with Mr Met uh Dan says I hope they get bregman because he fits uh Alonzo 2 uh my lineup prediction where I put an emoji next to the name that best fits oh wonder if I can bring that up on the screen Dan yeah here we go it’s down at the bottom here uh Dan says he’d bat Lindor first stto second Alonzo third Vientos fourth bregman fifth uh with a question mark next to it uh nmo sixth auna or mcneel 7eventh Alvarez uh or another catcher will bat eighth and Shiri and Taylor will bat ninth yeah that’s a good lineup he says that would be one of the best lineups in baseball lfgm so let’s go so nice move by the Phillies there getting lazardo uh he’s under team control through 2026 so not a bad deal there let’s look here somebody did put that up here uh wheeler signed through 2027 noas 2030 Sanchez 2030 lazardo through 2026 uh Ranger Suarez so the Phillies pitching rotation pretty much set for the next few years here so nice nice move there by the Phillies I don’t think pitching was their problem so go them going out and get another starter I don’t know really how how that helps them uh when it comes to postseason they don’t hit oh we already gained a sub thank you to whoever that was really appreciate that so I wait for some more comments to come in guys oh I do have the poll going in the chat let me see four votes so far one one vote for Alonzo one vote for bregman and two for manah on who will be the Met’s next signing so we’ll see we I have Twitter open to see what happens here but let’s look at some of the free agent pictures that are still avail able uh guys I would stay away from definitely we already had them on our team Sherer and Verlander no thanks uh go ahead go somewhere else uh Corbin Burns still not signed he’s got a qualifying offer next to him so team’s goingon to have to give up some draft Capital uh to get them same thing with Sean manah but uh flarity doesn’t so I’m surprised he’s not signed anywhere canana I don’t know if these guys are just uh Walker berer doesn’t so I don’t know if these guys are just waiting and want to go into certain teams or just not happy with the offers they’re getting yo water’s here what’s up water great to see you as always hopefully hopefully our Mets make some moves today or before Christmas uh the first B the first base Market is is drying up so Alonzo is going to have to either take less uh because the Astro signed Christian Walker the Yankee signed uh gold Schmid tantana went to Cleveland Arizona traded for nailor so not too many more spots for Alonzo to go so we’ll see what kind of offer he ends up getting he already turned down I think it was what 25 I think Pete’s going to go to the Cubs I don’t I think if Pete was going to the Cubs they’ have signed him already why water why do you feel that he’s going to the Cubs I want to know what your thinking is behind that yes could they use help at first base yes but actually uh because Dan put those lineups in actually let’s go over and Taylor or Siri in Center stto in right and around the horn we have Mauricio at third Lindor at Short M mcneela aunia at second Vientos at first first SGA on the mound and Alvarez behind the dish so but there are reports that the Mets are going after both Alonzo and bregman and not that I would trade him but I would make an upgrade in left field I think nmo with that injury nmo might be in trouble my neighbor was saying Anthony Rizzo would be an option for one year to hold for what do you think I don’t I don’t think I like it I don’t like it either I would have rather taken a one-year flyer on goldmit and Rizo if that’s the case you can still sign Alonzo uh don’t sign bregman and then you could there’s so many other things they could do next year if they want to get Vlad Vlad can play first Vlad can play Third Vlad can DH Alonzo could DH Fitzy says uh because he doesn’t think Alonzo is going to Boston he says haven’t been in contact with him plus the socks want to move deage was he just had a little bit of a Down year last year with a couple injuries Garcia no Sims I would take a flyer on one oneye contract Hill no Brad Keller maybe a minor league contract you know maybe some of the free agent pitchers that are available me personally I’m not a big fan of it be I can see the pros of it because des’s Third Base defense is a atrocious I think he committed like two errors against the Mets last year they’re atrocious on defense no matter what happens he has been his entire career so I can see him moving to first base but the con of it is he I’ve never seen him play first base ever so it’s GNA be a little bit tough for him to play first now the plan is originally they’re gonna sign uh uh bregman they’re gonna sign bregman to play Third Des goes over to first base they trade casus away somewhere he trade him to the Mets who knows maybe but there were talks of kasus moving over to Seattle to get him for Castillo but I have not heard much about that since gotta all right so you said they need pitching U more starting pitching or more relief pitching uh probably one more top quality starter so maybe like a Corbin Birds maybe take a jack flurty Shawn Mania would be good because they right now they only have one Lefty in the starting rotation and that’s crochet so I would take a lefty for spot what were your thoughts on the crochet trade I know they gave up four their top 15 prospects uh but it’s for a pitcher like you said a lefty uh that they have under control for a few years I don’t when I read the tweet I was like there’s no way they traded away like Wong cuz the original trade was they were going to trade Wong kasus you know to get crochet I’m like please don’t do that when I saw that I four minor league Prospects top 15 some of them wer gonna play until after the crochet uh Team control is up like Montgomery wouldn’t play till 2029 Gonzalez I believe like 2027 so some of those guys were like in the way near future teal would be the guy I was not so happy about trading away so I’m 5050 on the trade if it works out great I know our Mets were in on that as well but uh we’re not g we’re not uh willing to give up the draft Burns flare manah uh I haven’t I don’t follow the Red Sox like you do do they are they concerned with bringing a guy like Burns or Mania in and having to give up some draft Capital well judging by they are interested in resigning Nick pavetta who was offered the qualifying offer I would say no they’re not really concerned about it I think it they’re really just concerned about the length of the contract and the money gotcha I think they can deal with the money like the average value but the years is the problem for me got you that they won’t do so how about really how’s your Bullpen uh we did sign srino and what’s his face now I can’t remember it’s another reliever sandal oh yeah him but there was another one there was one more before that was the first one prior to se saino it was like a no-name guy like I had a five ER last year oh okay actually I can look that up here in a second for you but um can’t remember his name yeah let’s see here so you guys would be you guys would move Des the first right if you got a third baseman yeah that’s the original plan would be moving I mean really bregman’s really the only guy worth giving a big contract to to do that right um I’m not sure but once again another guy with a qualifying offer attached to his name uh what what else are the Red Sox going to be in need of really the only thing I can think of other than pitching in third base would maybe be a left fielder see what they can do about that because they didn’t resign Tyler O’Neal I don’t want Yoshida being in left because he was HED from playing every day in left field last uh 2023 so just trying to think because we have Duran could play center in right could move yoshid out to left ah there’s too many options I don’t know exactly how to do it yeah and right now with all the moves that have been made this off season where do you where do you think your Red Sox sit in the division because the American League East when it comes to the American League probably the toughest division probably four or five of the best teams in the American League right there yeah so obviously right now we’re not going to get first place I believe Yankees are probably going to chase first place same with Baltimore I’d say we’re maybe third probably just above Toronto and Tampa Bay maybe fourth definitely not fifth we’re we’re definitely above Toronto got youa I don’t know much about them I haven’t paid attention to them yet so definitely middle of the pack probably better than last year though record was Goa and what were they were 500 last year right yep 81 and 81 interested in Michael Fulmer very briefly I didn’t really look into it they wanted him to start in the starting rotation initially like don’t do that sign him as a the reliever then I see this I’m like okay yeah we can do that can take a flyer on Michael former oh yeah and I forgot you guys got Chapman as well y now chap now Chapman can throw 102 103 miles an hour but uh gives up a lot of runs he’s the Lefty we do need though got especially since trading away Boozer and now we got sandal so really he’s the only Lefty other than Bernardino in the bullpen look at this guy stopping by Rising of the year so I don’t even know what that is uh me neither something with the foot w f if you had a chance to be the Mets GM who would you sign well I’d definitely probably go with Alonzo but not unlik a really expensive contract because of all the free agent first basem that have come and gone no more than like 25 million maybe like 20 maybe like the same deal Walker got yeah maybe a little less but definitely not above 25 million I mean he turned 10 last year what was it 7 for 175 which is what 25 million per year um and the guys that are signing are signing for like 20 million a year 20 million Walker got 20 million and the other guys got 12 and a half only got 12 and a half yeah Santana I believe only got 12 and a half also I didn’t even see the contract for Santana I only saw Tyler Tyler Mill does not deserve another chance in the rotation what’s that I would use McGill out of the bullpen as a long reliever but I would not I would not put him uh back in the rotation unless unless there were that many injuries where we had to uh but yeah Mill’s done as a starter for me what about Scott is there anything new on him Scott’s gonna be out all the year oh Tommy John I’m
