something that you can’t really describe I’ve been in a situation with City where we ain’t doing really well and Derby comes up and you’re a completely different team and I think man united will be the exact same as that and so will city under weekend it’s an iconic game you know the stadiums aren’t far from each other the city is definitely divided often you’re friends with people from both sides there’s always arguments over the dinner table about who’s going to win on the weekend City United I’ve got a lot of mes or blues and stuff like that so it’s always personal when we when we play against them the 4-1 win that was another Milestone of an achievement with the players that they had then some reason the ball wouldn’t roll off the pitch so I got to the ball just carried on running it felt like the further I went nobody was getting there and managed to get that half a yard and just tried to hit it as cleanly as possible and it just flew in off the bar everybody knows what happens then the robot came out oh in this goal where I’m trying to get back the last minute and of course Wayne Rooney’s won the goal Rooney oh wonderful what a goal at what a time in what a play ni nobody likes losing but if you lose to a goal like that you kind of just have to say okay fair [Music] enough with the players that City have there now they’ve all been there long enough to understand what this game means to not only the fans but themselves as well if they win it because at the minute they’re both going through stages where they’re there seems to be a lot of sloppy giveaways which opens both teams up to counterattacks I think it will come back to normal they know themselves they can be better and they will correct it it’s not enough I know that the players are not stupid they know it they they they taste the highest level in in consistency and what it doesn’t matter Howen always we found the way to win the games now we don’t have the way to win the games even playing good moments or bad moments we don’t have it the players knows it of course you have to improve for me I would never say you’re out of the title race not in this Premier League I think right now for them the focus will be getting everybody back fit and getting the team back playing the way everybody knows they they can play and then see where they are at the end of the season the one thing I do know is they they won’t give up on anything until that last kick of the ball come the last day of the Season R Fernando pass was careless behind yoro to theoy to Gibs White oh it just went straight through take time and if they get that part right that will take a little bit of pressure off everything else but you need then you need to start winning and that is what man united is you remember the the kick from Rooney um some big results even in Old traford that we had in the time of s Alex and big big results um so it’s I I think it’s a different time and this hard for the Manchester United fans to cope with that uh but we we want to win and that’s all I think man united have some fantastic individual players Ahad this Wing back Ro seems to really be suiting him being able to run with the ball from deep in many ways seeing a bigger pitch sometimes when you’re a Winger you got your back to the play or your back to the line whereas now he can go either way and he can see where the space is without everything necessarily being off Instinct so for me I think he he’s doing brilliantly I think for me I think it’ll be an exciting game I think it would be more open than people think I think for city they’re going to approach it the way they always approach every game good possession of the ball at large stages of the game and create as many chances as possible from seeing Man United against Arsenal I can imagine they would try and do the same thing in terms of keep that Midfield area crowded so you can’t really pass in between the lines I think it’ll be a 2-1 C I think there’ll be chances both ends and it’s just which team takes where I think at the minute see slightly better when it comes to doing that Liverpool’s short trip across town to goodison park for the what the consensus are saying and it’s another London Derby this weekend The Best of the West to be precise as brenford head for the bridge they are a very good team they know each other from many play for a lot of things are going to have to go through a lot of again unexpected things and losing a game in this league is very easy and losing the next one very easy and you can throw the next one and in three weeks you are in a very different position we’ been very close twice and uh and we’re not going to stop till till we get it done storm Dara delayed the merys side Derby goodison will have stay in the Premier League Mata thank you for talking to us I I understand that it’s not the best moment for wolves right now what’s the mood like amongst the players it’s a pleasure uh so I feel like of course the moment is not the moment any you want to be uh we want to play and then we have a lot of dreams to to arrive at some great things but yeah of course the football is like this and then we need like to to continue build something good and then of course we change the situation the manager seems to be under some pressure at the moment as well what’s been his message to you as players to try and turn things around I think him’s very positive person you know like always like uh um keep believe and then you know like uh uh give us some uh energy to continue fight because this is even is like hard situation but it’s still like the beginning you know have a lot of uh of games but of course the football is the results and then football is is hard like the life is hard and then we need to keep we need to keep going of course and then the things then I feel to him is only only good things and I hope we can change the situation and still together my faith and my belief in the actual group that I’m working with is yeah will will always be 100% And um they know that and they know that they need to push to do more I know that I need to push to do more um but this group is going to find a way to to turn things [Music] around November was a brilliant month for you for for the club as well to be fair how do you get back to the levels that that you all showed in November it’s hard to say because we don’t have like the the honest like the the correct thing to say because if if it’s easy like this yes you just do it of course I hope Saturday we show again everyone like we have like uh big Faith to to change everything like go to the pach and then show everyone like we are happy and then do the best thing in the world is to play football in fairness November it was like that yeah you had a huge smile on your face you earned a nomination for player of the month and you had an unprecedented three nominations for goal of the month in November as well that must have been a special moment for you I hope December is on the beginning I can do the same December also yeah but kind of things and you feel feel confident feel happy to show everyone your potential and then yeah this is I hope like I say I hope the other months will come in and then I can show everyone and then I can show myself how big and and how can I help my teammates to to impact the games did you have a favorite goal from the three yes of course I have my first one against Fulham that’s a beautiful ball to find Kaa matus K once again it’s my favorite because like how hard it is you know like to control the ball and then ship the ball this is kind of things then you know like we need to to have like Good Feeling to do and then feel confident of course huge game this weekend against Z switch there’s no other way to build up to it really how important is it as players you give your absolute everything to win this game every single game is like this one you know we need we need to fight and then we need to show everyone like we can we have potential to change the situation capacity to change the situation and then this one will not change it will be not different of course they have like same points than us also hard situation for them it’s another big game for us it’s one that we’ we’ love to get a positive result in um best way to do that is going and deliver a good performance and and everything that’s going to entail in a game like this and uh give ourselves the best chance to to go and try and win it so that’s what we’ll try and do there’s a long way to go still in this season we’ve talked about how how it’s difficult at the moment but what do you think as a club and as a player you can still achieve this year hard to say something right now huh in beginning of the Season my dream is completely different uh maybe to put the club in the the EUR again when I come in I always heard about uh when they play in Europa League and it was something like huge for the club the fans feel like so grateful and then of course I want to give back all the love and they feel difficult moments coming but it’ll never stop the fight we still going there and then I hope like we have a lot of time already to fix the things wrong and then go again inconsistency is rif at Newcastle United the positive ity that came from collecting a point off the leaders Liverpool was wiped out that’s what the club needs now and that’s what we’re pushing to us motivation isn’t lacking for either Saints or Spurs but both need something to change on the pitch if they’re to achieve their riled by Derby rivalry there’s little to separate them though once they get on the pitch prior to 2012 both teams yo-yoed between the divisions with Brighton competing as low as the fourth as recently as 2001 Financial difficulties have made life challenging for both clubs at certain points but times and fortunes have changed considerably the seagulls and the Eagles are now established Premier League sides they’ve faced each other 14 times in this competition the past four seasons have seen a variety of managers go head-to-head in this fixture this weekend it’s a derby debut for both bosses Fabian herzler and Oliver glasner I visited I think last season the game between Crystal Palace and Brighton I know what it means for the fans I know what it means for the club that’s why we need to to give everything on the pitch to to win this Derby they good team can’t take that away from Brighton you know their their style of play is is hard to play against and uh the quality from from top to bottom so a rivalry is always uh necessary and I think uh they’re our biggest one so we definitely don’t like each other um and I think it’s definitely something that you see when we play these games their Premier League encounters have been tricky to predict hard fought and usually close contests there’ve been seven draws and on only two occasions has more than a single goal separated the sides so Brighton’s 4–1 Victory last term was a notable result Jau that’s one way to guarantee a memorable victory over your biggest Rivals of course a different manager is at the helm but seagull’s supporters have caused to feel hopeful of humbling their visitors again they’re up in seventh place having secured some eye-catching victories beating Manchester United Spurs Newcastle and Manchester City that’s the good news the bad news is they’re winless in their last three conceding two late goals away to Leicester last week a real missed opportunity with a victory they’d have been within a point of fourth place we have a lot of experienced players in the squad they know how important this game is for the club how important this is for the for the fans and um that’s the main thing we have to to give back the fans uh the fre points we we might waste in the last games and I think that’s the that’s the most important H it’s what a time to get his first Crystal Palace goal Maxon laqua are helping Palace draw with Manchester City but they’ve only won twice this turn the team that ended last season with a bang have sha only in rare fits and starts maybe glasner is getting them back on track though they’ve only lost once in their last seven outings I think uh you know we had a rough start to the season um so again I think we’re we’re on our way to getting to where we want to be but uh we understand that um if we do want to go higher up in the table that we have to come away from games like City with three points with the seagulls seeking to recover their form and the Eagles trying to take flight this meeting could match the drama offered by this unusual Derby in previous years Liverpool could further stretch their lead at the top with a win over Fulham that’s one of five games on Saturday Chelsea are the closest to them right now but they don’t play until Sunday against West London Neighbors brenford and it’s Derby Day two in Manchester two superpowers of the English game always divided amongst the very hard lines of red and blue what about that fabulous ball not to be denied whatever it took this could be a dby day for the agent we’ve got a fresh pair of eyes
