think including myself I mean I always knew it wasn’t going to go absolutely perfectly straight away I did think we were going to win yesterday but I got the wakeup call and I think a lot of man united fans got a big wakeup call that Manchester United absolutely nowhere near competing we’ve got a big issue in that team that can’t be addressed Midway for a season a goal scoring problem our forward players are not good enough whether amarim can coach them to be better I don’t know but you can’t go out into the transfer market Midway through a season if we could go and get joarez right now I think Amarin would be pushing to do that we massively need investment into the forward line and we need better players there the trouble is we’ve got players on a lot of money that we’ve paid a lot for taking up them positions so that’s going to be a head scratcher for amarim whether he can get the best out of him and you know that’s the squad under a new manager trying to fight for their spot in the starting 11 with what people would say he’s a very strong bench behind them trying to get that spot Mason Mount kobby Manu you know you know xerx is on the bench Holland’s on the bench um who else on Anthony’s on the bench like you’ve got a strong bench there and that’s all they could produce the squad isn’t as good as what people think amar’s going to need time and the fact the matter is what I hope and I pray and I think he will do this is one thing I am very sure on is he sticks sck to that system no matter what players can’t do it stick to it we lose we lose we lose stick to it this is what we’ve got to do we’re going to have some bumping results we’re going to have some performances that are going to get criticized in the media as well I think this is going to happen because the players are not suited to play that system we need investment for Ruben am when we get to transfer windows and we also need to sell players and and make room in the squad for players that are capable of playing the Ruben am system what we don’t do is change another manager we stick with with amarim and the last thing I would want him to do is neglect his principles just to get a win of course you know when Manchester United you are expected to win games I get that and am’s spoken about earning the time but Eric tag let’s be honest in his first season at Manchester United neglected his principles after two games two losses where we where the players just couldn’t do what he wanted him to do he spoke about the players not being able to do what he wanted him to do he got asked why isn’t he playing the way Ajax and he said because he needed players and and it was and it it didn’t work out that excuse started to we in when he spent 600 million in a transfer in in the transfer windows and his signings were nowhere near 600 million worth and he was benching signings for players that were here before he even came in so that excuse started to run thing when he didn’t spend the money wisely but ericon ha neglected his principles after two games like let’s not forget that to win games to win games because he was under pressure to win Ruben amarim probably you know could go and get some good results if he changes the way he plays and and adapts to what suits this player which is counterattacking football but that isn’t what he wants to do he wants to implement this 343 he wants to implement this system which is why we’ve brought him in from spotting Lisbon how he became so success so successful he had to rebuild sporting from top to bottom and look at the success he ended up having he’s going to have to rebuild Manchester United we’ve got to give him time but the last thing you do is is neglect the principles he’s got to stick with his principles and if we lose we lose but we will eventually get there it’s going to be a process and we’ve got to stick with it in my opinion um we’ve got G man saying Martinez is still serviceable but his form is dipped down would not be opposed to looking for an upgrade well I spoke I did a show last week about my top five players that I think or positions that I think Ruben am should sign and left-sided Center back was third on my list it’s crucial that Manchester United sign a left-sided Center back now I do think Martinez’s form dipped a bit this season compared to what he was when he first came in that first year he was insane one of the best center backs in the Premier League him that him and var’s partnership was fantastic I still think he’s he’s done all right he’s not done as well as I would have liked him to do this season injuries are a little bit of a concern but I still think alandro martinz is absolutely capable he’s one of the players that I do think he’s capable of playing in this system I think he’s a leader I think he’s got the right attitude I think he’s got the right mentality and I do think he has the right attributes he’s good on the ball he’s he’s aggressive he’s you know he can get to the Press but you need another left-sided Center back because Luke Shaw is not reliable in the slightest Johnny Evans hasn’t got the intensity what’s that’s what’s going to be needed we need a left footed left-sided Center back because alandro Martinez unfortunately has picked up a lot of injuries and and you need depth and I spoke about Jared branth weight I know a lot of people spoken about in asio from Sporting Lisbon that’s another one someone’s talked about I mean if any you have any other suggestions get them in the chat I’d love to add that’s something I really need to actually go go away and have a look at left footed left-sided center backs that Manchester United can can be looking at because that is an area we have to invest in I know Jared branway is another one that is top of ino’s list but let me actually talk about the word that’s coming out on Leandro Martinez you’ve reminded me there got so caught up on Wing backs and quenda that I needed to get on to Leandro Martinez so it’s coming from United Menace who is fantastic around Manchester United injuries and he has said Leandro Martinez will be out for around two to three weeks depending on discomfort and Rehab it’s a spinal injury but it’s not that serious so like like we said he picked it up against Leicester I think he got kicked up kicked in the back it’s unfortunate it happens it’s just frustrating because he’s this is a player that I actually named to thrive under ramarim on that left hand side in in a back three I think it really suits him his distribution of the ball the way you can play out from the back his intensity I really do think it suits him but he’s not going to be available for probably a month really when it says two to three weeks with Manchester United you always kind of R up to a month that’s not a position Leandro Martinez will want to be in because he’ll want to become impressing the new manager and getting his place in the starting 11 it’s also not a position Ruben Amon wants to be in because you look at that left sided Center back spot Johnny Evans we know can’t play two games a week and even yesterday I think he got subbed around an hour in as as much as I respect him and love him you know the intensity is going to be a lot Luke Shaw is only just coming back from injury and it’s only a matter of time until he’s injured again for for months like let’s be honest you’ve got delit you’ve got mrai who Maji stepped up to the plate but you really want a left foot on that side Lindelof in injured I know he’s not stereotypically left footed but he can play on on that left hand side he’s injured Harry McGuire is 5050 so he’s coming back soon but it’s it’s not the ideal scenario for Ruben amaron coming into Manchester United and what games you’ve got in that in that time span you’ve got Bodo glimps you’ve got Everton at home you’ve got Arsenal away he’s going to miss Arsenal away you’ve got Nottingham Forest at home you’ve got another Europa League game um Victoria Pleasant in in the cat Republic you’ve got that on the 12th of December you’ve also got Man City away at the atti had could potentially miss that Tottenham away in the quarterfinal of a cup that am’s want going to want to win of course he’d love to get a trophy in his first season so lassandro martinz you could be in a situation where he’s out till Christmas that’s not that’s not ideal that’s really not ideal and no wonder Ruben Amarin had the 16y old Center back kukon as part of his as part of the match day Squad I know he didn’t make the bench but he’s going to need he’s going to need options and who knows if we’ll even get if we’ll get another injury so with that three at the back it’s it’s important that we have these players fit and available andand martinz is out again again stressing how important it is that we go and get a left footed left-sided Center back it has to be a position that Manchester United go for and I honestly would not be surprised if Manchester United have a cheeky bid or have a cheeky punt in January on Jared branway for Everton I would not be surprised we know inos like him we know they wanted him and apparently he’s not signing a cont cont to Everton so it could be something that Manchester United try and have a little bit of a try the luck basically CU it’s it’s something that Ruben am needs he really does need it um enjoy writing has put a super chat in saying and bit underwhelming yesterday Beth yeah I know those people hyped up goldbridge even predicted a 5- nil I mean I predicted a 3-1 people thought we were going to go there and win I thought we’d get a bit of a bounce but Reality Bites you know the squad isn’t as good as what you think it’s going to be this new system’s going to it’s going to take time to adjust to it and certain players won’t be able to adjust to it and there’s going to be a Rebo needed but the most important thing is and I actually back inos to do this because this is their guy Eric T har wasn’t their guy they didn’t pick him they have picked amarim he is their guy and as much as I think if things in the future don’t work out you know who knows what’ll happen but the fact of the matter is Ruben amarim is their guy he’s our guy they are going to back him and they’ve got to back him over any player any wage any contract it’s his system it’s his way do everything you can to make it work and and I back inos to do that because it is their guy anyway just to kind of round up the show I’ve got some quotes coming in from Doo doow actually on Ruben amaram I mean less said about Doo Do’s performance yesterday the better because let’s let’s be real it wasn’t good we know he was struggling to adapt to the positioning in Ruben amar’s system Ruben amarim again this is a breath of fresh air in terms of a manager he’s Nam dropped multiple players in postmatch interviews he named dropped Johnny Evans he Nam dropped gacho he Nam dropped Bruno Fernandez he’s also spoke about Dogo doow and Joshua xery he said Joshua xerx needs to get into the box more um to create to create chances for a cross apparently was unhappy with his position in the second half and he spoke about doo do adjusting to the system because under in in tenh har system he used to come into the Midfield and be a midfielder which we’ve seen he was Inver under ericon ha and he did a very good job at doing it but under Ruben am system he wants him to hold his position he wants him to stay wide D’s not used to that so even he’s name dropping players in in postmatch interviews which I don’t know how long it’ll last but I think it’s a breath of fresh air and I love to hear the Insight of a manager and actually get a bit of honesty with ericon ha especially especially this season but even last season I mean you you’d watch the postmatch interviews you’d watch the press conferences but you just knew the answers weren’t actually coming from the heart like you knew you knew that it wasn’t 100% that’s actually what you think you know what I mean like you knew it wasn’t a completely honest analysis because he was trying to protect the players but I think Ruben am like he’s not digged any player out he’s just saying it how it is and I love the fact that you that you hear this Insight you hear these things because you know for a fact even if ericon har did think dallow wasn’t in the right position he’d never come out after after a match and be like yeah D wasn’t in the right position today he wouldn’t say that he’d say oh we’ve won two trophies and we need to be better and we need to want it more that’s the answer you’d kind of got every time but amam is actually detailing on the pitch what needs to improve and and how we can get better and it was actually really really refreshing to to hear that but on doo doo on Ruben amarim he said he’s really demanding is’s exactly what we need for this type of Club that’s the standard the club should have by demanding people are really professional and working hard for this the team that’s the clear message he gives us every day I wouldn’t expect anything less the Manchester United manager has to be demanding and for Ruben am to get where he is in his career of course he’s got to be demanding and this is just like everyone’s say Beth this isn’t Brown groundbreaking stuff but one thing I noticed yesterday compared to his interviews in the week is he looked annoyed like he looked frustrated and you could tell that’s a guy that’s not loose not loosed not used to dropping points especially dropping points to a te that’s towards the bottom of the league like he looks frustrated and he knew the job he was taking on he knew it wasn’t going to be playing sailing he knows he’s he’s got a lot of work on his hands but of course he’s going to be demanding he’s not he’s not used to dropping points he’s not used to I know he didn’t lose but he’s not even used to drawing so he’s going to demand that intensity and one thing I would say about Dogo do is as much as the performances have dropped off he has got that mentality Benny mcaf has even spoken about if every player trained the way Bruno and doow did we didn’t have be in a better position he’s got the mentality just whether he can as good as he was last season he’s got to improve it he’s got to improve it this season because he’s really not covering himself in glory performance-wise from the start of this season he also spoke about amar’s arrival he gone really well he’s made an impact straight away in terms of philosophy and the way he wants us to play it suits the standards of this club high intensity football and working hard for the team but we just need to put it into practice now like I said it’s not going to happen overnight r has not had much time with his team at all game to game is where he’s going to work things out with the team I won’t be surprised if we see different players playing against Bodo glimps one we’re going to need rotation it is a high-intensity system that Ruben amarim has got in place but also he’s going to want to see how different POS how different players perform because it’s only so much you can tell from the training ground D also said we prepared for ipswitch alt together and give credit to him amarim and the staff they gave us all the information we needed to be ready for the IP switch game we now have a couple of more days to keep working on that and we look forward to Thursday his messaging was really clear like I said we have to give credit to him and his staff for all the information that they gave us it was really clear and obviously now we need to take more training sessions and games to put it into practice so doow again giving credit to the manager he’s got clear instructions he knows the way he wants them to play it’s just practicing that and the players getting used to it and adapting to it and having more time more time time to adapt to it will every player be able to adapt I don’t think so as you know you could want to adapt you could want to perform but have you got the capabilities of doing it I don’t think every player does and I do think yesterday he put out quite a senior team but I think there’s players that are on that bench that are more suited to his system than the players that potentially started don’t know whether it’s down to Fitness or whether it’s down to giving the senior players a chance first I don’t know what it was down to but Ruben Amon will learn these things not going to get everything spot on straight away on on in your first day like your first day at a new job you’re not going to get everything spot on he’s going to have to learn of course he will he’s going to have to learn more about the squad as well doow on the am on the instructions that Amarin gave to him Sprint back and be really hard working give an option and do not be afraid to have the ball the message he gave to everybody was clear he wants us to have more control of the games and that’s what we want to do we will speak on Monday we’ll do the recovering speed then I felt comfortable I’ve played on the left a couple of times now and the system is good for this club I’ve played with three center backs before so Dow talking about his own game individually there personally I think it needs to improve I I don’t think he played very well yesterday and apparently amarim was consistently you know talking to him about his position and where to and where to receive the ball so let’s see how doow can improve hopefully he can like I said it is a change for him he was playing as an inverted fullback coming into the Midfield that’s not what he’s going to be doing now let’s see if he starts against against Bodo glimps could be somebody new there we spoke about on the Forum yesterday would could Anthony start as as left-sided Wing back that’s a potential option am I did it on the other side it’s a potential option and jooy writing says on the upside City are struggling Beth exactly City are struggling but you know if they played us it’d probably get them back on track wouldn’t it I mean I was taking so much joy out of City’s five in a row defeats and then when United played against IPS which it kind of brought me back down Down to Earth but the good news is for Manchester United is it can only go up from here and the trajectory under this manager if we do back him it will go up we’re just going to have to endure some poor results and some poor performances to to iron out the issues to adapt to this system to let the system do its thing and that’s what we’ve got to do it’s got to stick with amarim this is going to need to bring players in eventually in transfer Windows this season honestly this season for me now of course I want to get European football of course I want to win as many games as possible of course I want to win in the cups in the Europa League but this season for me is about amarim nailing this squad to his system to his intensity to the way he wants to play and and figuring out who can do it the players that can do it come the end of the season Amry I’m sure you’ll go and tell Dan Ashworth Jason Wilcox Omar BR these are the players that I’m going to work with and I think have a future even if they’re not 100% now over the course of season these are capable these are the players who are not going to work for me and are not capable we’ve got to figure out a solution doesn’t matter about the contract doesn’t matter about the age doesn’t matter doesn’t matter about anything like that can they work with Ruben am if they can’t goodbye see you later and maybe we’ll have to take a hit on some of them but that’s what this season is about for me it’s about figuring out who’s the future and who’s not and allowing am to come in and lay down his rules lay down his foundations and no matter what results we get I’m going to trust him I’m going to trust him because I think it’s so obvious that we need to back a manager and we need to invest into a manager and he’s done it at sporting he’s rebuilt that club from top to bottom and if you give him the time he can do it for Manchester United as well I believe I believe that and I really like listening to him as well um on changes I would make in the team quickly in terms of players that were on the bench yesterday that I think could be could be you know looking for a starting spot I don’t know if it’s down to Fitness or what like I said before so if you go back to front I think obviously Anana potential player of the season for us this season was fantastic yesterday of course he’s going to be the number one choice goalkeeper then you look at the back three we don’t really have much option there so you’d probably stick with what we’ve got if Luke Shaw’s fit enough he plays left side is Center back then you’ve got delit and you’ve got mazwi I’d keep mazra there until yoro is fit enough to play but even then like mazra has done a really good job where I mean yoro will come in eventually but there’s no pressure on him to return it’s tough for me because I want to play Amad CL closer to goal but it’s like who do you play it right wing back who do you actually play it right wi back because D’s got a kind of do left so it’s interesting if if Yo’s back fit you’d like to move mazra to right wing back wouldn’t you and and move ammad further up the pitch but if yoro isn’t fit you’d want to keep mazwi on that right side of Center back role do you put Anthony left wing back and move doow to right wing back and then you can have your Midfield too I’d have Mayu and GTE and then your two1 is Bruno and ammad or even Mount and Bruno and keep Amad at Wing back Mount I think that I think that role that gacha was playing yesterday I think Mount would be really good at it if he’s back it back to full fitness but we don’t know how fit He Is We don’t know how long he can injure it Striker wise do you give hland a chance now rashford has has had his chance AP switch aie stick with rashford and get him used to the role get in the comments down below what you think I think he does have to make some changes on Thursday not necessarily like you’re on the bench you’re on the bench you’re on the bench now you didn’t do enough at IP switch now that’s it no I get you learning I get your adapting to the system you’ve got to be a lot better but I want to tral some other players in your position because I’m trying to figure out my best team it’s rotation to try and find out his best team so I I would expect Mount to come into the starting 11 on Thursday I would expect Mayu com to the starting 11 Ugarte to come to the starting 11 I expect Highland to start up front on Thursday and then we’ll see how the rest of the team kind of lines lines itself up the Midfield is going to be very interesting because ideally you’d have Mayu and ug in that double pivot and both of them were on the bench yesterday for Manchester United but look everyone thank you very much for all of the chats all of the votes on the poll make sure you hit a like on the video if you’ve not already we’ve got the poll on would you bring Kender to Manchester United 80% of you say you would that is a huge Landslide so a lot of you guys s singing from the same him sheet as me you see the potential there you see it’s for me it with quendo it’s not just shiny Utah yes bring him to United I’ve looked at him he he is the definition of intensity and technicality combined together and he’s young he’s such a big Prospect so for me it’s an no-brainer and he’s work with the coach amarim and he knows exactly how he wants him to play so for me it’s a no-brainer I’m not saying I want to go and raid the whole of the sparting team but he’s somebody that is is right up there Eugene mcll says best um seriously think do you but seriously think hland would do better than joarez if he was in sporting and was getting the type of service and teamwork what makes you think that hland would do better than jarez in sporting I mean I think Highland’s got attributes but joarez is at this current moment in time he levels above he’s levels above levels above um but thank you for your Super Chat somebody else asked me to read a chat I’m trying to find it now quickly before the end oh I can’t find it but oh wait here we go oh no I can’t find it I can’t find it but look everyone thank you very much for all your chats thanks for your votes in the polls thank you for getting all of your comments in this quenda stuff will be interesting as it develops we keep getting linked to him Portuguese Outlets are picking it up as well obviously over in Lisbon where he’s currently playing it’s an area Manchester United have to address one for the summer for sure quenda joarez branway three names to massively keep an eye on for Manchester United three names I think Manchester United will be eyeing up to go and bring in for Ruben amarim and I think we’re capable of going getting them let’s see what happens hit a like on the video have a lovely rest of your day start your week with a bang enjoy the rest of the week we’ve got Bodo glint coming up on Thursday I’m already excited to see it see the changes that I made and see what impact amaron can make what I will say is I reckon he’s already watched back that it switch game two or three times and from the way he was speaking yesterday after the game after he’s watched back the game and highlighted stuff I mean he’d already made notes and highlighted a lot about individual players and how they can improve at the end of the game yesterday I think after he’s watched it back a couple of times done a Ricky you know with the with the remote recorded it you know clipped up certain bits and I think when he has a team meeting and goes through it with everyone and what they need to do better I think it will open the players eyes up a lot I think games is what he needs to to help these players adapt and improve and let’s hope we see that Improvement for his first home game on Thursday I cannot wait for it thank you everyone for watching stay tuned for the 8:00 pm show and I will see you on the next one
