what a day across the Major League Baseball landscape today turned out to be we had a big trade two big signings well one’s b a big name um but a lot of not transactions the biggest news of the day very disappointing news was the passing of Ricky Henderson I have my Ricky Henderson rookie card I got it I actually got it late I got it like six months ago as I got into like this really like retro card collecting craze and I had always wanted one and I didn’t have a rookie Henderson card but it was on my list of things to get this is a 1980 tops I had collected sets to 81 after that the price started going way up mainly because of this guy and unfortunately that guy’s not here anymore but Ricky Henderson man there has not been anybody and I did not mean to go this route I was going to dive in into the transaction but I’m feeling it so just bear with me for a minute there has not been anybody like Ricky we’ve been close we have been close with the personality but when it comes to what they can do on the field I mean Ricky was just a different animal the speed the power especially at that time Ricky is kind of like a guy you would expect to see today but he was doing it in the 880s uh before I was before I was born Ricky was doing his thing and then to grow up being a little kid watching Ricky Henderson oh my God was amazing and then and I posted this on the Community page holy guys when I was I don’t know how old I was 10 or 11 or something Ricky Henderson was traded to my favorite baseball team are you kidding me the most exciting player in Major League Baseball traded to my team as we were trying to repeat as World Series champs oh my God it was the most liter like when I think back to trades that’s what we do here on the channel right is it because of Ricky Henderson maybe that trade Ricky to the Blue Jays before the trade deadline in 9 93 was the was honestly when did con con was traded to the Blue Jays he was a part of the 92 team but I was I was at a point where I didn’t I didn’t know who David coh was I didn’t know who this guy David coh sounds like a great pitcher um I had his baseball card that’s all I knew of David Coen but I knew Ricky Henderson for more than just a baseball card Ricky was traded to my team and it was so exciting it was the first trade in my life that I got excited about and then he is a look look did he have like a scorching hot run with the Toronto Blue Jays not so much but ninth inning game six 93 World Series Mitch Williams Phillies fans e muffs time uh Phil Mitch Williams on the mound Ricky Henderson drawing a walk I can still see him faking the bunt pulling it back dropping it he he he basically he drew a walk and did a little what we what we call a bat drop um pimped his walk struts on down to first few batters later Joe Carter hits the Home Run Ricky is in two of my most Vivid Young baseball memories Ricky Henderson rest in rest in peace Legend okay there we go I didn’t mean to do that I was going to D Dive Right into Diamondbacks Dive Right into Naylor but I was just I was feeling it so uh Ricky Henderson one of my favorite baseball players not my not not my favorite but easily top well let’s see he was a blue jay for a minute but a lot of my favorite blue jays if I were to fill out like as a kid who are my top five top 10 players they’re all blue jays and they’re all long time Blue Jays um so it’s it’s you know it’s kind of tough is Ricky how about this non blue jay when when you think about Ricky you don’t think of him as a blue jay non blue jay Ricky easily top three um okay let’s get started what’s going on welcome in everybody appreciate you hopping in here late on a Saturday I’m sure a lot of you are like me Robbie yeah yes it it is it is definitely Robbie gwb that from being a kid I know there’s been a lot of stuff since then but uh but but but 10-year-old 11year old me is all about uh Robbie uh thank you yes gwb Robbie Joe uh Tony Fernandez Fred McGriff uh Lloyd Mosby Kelly Gruber that’s my that’s that’s that was my time uh John olude uh Todd stmy Pat henin Juan Guzman I could go on all right let’s let’s get started everybody again welcome in this was quite a day of transactions and with everything going on in real life right now especially on a Saturday now that schools are out families are moving around people are doing things dinners are set up I was sitting down to a dinner with my wife uh at at a nice restaurant I didn’t know the Josh Naylor trade had happened until about an hour after the fact uh that’s where we’re at right now and that’s just kind of how it is this time of year and for the next couple of days uh so it’s kind of fun that we had a big day today uh and we can get together tonight and talk about it those of you watching us on a Sunday morning where are you I’m kidding I appreciate you working Us in when it works best for you so Naylor to the Diamondbacks I really like this move we’re going to talk about Goldie to the Yankees uh we’ll touch on Santana to the Guardians and we’ll talk about the elephant in the room literally and figuratively uh peton what does all of this mean for Pete Alonzo I posted a a video a Premiere couple hours ago with the whole Scott Boris thing I’m not I I don’t know if we’re going down that road but it feels like if we are we we’re on like step seven or eight of that road when it comes to Alonzo’s Market is jacked bregman is jacked what’s happening with Corbin Burns and his Market I got to think Burns is going to get get his money but what are we doing are we are we pricing out it feels like with Burns Boris has priced himself out of the teams that were the favorites so I have a whole video on that uh that that was that was premiered earlier tonight so let’s let’s dive into the Diamondbacks I really like what’s going on here with Arizona so I looked at it before I came on stream we had last year the Arizona Diamondback spent $220 million that was the 2024 payroll right now the 2025 projected payroll when you include arbitration dollars is 183 so what does that tell you that tells you that Arizona’s not done that this Josh Naylor Edition which come on how now he’s not Christian Walker I’m not saying that but he is a tremendous force in the lineup he is a run driving in machine he scares the hell out of me I’m glad he’s out of the American League for at least one year him going to Arizona is a great job by them to replace Christian Walker you got to pay him final year of arbitration but even still after you do that doesn’t take the dollars to a crazy number again you’re looking at if you’re trying to stay under the luxury tax which they did last year and if they do that again this year if that’s the goal to stay under under the luxury tax for Arizona they still have like 30 to4 million to do that uh let’s see 183 we’re at 241 uh no they have they have $ 57 million to do that wouldn’t do anything Corbin they are doing things and again I don’t think they’re done when I look at the money when you look at the money the $57 million they have to play with with between now and the first luxury tax threshold and the fact that they went to 220 last year staying just under the luxury tax tells you that this Arizona team has more that they can do and the piece that heads back Slade Sone that’s a nice grab for Cleveland if you were hoping that one time Arizona top prospect who had sort of faltered at the major league level would get a good shot isn’t sending him to Cleveland about as good as it gets so like when you think of pitching development Cleveland is at the at the top of the list now we’ve had some falters lately McKenzie seems to have gone backwards Williams and Allen struggled last year but there’s a track record in Cleveland so I believe that they’ll get that on track slades to Cody a round B draft pick for what is inevitably what is what is really let’s call it what it is I this is this is most likely a rental they I won’t rule out I won’t rule out them working out an extension but if it is a rental a one-year thing this is a good job maybe slate saone never figures it out at the major league level uh that slider doesn’t work at the major leag level I don’t know maybe that comp round B draft pick completely blows up I mean it’s great value for Cleveland but if you’re Arizona you get a sure thing for two things that you don’t know anything about I like it I think it’s a great job and I think there’s more for them to do or there’s more that they can do because there is more for them to do Smith at DH no uh there needs to be an improvement there go out and get a bat this is where if you’re Arizona and you start thinking about other moves that they can make Alec Thomas unfortunately just I don’t know is it time to give up on Alec Thomas I don’t want to but we’re just not seeing it man I had high hopes for Alec Thomas but we’re just not seeing it uh maybe they want to give DH reps to D Castillo you know you want to have uh you want to have Moreno and Herrera and D Castillo all up at the same time or maybe you move on from Herrera I don’t know but you you have the DH spot for in that situation you know that yino Suarez has one more year left right do we need to look that up I think I might need to look that up to make sure uh I don’t go on a on a on a whole idea here where I got that wrong Suarez one more year 2025 $15 million they probably don’t do anything right now to impact that but if you’re Arizona and you’re thinking about what else can we do look I mean I I I think that when if you’re living in or you’re thinking about some of the big bats that are available would you rule out Arizona at this point with the money they have and how the market is playing out uh tasa Hernandez um Anthony santand there they have not signed anywhere so why not Arizona especially if Arizona has the money jerks and profar has not signed anywhere why not Arizona lordis guriel is okay with the glove really good strong arm maybe want guriel is the DH and you want you want proar and left field I I think there’s a move maybe they bring Jack Peterson back there is a move here for them to make you have replaced one of the bats right you replaced Walker with Naylor now you have to replace Jack Peterson and maybe it is by bringing Jack Peterson back but they’ve got the money and they’re obviously motivated good job by Arizona the New York Yankees got their first baseman in in Paul gold Schmid today now you wonder there have been some rumors that gold Schmid and ronado might be linked and by signing Paul goldshmid it gives you a clearer path to Nan arado if you’re the Yankees do you want to do this deal when you think about the team you got Goldie at first at here we can pull it up um here was the Tweet but at this point it’s been like 12 hours we can move on it’s $12.5 million for one year good job Goldie’s at first jazz is at second vul’s at Short Oswaldo Cabrera is at third one of these things is not like the other Oswaldo Cabrera is not a starting third baseman you can he can fill in in a pinch but he’s not a starting third baseman and Gio orella is off the board he’s going to the athletic so is there a Nolan ronado trade to happen here look the bregman thing no stop cut it down forget about it the Bad Blood there’s too much bad blood there you cannot do bregman in the Bronx I I’ll be shocked I will I don’t know what I’ll do um it’s it’s not going to happen and J shell is off the board so now if you’re looking for third base options if you’re looking to upgrade at third base you’re going to maybe move somebody to Third Base can Hong Kim play Third Base I don’t I don’t see that do you do you move jazz back to third base and you have hung Kim or you have a a glaber reunion I think the best thing to do is to find a third baseman Jazz I don’t think you want to play in third base all year Jazz at second base all year fine with the addition of Cody Bellinger after the addition of Paul goldshmid Cody’s in center field 100% of the time so there is no more moving Jazz to center field that ship has sailed you think Roger should fire head office in the Jays it’s like they run this team to fail Jays are silent no moves makes no sense I’m pissed Mike thank you for the donation you are not the only one sir there are a lot of blue jays fans pissed off including me um Des is the perfect word to describe this front office that was used by uh by by people in the industry according to Ken Rosenthal that the Jays are desperate to sign a big player I’m sorry those of you that like the Andres gimenez trade but that after reading the Ken Rosenthal piece and thinking about how the Blue Jays didn’t really need Andreas Jimenez feels desperate I’m with you man this team keeps missing out on opportunities if Christian Walker is available at three years $60 million I want my Blue Jays doing that deal now here’s the problem talk about we want our team we want these guys to go out and do things there’s a catch that is that the player has to agree to those things Christian Walker may have no interest in the Blue Jays these free agents may have no interest in the blue jce but a lot of the blame for that can be put on the front office right if Vladimir Guerrero Jr was extended if they had extended him a couple of years ago wouldn’t be a problem would not be a problem I’m with you man the front office is is just it’s just one misplaced poor decision or no not misplaced poor decision but one poor decision after after the next it’s frustrating I’m with you Mike thank you for the donation we will somehow get through we will persevere look there’s one more year of Mark and to be going into this final year after all of the ballpark Renovations that he has seen kind of sending a statement and the fact that they keep going after Otani and stto and Max freed and Corbin Burns and not not Christian Walker and Nathan naldi and Jack FL tells me is there a world where Alonzo signs a four to fiveyear deal becomes the DH and the Met sign vaty next year lindoro yentas flatty Alonzo shocked face Speedy tells me that they are just trying to trying to keep their jobs if you were smart and you were going after deals you could actually get done but maybe they’re not job security deals yes no there’s there’s a big problem here and and Mark doesn’t get his job if he is let go or not retained Atkins is gone to Mark’s got one more year Ross has two more years and Ross is a goner if Mark is a goner s is you bring in a new president Atkins is gone or or God could you imagine they let Atkins they let Ross keep his job for that one year because they don’t want to pay him okay let’s get back to let’s get back to this uh the Super Chat we’re going to get back to the Yankees in just a moment uh Robbie what’s going on man Cabrera aazza could win the job in spring training I think that I think they aim higher I think they aim higher so let’s see here [Music] um mck Lovin thank you again is there a world where Alonzo signs four to five year deal becomes a DH to met SE vlat next year with Steve Cohen and his money I don’t think we can rule anything out right you got the money Steve Cohen can do what he wants to do yes Alonzo could be your DH vlat could be your first baseman it really boils down to what is Scott Boris going to agree with if Pete Signs a four to fiveyear deal he’s going backwards from the deal that was put in front of him back in 2020 at the end of 2023 right so I don’t know is there a world where sure but I think that may be later in the off season I I got to think that that Pete and Scott are going to be trying to move forward and that kind of a deal would be moving backwards but let’s see what happens maybe this works out great for the Mets and the Mets end up signing Pete Alonzo with a Matt Chapman deal we’ll see um again good to see Robbie in here Robbie what’s going on man if you have not yet make sure you check out Robbie hide let let’s go and finish up this conversation about Third Base so you’ve got a clear possibility a clear opening I was a parza guy but I feel like the Yankees and this is what’s more important are not necessarily parza guys because why does he just not get an opportunity now maybe Jack as is at third base and perza play second you finally give him a chance to play every day Cabrera is great feel like Oswaldo Cabrera’s value is that he can play all over the place you can put him anywhere he can play everywhere except Catcher And he maybe he could even catch so his value it would would not be best suited as an everyday third baseman his versatility is key here so maybe Jazz goes to third you’ve got DJ leahu coming back Nolan arado if you can find the right trade look at the deal that they just pulled off uh for Cody Bellinger can you run something similar for Nolan arado let’s see what they do maybe look the Cardinals had to deal with the Astros where the Astros were going to pay for the overwhelming majority of that contract would the Yankees do that would the Yankees do that or would the Yankees want the Cardinals to Pony up now that goldi is in New York it is most certain that the Yankees are a potential team for Nolan ronado ARS thank you for the 12 months Bowden on CBS said Yanks told him Cabrera and the Mayu platoon well it is Jim Bowden I think time will tell I will just say this I will be surprised I’ll be surprised if Cabrera and lame who are the third base options I feel like there’s something else they could do maybe not and that Nolan Aron a trade is a difficult one to try to execute on and after that ex bregman and the and the the the the the Bad Blood there is a problem this will be one of the interesting scenarios or or or or uh uh situations to sort of monitor as we continue on here through the off SE Yankees lineup is not a playoff lineup vuli Jazz judge Goldie belly Stanton Wells Dominguez dude that’s the lineup too I don’t know I I I I um Stephen I I’ll disagree with you a little bit there this team makes the playoffs this team now that’s not really what you’re saying though you’re saying is this is this a postseason lineup there’s there’s some question marks Paul gold Schmid is you got a name there but don’t don’t think that you got a guy that uh is is going to deliver what he did a couple years ago Bellinger we all feel good about what he could do playing in Yankee Stadium but what if that what if what if he doesn’t got to give the Yan credit though they’ve done a lot they have done a lot since missing out on ju sto they have gone out there and what is this four significant moves now I like it full of names but declining players Goldie’s on the other side Bellinger could have a big year Stanton still has that pop as long as he’s a DH hey look as always the Yankees are going to be a fascinating team to follow speaking of fascinating I really liked this signing what was it an hour after Trading Naylor Jeff pass tweets that the Guardians have brought Carlos Santana back this is a great addition switch hitter he still got it good defensively good with the bat loves the clutch moments as a blue J fan I feel like he just thrives on playing the Blue Jays playing my team hitting home runs against my team in big moments Carlos Santana I think this is a great move to move right from Naylor to Santana that is how a professional well organized front office does business Naylor announced Santana announced backto back great job by Cleveland here all of this though brings us back to Pete Alonzo the impact that all of this has on Pete teams that we had maybe figured could be teams to at least drives Pete asking price up Arizona well they’re they’re done now they’re good they don’t need a first baseman Christian Walker’s off the board goes to Houston teams that need first basem when Naylor was traded you think okay well now Cleveland needs a first baseman nope no they don’t because as soon as that thought enters your mind Carlos Santana walks in the room it’s gone to the point where it’s basically Mets or bust because other teams that still need first baseman that are out there what are we doing the Seattle Mariners they’ve got Ry they’ve got options they could use Pete Alonzo but they are in a from from a money standpoint they’re not in a good place so we don’t have Pete Alonzo we’re not going to go there you’ve got uh Arizona is off the board Cleveland entered the board and left the board within an hour so it really boils down to after the Yankees signing gold Schmid it’s down to Texas and San Francisco if Texas trades low or San Francisco Isco trades Wade and I guess they don’t have to trade Wade Wade could move to a quarter Outfield spot but even then the Outfield spots are taken in San Francisco unless they trade yky so maybe Pete Alonzo can be step three to a San Francisco process where yky gets traded Wade is transitioned to a corner Outfield spot and then Pete Alonzo comes on board that’s how San Francisco happens outside of that it feels like it’s the Mets and if you get to a point if you’re Scott Boris if you’re Pete Alonzo and you’re trying to get the years you’re trying to get the dollars at the very least the years and the dollars that were already on the table once before you’ve got to have more than just one team that is actively looking for a first baseman I had worried that bregman would be the guy that turns into the the the Matt Chapman of this off season where it just feels like nobody wants him like there’s one inevitable team and that deal just isn’t happening because that team is looking at the situation saying why am I going to negotiate against myself here I I’ve got my offer on the table and that’s what it is because there’s nobody else that’s going to come along and force me to change this but that is where the alone situation sits right now the Mets are in the driver’s seat excuse me uh Professor yoshima man zardo I’m with you on that that is kind of surprising but you’ve got the DH spot and and maybe they view manzardo as a DH initially I don’t know I mean he’s he’s kind of young to just like Park him in that DH spot Zeus are the Giants going to make any moves you’re waiting I do think they will but the situation is such that it’s Corbin Burns is is is too expensive they like Sasaki sasak might be holding up the Corbin Burns market and if you’re Scott Boris I feel like constantly time and time again Boris is waiting for a path to clear and right now with Roki Sasaki probably on the giant listen anybody that’s in on Corbin Burns also going to be in on RI Sasaki and Boris is probably thinking hey once sasaki’s off the board that’s when my boy’s going to get his get his opportunity have his best chance to strike because the Giants or or anybody else the the Orioles or the Blue Jays or any whoever can no longer fall back on well we’re going to we’re going to shift our focus on Roki Sasaki that’s maybe what’s one of the elements with Corbin Burns is that sasaki’s out there he’s a lot cheaper from a talent level Supreme so if you could go that route wouldn’t you do that instead of Corbin Burns and Corbin Burns I mean have we got are we at a point where Corbin Burns is a plan B that would be on Scott Boris at this point based on Ken rosenal a week and a half or two weeks ago it’s Ken was pretty damn definite in a deal getting done and a since then we’ve heard the Blue Jays hint Ben Smith from the Blue Jays uh report rep beat reporter for again I know Ben nicholos Smith is not a well-known uh entity out there but one of the beat reporters for the Blue Jays uh alluding to the Blue Jays may be from a financial perspective not there Susan sler beat reporter covers the Giants same thing for the Giants we had to have John hayon throw the Texas Rangers situation is just getting sour every day broken heart you’re I I know man look this this feels like everything we talked about um I’m proud of my Yankees after losing out on stto I thought we were in trouble but the yanes have been the most aggressive making moves every day L Kyle they really have it’s literally been I mean Brian Cashman is all over this thing and we kind of had a feeling that now some of these these players have not been exactly uh where where it was predicted to go but the aggressiveness is exactly where we thought it would be that the Yankees if they missed out on stto Cashman would go full kid in a candy store when it comes to adding talent to his roster so this is exactly what you would hope for this is exactly what you would hope for if you are a Yankee fan that you lose want this cuz the Yankees were the only team in the equation that was actually losing something the Blue Jays didn’t have Wan sto last year the Red Sox didn’t have Juan sto the Mets didn’t have them now they do which by the way spring training at that Mets facility in March February March is going to be nuts but yes Kyle you should feel good and you’re we talked about it it just felt like it was a situation where the Dodgers are approaching this off seon as if they don’t need Phill in the blank the Devon Williams Strait how did they miss that when you look at what what what the what was sent to Milwaukee how did the Dodgers not do that how is this teoscar Hernandez this deal not done I was worried that the Michael conforto thing and the comments by Brandon Gomes at the winter meetings was almost sort of thumbing his finger uh at teoscar hernand or thumbing his nose at T Oscar Hernandez and it all kind of feels like that’s exactly what’s happening that that that that my read on the situation is exactly what’s happening uh that the Dodgers are frustrated and the Dodgers don’t need Hernandez in mind best friend Nolan l so this this whole Dodgers and teoscar thing look here’s the here’s the beauty of or not the beauty but but I guess if you’re on on teoscar side this is what’s great T Oscar’s got several suitors and I think he wants to go back to the Dodgers but he wants to be paid fairly and the Dodgers are this is my read in a mode where we we don’t need you bro like we would like to have you but we don’t need you so we’re not going to to the Need You salary instead we’re at the want you salary Which is less than the need you Kyle will they get Nolan we talked about that a few minutes ago I we looked at the Yankees Third Base situation right now it’s Oswaldo Cabrera who I maintain his value is highest when he’s in that super utility role and can play everywhere are you going to rely on DJ lameu to play a ton of Third Base this is a Yankees team that can eat the DJ lameu situation yeah he’s going to make a shitload of money but you know what he’s a DH when Stanton goes down he’s off the bench is what it is he’s veteran leadership he doesn’t have to have a starting role this is the Yankees this is not a a team that has to play guys that are making what’s what’s DJ Making $155 million a year or something in that neighborhood it’s different for the Yankees so do they go and do they go and they do they do the Nan arado thing what if I I I presented a trade here on the channel for the Dodgers and the Cardinals the Dodgers would send Chris Taylor and Tony gonan to the Cardinals the Cardinals would would send a little bit of money um and Nolan arado what if from a Yankee perspective how much money’s left on DJ lameu cont cont because the great thing about the Chris Taylor contract is that it’s you’re done you there is a club option with a $4 million buyout at the end of the season you pay him the what is he 15 million this year what you pay you pay him the salary this year and then you pay the buyout and then and you’re done let’s see could you do something similar with the Yankees and DJ lahu DJ lahu has 15 million this year 15 million next year if you’re the Yankees you’re probably not in or if you’re the Cardinals I mean you might not be too inclined to take 15 million of lahu this year and next year again the Taylor one works because it’s just that one year and then you’re done I don’t think the Cardinals want to take 15 and 15 so I I don’t see that working yeah D Rod the two years it’s too much for the Cardinals Taylor worked because it was one year now if you’re and again it was Taylor and Tony gonin so it wasn’t just Taylor for ronado it was Taylor gonin there’s the value piece for the Cardinals to take the Taylor contract to and and you get something you get a guy that’s versatile and can play and send some money with Nolan that work in my book that worked for both sides there was the value piece Tony gonlin that quite frankly the value of Tony gonin is higher with the Cardinals than it is the Dodgers the Dodgers may not have a spot for Tony gonlin in that rotation when we start up in 2025 so I I I can I I just feel like that’s that’s a play here but for the Yankees if you’re sending they really don’t have money they could send they could send strowman strowman’s 185 could pitch in their rotation but if he if he logs 140 innings in 205 it becomes an $18 million player option that doesn’t really work either the Yankees trade for no Lardo look here’s what we can all feel confident about is that with Paul gold Schmid on the Yankees we have a potential landing spot for noan he will go to the Yankees I’m pretty sure he’ll go to the Dodgers he’ll go to the team a team that is trying to win a World Series and if that team also has Paul gold Schmid that helps but the Cardinals are still involved here and the Cardinals are trying to dump the salary and while the Yankees have a loft payroll and are okay paying guys are they going to be okay paying Nolan ronado as his skills are diminishing the Astros were willing to do it are the Yankees Jack Curry said the Yankees don’t view Nolan as a fit and I trust Jack curry with about everything uh 362 chop strowman is IM movable think if the Yankees ate some of that money you could move them yank’s tired to trade strowman for arnado at the beginning of offseason according to Bon all right I you know what why do I feel like did I read that somewhere guys there’s so much stuff I have forgotten so much stuff that I have read logged and has forgotten because more stuff is being read and logged you I feel like that does sound familiar again the problem is the 185 the Cardinals probably don’t want that and they definitely don’t want the 18 million in 2026 if he pitches 140 innings in 2025 now if the Yankees are willing to send some money with that I think you could get a strowman deal done but at this point after trading Nester Cortez you kind of need strowman as your five that’s that’s that’s the situation now in New York when Cortez was still there you could deal strowman but now now I feel like you need him Clark Schmidt is a five wait a minute am I forgetting somebody hold on am I forgetting somebody you’re you’re right I don’t know why I glanced at this and I think that’s the problem um you’re right Clark Schmidt is the five Marcus strowman I don’t know why watch baseball anymore Yankees Dodgers met stack the deck what’s the point watching baseball as a fan from a small Market team Money Talks uh Mike who’s your team Mike you commented earlier about the Blue Jays I think you can still watch baseball you look um we had the Arizona Diamondbacks in the world series two years ago I agree with you it’s frustrating that is where you have you have these cheap skate owners that don’t want to spend money man this is just not the place for you at some point maybe it was but these days cheap skate owners this is into place for you and maybe some of them get pushed out with the next CBA because we’re going to have owners bickering with each other you’re going to have the Dodgers and you’re going to have the Mets and you’re going to have the Yankees those owners are going to be sitting in a room with the guys who own uh the A’s and the Pirates and the Rockies and they’re going to look at him and say don’t look at spend your money dude that’s the message um even in these small markets you got owners with money Robbie’s got it Cole freed rhon heel Schmidt strowman fan graphs for some reason has Schmid out of the bullpen I think I glanced at that and just kind of kept moving real quick yeah I I don’t know what they do if they’re going to take on Nolan ronado money I don’t know if they can also then go pay for Marcus strowman to go away I can tell you being a Reds fan that was born in 199 sucks smiley face I haven’t seen a lot of winning baseball Nick thank you for the donation Reds have an exciting team I guess the the hard part is you think Yankees have chance at Sasaki I hope I if you’re if you’re hoping to win the World Series it’s just this the deck is stacked right now you can compete in your division uh I think you can compete in your division uh a couple years ago the Reds just like they just got rid of anybody that that made that made money uh I remember they basically gave ryel glacius away for nothing but now there’s some exciting baseball with the with the teams like the Reds and Nick this is just what it feels like those teams go through Cycles whereas the Yankees and the Dodgers because of the money and the Mets because of the money they won’t go through Cycles they will constantly be there but the Reds the Blue Jays the Rockies the Tigers the Diamondbacks will go through Cycles the Jays make a ton of money for Rogers tell me what the hell is going on uh Kyle real quick your Super Chat first do I think they have a chance at Roki Sasaki yeah I think they have a chance definitely uh William thank you for your donation that I have said said and I maintain that when you are treating your team like a business which is what the Blue Jays what Rogers is doing when you treat it like a business you pass on certain opportunities to make your team better overpaying for the top free agent extending your star are player when you should have done it two years ago you treat it like when you are an owner and you are trying to treat this thing like a business when you are trying to turn a profit on your baseball team that’s when I think you get that that’s one of the ways that’s another way you get in trouble I’m a Canadian born and raised the blues Jays have a country as a fan not just a city Rogers killed baseball in Canada we need to boycott Rogers Mike is pissed what I’m learning in this in this live stream thank you Mike for the donation Blue Jays fans are pissed and I’m with you but you guys are so pissed that you’re you’re you’re you’re investing super chats to explain how pissed you are uh it’s it’s not good right now can you make sure the Mariners front office is still alive when will we do something in free agency anything can you be our owner in GM Jim the I can I can feel the frustration tonight from these fan bases yeah the uh look uh Mike I think this boils down to Mark Shapiro Mark Shapiro ever you want to say it I think it boils down to him he’s got to go Alex anopolis was there things turned around imagine if he had stayed there and that was a Rogers decision or was it a Rogers board decision to to bring Mark shapy shapy Shapiro tomato tomato to bring him in and you know Alex anthopoulos was gone and he brought his boy Ross from Cleveland Michael are Michael Hyde and Robbie Hyde are you guys Brothers question I pretty sure I know the answer to that but I’m curious maybe cousins can you make sure the Mayers front office is still alive this is the problem um the Mariners don’t have the money to go out and make a splash and now we we are seeing the the dream of the crop get bypassed right we’re seeing deals we’re seeing Carlos Santana go before Pete Alonzo we’re we’re seeing teams go around Corbin Burns and Jack flarity so and they’re going around teoscar Hernandez and Anthony sond Deere the Mariners to improve their club though they have to try to get to the top get that Luis Castillo deal done man if I was the Seattle Mariners general manager Louis Castillo would be gone Castillo would be gone I would have brought a bat back in return and I would have signed a what the Yanks did it would be low Mets it would go down as the worst pivot job in history Williams is the onl good player they brought in Sean thank you for the donation we got one from Robbie coming in to go to see right tour out look the hitter’s eye that is all I’ve heard that is all I’ve seen about this thing there is a there is a batter’s eye hitter’s eye problem in Seattle so free agents are going to resist you’re going to have to trade for guys I don’t know build a new eye out there in center field what are you got to do the Orioles keep moving their damn left field fence in and out to try to appeal to free agents Seattle I don’t know put up a a different wall out there do something I remember Des went down to the wire with the socks on his extension do you see any parallel with the JS very interesting Phil that’s a great one I want to I’m going to talk about that but I want to get to Sean first Sean if the Mets did what the Yankees did it would be LOL Mets it would go down as the worst pivot job in history Williams is the only good player they brought in Cody Bellinger is a very polarizing figure I think he’s going to be better in that Stadium than he was in Chicago so getting 81 games at Yankee Stadium is important glaver Torres has benefited from playing in that ballpark if Cody Bellinger can manipulate the dimensions of that Park specifically right field Cody Bellinger could do well Cody Bellinger’s good defensively I think Cody Bellinger will be better with the Yankees than he was with the Cubs so that’s an upgrade yes Williams was a great addition and I give them an A+ for the trade I think Paul gmid is a great Buy Low piece remember the Yankees can also be in on the Vladimir Guerrero junr sweep Stakes next year so by bringing Paul Goldman in for one year that may also be impacting Pete’s Market there may be teams that are looking at Pete say I don’t know do I want to give him six or seven years when vlat is going to be a free agent next year I look if I’m general manager I’m finding Carlo Santana uh Paul gold Schmid if I think I can make a run at Vladimir Guerrero Jr next off season I’m I’m skipping Pete and I’m grabbing the one-year guy so I like the Paul gold Schmid Edition for for multiple facets Max freed is great yes you can argue the years went long but it’s the strategy instead of having the high aav for the shorter years they go longer years to thin out the inye the year-to-year investment the the the dollar attachment I I can’t say that I cannot Sean I I have to disagree with you there I I I respect your opinion uh but I’m going to go uh a different way with that I think that what the what the Yankees have done uh has been good and if if anybody went lol Mets on a Yan a Mets pivot that would be to this degree it would just be fans from other teams trying to get under your skin I have already made the proclamation LOL Mets is dead forever so Sean thank you for the donation man Robbie again thank you for the donation we had another one from Phil this is a good one Phil good one the difference between oh man I should Robbie I should call you I should get your opinion on this I feel like that Des thing had been sort of looming and lingering and almost felt like it was inevitable like it had to happen from a blue jay’s perspective with with vlat the inevitability isn’t that they need to do this the inevitability is that vlat is going to leave because of the sto thing if de that offseason that they were talking about the extension had watched insert the top free agent of the time was that the year when all the Short Stops were free agents I’m trying to remember was that the same year as like Korea because Barts left and they gave de the money right am I right on that if if if somebody correct me on that am I right on that let’s say that was the year if that same offseason that they were negotiating the de contract Carlos kareah had gotten a $600 million contract Des would have said no thanks so that is that is a that is a major factor here the SoDo Money Jim I bet Bobby Whit Jr is questioning himself on signing the extension you disagree with me on the contract Lamar I think you’re right I think the SoDo contract and the sto money May create a shift where before SoDo pre sto you could get your young players to sign these 10-year extensions buy out their arbitration give them more money give them guaranteed money and it works well right works for the team they’re taking on some risk what if you get hurt what if you suck works well for the player I’m getting my money now and if all if if if happens hey I got I got my money cring is some bro for your grind keep it up this is definitely Lamar I mean Bobby Wht those deals certainly there may be some regret cuz Bobby Whit Jr oh my God cuz you used to you used to think you got to pitch and hit to get this money wanto change that Bobby Jun who’s finishes fifth in the AL East be brave now Bobby Whit Jr would have been easily $600 million yes Lamar I I am with you on that Mill 2K1 thank you for the donation I appreciate it man thank you thank you for being here thank you for the donation thank you for being here thank you for supporting appreciate it man uh William a week has gone by so who finished fifth in the AL East it’s between the Blue Jays and the Rays the Rays could still make more trades to get worse if the Rays trade yany Diaz if the Rays trade Brandon laau I don’t think they’re going to trade any more pitchers but if they trade another bat I think it’s the Ray I do Kevin cash be damn I know Kevin cash is is a is a managerial Messiah but I don’t know if he can get that team because keep in mind what the AL East is going to be it’s going to be three teams vying for a playoff spot Red Sox Yankees Orioles as the three in my mind and then two more teams one of them going to be hanging around 500 maybe creeping up a little bit the Toronto Blue Jays could be that team if everything goes right for them B bounces back if the pitching stays healthy if vlat has another monster year if one of those young players takes a step low peredo or Wagner or anybody that they’ve called up a Barger if they take if they get a step a sizable step from any of those young guys the Blue Jays could be a team that creeps up uh and Rises north of that 500 level and then you’ll have the rays which I think the Rays could linger around 500 the Rays could be the I mean let’s let’s think about it NL East Marlins NL Central NL Central is going to be interesting NL Central is going to be very interesting NL Central may have a claim for this title um NL West Rockies and uh AL Central white socks AL West so um Athletics is going to be better here’s what I’ll say the alast will probably have the best last place team and it’ll be the Rays and they’ll win 77 games C Jazzy the Blue Jays are interested in Ryan Hy I saw that the Blue Jays you know they’re going to have to make some trades I think the free agent route is going to be very difficult for them to navigate I think they have to make trades what if the Blue Jays traded for Nolan ronado that’s not going to happen specifically because Nolan wants to go to a team that is in it to win it and while the Blue Jays want to say they are in it to win it they’re not showing their in it to win it with desperate trades for andrees Jimenez if you build a stout Bullpen helsley will help but because look the the Toronto Blue Jays will have a good rotation if you have a lights out Bullpen you have one of the best defensive teams in baseball that gets you to that alone those three out of the four fastest the other fourth being hitting get you to 500 you want to take a chance and and try to win the American League East figure out the hitting get that lineup to a place that scares people and all of a sudden you’re looking at a 90 win team I mean Seattle dealt with all sorts of struggles with their bats they were great their pitching was phenomenal defense they’ve got good pieces they’ve got some not so good pieces that was enough Toronto’s got to get the bats going have to get the bats going Royals have been good getting ahead of extensions and free agent signings with Piccolo as GM Whit Lugo watcha as examples expect Ragin extension RS thank you for the donation Royals have done a great job I really like what the Royals have done I respect the hell out of the Royals and what they have done from a front office strategy I would really like the icing on the cake would be if they can go out there go make a splash what’s the payroll right now I got to look it up I got to look up the payroll I’ll race you guys who can find the KC payroll faster than me let’s see Kansas City payroll for how many of you are on your phone they’re like you son of a the Kansas City payroll is at 149 in 2025 there’s room go get will win World Series in 2025 LOL could you imagine if this Kansas City team added Anthony santand there could you imagine it India Whit pastino Perez I like Massie and you have sanir that’s your first six and then your the the the the other three Melendez Garcia isbel if Melendez can bounce back and give you what maybe we thought he would give you when he first came up I would really like that that it’s time if you’re Kansas City it’s time to make a splash Royals need Rooker the problem Hep is that the A’s they that there is no Rooker trade to be had it’s not going to happen I had been holding out hope I missed the Super Chat hold on Kyle Yankees will win the World Series in 2025 LOL the Kansas uh the the the I was just reading it the r Super Chat again the Yankees we’ll see we’ll see Kyle thank you for the donation all right so let me get back to your thing um the Kansas City Royals if you add Anthony santand there you’ve got him say you got give him five years now the way the Market’s gone could you give him four could you give him four and like beef up the aav and eliminate that fifth year you bet santon d he’s your right fielder and Jonathan India how long you got India for you got it for 2025 and you got arbitration three in 2026 and he’s not a super two right no so you got two years of Jonathan India right now on fan graphs we have Jonathan India identified as the DH which probably tracks Massie is a second base Whit is a short stop pastino’s first base um Garcia is your third base there’s no Indie is your DH for for two years it’s good bat you have San Daren rightfield for two years and then as he needs to transition to the DH role guess whose time is coming to an end in Kansas City Jonathan India opens it up for sere to be the DH I don’t think you’re G to get uh Rooker because in Oakland this is where I wanted to go a minute ago not in Oakland but in sack toown the Athletics are building something that’s going to be interesting Butler Rooker blade langers I’m still a Sodom guy I’m still a Goff guy 2025 could be big years from those two the GE orella Edition is great I wanted that for the Yankees but great for the Athletics Wilson’s got some game Jacob Wilson’s 22 years old guys they’ve added srino in Springs to the top of that rotation at some point and and maybe it’s not in 2024 or 2025 maybe it’s in 2026 at some point I got to think Mason Miller’s moving into the rotation so if you have a rotation and maybe they do it this year maybe maybe we find out in Spring trading the A’s are going to transition Mason Miller to the rotation Miller Springs srino Sears you’re putting together a team that’s competitive I don’t think Rooker going anywhere because it feels like the A’s are trending up and to trade Rooker now would be a mistake could you trade Brent Rooker at the trade deadline The Season’s fizzling away if you’re taking phone calls and the return is right you can get two pieces that help you along the way rooker’s having a monster year he’s going to hit 50 homers can you turn Brent Rooker into a bat and a pitcher you might be able to at the deadline I’m just going to check see if there’s anything new going on do we have anything from anybody my phone’s not working son of a Royals originally had Rooker and DFA him yeah still mad about that one of Dayton Moore’s last bad decisions does Brent Rooker I mean this is a question does Brent Rooker become the player he is today if he’s not working with that athletic staff gotta I I always it’s it’s it is and I do it too you look at a player that leaves and goes somewhere else and you’re like damn it but you don’t know if he would have become that where you are or with with with your team uh you you see it you see it happen regularly a player goes somewhere else and then all of a sudden they find it that’s just that’s just one of those things I think you go to you got to give credit to the coaching the development The Scouting figuring out if you do this not this do this with your hands do this with whatever you go you go through all of the different quirks and all of the different mechanics what if there was a guy in O in in Oakland that was like What if you did this Brent what if you looked at this spot when the pitcher was coming around with his wind up and you started to move when the pitcher was doing this and then all of a sudden oh yeah that’s it uh there’s so many different elements to that I think there uh Thrills you’ve you’ve watched a couple catchers right you had Lang leers you had contarus they moved on because you had Murphy now I think Murphy’s Murphy is going to have a bounce back in 2025 I think he’s he’s too good Shawn Murphy’s too good to do that again but you look at contaras it’s pretty damn good you look at what Lang aers is doing with the A’s it’s pretty good Jack you think the Yankees have won the off seon that’s a good question from a number of impactful moves they’re leading in the clubhouse but what the Cubs have done getting Kyle Tucker what the Astros have done getting ESO turning Kyle Tucker into ESO parades uh and a prospect and getting Christian Walker and the big one winning the Juan stto sweep Stakes which don’t don’t forget what that does yes that impacts you right now but that’s also going to help you bring free agents in what’s the big problem with the Toronto Blue Jays they don’t have their Superstar locked up long term so what’s the future there you look at the New York Mets they’ve got Lindor locked up they’ve got stto locked up you know what the future is you know for the next 15 years this Mets team is going to be World Series or Bust It is guaranteed there will be no years like last year where they take a year off and still end up in the NLCS but that is giving you a sense of where this team is headed so that helps you bring in more Talent When Vladimir Guerrero Jr if he does not sign an extension with the Toronto Blue Jays which I don’t think he’s going to I think it would be a looking from If he if he’s making it all about the money uh it would be a mistake to sign an extension with the Blue Jays because he would get more on the open market but if he loves Toronto if everything he has said in the past is really how he feels in his heart well then sign an extension for $400 million leaving potentially another 100 million on the table but if you love Toronto and you love the fan base sign it I digress stto gives you the oddson favorite to sign Vladimir Guerrero Jr next year I would not have given the Mets the that that that favorite label for vlat if they didn’t have stto if stto had gone to Boston I would have probably figured that Boston would be the favorite for vlat too you put vlat des and sto together if stto had gone to the Phillies probably putting the Phillies as a favorite for vlat that schwarber contract’s gonna end Harper can go be DH vlat can be your first baseman there’s a way the real Muto money is going to come off the books Bill the Mets have no pitching by the way yeah what the hell is going on what in the name of David Sterns on steroids is going on this man is what do you think is your Bobby sh to the Dodgers finally going to come through what do the Dodgers have to give up Big Bad Brad thank you for that donation I’m working on actually I have recorded it it is teed up for tomorrow we will see if it actually runs or if I need to change it I have teed up a bashet trade machine video and we do dig into a Dodgers trade I have the Dodgers trading Gavin Lux and Tony gunzelin for bobette are you doing that any of my Dodger fans that are here would you do Lux and gulin for B one year a bow you can try to get an extension done mooki can play second you don’t have to worry about mooki taking a thousand grounders every single day just to be solid with the glove at Short he can play second B can play short you’re doing that deal we’re getting some positives I would do that now baseball trade values doesn’t look so good uh Gavin Lux has a very high value Gavin Lux has a $16 million value Bo has like a $6 million value and then gin’s there with $2 million so it doesn’t work but what happens is needs are being addressed and met Blue Jays get the pitcher they’re trying to get a pitcher they’re trying to get Corbin Burns they’re trying to get Max freed they’re they’re linked to all the pitching Tony gonin is still a good pitcher and if gonin comes to Toronto he’s healthy he’s going to be ready gonin comes to Toronto is pitching towards the back of that rotation pitches well is inserted or slotted in towards the top of the rotation uh in 2026 when Basset leaves and who knows what’s happening with the rest of the group at that point but I think there’s a move there I think I think that that is one of the potential moves I have six six trades that we will look at in the Bo bashet trade machine video that again the plan is for that to drop tomorrow it has been uh recorded uploaded it is sitting in my YouTube draft folder and that should be tomorrow some point Dodgers have too many MLB ready prospects without spots in the lineup SL rotation Big Bad Brad is on board thank you for the donations man no I I think when when you get to a point where this is this is the scenar iio in La lux’s value and galin’s value is lower than it would be with the Blue Jays the value would be higher for those two players in Toronto than they are currently with the Dodgers because of all of the talent there’s nowhere for gonin if Tony gonlin is in the starting rotation for the Dodgers when the season starts it’s because of injuries otherwise he’s pitching out of the bullpen or he’s traded Gavin Lux we can see a path for Gavin Lux to be in the roster or in the lineup if mook’s going to be the short stop and there is no Nolan Aron a trade so max Muny is indeed the third baseman Max is third Mook is short Lux is second that’s how that goes uh did I miss the Super Chat uh so big bad Brad I got your super chats and that was everything yes thank you again thank you Brad I appreciate it I can see it Liberty you want glaber as an angel well what about Ren heo right where’s Ren heo playing then hold on a minute look it up we got Ren heo because Short Stop is Netto and your Outfield is kind of overflowing right now if you want Mickey moniac out there on the regular I I think now now now glaber glaber only goes to the angels if a move happens if the Angels trade Taylor Ward or the Angels trade Ren heo then maybe that could happen otherwise I don’t think this could truly be a destination because I don’t see the need here maybe they want him that’s a whole another conversation but from a need perspective I don’t see it Ren heo is your second baseman n’s your sword stop randone whether you love it or hate it is your third baseman shenell is your first baseman Sol’s at DH I don’t like that I went trout at DH but that’s what it is right now that’s why I think you need to trade Taylor Ward because Taylor Ward actually has of of all of the outfielders of your of of your real trade pieces players you could really trade Taylor Ward’s the guy that has the most value Taylor Ward could be a met Taylor Ward is the piece because then love it or hate it I’m putting Solair in the Outfield I’m putting Solair in right I’m putting Adele in the left Mike Trout is my DH and my center fielder is Mickey moniac I want Mike Trout as a DH and I know his injuries have come at bat right but let’s take the wear and tear of any defensive element to his game out of the equation that is my feeling on that I I want Mike try to DH let’s see Mike Trout God there’s even a um oh this thing hates my ad blocker every single time okay hold on I’m G have to pull it up on a different computer I think I got an ad blocker on that one too hold on I’ve lost track of all the Mike Trout injuries this one actually does not have an ad blocker so let’s see CBS had a rundown of all of his injuries so Mike Trout let’s go to the most recent 2024 was the torn meniscus in April torn miniscus did not happen on a specific play he felt the soreness in his left knee in the third inning that’s wear and tear man again get him out of the field that is a wear and tear after a few days of rest trying to rehab the sword is returned that’s a wear and tear 2023 it was the broken hemate swinging hitting that’s bad luck 2022 back inflammation sore back what do they call it castr verbial dysfunction fancy way a fancy name for a sore back I’m G to start saying that I’m G to start using that what’s wrong I got a cover verbial dysfunction it’s great calf strain in 2021 missed 139 days and I think that was not necessarily tied to in the field 2017 a torn thumb ligament that was sliding into a base half of the injuries are wear and tear sour vanilla Seattle won’t do because 10 million is too much for them Seattle’s just out of money Seattle’s Seattle just doesn’t have the money Drew you do not like ESO parades I actually do I’m an ESO parades guy now you’re saying he’s overrated I guess the question is where do you rate him so I believe ESO parades let’s see here actually let’s pull it up real quick ESO parades can we get it from here there it is let’s pull it up real quick is ESO parades overrated one thing I like and I sort of jump to First is this stuff down here these four numbers these four metrics Chase rate whiff rate K rate walk rate that I refer to as your plate approach metrics and if you are 88 81 93 percentile on whiff K and walk and on your Chase rate you are above League average by 12 points that would be everybody’s familiar with Ops plus these days right that would be a Chase rate plus of 11 could you rank the cheapest owners in MLB oh God William just give me a second give me a second um thank you for the donation give me a second this is a guy if you’ve got plate discipline like that and you’ve got 30 Homer potential like we saw in 2023 8840 Ops guys he’s 25 years old this a good player Fielding okay not so great arm strength for me that would be great at the major league level that sucks the range again you didn’t get him for his defense you got him for his Bat you are looking for that 30 Homer potential with the plate approach of this significantly above League average Barrel R’s not great hard hit rat’s not great in 2024 2023 it wasn’t that great but remember where he’s now playing his home games what was it is it’s not going to be the juice box anymore it’s going to be the ice box right he’s going to do fine there ESO parades book it 30 homers for the Astros his Ops will be in the 800s now if you’re getting him and you’re thinking he’s going to be a 40 Homer guy that he’s only going to get better that he’s going to do better than he did in 2023 uh because he’s 25 and he’s just he’s going to keep getting better well let’s slow down there I think the bar should be let’s try to get back to 2023 numbers 250 batting 350 on base a 488 slug that’s a nice 100 100 130 Point jump getting us to an 840 Ops that’s great with this kind of played approach I like it the cheapest owners William I got to have the Pittsburgh Pirates at the top of this list um already after one year of Mitch Keller and it wasn’t even a significant dollar year like the first year of that contract which was arbitration to for Mitch Keller he only made 5 million bucks this is the first year where the dollars get significant take a major jump I believe it goes up to 14 or 15 or 16 something like that which would have been his final year of arbitration now all of a sudden there’s Mitch Keller trade rumors now maybe because they have so much talent at the minor minor league level they’ve got three top five three of their top five prospects are pitchers and they’re all ready or close to ready so if you’re going to trade somebody trade the guy that’s making the most money Seattle’s trying to do that with Luis Castillo but I feel like it’s got to be Pittsburgh the Rody tles story if anybody didn’t hear that Rody Tes was what 12 at bats away from a what was it 250 or 300 or a half a million dollar bonus gave you a full season Rody tles did and the purpose of that bonus is to reward the player for giving you a full season because that meant we didn’t have to dip into other guys and start service time for other guys and pivot and react to a a a injury riddled first Bas situation no this guy bailed us out instead instead the Pirates decided that they were going to let him go so Bob nutting decided the plan was now let’s just release him so he doesn’t get that bonus I think he’s got to be the cheapest owner of Major League Baseball anybody else Bill I’m a liar what are you talking about from what how somebody tell me Bill neber enlighten me tell me how I am a liar oh Brad that’s a good one that’s a good one the A’s they’re spending money now but I’m with you all you have Pittsburgh well see Colorado though Colorado they spent money on Christmas Bryant they gave a a bunch of money to their starting pitchers I would actually bump Colorado back I would go Pittsburg Oakland the white socks see what’s interesting about the white socks they’re in Chicago they’re not supposed to be a team that so frequently goes through these waves so I I I think I’ll rock with you on the white need to see mat’s pitching moves soon will we I know Peter I know I know I I got to think there’s a splash there has to be one right bill says that I’m lying because I’m refusing to admit that jazz Chism plays third Bill have you been in and out of the streams that much that you have not heard me refer to Jazz as a third baseman I’m saying that I don’t want Jazz as a third baseman I want a better be better at proar and trade it for Aras instead of signing Goldie all Bill seriously man there’s a disconnect bro I’m not going to get on you about it I think there’s a disconnect there’s an AB let’s give Bill I’m feeling generous tonight let’s give Bill the benefit of the doubt there is look we’ve been going for an and I’m going to get to the super chats in just a minute and I have realized this over the time reading the comments reading live chats reading comments on videos there is so much time on these streams and videos and so much is said that it is so incredibly easy to miss significant chunks of what we talk about and what I say so while we have talked about the Yankees third basem I feel a lot Bill probably has missed a lot of it because Bill isn’t here living on my shoulder cuz Bill’s probably got other things to do I’ll say this I feel like lying is not something that I would be known for and my feeling bill and I’ll scroll down I’ll look at the chat in a minute and see what everyone else is saying is that jazz Chism is better for the Yankees at second base and they bring somebody else in to play Third Base now maybe it’ll be Cabrera maybe it’ be perazza maybe it’ be DJ lahu but Jazz Chisum if you’re the Yankees and you’re trying to put a better defensive unit out there I think jazz is better at second base that doesn’t mean they won’t play him at third base I even said in this stream that jazz could stay at third and they could go parza at second we’ll give Bill a break uh let’s see uh Peter I gotta think something’s happening soon I I I I I wish I look I I’m not connected to insiders and Executives and all that but I got to think something’s happening soon uh Todd let me go up would the Yankees be better if they signed profar and traded for arise instead of signing Goldie I feel like the outfield’s kind of set right now for the Yankees you have got to you have got what was that uh you’re yes Bill I’m sorry man Jack Curry said jazz is at third hey man I’m a I’m a jack Curry guy and similar to you Gilbert for leaders ctio I am I’m in on Jack Curry but I don’t catch everything from Jack Curry Jack Curry’s got him at third if Jack Curry’s got Jazz at third then that’s the deal who’s at second is it pza I would like it to be pza think the problem is the Yankees have more Third Base options than they do second base options is that where we’re at uh let me get to a couple super chats here uh y thank you for the donation uh b d b do m one second we have got to get to Todd Todd thank you for that donation I want to see Dominguez play every day so after signing Cody Bellinger now if you left Cody If he if Cody Bellinger was gonna play first and not Center if that was what was going to happen then you you can’t you can’t have arise in the equation because if arise is in the equation that’s your first baseman Cody’s in center field there’s no room for profar because judges in right and in left field it’s time let the Martian play has to right so but but but here’s an interesting element would it have been better just straight up trade for Louis arise instead of signing Goldie what’s the trade package that is required at that point what are the Padre’s asking for the Padres are asking for too much for theis Rise then Goldie was the move I don’t think you can have a world where you get a first baseman like arise and you also get profar because signing arise moves Bellinger to the Outfield if you don’t have aise and you don’t have Goldie you have an outfield spot because again goldi could play first base even though it has been said that goldi or not goldi but Bellinger was going to be Bellinger was going to be in the Outfield Todd thank you for the donation mantis you’re good you’re good mantis mantis you have been around here longer than bill has Bill we’re we’re willing to uh uh to to to to wrap our arms around you give you a big hug and move on we can hug this out I don’t know why we why Bill’s got to be arguing with me and people in the chat about who’s playing third for the New York Yankees bill you know that jazz is versatile right and Jazz can play lots of places and Jack Curry may have said that jazz chism’s the third baseman but what is said today there is so much runway for things to change my man I I I bleed Jack Curry blood okay in this in this this off seon of uncertainty and craziness and leverage and rumors Jack Curry is one of The Shining lights and you’ve probably never heard me say that before but there are those of you in here that have heard me say that before Jack Curry is one of the most trusted people out here and if Jack Curry saying jaz’s going to play Third Base roll on I believe the infield would be better if Jazz was at second and they had a different option at third base but I will say this when we look at the situation here Cabrera does Cabrera play second I think this isn’t this is fan graphs right now so fangraphs is probably taking Liberty here feeling like Jaz the best defense is to have Jazz at second and Cabrera perza maybe DJ maybe a third if you’re going to have DJ play do you have him play Third Base here’s what I think based on this roster if we don’t see many changes moving forward if they don’t go get Nolan ronado if they don’t bring glaber back if they don’t uh sign Hassan Kim which that could still happen and I’ll sign me up for that one if they don’t do any of those things and this is what they roll with I think second base and third base could be a revolving door Jazz Cabrera perza DJ just it’s it’s who’s doing it better when it comes to second base and third base for the New York Yankees still think you should have signed Gio or shella that is what that is what I would have liked that would have been good RS Jazz could move jazz can move all over the place Jazz can play center Jazz can play second Jazz can play Third don’t want him it short but Corner Outfield if you if you need jazz in left I can see him out there if you need him in left jazz is versatile you can’t DFA DJ he’s got two years left too much money too much money is Cabrera bad Cabrera’s value in my opinion is highest if he’s in a spot where he can play everywhere he’s a kind of guy as Waldo Cabrera can play 30d he can play second he play he short he could play The Outfield positions Oswaldo Caba could play everywhere tying him down to third base again this is just fan graphs Fang graphs is not the endall Beall we are going to have a a a Yankees Third Base situation again which I think could be very fluid DJ leahu Oswell perza who’s coming up let’s see we’ve got there’s nobody really coming up they’d have to go out and sign somebody yeah there’s nobody coming up it’s really between for third base it Jazz Oswaldo Oswald DJ Leu that’s going to be your second base Third Base revolving if the Yankees be in Tor boss K because there was a space in between a couple of the words it really threw off the text to talk uh let’s see Israel what do I think if the Y bring Tori back don’t think that’s going to happen uh Tori is done managing cheddar bregman Mets saw uh Michael oh boy M Michael Mayer Michael Meer tweeted today and and Marino retweeted it that they have a source or he has a source the Mets are still in play for bregman it’s really interesting that it’s it’s two Boris clients and the Mets are linked you to to both of them they they can’t sign both of them I feel like bregman to the Mets all right here’s what I’ll say about the Mets I want Luis anhel aunia to be the second baseman that’s what I would like to see if I’m a Mets fan I also have Ronnie Mauricio coming back so if Luis on H aunia stinks and I got to move him to the bench or I got to move him to back down to Triple A I got Ronnie Mauricio all right so I want to I want to be able to explore my options internally and if bregman’s going to get in the way at second base that’s a problem or bregman’s my third baseman and Mark Vientos is going to slide over to First at that point I have to ask myself if I’m a Mets fan do I want Alex bregman for six or seven years $200 million at as my third baseman and Vientos as my first baseman or do I want Vientos as my third baseman and Vladimir Guerrero Jr as my first baseman because in my mind I’m hung up on I’m stuck on the Mets won’t have both the Mets won’t have bregman and Vladimir Guerrero Jr remember this is this is David Sterns that we’re talking about here he they went crazy for stto that’s a Cohen thing this is David Sterns I feel like they’ll go crazy for vlat and that’s going to be a Cohen thing I don’t think bregman’s a real chance now do they have interest okay sure yes I will buy that he has interest uh but I I think David Sterns probably talks him out of it David Sterns probably reminds him hey you know vlat is’s a free agent next year right and that’s where the interest ends oh yeah that’s right I keep forgetting sorry I I get I’m hung up that’s what I think uh do I think uh brav SS do I think Lopez to the Braves could work it’s a lot of money for Lopez these next couple of years I wouldn’t do it I think there’s better options I think there’s better options okay wait guys is Bill still doing his thing bill Bill enough dude we’ve got um mods in here Brave Thrills will do it there’s other ones Bill if if you keep doing it man they know what to do just just stop man it’s over it’s over somebody had a real actually something in here where was it um because it’s spam at this point it’s it’s spam at this point where was it where was it somebody had something John’s got it say John again they’ll just put an end to it dude it’s spam where was Red Sox there it was Drew or the Red Sox going to pay anyone talking about bregman I am curious if the Red Sox will spend the money on Alex bregman and is Alex bregman man I talk about bregman Mets vlat Mets is vladim is is Vladimir Guerrero Jr’s looming free agency I am certain it has an impact on Pete Alonzo’s Market why would you sign Pete for six or seven years right now when you can give vlat the money next year could it also impact bregman and what I mean by that is the money if you give if you’re the Red Sox and you’re thinking about your budgets over between now and the next 5 years you’re looking at your plan do you want to sink money into bregman when next year you can make a run at Vladimir Guerrero Jr if the boss and you’re the boss of Red Sox and if you don’t think Boston will be all over Vladimir Guerrero Jr you’re crazy because they will would you do you want to have bregman on that team taking up $25 million a year I don’t know if they would you have to move and and also you bring bregman on board Des is going to first there’s a problem talk about bregman going to second base okay it feels like bregman could be impacted by vlat uh duel my team I’m a blue jays fan I wonder if for a team like boss’s sake because if we’re thinking about teams that are going to go after Vladimir Guerrero Jr in the off season so let’s say vlat stays with Toronto does not sign an extension and plays a little Third Base too let’s add that into the equation because he’s open to it and they threw him out there for a small sample size last year and he came up as a third baseman so for the sake of making is really interesting let’s add the idea of vlat as thir third baseman so you got vlat with third base we’ll call it eligibility teams that would be in on vlat as a first baseman or a third baseman knowing that shortly after like DH is is is po is the future Boston that’s a bregman team I’m going through looking at these teams the Yankees so we got Boston the Yankees that may be where it stops in the American League when we’re thinking about need and money look there’s there’s fits from a a perspective of juicing the lineup uh open first base all that there’s fits with other teams but we’re talking about who swims in the deep end in the American League it’s Boston and it’s New York in the National League any surprise teams here um I wonder what Atlanta would do now those that aren’t familiar Alex anthopoulos is the reason why Vladimir Guerrero Jr is a blue jay I know that in Atlanta you’ve got a Riley you’ve got Matt Olen but if you’re hearing a ton of rumors about vlat going to the Mets and pairing up with W stto do you want to try to stop that pair him up with Ronald aunia Jr and maybe that means you have to trade Austin Riley vaty plays third base for a couple years and then and stop Gap signing for those wanting Vlad next year yes all right ask 100% if you see the New York Mets if they announce that Anthony Rizzo is coming to Queens then you that that is basically the Met saying we are interested in Vladimir we are we are going for Vladimir Guerrero Jr next year so in the National League Boston again that’s a bregman team the Yankees the Yankees have been mentioned with bregman as well um again too much bad blood there can’t see it Atlanta could be a vlat team again it would probably require uh Austin Riley trade or maybe they would just say hey Riley Olson vlat one of you are going to DH cuz the zun’s contract comes off the books oh man would the Cubs spend the money they say they got the money I I’ll I’ll include the Cubs in the equation I think the Cubs would would try would would want to get in on that too the Dodgers again if vlad’s playing third for the Blue Jays in 2025 and he’s showing he can do it the Dodgers will be in then the Mets the Phillies boy there’s a ton of national league teams that would be in on him San Francisco wow you would have it my read on this Atlanta Chicago La New York Philly five San Francisco six and then the two teams in the American League the Yankees in the Red Sox and when we think about bregman destinations there’s a couple of bregman teams in there and do they want to lock him in for six or seven years north of 200 million doll when they’re thinking about vlat John I’m with you man this offseason has been a lot of fun this has been a lot of fun there’s been a lot to talk about I have to you know distance myself with the whole vlat stuff because I I have to put my hat on I have to put my MLB hat on because that’s exciting as hell from a perspective of a Vladimir Guerrero Junior Chase and pursuit and sweep Stakes that’ll be huge as a blue jays fan that hurts I have to really separate the two Jay’s fan versus just in love with with the game and the league because I obviously want him back with the Blue Jays yes Brave spills for some people John good point it is it hasn’t been so exciting for everybody it hasn’t been a lot of fun for everybody that’s true but if you are able to look at the league top down see what’s going on the Athletics are making moves the sto sweep Stakes was awesome these trades that we have seen go down I mean killing it and and we’re not done that’s what’s great is that there are a ton of moves there is it is going to be a very interesting what do we think when when does it slow down I think January is going to be very interesting I’m wondering so we’ve got tomorrow we could see see see why does why has NFL Sundays like it’s drying up it’s like everyone what the agents and the players are all watching football they’re like n we’ll worry about that on Monday it’s it’s become like a a a a desert for MLB on Sundays it’s just all about football so tomor but but the see the problem is tomorrow is a key day between now and Christmas you have Monday maybe you can see a little bit of activity on Monday but then once you get into Christmas Eve on Tuesday it could really slow down but after Christmas maybe things pop up I just wonder what January holds in store because there’s still more trades and there’s still big names out there and these guys there’s no deadlines there’s no reason for them to oh I got to sign I got to sign by January 1st so that I get my what I don’t know nothing there’s there’s no reason to sign before January 1st if there was look again um you know going off to the left here I still think if the if Major League Baseball could have some kind of incentive not deadline incentive to sign by a certain point and maybe it is December 31st anybody signed by December 31st the the organization the team gets something we have so many uh penalties for going over a certain dollar amount or for uh signing a player with a qualifying offer attached and and all of that what if we gave an incentive for let’s call it the top 50 players top 50 players if you are designated a top 50 player you sign that player by December 31st you think Jon Dominguez has a good season by December 31st and you get some kind of maybe it’s International signing money uh maybe it is if you have signed a player every player you sign gives you some kind of something I I I don’t I don’t want to go crazy on draft picks cuz we’re already throwing draft picks around for all sorts of stuff uh but maybe it’s International pool money maybe it is I I don’t know I let’s find a way oh KMD there you are yeah hey maybe it’s International money let’s see guys Bill’s back and just in case anybody was curious stop what you’re doing listen listen this is going to be breaking news to everybody I was not aware of this but Bill thank God God has brought it to my attention Jazz Chism you ready hold on hold on Place Third Base I had no idea uh Mark it’s not lying if I didn’t know okay Mark do I think Jason has a has a good season hell yes I think Jason Dominguez explodes I think Dominguez has a monster year in 2025 a phenomenal year Max I know third what again I don’t want a deadline so Cal Brave I don’t want a deadline that’s not what I want I want an incentive so look if the player doesn’t sign player doesn’t sign but this could also help the players think about this if you are entrenched in a jack flarity negotiation and Jack just won’t sign because you’re or or the Dodgers you’re entrenched in a teoscar Hernandez deal Canada Israel I’m not from Canada I’m from close to Canada Watertown New York it’s about 20 minutes south of the Canadian border Kingston on the other side Kingston Ontario hopping on that VR rail Crossing heading on down anyway so you’ve got a what was I saying you’re entrenched in a teoscar Hernandez negotiation you can’t get him to sign you’re you’re you’re you’re you’re you’re this far apart but you know if you’re the Dodgers if we can get Chase fire GM is better chance flatty comes back like it’s like it’s like damn if we can get this deal with tasar before December 31st then we get this a kicker something we got to get this deal done it could help the players again no deadline an incentive uh let’s see Tera the J Terra what’s up happy to see you in here if the Jays fire the jam better chance vlat comes back that’s a problem right Mark’s contract runs the same amount of time that vlad’s contract runs so they don’t they don’t uh have an opportunity to you know make a decision on one of them if Mark could have been out now and get a new guy in to try to do something with vlat I don’t know I mean it was Mark and Ross that manipulated his service time so that he was a super two player so he’s a free agent next year and not this year look at his stuff he’s in arbitration for four guys should if if they didn’t Jack with his timing he would have been a free agent this year so hey Jim do you think b gets moved before spring training so I will just to finish up with teror super chat I will say that it’s probably too late I don’t think they’re going to fire him it already would have happened would it give him a better chance though to answer the question if there was a new a new sheriff in town I gotta think it would help do I think bash gets moved before training thanks Aras I would say well let’s think about the progression we’ve gone from not going to do it that was at the GM meetings that was Ross Atkins not happening to Fielding phone calls about a month and a half later maybe in another month we’ll actually be at a point where we’re getting somewhere because as you just dip your toe into the water you’re asking for way up here and in the bashet trade machine video which will be out tomorrow and if it’s not tomorrow it’ll be on Monday and the reason why it’ll be on Monday and not tomorrow is because there may be breaking news something urgent that happens that needs to take president but I have the bo bashet trade machine video done there is a way to help the club the asking price is high over Luke vo still down we are here now let’s go Ys I think it could come down the closer you get to opening day the closer you get to spring training not opening day I don’t think bashet is cooked Average Joe anybody trading for Bo bashet is trading for the guy the track record that he had built up prior to last year everybody has a down year and that’s what last year was and if you’re the Toronto Blue Jays you got to trade him between now and spring training because if you don’t and April happens and B sucks you’re not trading him for a damn thing thank you for the Super Chat uh let’s see saw with the sauce Rizzo over Luke Voit still haunts me but we are here now let’s go Yanks you got Goldie for one year and then you will be in the Vladimir Guerrero Jr sweep Stakes you can’t talk me out of it again the American League teams that’ll be in on vlat Yankees and Red Sox that’s why I think this bregman thing is not not not looking that good and so so when you think about bregman teams you think about Boston you think about the Mets you think about the Blue Jays um the Phillies might be a bregman team if bone was gone uh the the bad blood with the Yankees kind of hurts him there there could be a market for bregman but there are some factors that are really hurting his Market if you’re Boston why don’t you just wait for vlat if you’re the Mets why don’t you just wait for vlat why get into a Alex bregman contract that goes six or seven years I feel like Alex bregman is staring right in the face the Matt Chapman contract I SAR feels like knowledge Untamed I do think one of them has to move between Bo and vlat I think it is uh likely to be B vatti is if you’re choosing one look here’s the deal if you’re choosing one it’s the one you think you can extend and let’s say B sh to the Dodgers for Lux and gelin where does beet play does mooki move back to Second MH um I feel like just to finish up with uh knowledge Untamed comments if you actually think you can get the boat extension done which is I mean I don’t know how either of those two sides want to negotiate that right now but if if you feel like you made a mistake with vlat you didn’t want to do an extension was he when he was having down years now he has this bounceback year and you’re like oh crap Bo has a bad year maybe we we we just we we put that out of our mind and we get the extension done based on his track record prior this year if Bo’s the guy you think you can get the extension with you see where I’m going with this right you trade vlat and Bo gets the extension this team this blue jays team I’m is not about to blow it up there’s business reasons this team has operated like a business Jay’s fans know what I’m talking about we’re spending money but we’re not going that far we’re passing on deals that are bad business deals this team operates like a business they just sunk a ton of money into the Rogers Center they are not Rogers will not allow this team to turn into a piece of crap and all of a sudden no one’s coming out to the ballpark after they have all these new deals with all these uh restaurant owners and merchandise uh Distributors they’re not going to do it this team is going to do everything they can to remain relevant now again teams players have to want to come to to tono that’s where the trade market comes in let’s get to the Super Chat uh Brad if there is a lux gulin for Bo trade yes that’s exactly right mooki is your second baseman Bo is your short stop mun’s your third baseman Freddy is at first and in doing that mooki what did we hear we heard it all year long how how dedicated Muki was to playing shortstop how much time he was devoting to getting better at playing Short Stop cut that out he can he can play second base in his sleep let’s put him back to second base Bo can play short feels like that’s best for the team putting mooki in a spot where he doesn’t have to focus so much on perfecting the short stop position can he do it yeah but he puts a lot of time into it Bose it short mook’s the second again I don’t know if we’re going to go there but the values there Lux and gulin I gotta think Ross Atkins is taking that phone call let me check something anybody else got family in let’s see oh I got a text let’s see 30 minutes out got a late arrival tonight the big guy’s coming in my father is going to be coming in 12:30 late night driving uh derell they’re linking AR ronado to the Mets now I feel like there is so much misinformation about all of the Nolan AR ronado trade talk actually VJ no not Santa that’s in a couple of days uh it feels like there’s so much going out there that I don’t know what to believe I believe that there was an Astros trade on the table that arado killed I believe that he would play with gold Schmid again I believe the Dodgers are real out outside of that I also believe the Mets are used for leverage a lot you’ve got bregman Mets rumors arado Mets rumors mantis no problem dude yeah I’m I’m here because again I’m I got I got my dad driving in it’s another half hour out I figured hey I could sit around and watch a Christmas movie or I missed an opportunity to go live with the two deals earlier today or I guess the three Deals earlier today so let’s do it so here we are thank you guys for being here Lucas you think bregman should go to Boston I don’t doubt the fit I don’t doubt how good he could be in Fenway I just wonder if Boston wants to hold on to that money and make a run at Vladimir Guerrero Jr in 11 months 10 months that’s the only thing that might stop me from going all in on bregman to the Red Sox someone’s going to sign Alex bregman but the longer this goes the more likely think about Ella to the a the deal uh the the years on that deal could come down what do you think about orella to the a I love it I wanted the Yankees to go get Gio orella Jared Merry Christmas to you man I wanted the Yankees to get Ella even though Jazz Chisum plays Third Base Gio Ella plays a better third base could move jazz to Second where I believe Jazz would be better just thinking about making this team better defensively I think it’s great chilltown vlat or Tucker to the Dodgers preferably Tucker and I understand why I understand why you would you would lean Tucker there Tucker’s Market’s going to be interesting to see because he’s in the outfields Lefty bat he runs too Tucker’s Market’s going to be interesting so we identified what could be vat’s Market again and that was Boston with the Red Sox the Yankees the Braves the Cubs the Dodgers the Mets the Phillies and the Giants don’t think I forgot anybody that I’ve sort of pinpointed as the early Vladimir Guerrero Jr teams for next off season for Kyle uh for Kyle Tucker I I mean we could probably talk about all of those teams again let’s say coach Cody Bellinger has a monster year with the Yankees guess what he’s opting out which opens up a spot in that Outfield enter Kyle Tucker Kyle Tucker does not have the same bad blood that bregman does I’m not against all Astros ever putting on the Pinstripes it’s just guys like bregman Altuve Springer karea that’s not going to happen but Tucker is a different story so we could talk about Tucker to the Yankees so if we’re thinking about teams for Tucker Boston Yankees oh God a I could I could see the Angels trying cuz that rodon contracts there’s only be one more year left of that rhon contract I could see the Angels trying Seattle’s going to be in another funny money situation I think my blue jays will get pulled into that one damn it well no Mark will probably be gone and therefore so will Ross so who’s the new front office Duo that the Blue Jays bring in and do they think that they have a shot at the top prized piece or not again know your strengths and weaknesses damn it in life I say at the end of all the video if it’s High Let It Fly low let it go that is a baseball thing that’s also a life thing and that also ties into no your strengths and weaknesses life lessons here if you’re good at something go be really good at that if you’re not good at something understand that you’re not good at that thing and either try to get better at it or just chalk it up as you know what that’s not my thing but while you’re still bad at that thing don’t try to be out there as if you’re good at that thing which is how I look at the Blue Jay’s pursuit of Otani and stto a weakness that was ignored and therefore plowed on through which meant other opportunities were missed and here they are but I can see the Blue Jays getting lumped in with Kyle Tucker Atlanta could be there the Cubs could be there any of those vlat teams next year the sweep Stakes for vlat and Kyle Tucker will be amazing because it’ll it’ll pretty much be all the same teams maybe the Angels get involved actually I guess you could could you you could maybe make an argument that the Angels get involved in vlat too too uh Lucas definitely a vlat and Tucker combined a billion dollars I think so that that is a solid that that is that is booket Drew you like tasar in Cincinnati I do too actually jar I want trout to be a DH Let’s Do It Strike Blitz does vlat top 600 no I don’t think we get there it it kind of depends on what what gets out as the Blue Jay’s top offer we have heard from bayera and Mike Rodriguez and Hector Gomez that an offer was presented over $340 million so so let’s just go with 340 so 340 is the bar right off season it’s north of that but doe between now and whenever he hit free agency does it come to light that the Blue Jays offered $400 million 14 years $400 million that is then the bar and it will go higher than that in free agency so 600 I don’t see that but could we push five I mean he’s a first baseman but he’s young he’s much younger than Pete Alonzo so you cannot compare those two if he’s playing third base in 2025 for the Blue Jays which he said he’s open to it’s the position he came up in and they threw him out there a little bit last year if he starts logging regular third base time and he’s good at it that if he can play Third Base I think 500 million is a slam dunk if he can play Third Base if he is clearly only a first baseman then maybe 450 again it’s the Steve Cohen piece it is Yankees will be involved they signed gosm for one year that means they will be in on Vladimir Guerrero Jr next year I just I gave you eight teams that could be in on vlat you have eight teams you will that in half with the real deep swimmers all of a sudden we’re pushing five with the bidding war stto got to where he was because of the bidding war that ensued between the players at the table Yeah and right now the problem with Pete the problem with bregman is the players at the table are just not there we’re talking about the Detroit Tigers the Detroit Tigers are not a $250 million here you go kind of team that’s key and with vlat the key players will be there all of the ingredients are there for vat’s off season to take him to 500 I can’t see six but I can see it getting to five because of the ingredients all right especially if he’s playing Third Base especially if he’s Third Base book it because you’ll have the Dodgers involved if he’s playing Third Base because they will look at him as a third baseman M will be done vlat can be your third baseman that’s why again does the no lanar ronado thing here you go I don’t you know what this one’s this one’s more of a stretch because we don’t know if lat’s going to play Third but if you’re the Dodgers do you want to sign Vlad or do you want to trade for Nolan AR ronado when Maybe Vladimir Guerrero JR could be your third baseman next year because maybe vlat is playing third base for the Blue Jays and he’s really good at it why would I trade for Nolan aado right now I could trade for Nolan aado anytime uh Bradley thank you for the 12 months on the Platinum Club appreciate it man that’s Big Time stuff Bradley is hoping that Goldie bounces back love that dude yeah what’s not to love about him Jim there’s a rumor that the Cardinals have interest in Bobby Miller coming back for RN a any chance the Dodgers could get nude bar included coming back don’t love Edmund is the everyday CF Bradley thank you for the 12 months I appreciate it I salute you for that that’s a year on the Platinum Club that is a tremendous investment with the channel thank you getting microphones like this the shore microphone uh upgrades I’m surrounded by screens here um it’s because people like Bradley are members make donations so thank you for that um I hope Goldie bounces back too Hall of Famer baseball’s better when Gold’s awesome uh Brad thank you for the donation I will say Edmund’s great you may not love him but I think Edmond is great and can probably handle it if he can’t how we feeling about PES I think there’s options Miller Miller’s value feels like it’s too low right now I would hold on to Bobby Miller figure it out down in the minor leagues I wouldn’t do that because if you end up trading Bobby Miller one day because of all the years of control you could get something a hell of a lot better than Nolan AR ronado like seriously you could you could get a king’s ransom for Bobby Miller if he becomes Expendable for some reason and you need pieces he could be great I think there is so so the Cardinals probably do have interest in pitching like Bobby Miller I wouldn’t do that for Nolan ronado maybe if the Cardinals eat every damn dollar that is owed to Nolan ronado would I entertain that I don’t think n bar is coming back though Cardinals want him need him why did the Dodgers see seya as a replacement in didn’t the Cubs said they wanted to keep him and Lis Roberts on the Dodgers W of 40 bombs Professor yoshima thank you 13 months on the gold membership on the Gold Club yes every if you are a gold member or a platinum member you have a Redemption that you can use every month for some reason uh title info I’m gonna get to you in one second for some reason though the text to talk doesn’t work with those redemptions and I don’t understand I don’t know why I wish it did because those are so important 13 months Professor Yosh thank you for that 13 months on the gold membership I appreciate that and again I don’t know why they they don’t play so I have to keep my eye out for those because those are the redemptions that you get as a perk for having that membership it’s a free Super Chat for some reason it doesn’t play I don’t know why let’s see here Jason thank you man I appreciate it appreciate the kind words uh title info why do the Dodgers see seya as a replacement didn’t the Cubs I say they wanted to keep him and Robert on the Dodgers would have 40 bombs I’d love Luis Robert on the Dodgers that’s another reason why the Dodgers can look at this whole tasar Hernandez negoti and say hey look um if we don’t work this out with you we can call up Chris gets and probably work out a deal for Luis Robert that’s that would be I think L again you get Luis Robert on a better team in a better situation with good leadership you put Luis Robert around mooki and Freddy and Otani and you have Dave Roberts running the show I think Luis Roberts has a career year with that team just in the lineup but also from a head space let’s go I love how the clubhouse could be a positive influence on Luis Robert would probably unlock a level that we haven’t seen from Luis Robert definitely um SE Suzuki I don’t think SE Suzuki is going anywhere especially after the Bellinger trade any rumors be damned I don’t I don’t think he’s going to go anywhere all right let’s see what do we got here What’s the timing on 30 minutes out I’m going to give him the thumbs up but I’m going to check where he is because he might be getting close and I got to make sure he doesn’t ring any doorbells there he is 695 cruising around Baltimore the Robert injury definitely chill toown is something to be concerned about but that is where and this is great about Luis Robert you if he gets hurt it’s one and done those options don’t have to be picked up if Luis Robert proves that he truly is injury prone see you one year to see if he’s got it 15 million bucks and if he’s got it you got some options to keep him for 20 million bucks for the Dodgers feels like a worthwhile gamble for for other teams that are maybe in different Financial uh Straits not so much for the Dodgers they could afford to do it definitely could knowledge Untamed you think bashet is a future Yankee ah that was vulpi there he moved to Bo to second but look Bo is going to do everything he can to stay shortstop and when Bo reaches free agency because he’s sort of almost the Forgotten man when it comes to like free agency top of the market we’re thinking about Tucker we’re thinking about vlat teams that could use a short stop this year was kind of interesting there were the the desire the need for Short Stops I had Milwaukee cuz uh Adamas was leaving I had Pittsburgh that moved O’Neal Cruz to center field I have Atlanta you could certainly upgrade Aria I have the Dodgers you could uh upgrade there Betts could play second Lux could be traded those are four teams that really stood out to me I’m sure there’s another one that I’m forgetting at the moment but it wasn’t like there’s six or seven or eight teams that absolutely need a short stop and Milwaukee’s not going toay pay for bow the Dodgers this is the this is the other thing this is the um this was the sto argument last year for the Mets to not trade for him this is the Mets argument this year to not trade for Vladimir Guerrero Jr why trade for something you can just go sign in free agency next year and whether you have him on your team this year or not doesn’t change if you are are a World Series caliber team the Dodgers don’t have to trade for Bo bashet that’s the thing that’s the rub the Mets don’t have to trade for Vladimir Guerrero Jr they could just go sign them next year Bo could sign with the Dodgers next year and they could keep any prospects they could keep Lux they could keep gonsolin those that are wondering what I’m talking about that was uh in my video tomorrow that is going to be a proposed trade I have six Bob bashet trades and that is one of them uh in my in my bashet trade machine video that’ll be out tomorrow you got a A Dodgers team that could just say you know what nah that’s too much you keep them have fun with them uh trade them to whoever else you want we’ll just sign him in the offseason and you hang up the phone that’s what I would do if I was a GM if the Blue Jays were trying to ask for a high price Blue Jays can’t really ask for an overpay uh if you’re Atlanta don’t give up a prospect now sign him in the offseason you can get by with Aria for one year I though I do think Atlanta may be motivated a little bit more it’s again if the price is right because Atlanta went through some hardships this past year and it feels like it needs to be it it really needs to be better next year and if you can get both for the right price that adds to the deck and and you’re trying to stack the deck Brewers can’t pay pay for him Pittsburgh can’t pay for him so you really kind of get to the teams that are like Hey we’re probably going to be on the outside looking in when it comes to any sort of sweep Stakes sweep Stakes SO trading for him is our best chance that’s where Milwaukee could come in Pittsburgh dude there there’s the trade Seattle Seattle is probably going to be in a bad spot Crawford could move to Second Bo could move to Second for one year teams that have a or or or might view themselves as long shots to win out in a free agent negotiation period are the teams that you would need to watch out for in the trade market all right um he’s get getting close I got to do a couple things before he gets here um but I am going to have to uh end this one here hop out of here we’ve been going for two and a half hours it feels like it’s been 20 minutes not going to lie but this was fun uh I hope you enjoyed your Saturday night tomorrow again keep an eye out for the B bashet
