welcome back to another video on the channnel today today we’re back talking about the pride of North Wales as we do on every single video Rex and football club today it’s a bit of an unexpected video wasn’t in my schedule for the December uploads but we’re going to be bringing you some breaking Rex AFC Chan news this will be a video dedicated to all the transfer news and rumors regarding rexon get talking about CH news so starting off with the confirmed signing of goalkeeper Brad Foster not Ben Foster Brad Foster now before kickoff on Saturday against Burton Alia we announced the signing of young goalkeeper Brad Foster on a short-term contract with him coming into our depth into the goalkeeper Department due to obviously the long-term injury sustained by Callum Burton who is out for the whole season now after a thigh injury and Arthur Cono who yeah it’s a bit hit and miss where they’ll be back before the end of the year so Brad Foster has come in of course we only had two goalkeepers left Mark Howard and Liam Hall so guessing that third in in Brad that I think was definitely needed we saw him play last night in The Virtue trophy against K Alexander way did keep a clean sheet and got man of the match so we saw some proms in signs he made a couple of good saves and I think you know he’s good cover to have in the meantime of course we’re going to be talking about another goalkeeper that has actually been spotted at the race ground further on so it’s still a question as to whether Brad Foster has come in obviously to be that backup goalkeeper in the meantime where we possibly do get one in in the January chancell window we really don’t know we can sort of get that indication by the fact he’s on a short-term contract it’s something you know that he’s looking for a temporary goalkeeper to fill in the void of you know Callum Burton who was the backup and then obviously went to that first team spot and having two goalkeepers at this stage in the season and you know one of them being a youth goalkeeper and one of them being you know a veteran goalkeeper it’s not ideal at all so bringing Foster in was a much needed bit of Business by Parky and I’ve got in my notes here there’s a big chance he could feature against KW Alexander in the efl trophy we obviously saw that he did starting goal he made a couple of good saves as I’ve previously said man of the match all that good stuff so yeah it’s it’s a good signing he’s made a good first impression in the efl trophy and you know will he stay on after his short-term contract expires will he be seen as an option for the rest of the season that’s down to Parky in his team but at the early stages he’s got man of the match he’s got a good game under his belt against a good opposition so yeah I think we can give a warm welcome to Brad Foster if you want a backstory of Foster’s career of course as we know he’s still relatively young he’s played for Derby Stoke City and West Brom at Youth Level whilst also making four senior appearances in the National League North for rushall Olympics so you know he’s had that youth experience at a lot of different clubs and finally he’s gained that needed experience at the men’s level of Russell Olympic and of course playing yesterday against cre Alexander on his debut for rexon so moving on to the next player linked rexim are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Manchester United youth star Ethan Wheatley on loan until the end of the season with Stockport County and a host of other Championship clubs interested in securing his Services now with wheatle of course being really highly regarded by former Manchester United managers Eric tenar and rud van nissy the future does look bright for Wheatley and you know he was obviously seen as a player that could possibly break into that first team sort of you know go down the path Marcus rashford and Jesse lingard did at Manchester United weatley of course was a heavy favorite in the match day Squad under 10 ha and rude Vanessa Roy really gave him a chance in his short stint at the club so you know like I said he featured heavily under those two and since the new manager Ruben amarine has come in from Sport and Lisbon weekly you know was training in the first team him and I think it was Harry am have been demoted to the under 21 so the future doesn’t look too great for wheatle under Ruben amarind and I think you know Manchester United fans know that he’s got a bright feature ahead of him he was given that chance I think he made a couple of first team appearances here and there and of course gaining the valuable experience featuring in the match day squad for Manchester United in the Premier League and in European competitions as things stand the new manager has come in he’s been demoted the end of the 21s and I think there’s only one thing that Ethan weatley needs now in his career and that is that lone move to play consistent professional football in the men’s game and like I’ve got my notes down here Manchester United fans have said you know he’s got a bright future and you know it’s a big move whatever route he does take in January because I don’t think they’d like to see him sitting in the under 21s for the rest of the season you know I’m sure Ethan weatley won’t do as well because you know he must have thought oh he’s got that spark you know he’s got that real good chance under Eric tenh har who really favored him a lot and you know thought very highly of him and Ruth Van Nest Roy continued to give him his chance when 10h left so he must have been thinking that consistent feature in the match day Squad and hopefully will lead to that consistent run of games in the Manchester United 11 probably not starting but featuring and then all of a sudden the new manager come in and you know he’s just completely been forgotten about so I think he does need that consistent running games for a team and you know Rex interested Championship clubs interested stock bort County so you know there are a lot of clubs interested in weekly and you know it’s a big question as to whether which team he does join and you know it is a big step for him like I said being just 18 years old the striker of course he’ll have his agent around him the advisers at Manchester United to make that correct decision as to where he wants to go because he’s very very young and you know it’s a question is he ready for you know that consistent run of games because the Premier League is completely different to League one it is going to be a physical battle for weekly whether he thinks he possibly needs that run of games for the under 21s until the end of the season and assess his future then it’s another question I think he will be thinking and I think the manager will be thinking you know this is his time to go and Excel at a professional Club you know he’s Sha the youth setup at Manchester United six goals in 12 games whil it’s also featuring for United in the National League Cup away at Rochdale so of course he hasn’t had that consistent run of games in the Manchester United Team yet but last season he also massively impressed in the youth setup at United recording 18 goals and assists in 30 games and he also gained valuable minutes in the Premier League against Giants Arsenal Crystal Palace and Sheffield United so you know he’s got that taste of football at the theater of Dreams Old Trafford and against some rough opposition in Crystal Palace and Sheffield United when it comes to youth plays and big clubs like Manchester United there’ll be plenty of goal compilations and compilations of these plays and I was really watching you know a fair few of them of Ethan weatley and he seems to have a really good eye for goal a really good finisher and he’s also got a very good touch on him as well in 18 I can imagine he’ll offer a lot of pressing up front he’ll be full of running he’ll have a good tank and will just be a constant Runner une easing the defense and like I said if you do just type in Ethan weatley compilation on YouTube You’ll see you know his games and goals and involved M Ms in the Manchester United setup you know he’s touched to bring it down and his just awareness as a young player I think is really really good and I think he would be an interesting addition to this rexam squad of course 18 years old he’s a lot younger than any Strikers we currently do have in the setup but I think he could learn a lot off the likes of Fletcher Mullen Palmer and I think as well as rexon fans and Ethan Wheatley I think Manchester United fans as well want to see what he is all about because they’ve seen glimpses of him for 5 10 minutes in games but I think they’ll want see him consistently in a team you know for a good long spell so we’re going to move back about talking to goalkeepers now whole City goalkeeper Timothy low to tler was actually spotted at the race course ground last night ahead of our fixture in the efl trophy against crew ahead of a possible move to rexon football club this might be a name you might remember and I’ll get talking about why you might remember the name now he’s a young 21y old goalkeeper currently contracted at Championship side H city until 2028 I do believe he’s fourth or fifth choice at so that’s another reason why this signing could make sense he got a moved to donc cter Rover on deadline date in February last year where he spent the remainder of the Season at donc cter playing 20 games keeping eight clean sheets and proving to be an integral part of donc cter Rover’s second half success of the season of course you remember that season donc cter they started really poor and they just picked up some really good form second half of the season and lot to tala played a massive part in that eight clean sheets and they were moments away from qualifying from the player final I think crew did knock them out in the playoff semi-final but low to Tyler that second half of the Season at Doncaster you know even as neutral fans we heard all about him and you know he had a really good end to the season and if we are looking at his stats now from the 2324 season a save percentage of 74.1% 14 goals conceded in his 20 games eight clean sheets and an average rating of 7.03 one of the best upand cominging goalkeepers that season in League 2 very highly regarded very well spoken of and you know he’s gone back to whole city and has not had a Sniff and it looks as if he could be joining rexon on a season long loan so you might be thinking where do I remember this name now rexon fans who did travel to donc cter RS at the end of last season you might remember his ridiculous last minute save from Steven Fletcher’s header I think that’s one of the best saves I’ve seen live it gives me shades of goldon banks his save obviously not as good but just such a strong hand to claw it back out and of course he showed his appreciation to the traveling rexon fans at the end of the game I remember him being good with his feet as well they really enjoyed giving him the ball he was good with his feet a lot of passing so could that be the style that Phil Parkinson wants to implement in you know this reom setup and could he view low to Tyler as possibly you know bringing that attribute into the backline now I bet you’re thinking why are we signing low to Tor we’ve just signed Brad Foster a goalkeeper why are we after another now you might have seen the article a couple of days ago despite the signing of Brad Foster Parky did actually say wants to bring in another goalkeeper on loan and it seems low to tler could be the one he’s after Hall City obviously view loow to tler as a future first team in their team because you know he’s penned a new long-term contract in the summer until 2028 so you know I don’t think there’s any chance of us going in for Loy Tyler on a permanent deal I think it would be quite silly if we went in for him on a permanent obviously I wouldn’t say no to it but you know we’ve just tied down Callum Burton on I think a two threeyear contract we’ve got Arthur conro longterm ly Tyler wants first team football and you know I don’t think he does get in ahead of Arthur Cono when a cono does get back and this makes me question you know this signing is low toala going to be coming into you know increase that competition for Arthur conro spot and increase that competition for the number one spot or could we get him in some sort of loan and then play him up until Arthur’s back I’m not really too sure what the situation will be when Arthur does recover from his injury but don’t get me wrong this would be a really good Sig and he’d be one of the better backups in League one obviously he’d had good competition we know he’s good with his feet he’s an incredible shot stopper he’s still very young but he’s shown some really promising signs at such a young age and I think as well it really does help that we’ve watched the full 90 minutes of him recently in April away at donc cter Rover so we know the type of goalkeeper he is we know that he is a big game player of course he had a really good game in that game against us and I think this would be a stellar bit of business from Barky just want to end this video off talking about one man currently up in Scotland who is absolutely tearing it up Super Sam Dolby this isn’t transfer news but I just would like to ask the question about Sam dolby’s future in a rexam shirt does he have a future at rexon Football Club come the end of the season when his contract does expire and when it’s set to expire now Dolby of course has recorded six goals in 12 games for dundy United getting his sixth of the season on the weekend against Kil manik the question has been raised a lot on social media does Dolby still have a future with this now I think it’s important to note as well and one of the main reasons why I have brought this topic up is because he can actually sign a pre-contract at a club on the 1st of January if rexon don’t offer him fresh terms to sign a new contract as we’ve seen the dundy United manager said they want to be at the table when it comes to discussing Sam Doby’s future and his contract situation at rexon so they are very keen on getting him on a permanent basis will rexen make that risk and letting Dolby Go for free and you know lose him on a free or will rexon possibly want to cash in in the January chancer window and put him up for sale and you know I don’t think it will happen but could they possibly do a really sneaky move and recall him and then put him up for sale you know we don’t really need the money but extra cash is extra cash at the end of the day I think a lot of people on this topic will say no they won’t have Sam Dolby back at the club but I just want to make a counter argument on that of course I’m not saying he should come back I’m not saying we should give him a new contract I’m completely on the fence I haven’t really made a decision yet but if I’m doing a counter argument on people saying no you’ve got to remember as well you know so many good players out there have peaked at completely different times of their career some people Peak I think a prime example Li your Mal you know he’s coming to the game and you know he’s immediately recording goals and assists winning trophies here and in there but you see some big players they Peak you know quite later on in their career and I’m not saying late late but Sam Doby’s age I think he’s 24 25 this could be the moment that he does peak he’s still young in terms of football career so you know this could be the low move that sort of Sparks that confidence and that goal scoring ability in Sam Dolby for him to go on and be a consistent goal scorer in years and years to come and this could Kickstart his career so I think you’ve got to remember that and I think Parky will have taken that into consideration and I think another question is if his form does carry on up until January could he possibly be seen as a better option than some of the strikers that we do currently have yeah I don’t think a proper judgment can be made up until January I think if Dolby does go on to score two three more goals in a dundy United shirt I think a question definitely does have to be
