schooly youngsters this is match week 14 review show yes people welcome at the jump pill fun and Merry Christmas but the football never stops and we’re here to review M week 14 as promised we’re going all the way to the Second City as Monte United was hosting ver Phenix United in terms of the starting lineup M kept to their big four up top despite playing midweek against Cavalier but there was a change at right back Denver McKenzie went in to Right Center back therefore Turner get a rare start in the team as for ver United a lot of changes as almost all of their M boys are available so we saw the lik of Peralta robino Garden denel McKenzie Bliss Nelson and deari Harris getting a start in the team now when it game kicked off M start their usual bright self trying to get the ball around the pitch quickly as they can but I to get credit to ver they weren’t perturbed and they were trying to match intensity from Mo from the jump but the game quickly settled with Mo having more of the possession and more on the ball and then was trying to strike up some half chances while ver was doing their best to come on the counter but when they reached in the final turn they were more opting to strike from distance but after that the game went into a familiar pattern a very pressing very high and of course keeping a very high back line and M deciding to try B to beat that offside trap time on time after again we see M launch ball over that back line and if it wasn’t for some mcontrol by the mobile attackers or some close calls by the linesman M been in and go very often a very dangerous game then hide and Butler were playing but be was still surviving in the game that’s was until the 42nd minute another ball over the top and this time Brown was clean through the lman flag stay down and the veteran as usual calmly settled himself before placing a good shot over with the keep on into the back of the net M leading right before the half and he will definitely deserve now if you’re a ver fan you hoping to see the pattern change in the second half but I here to be the bringer of bad news but not much was changed again ver was opting for that High Line and again M was springing countless of their players in behind and again it was some close calls and there were some half chances missed ver did manage to pull off one of the better attacking plays this play is going forward though a good play down the right by garden and Harris so har get a good shot off on the angle but inel did well to stop it out and that would be the last rece of here in any dangerous sense honestly it was all M and they coming and Only God he knows as why they couldn’t double or triple their lead they got numerous chances to really go ahead some horrible Decisions by the likes of Thomas as you can see right here and even G get a chance to put the ball over to Brian Brown you expect the veteran to get a brace but somehow the ball BNS over his foot and he went out for safety very must be C to their lucky stars that they’re still in this game it was looking more more it’s going to be like one of those usual football stories where the better team just don’t take their chances and V would get a lucky goal from a set piece or from a counter to get back into it but lucky for M fans and sabata the second goal eventually came late on again some good work by sub substitute Shamar Smith was able to Flat the ball in from the left hand side Thomas who I think a PO day in terms of decision making did the right This Time by lay off the ball right at the top of the D for Demar Phillips who run on and lost a great shot in the bottom corner and finally finally seal the game for Monte United 2-0 and not much fight from there after that and the whistle finally blew to give Mo another win here at home so it was a game absolutely dominated by Mo despite only scoring two but how does the stats read okay in terms of possession Monte Bay had 55% compared to ver Phoenix unit 45 M had 14 total shots in the game if sometime it felt like more than that compared to five from there five of those were on target as I said they squandered a lot of those chances compared to only one on target from ver 71 dangerous attacks by Mo again it like more than that and surprisedly 69 dangerous attacks from ver nine Conners from four Conners to ver Fenix United yeah honestly if you’re a m fan sitting in that seat at catching all you may have walked away away from the game feeling frustrated despite getting the three points that game tra been long gone out of s side for ver long before even the second half Mo had num chances to really wrap things up and some of the linesman questionable decisions even left you even scratching your head but we also have to hope and pray that Jordan Fletcher is also doing well he came out the game of a nasty collision with Mel Harrison who saw also the keeper get substituted and we hope both players are feeling well for match week 15 as for ver Fenix tonight they did say the calvary comes they will be playing best better they started a bit decent but you can chop it up to a bit of inexperience or maybe the tactics of playing that High Line didn’t really suit them but anyway once again he finishes B Bay two very finix United Z okay we move on to our next game and at a venue where has dominated by the home team dumbing were back in Familiar of settings as they look to take another win as they look to take the first win in three games against the ramp on on God in terms of the lineup there was a changing goal Damien H was back in much much better than the junglist they Maj of the ball and they were carving up decent chances well a lot of them were find in the hands of rer Williams but D ho were definitely playing at a higher pace and they were just kept coming and coming but they just couldn’t necess find the ball past R Williams in goal is a long time we have seen a team really dominate it like this and on it never really got nothing going on the opposite direction so it was a big big surprise when they got the goahead goal in the 15 minute kard arbide got the ball on the left hand side facing up two dumbing Defenders but as you is very good coming on his rifle cutting in and he was able to dance in a little bit before cing a good shot at the near post to get past high and give an Gans a goal against the run up Play One n and the jungl were probably surprised as much as we were credit to number H they didn’t drop their heads it came back again at the junglist I were trying their best to get get back equalizer before the half but they were a bit overzealous and let him a bit be at the back just allow AR to get some more chances to even stretch their lead but even then fluff their lines before the first half whistle second half Dumbo attacks were a bit more measured and they were no coming at on it again time after time again they came out the junglist in hopes of reaching their defense they managed to do so from a set piece the ball was floated in and the ball falled right at the back post for a dou balling player he got the ball in the back of the net offside flag was up and on it was a BRAC towards the end but again some excellent work by H in goal kept it down to one n as D was trying their best know to come back after that to try and get something but it was looking more and more likely that the second goal of the game would go to the boys in red and black but he didn’t materialize and one would be enough as all run out of D holding one of the winners so D finally lost at home so what would the stat say so D ended up being all possessed in the end they had f for session while on it had 56 but D were definitely more aggressive as the majority of the game they have 15 total shots compared to 11 by AR guns 12 of them were on Target by D holding and AR only had three on target D had 82 dangerous attacks compar 72 from an guns and d man has Seven Corners while an only had three so yeah coming off that loss against cavali on it wasn’t at their sparkling best and many people thought they would have a tough time here at D holing where they the home team have not lost a game they did had a tough time but they did well enough to grind out a victory and that’s a sign of a good team while D hoing yeah yeah they finally lost here at home but they should take heart that that junor grizel was back in the lineup after his horrific head injury Ron Howell was back at familiar setting to face his old team and of course the captain Knight will lead the team once again no this game would be a game of very few opportunities and very choppy play When the game started more pleasant I felt settled much faster no surprise there being at their home field and the more informed team but they weren’t really cover up any major chances but they were having a lot of possession in on around the port more box trying them best to carve up something and the likes of Campell and green were driv many many fouls it seemed that was the best way for Port to stop them and from those set pieces there were slight close calls but again nothing to test Daniel Russell in goal but po himself hardly passed the more pleasant half line and he seemed they were more packed in in their own half to keep up off the board but they only could last till 41st minute a good ball Flo in from the right hand side saw Bradford who peel off his Defender and was able to n the ball pass Russell into the back of the net more playing leads and you could say it would deserve based on the runner Play One n at the half second half Poore again came out much more ferocious and they again Dom Madrid to the play but pmer at least seemed more interested to get something going in attack they were playing more direct I was trying to get something going but again I could not remember a rig shot in anger and apart from this mix up between Maka and Davis I don’t remember them threatening the goal at any other time M players on the opposite side were also trying to get a second goal and after some substitutions were ending the game much better but majority of their shots especially from those from Ferrera was too straight and headed to the goalkeeper and one place they never mind to score again as game basically dis P out into a one0 victory for more pleasant so yeah it wasn’t the greatest or most fluid game on the grass how is it in terms of the St sheet more pleasant of course dominated possession they 57% compared to 43 from Port Moore M play definitely had more shots they had 14 in into the own though by roughly the 25th minute and had a distilled amount of possession and pressure but again didn’t really get anything going past p in goal what end of the first half much stronger but again nothing was really dangerous was happening in the penalty area second half was a whole different ball game though WS came out more stronger and got them go very early Fletcher come in on the to Foster saw him rushed down by Campbell and Foster panicking hit the ball off the mid drift of Campell and saw the ball trickle in the back of the net one all and re could say they deserve it after the last 20 minutes of action was even more surprising racing almost took the lead right after that but were a bit unlucky not to find a winner W look like were in disarray I was hoping the find will H and blow and that it did as the game finally was drawn to an end and W somehow or the ones that feeling that they escape with a point so it was a very fascinating game how was it in terms of stats well racing o possessed Watos again despite being down to 10 men with 52% possession compared to 48 from Watos they only managed six total shots in the game though but wos themselves only managed eight in the game two shots were on Target by racing only three shots are on Target by waterous and only 56 dangerous attacks by racing why 61 dangerous attacks by waterous two Conns from racing three conel for Firehouse Nation yeah so first of all I have to talk about wat house here a team that’s near the top of the table honestly should have done better they really weren’t at the races no pun intended in this game at all while racing I did say in the preview that they are Scrappers and they have to give them major credit in this one that despite being one n down and down a man that they fought all the way back to get a point and they even almost stole it in the end so again a very credible performance but they need more wins than draws and ended once again race United one wat house one so we move on from one new come out to the other new come out chap Maroons and they were hosting the stars of the East at anony SP complex in terms of the lineup chapaton made a surprising move by keeping dear Deacon on the bench and once again they was out go Austin at the center back position while H view they also made an interesting change up front veteran Andre Fagan went once again at the bench so that saw attack of Gibbs ran bro and Acasa trunk the lead in the line so when the game kicked off The Maroons had the first big chance with the opening minutes Williams got in on the right side but with a tough angle to shoot at he only man to get a shot at the side netting but after that surprisingly hav dominated majority of the ball and we’re now keeping majority The Possession I know car up some good chances including this one which I felt was the best chance of the game Prett Daniel speed came out of his box to try to clear the ball it didn’t work out and then with two H view players in the Box facing only one chter player on the line they managed to squander a great opportunity nil nil it remains chap was still in the game though they got another decent chance of their own but again they could get it on target however will come back on the opposite side and another big chance they spurn I would this will be the pat out of play for majority of the game as both side will end up me some guilted chances on opposite sides how view start the second half very strongly though and they had another absolutely great chance to score but somehow they mess it up right here when the ball floated on the top of the sixy box and he just couldn’t get it P the goalkeeper and into the back of the net CH has some great opportunities after that and we getting the better chances a great ball from left hand side te up Williams for a scissors kick but again he couldn’t get manage to get on Target have you come back again after that with another decent chance and then again everybody in the stadium were left frustrated that no one could manage to find a goal but it finally came in the 56th minute OBS great ball by Al Bryan slipped in h in on goal but he unselfishly look for javel Ellis and he L it off to the big Striker the man to TA it in and finally G this game his first goal One n to the Maroons and hav you have some work to do hav you will come back after that strongly but credit to chapaton they left less gaps at the back and hav had to make shots from far and they were really troubling the goalkeeper the game got Scrappy after that a lot of Falls and a lot of breakage in play and all that was played into the hands of chapaton H you really couldn’t must anything going forward despite bringing the LI Andre figer into the team and the Maroons were really gungho and trying to get the second goal eventually H attack fizzle out and chatan would hear the final whistle and would be very happy with their B back Victory so a game that could have really ended up 67 or 66 basically end only 1 Z how was it turn start Chapan have 57% of The Possession while hav you only managed 43 Chapan only managed six total shots in entire game as hav you were the better here and they had 10 shots in the game only one shot on target but Travon as a said they sprar a lot of chances and that was the goal of course har only managed four On Target as their kicks were just too weak chatan had 80 dangerous attacks compared to 123 by half view as they should definitely feel way that they lost this game five corners for chapaton only four for har view yeah not much to really talk about in this game both teams were just simply wasteful har view especially who I felt played one of the better games all season just couldn’t get the ball in the back of the net as for chap many said that their victory over Cavalier were just lucky because Cavalier was tired but they prove here that they have some steal and he man to get another good three points once again it finishes chapon Maroons one harview zero so chapon is no far away from the relegation Zone somewhere M hope they can be they will have get POS though as they host T at the stadium East in terms of the lineup Ty Wilson is not into the team to partner to partner Jason right up top rashan Lon was also start in the team I also saw the first appearance of shoban Miller in the squad as for T they made some decent changes of their own again Justin D is on the bench but Arisha Morgan is in from the start and AA Fuller and Antony Nelson will be the men task for getting the goals now when the game started M play like a team that was desperate to get a three points as if their life depended on it and they start the game most brighter the likes of graah was having a good game and his lazy run in the middle of the park led to a good shot that brought hon into a decent save so it was all myi for the opening 10 minutes but they do have a big issue in defending especially set pieces and mine spirit was broken after that and T ended the second half much stronger but again they couldn’t find that third but they didn’t need it two was enough and T will leave Stadium East with all three points so T get the double over M holds it in stats mine had 51% of possession compared to 49 from T man manag to have 10 total shots in the game compared to 16 by T A lot of those came in the last part of the game two were on Target by mes seven were onar Target by tly m only had 41 dangerous attacks while T had 56 six corners from Molin Six Corners to T so again the story here is on the lines again they L this in attack but Jason Wright is not himself and then the team just can’t find a goal but they can’t keep goes out either that defending is absolutely poor especially and said Peace and they have to find an answer soon or they really look at that relegation byy they just keep trucking along another good win and now they’re out to seven so once again he finishes M United zero Tans 2 right at the beginning but cavali settled much quicker and even carve up our early chance Bart was played in at the top of the D but his shot went straight to G Samuels after this umber line put up some decent fight and was coughing up some decent out chances but he couldn’t really manage to get any of the efforts on target but then a big incident happened right after that and look at this honestly I can’t for the life of me understand why that was not called a penalty that was a clear hand ball one of the clearest I’ve seen all season and you know that this has to been maddening for Ru of speed but umine escape and there were no putting of a decent fight against Cavalier all chances for both teams kind of dried up as majority of the game was no played in Midfield but the opening go will come from a Counterattack what cavali just love to do another good Ball by ronal Barrett found Stein in the Box who coly put it on his right foot before curing a good shot over samels and into the goal Stein has not been at his sharpest the last couple of games but nonetheless he’s still one of the better Strikers in the league one nil and cavali would hope to keep that going into the half but Hine Ro back some good decent play by by Kim Bryan FL the ball into the box it just eluded a man in green at the 6yd box but kept Alive by Captain OD Murray who planted it back into the box and jerson came in with a good header white stopped it but the rebound fell kindly to Jameson who finally got in the back of the net and give Homan what they would probably feel I deserve one all draw heading into the half second half though Cav stepped things up a bit and there was no play a much pass Tempo I was now carving out some decent chances especially this one here by Stein who took his time but couldn’t get his shot past Samuels and the ball fell kindly to auy but the shot man header managed to hit the bar I escaped for humble lion and a sign for Coach dookie that he probably need to make some changes but his bench is a bit inexperienced and one of those inexperienced youngsters gave away the ball in the middle of the park and again a swift counter saw AR coming in now on the left hand side took his time to cut back on his right hit shot and after nice deflection he Loop right over Sam and into the back of the net 21 I should say Cav deserve that lead based on how they started the second half honestly after that hom line Spirit seemed to be broken they never were playing any real football and cavali no dominating possession on trying to find their third but still they never expect to get a Christmas gift this early a poor poor ball back to Samuel’s right here see Samuel have to be taking down mlar in the box and this time it was an easy penalty come Calvin stood up take a shot beat samels and get cavali 3-1 lead and Calvin’s e of the season after that Cavalier make some changes and then took the foot off the gas homine had the better of The Possession but they couldn’t find a second or a third and of course Cav will manage to win out the game 3-1 so now how it in terms of stats Cavalier had 49% of possession as they allow homeon ad Maj of the ball Cavalier did manage to have 13 shots in totality compared to only eight from hon six were on Target by the Champions five were Target by hon and Cavalier had 63 dang attacks compared to 44 for hon Six Corners a piece by both teams so yeah a very professional display by Cavalier again they weren’t at the absolute best as Hine definitely give them a good game of it but they managed to find the winners in the second half while the Lions this was one of the better displays in their first half but as coach dookie said after the game they they’re a bit light in their squad and they will need some reinforcement in January but for now it ended Cavalier 3 hline one so that’s M 14 here’s a final table before Christmas and more players are the ones on top they have 31 points off of their 14 games AR is right behind them though they have 30 points from their 14 games M’s victory over there see them jump into third with 28 points caver is in fourth with 26 and wat roll up the top five with 26 points as well well as for the bottom of the table Chapan back about Victory lead him up to eth ding slide into ninth racing is holding firm at 10 there is just about relegation with 13 points in 11 spot have you are in trouble with two points out of relegation in 12 Hine have some work to do with 10 points in 13 position and mes also have some work to do as they remain in the basement with 10 points from their 14 games but all right that is all from here at a match week 14 you know the final one right before Christmas so I just have to say to you all enjoy the holidays and we look forward
