[Music] what’s going on Alabama fans we’re trying to beat our subscriber number from last December 2023 obviously we’re trying to get to that thousand number every single month here we’re just over going to continue to talk about the transfer portal here for uh you know the next couple weeks anyways as long as things are going hot we are going to talk about the transfer portal here for the Crimson Tide so do not miss out make sure you guys hit that sub button for me right now all right let’s go ahead and get into some transer portter targets for the Crimson Tide here we’ll start off with Zachariah Branch as of right now not officially a Target but a big time name that I thought we needed to talk about on the front half of today’s show he Ed the train portal yesterday along with his brother Zion branch of course Zachariah Branch one of the best wide receivers in the country um out of USC his brother also at USC now what is notable is that Zachariah Branch entered the uh transfer portal with a no contact tag and that usually means that um he’s got a couple schools in mind at the top of his list that he’s saying hey I don’t want any teams to contact me I’ll contact you if I want to join your team um but what’s interesting is his brother uh does not have a no contact tag and they’re supposed to be going as a package deal so I would assume um you know because Zachariah branch has a no contact tag it pretty much means the same thing for both of them and they are expected to get a pretty pretty hefty nil package as well which unfortunately kind of puts Alabama out of the running um you know for both of them because they’re not going to go out and drop a bag on transfer guys that’s just not really how they roll but Zachariah Branch man if they could get him in this wide receiver room for next year um he would be a top two wide receiver I think for you you got Ryan Williams if you add Zachariah branch in there I think he’s probably number two maybe Jeremy Bernard is right there at number three but um um you know we would have to see that it’s obviously all hypothetical at this point but look first two seasons were pretty good for him I think a lot of people expected him to take another jump up this season and he did to an extent but uh you know the explosiveness for him just wasn’t really there and especially in the kick return game as well I think a lot of people expected him to you know really excel in the kick return game as well and just wasn’t able to do that for USC this year obviously USC was not very good though so um whether or not you want to blame that on him though that’s kind of up to you his brother though as well Zion Branch pretty solid safety um Alabama definitely is looking for um some defensive back help whether that’s safety or quarterback we’re just going to have to see they’ve really been looking at a lot of Corners here in the transfer portal and another one that we’ll talk about here in just a little bit but um look they’re going to be a package deal together like I said so if you’re not going to go after Zachariah Branch probably not going to go or get Zion Branch but what is really interesting is that when they when the news broke on on three that they were going to be hitting the transfer portal together um Alabama was one of those top four teams in the running but as this morning the teams have changed now it’s Miami Michigan Georgia Oklahoma Florida and Louisville so um you know it doesn’t seem like Alabama’s really going to be making a run at these guys I think a lot of it has to do with the you know the amount of nil dollars that they’re expecting to get from their future team this is what Tim watsab online said about Alabama’s involvement in going after the branch Brothers he said we are told that it is unlikely that Alabama will be involved they are a pack deal in the nil is expected to be Hefty I think the number that I saw thrown out there was around $4 million this is just early feedback could always change but right now I think the Bama staff is sticking to the current plan that they have laid out um so there are still more in play that have not been decided on yet so I mean look if uh bo is saying that Alabama’s not really going to be going after the branch Brothers I would assume that that is not going to be the case but what do you guys think let me know in the comments section should Alabama pursue both Zachariah branch and Zion Branch out of the transfer portal type why for yes or in for no at the pin comment of today’s video now last night Alabama did get some positive transfer portal news here Kelby Collins ended up committing to the Crimson Tide I was out Christmas shopping last night when it happened and uh wasn’t able to get a short out for you guys or anything but was able to put a little note up on the Community page for you guys is a big pickup for Alabama 2023 he was on that freshman all SEC team um and then you know kind of had a little bit of a position change in his second season and just wasn’t able to get on the field as much as he would like to but man this is a really big get for a defensive line room that is kind of in shambles after the transfer portal and um you know guys possibly going off to the NFL you could even lose more guys um off of this TR or off of this depth chart right here um Tim Keenan he’s out of Eligibility he’s going to be leaving or excuse me Tim Smith Tim Keenan we’ll see what happens with him I think there’s a chance he goes to the off to the NFL draft but I would love to see him stick around for another year with the Crimson Tide I think jaryan leam still has one more season of Eligibility left because of that weird covid year A couple of years ago um but he has already been in the program 5 years so if if he does have an extra year it’s only going to be one we’ll see what what happens with LT Overton as well when it comes to the NFL draft there’s a chance he could um declare after the bowl game as well still have Keon Keeley as well you got Kelby Collins there but he’s going to be probably mostly excuse me mostly playing that Bandit position so um you know at the very worst you’re going to have Jordan Renard uh Jordan Renard Keon Keeley and Kelby Collins there at that Bandit position but man sitting there in the middle of that defensive line it is really the the depth is not looking very good there for Alabama so I would love to see them go out um you know into the transfer portal and get somebody that can play the middle of the defensive line because kavante Henry is either going to be a bandit or a wolf I think St mamua kind of Trends more towards that Bandit spot as well London Simmons he’s going to be a freshman coming in so wouldn’t really expect him to play in the middle of the defensive line as well so uh maybe Jeremiah Beaman is a guy that steps up don’t really haven’t seen a lot from Isaiah fagar or edri kill as well so see what happens but I know a lot of people right now are worried about Alabama’s defensive line depth we’ll continue with some more targets here in just a moment but Today’s Show is presented by prize nikai Hill green out of Colorado at that linebacker spot he is working right now to set up a visit with the Crimson Tide and I do think this kind of makes a little bit of sense you know you’re losing a couple guys at that middle linebacker spot and this is guy that um you know sure he’s played for a couple of teams throughout his college career but he’s put up pretty decent numbers of course he was at Michigan in 2021 helped them get to the college football playoffs had a uh undisclosed injury in 2022 not exactly sure could not find anything stating exactly what that injury was but he missed all of 22 in 2023 he went to Charlotte put up some pretty decent numbers there and ended up going to Colorado this year as well put up some pretty decent numbers at Colorado as well and I think uh with your depth at defensive or at that linebacker spot right now you’re going to be losing Justin Jefferson you’re probably going to be losing Jihad Campbell I I’ve seen him in plenty of first round mock drafts I think he’s going to go off to the NFL draft as well we’ll see what happens with Deontay Lawson don’t quite know what that injury is exactly I think if it’s going to be a longer type of rehab for him I think there is a chance maybe that he comes back for another season with Alabama out assume if it’s an injury that you know drops him down to the fourth through seventh round I think he comes back for another season but we’re just going to have to wait and uh you know see on Deontay Lawson there and then after that I mean you got Jeremiah Alexander and then a lot of young guys and even Jeremiah Alexander doesn’t have really a lot of playing experience and at the beginning of this year he was banged up a lot so uh you know there’s some injury worries there for jeremi Alexander as well I think Justin Oak Rona has a really high ceiling as well as uh Kaden Jones as well haven’t really seen a ton of QB Reese at all Sterling Dixon um but I I do think if Alabama can get another linebacker out of the transfer portal that would help a lot whether that’s a starter or just a depth piece I think um if you get a guy like green as well out of the transfer portal there’s a good chance he could be a starter for you next season so let me know here in the comments section one more time guys does Alabama need linebacker help out of the transport portal type one for yes or zero Crimson Tide talked about cam duberry yesterday offensive lineman out of Texas A&M um he visited on Tuesday he’s got one more year of Eligibility left as well so could be a guide to replace Tyler Booker there at that guard position or could just be another depth piece for you um Cameron Calhoun cornerback out of Utah he also visited on Tuesday he has three more years of Eligibility left I do think he’s a guy that uh could be a very good addition for Alabama’s defensive backfield and then you also have um k tafa um offensive guard out of Washington now I think he played tackle at Washington but Alabama’s looking for interior help right now so um he’s a guy that they would most likely put over to that offensive guard spot he also visited or he’s going to be visiting on Wednesday here today for the Crimson Tide you also have two other guys that we’ve talked about in the past uh Mario Craver wide receiver he ended up committing to Texas A&M so he’s out of the picture here and you also have Isaiah Horton wide receiver out of Miami he’s been predicted to Alabama for the past couple of days by uh Andrew bone of on three B online there so um we’ll see what happens I think all these guys would be very very good additions whether that’s starter pieces or um or depth pieces for you I think they could help a lot for the Crimson Tide here let’s go ahead and talk about as well some of the guys who have entered the transfer portal for Alabama these are the guys who have found new homes already Jim Otis is going off to Colorado Keo coat is going to Vanderbilt J Hurley committed to Kansas Dylan Lan is going to be joining back up with Bill O’Brien they’re at Boston College Devonte Smith one of the ones that just hit me right in the heart there he’s committed to Notre Dame which if you want a Surefire spot to go to the playoffs every single year it’s going to be at Notre Dame because they’re not part of the con part of of any conference and they play a week ass schedule so every single year I would assume Notre Dame is going to be in the playoffs so if that’s uh you know what you really want there it’s not that you know dumb of a move at the end of the day nille betran offensive tackle he committed to Syracuse and then Kobe Prince is kind of a weird left field one he ended up committing to Baylor um just the other day as well and then a couple of guys who have not found new homes yet uh Caleb odm miles McVey Kendrick law Hunter osbor Justice h and Emanuel Henderson most of these guys have been taking visits now Damon Payne Jr very interesting this morning he actually committed to Michigan but then a couple of hours later just about an hour ago in terms of filming this video right now um those those papers were waved so I would assume he’s not going to be at Michigan anymore so um as of right now Damon Payne Jr as well is not committed anywhere but um seems like he is still not going to be coming back to Alabama next season some more transfer portal targets as well talked about a couple of these guys just a second ago but kind of wanted to round it out and just kind of uh uh you know show everybody here that Alabama is still going after Kevin conceps ywn wide receiver out of NC State um we’ll see what happens there the you know the chatter around him hasn’t really picked up any so um we’ll see what happens there like I said Isaiah Horton out of Miami is right now predicted to Alabama uh khed tafa offensive lineman out of Washington cam duberry out of Texas A&M um um nikai Hill green linebacker out of Colorado and then cam Calhoun cornerback out of Utah those guys um most of them have already taken visits to Alabama or they’re expected to at least try to get a visit set up so those are definitely some names that we
