Swan Lake first nation eightball tournament it is a as side match up going on right now we’re just doing the first rounds this is uh frell Cameron at the table right now racing to five against Leo Baptist I’m not sure what the score is but I’ll find out shortly I think frell won the first game pretty sure just trying to go off the railing in on the rebound but slightly overhit it move things around a little bit that Stripes tied up to that aall so he’s going to get another chance there Leo makes the 11 ball to the corner not many options here except for the 13 ball and he has to try to get out the 12 ball and and the 14 ball which is now against the rail one of the two can get taken out here but not both um though I think if you were to really try to get the 12 ball out that might work out best for you I don’t think that again the 14 ball helps much um getting the 12 ball it does but it also opens up the table for his opponent going to get one of the two out looks like the aall is still tight up so he might still get another chance but when barl goes up table for that three ball off that three ball to get onto the seven ball he should be able to open up thatall there I guess aall doesn’t have to be opened up it looks to me like it goes no problem pockets are a little bit more forgiving but he might just want to run into it just in case yeah and that’s better cuz now that sets up the easy setup for the side pocket check off the rail here for the eight is to five all right so F’s going to make the AIL find out with the scores right away I want to say it’s two nothing for feral but I don’t know for sure oh and I forgot to start the timer on this I’ll start the timer right now yeah it’s two nothing for FAL he’s racing the five Le’s racing the Flor it’s safe here man action keeps on going here I somehow found myself in this tournament I brought my cues cuz I was supposed to play on the team event but I don’t think that the team event’s working out and then somehow worked out that end up playing here on the singles and I miss the shot he was just trying to open up that n ball a bit more it worked out okay though he didn’t give him anything he’s tied him up to the eight ball kick shot’s the only option he’s got and there’s really not many options around that kick shot just the fourball Maybe and this is a bad situation for Leo because basically he’s going to open up the table no matter what he’s going to turn the table over with a wide open table it’s best to try to find a way to hit one of the bottom balls the seven or the one ball or to get the Q ball to go down table just left a couple of testers here for feral the N ball has a tough place and then their team ball which he can maybe make that ball but will go all over the place no control F’s going to turn the table over Leo with a nice chance now the only thing he’s got to figure out is that two Ball but other than that he’s got a pretty good opportunity here again yeah yeah so I got to e oh e e e e e e e e e e e e all right I’m back so score this one is 3 to one right now Brad Burns is at the table trying to get back in the match the race is a five to four race Brad going to five so on the back on the back against the wall type situation right now for him good player though so he’ll find a way he’s overplayed the pace on that one might have to do a jump shot here which the one ball might be in just in the way for the jump running on a breath man running around nice try man walks the pocket anyway so it might give him another chance here we’ll see Tom is a pretty decent player and even as a four he’s pretty strong as a four couple of starting points um I guess it doesn’t really matter which way you start here because you have to find you have to find a way to get set up for that four ball to break it out um so like the fact that he took one of those two balls just now to the corner that was one of his breakout balls uh he can maybe get it out here with the one ball if you can see it other than that he’s stuck with a combo or maybe he can make that six on its own with a SL slight swerve shot so he’s jacking up his Q for the draw so he had the shot just trying to get the draw on draw on it and he’s got a decent angle here to get across for the four well but I’m not sure if he’s ready for that it’s like a two and one right like you get the shape for the four and if you don’t get the shape for the four you got the shot on the one you’ll come up short of that position though there is also the possibility of going off the rail off the eight into the corner with the four ball but the problem there is that that eight ball will go towards the one ball which will create a problem for him that’s where he got to stay away from in the situation of any sort of trouble especially because he’s on the hill and he’s got a chance to be able to control the outcome you want to take advantage of that opportunity now he’s got oh no it’s too far he almost had the angle there for that breakout again I mean it doesn’t really have to break it out cuz you can just play as a five to one and then just play for the four to the corners so there’s really no need to break it out especially with that he’s got right now and I’m sure that’s what he’s thinking too there’s no point of me breaking this out it’s going to come up a little bit tight on this one though extra angle not not what he wanted he wanted to be a little bit straighter than this can still control it with a little bit of right hand Spin and he bumps over the Q ball or the eight ball or the four ball over I mean just enough for him to have the eightball to the corner nice little finish there from Tom he going to win that match with a score of four to one and we got another match going on on this table I got to find the bracket to figure out who it is that’s playing here all right and we taking a look [Music] here Milo Walker ATT I might have the spelling wrong for this one oh and she’s going to three and I think he’s going to three also R the three on this one br all right the score has been updated is it two nothing I think she just won that game too right we got another her first name and last name is it e r a c y or t r a c e y or t r a c i [Music] that’s e y missed the shots at the corner but he was already walking around to the next shot so it’s a big part of the reason why I missed the shot lots of body movement when you’re thinking like that I don’t know if it’s open really I think it’s open it looks like it is needs to find a breakout on that 13 ball which is attached to the two ball on the top right corner it’s got an upward angle here on the shot which will take her towards that 15 ball it’s going to open things up slightly little bit of good roll there getting the shot on the 11 ball for the break off he tuck right into the 14 so she didn’t have the 11 ball there she was going to turn the table over and now she got to find a way to capitalize so I I don’t mind taking the 11 if that three ball wasn’t there I would take that 15 to the side and break out the 13 ball from there but because she can’t get that angle she has to find a different way to open that up and I’m sure she can open it up from the 15 ball she can definitely try from the 14 Ball but alling with that shot is that the line’s not right so she would have to hit it super thin to get that keall to come back and then it might run into the one ball not open up that level or 13 ball at all and that 14 where it is right now kind of sort of helps her out to get another turn of the table you could try just to break it out just break it out and break it out [Music] only that’s what she’s trying to do she called the bank but I don’t think it’ll go in lucky that ball contact was clean and didn’t point it towards the pocket to the corner is good stay down for that one make that shot as well and this is where he’s got to start kind of working things out six balls in a tough spot the shot on that two ball is not going to help him a whole lot for that six ball but he can get on top of it maybe send it to the corner side that’s what he’s looking for goes for the corner will come up short B we’ll get another chance of the table and this time she’s got a nice opportunity to get out eight Ball’s going to be the the positional shot she’s have to come up with cuz it’s in a weird spot you can also break it out if she wanted to I’m sure you want to do that R Francis white W ra supp sure have the shot on the a angle is kind of funny here but as long as she hits it with top left she’ll be all right putting Center that’s going to slide her towards the side pocket she’s got to go Top Spin here looks she trying to draw away from the pocket now that might push her more into the pocket she puts good stroke on it and she did she had some really nice stroke on it but come up short on the eight ball Milo will get a chance to get on the board now for a race of three I think he should play a smart shot here like not really go for it and if you are going to go for it play on a two you don’t leave much on the a he’s taking a look at it he’s committing for the shot as long he doesn’t scratch he’s okay but he’s going to scratch that’s going to be that should be the match I believe she’s up two nothing in race of three just the aall for 3 nothing I believe I could be wrong but pretty sure that’s what it was now that’s the match Tracy will win it and we’ll go to our other table keep the action going on the [Music] stream oh this is a bside match for Earl he’s I can see like he’s having a rough day today man I seen it all right so side against Sean vanam five three race that’s a tough race for him too I think this is the first game between them table five daral Scott race to three Howard Nelson race to four table five got to do some uh Cory duel stuff here to get on to the eightball good shot didn’t require that much stroke but it was good FES the first game one nothing and the action continues got another match up coming up on the other TV table table 10 BL RJ SC both erase the three moving into rack number two of this matchup oh and I forgot to reset the clock we’ll add about I don’t know 7 Minutes of the time average rack pickes about 7 minutes big break but looks like it’s going to come up dry Sean van down with a turnning cable now you have a shot on the one but it’s not a shot very challenging SE the fireball is extremely challenging and then the other option would be to take on that two Ball but or that six ball whatever it is on the right going to make that one and back to the drawing board here on a choice on what to do next shot to the side is tight but that might be the only option he’s got other than that he can take over the pocket on the top left corner which that might actually be all right he calling a seven he’s going to make it good job Table Three carry to five car Martin to three table three is in survival mode because he’s on the B side so he’s going to Bear Down on most of the shots he faces you oh and I can’t believe I missed that shot he was in tight for shape too got a bit of a lucky rooll because it’s in tight for shape but I think there’s a shot available yeah it doesn’t have much of a shot Good Karma would be him hitting a ball and just um getting a lucky leave it’s going to be tough to hit a ball he’s got to go top Rail and come back down eight Ball’s blocking the contact for both the four and the five four ball is more approachable on the five he’s going to hit that eight ball that’ll be a foul and a ball in hand for Carl Cameron ideally you would want to finish down at the bottom with that 13 Ball but the pattern doesn’t seem to fit so you got to take that 13 B out of the way this isn’t bad cuz now you can come off that off that shot to the left side then have that nice follow through angle to come back down for the so you can also start for a bit of a shank shot you know kinding it to the angle like he’s doing it right now because that’s going to bring the Q ball more towards that fix ball or whatever it is on the right side which will give him the easier shot on the eall the only trouble here is that you got to watch out for the speed and then you don’t scratch oh and he just got around it breathe now tense moment there for shape 2 n El smash that break and he made a ball off the break now have a chance to get going on the rack stripes are looking really good right now I’m thinking that’s the way he’s going to want to go not a great setup here unless he get see the 11 ball through the pocket opening shot in every rack is usually like something that most people don’t really put a lot of effort in too um but you should man I always want to make sure that you capitalize in your first turn especially if the table a little messy you know you want to make sure you don’t take the ones that are messy right so usually want to capitalize in your first turn and if you’re making a ball off the break you usually want to capitalize on the first turn too CU you don’t want to turn over the table if it’s a nice break for got a little tough here too got a shot to the corner though 07 748 what is he looking at I think he was saying there’s a hair on the ball or something 3 now here’s the breakdown for the event it is a three-day event nth Danel Swan Lake first nation eightball tournament day one is the open division singles which is a handicap tournament 48 player limit day two we are going to continue with whatever is left from the open division singles we’re also going to start the women’s division singles in the morning and then the team event starts in the early evening or late afternoon then on day three Championship day it’s team event continued plus they have the Juniors playing uh but the Juniors never get streamed so that that won’t be streamed all right we’ll go back into this match here three nothing and he’s breaking for a chance to get on the hill he’s going to make a ball off the break going to have a nice little spread here here’s list of the players that played in the event some of the players are not playing in the event because they didn’t show up some of them um cancel last minute so some of these names are not quite as accurate but most of them are there are playing I guess I should go check on the streams ball in hand and Ed will get to work by one right now chance to get on the hill early on this one he going to make the first shot looking for the second one but it’s not there got the uh 13 ball in the corner though so he’s still right just has to shape off for the nine ball here or the 15 doesn’t matter which one here with the angle he’s got I will take the 15 ball that will push the CU ball forward towards the eight giving him the shot on the N ball after that you can also draw back if you wanted to change the angle deci had this sun away from the EO but he could have embraced it ran happens every year around the same time and we have a nice little set of matches throughout the evening coming for you guys I guess night now 7:30 p.m. I guess it’s consider evening I don’t know what should cut off for evening I guess 8:00 will be the end of the evening and then it becomes night see if he can work this table out couple of key positional shots and a couple of breakouts you’ll have to take if he goes with the stripes s’s a little bit better but now you’re playing a little bit more positional cuz now you got to make sure you line up the breakouts and the position and everything properly which you wouldn’t have to do anywhere with the stri but I just didn’t like the solids as much we’ll see he’s working it out so far he’s got the shot on the 12 ball oh wait he’s low ball low ball got the shot on the one still got to be careful with the shape for the fball is very limited on how you can make the shot he’s actually better off getting draw off this shot to get up for the seven ball and he wasn’t 100% committed to it he going to come up short and Edgar mcken who’s got the two- game lead and is on the hill will have a chance to close out now bumps into that nine and eight that’s going to open up the N9 a little bit more but it’s going to limit what he can do doesn’t have any Pockets available all he can do is just take over a pocket where the one ball is or play a safety or combination of safety and knocking the one ball in going for the cut on the 11 ball all in F go e right one h yeah you’re supposed to play the corner here now you’re supposed to play the day it’s a team event continue plus they have the Juniors uh singles tournament for the kids that won’t be streamed it usually isn’t we’re only going to stream the team event come Sunday [Music] [Music] oh he’s going to make the shot now he’s got to find something else combo to the side maybe what he’s calling oh he was going straight to the side I thought he had a combo but he add it straight to the side and that one ball goes too but it’s a really tight shot shot and then the shape on the AIL is going to be super tough to get it’s going to miss the shot oh and he’s going to scratch which is a unfortunate thing CU I I he not scratched he might have been okay but with a ball in hand Morris could have a chance to be able to tie the match up a two one ball being where it is kind of keeps him safe too from any kind of damage if he turns the table over unless he Wass to turn over with a ball in hand that’s the only that would not work from here he’s going to freeze up to the nine that takes away the shots on the 9 and 11 good try unfortunate for him though he’s left the one ball available here for Edgar and all he’s got is the one and the eight ball left ront to win a weird shot too man I had to like make a shot and then come off the two horns of the pocket to go back up to get perfect on the eight and I said you know what I’m just going to make the shot I hit it hard and then I kissed one of his balls end perfect on the aall man just absolutely gross well and so like the clo is fast but the rails are slow so like every now and then you’re going to get caught by the rail right the blue tables are the worst ones yeah I tried play on that one too super slow man all right so Earl at the T it looks like he’s got himself into a bit of a jam here he’s like really really tight up here I’m assuming he’s solids he’s got really no options he’s got to find a way to play a safety here and lock him up somehow which the only thing I can see is maybe like banking that one ball towards the 10 ball top left you’re have to lean it towards that top rail though cuz like the idea is not not to make the shot but to go off the top ra kick down that that um P ball towards that six and then leave it like that so then you’ll have a trouble Ball but chances are you’re going to go off the rail off the top Rail and then hit that um temp ball that’s going to be a good chance to end up making the ball into the pocket the one ball he’s going to work it out have to Cal calibrate my cameras tonight again they were all centered when I first started the day but they moved around so doesn’t look quite as centered yeah I don’t know what else he can do I mean he’s going to give up a shot no matter what I actually don’t mind going off the five skimming it and then running the C ball down towards the seven using the free ball as a lock up that might be a better option it’s got a Nick to five yeah there you go not bad not bad worked out pretty good that was the winning safety right there this is a survival match too this is a bside elimination match so whoever wins keeps going whoever loses is out race the two for both of them right now he’s going to hit in a bad way and then the seven and the three you know they don’t really work right now so you got to you got to pick a spot it’s either the 37 you got to deal with the one two and four you got to deal with or you got to try to find a way to get that six ball out in the open he could play like the Harum shot one ball off the stripe into the corner that will push the 10 ball out to the open and then leave that six ball available to the corner but I don’t know if that’s worth effort man I mean it’s errol’s turn to figure that out he’s got the ball in him yeah and his face tells me right there like he knows he’s got a tough task at hand having a ball in hand is just an opportunity but it’s not the end of this rack it’s just an opportunity to do something find a way to maybe eventually get problem is that there’s not a lot of people out there that want to play straight pool they’re afraid of the game and I don’t know why man like you get an option to shoot anything there’s 15 balls at the table you know more strategic planning better um better skill development through the game but people just find it hard to play and I don’t know I guess it’s it’s how it starts right that’s what it is kind of like one pocket one poock is a really boring game to to watch but when you start playing it once you start getting the hang of it it’s a great game to play straight pool is kind of like that too but I actually like as a straight pool player I I enjoy watching straight pool with the big players playing man because they show you how it’s supposed to be done right 100 Point runs and all that kind of stuff me I’m um I’m a tourish I guess uh straight po player highest run that I had was 48 so far which 48 is decent for the average guy but when you’re a higher level player that’s really not that good Joe P what’s up man says straight pool unfortunately won’t cut it these days too easy and not challenging enough no I think people are afraid of it to be honest man it’s a great game and um honestly like out of all the games you can play that’s the one game that can help you out the most in your skills man pattern play you know safety play two-way shots a lot of different ways you can grow from that straight pull I say the same thing about snooker and a lot of people stay away from Snicker man but I’m telling you like if you want to be a pro you can’t do without going on snooker table and working on your stroke you don’t have to light the game but you got to at least work on your stroke if you’re going to be a good player and the snooker table gives you the best option for that there’s a lot of different like apparatuses out there and gimmicks that can help you with the break that’s supposed to help you develop a more consistent break routine um I don’t know about that man I don’t know about that all I know is that um when it comes to like pattern play and developing Your Touch Q ball control your stroke that kind of stuff you want to play games like snooker and one pocket and straple one pck is a little bit slower than all the other ones though and honestly you got to be a player to get it like I I mean like a pool player you got to be a person that plays one pocket to understand how great the game really is and I’m not saying like the person that goes out there and plays it once in a while I’m talking about the people that go out there and play like week after week they’re playing different players because they want to learn the game people say that snooker is not good for your game either man but I think they’re wrong like my game didn’t become as good as it is today if it wasn’t for snooker given that I didn’t waste my time though and I usually don’t so like I won’t sit there and run rack I won’t do that and when it comes to the snooker table I don’t do that either um usually I’ll do that like when I’m having a mentally frustrating day on the snooker table and things are not going right then on those days I’ll do something like that I’ll rack a rack and then play a rack just to get my mind going but I’m telling you right now if you want to be a good player man it’s the only way to do it where’s the sound or is my side not working says Greg White Eagle um I might have been playing at the time so maybe not but right now the sound’s good to go I can see my voice moving on the screen that’s a good sign he he on this one and Earl with a chance to close up at the finish line now looking at his line for the eight ball they need a whole lot there just got to stop the shot basically get to go this is to win the match 5 to three the final score for Errol Cameron going to this match up here I believe phell won the first game all right so it’s feral Cameron trouble Mees and there are on the second game third game looks like frell won the first two frell’s going to miss the shot to the corner turns the table over to Trevor he’s shooting low ball makes the seven to the corner options for the three or five also has the four ball if he wants to take that or the one ball which the one ball doesn’t really fit into the pattern but it might have been a good Escape shot see if that comes into play at some point good to take the three ball now instead of taking that two ball just cuz it’s off the rail he’s got a good shot on it can draw back for the two ball looks like he recognized that opportunity he’s going to take advantage of help develop a lot of the fundamentals I use today yeah honestly it’s like you can’t like if you if you start off on snooker it might be a little bit harder to like work on those kind of things but if you are a pool player and you eventually move over to Snooker you’ll develop those skills stroke speed grip all those kind of things stance all that stuff will develop make you a better player in the long run um and I’m not talking about like the guy that goes up there makes the sunker ball here and there like the guy that goes up there and gets a couple of Point runs every time that’s that’s how you develop your game so at first you start off with like you know eighto runs or seven point runs um then you’ll get 16 eventually 24 32 once you do 32 like you’re going to be searching 32 more often you’re going to try to make your 16s become 24s and 32s and so that’s when you start becoming better man when you start making those extra efforts like that but just like anything else in this uh game takes time time effort belief You Got to Believe In the Journey and try your best as you’re playing it three nothing for feral 3 now and Trevor Mees is going to be breaking next needs to come through with a win on this one now smashed it I don’t think anything went in but he put a lot of power into that one 2 three 7 2 3 4 7 dry break man he put tons of power into that just didn’t come through yeah I’m not really sure why people you know got so scared of snooker straight those are the games that develop the best players man and I guess what happens maybe it was like a thing that the top players started like scaring off the lower level players by saying things like oh this game is tough you can only be you got to be really good to win on it and I don’t know maybe it just became a thing where people just kind of classified snooker as The Impossible game to play um but I’m telling you right now man as long as you’re going out there and playing every day your game’s going to develop on the Snicker table you’re going to get better and then when you go switch over to like any 7 foot or 9t table you’re going to see the big difference in the game and another thing too is once you get used to making those shots on the 12-footer you know and you go to a seven-footer that’s like half the table size that you’re used to so usually the shots on the seventh footer become a lot easier for each player that that transfers from snooker to father and son got to play each other Erol and Emory I think if you’re going to teach him right you got to beat him man you got to teach him right man no mercy the only way you know why because you develop you develop a false sense of security you can’t do that to a it doesn’t matter man you got to be a killer hey I pick up my two-year-old man we play with a twoof foot table I don’t give him a [Laughter] shot it’s true my little guy never gets a shot when he plays against me girl saying well I don’t know I don’t know what to do here like I feel bad beating my kid I like you can’t feel bad about beating your kid man you got to raise him right take his ass don’t let the world in Easy you might be good but hey you got to get better fundamentals have to become Advanced fundamentals and then after that it’s like the focus level has to increase right and these are the things that the game can develop for you if you’re willing to go through the stretch of learning how to play better if you go to the table and you find it too challenging you just can’t do anything with it it’s too difficult and you decide to walk away well that’s as far as the game is going to go it’s never going to go any further than that but I’ll tell you one thing you’re never going to grow from something that’s easy you’re always going to grow from something that’s more challenging or difficult Don’t Be Afraid when people say this is hard don’t try it it’s crazy only stupid people do it don’t listen to them man they’re discouraging you because they’re afraid because they can’t handle it man but that doesn’t mean you can’t handle it so go out there and get your game on Face the music man deal with the pressure you know grow your game if he anything on the seven have to figure out what he wants to do here maybe the bank safe Bing the six ball up to the top right corner to block that pocket he’s going to call the five ball it’s going to push the six ball over to the right which might give him a follow up with a six ball that was a good shot still needs to find the breakout here so if anything he’s got to find the shot on the side with the breakout angle onto the three look like he’s figured that out he’s got that stun Angle now off the seven natural line to get onto the three that your rights will help you technically want to hit off the rail and come back down into the three I guess the three ball Must Go pass at 14 I didn’t think it did but he played the shape like it goes so got to go there’s a valley table a little bit game right so it’s 21 Leo you won the last game right yeah it’s two to one we’re going to start off the aside semi-final soon too the bide match is running a little late so that’s the reason we haven’t gone into that yet trying to make sure the bide catches up enough some good matches for tomorrow for the ladies matches it’s going to be good for father Sun battle on the B side tough spot to be in if you’re the father but like I told them man you can’t raise a player to be a player unless you treat him like you treat other players in other words you got to beat him like you beat everybody else and just play your best game and if he beats you it’s cuz he earned it that’s for today uh so it’s 1900 for first 1,200 for second and 17 or sorry 750 for third thank you top three payouts for like I was supposed to play tomorrow for the teams then I thought that we weren’t playing anymore now it sounds like we’re playing again so I don’t know how I’m going to do tomorrow man but I try to do my best to focus on on doing the work that I’m supposed to be doing and I usually don’t play in the tournaments whenever I get called out to cover events I just think it’s bad form you know if you’re supposed to be somebody representing the organization you’re not supposed to be like doing anything else than representing the organization so um I feel bad when I play and that’s why I usually don’t but today it just kind of worked out that way that I more or less you know had the opportunity to play so I said okay I’ll play e e e e e Le comes back to the table after that hit Carl got good on that kick too they had a bit of a two-way shot there it’s been on the conservative side of things so far in this match Big Bang from Ferell I’m not sure what he’s going to do for the next shot they’ll come up short on that turn Le will have a option to shoot the combination to the side pocket seven ball also goes to the bottom left corner I believe okay okay so we’re going to have the semifinal one going right away in about 15 minutes from now it’s going to be Kevin Cardinal against Tom Walker Kevin racing the five Tom racing the four and that’s scheduled for 11:00 we’re now at um 10:43 and then after that it’ll be the match up between Tracy shap on myself on the other as side semifinal now she’s been playing a pretty good game and I’m going to be giving her a two Game Spot so it’s going to be a bit of a challenge for me to be able to win that match especially because like I said she’s been playing pretty good for e where’s the bracket I’m probably in a really bad position when it comes to this tournament because I’ll be playing against Tracy Shao if I’m fortunate enough to be able to beat leader I’m going to have to play her husband after if he wins his match which we’re going to find that out before I play my match cuz they’re playing ahead of us 32 so de has got another game under his belt needs two more to win feral it’s just a straight race to two now aren’t that much better than the stripes so I feel like you might have to just take the stripes even though no matter what which one you take you’re going to have to do a little bit of extra work here little disappointed but I mean I wasn’t even going to play in this tournament to begin with so I shouldn’t be disappointed but I am because I’m a competive and I and I wanted to win Thomas Billington the opponent beat me otherwise I’ll just keep trying man and and that’s the worst part for me is that I’m always trying um to win even when I don’t want to win but right now it’s 43 and if I get a chance to get back in there you know I’m going to try to P it up at four but the whole time I haven’t really wanted to win all right I’ll be back I e e e it’s just my mentality right I can’t change it just I have that battle in me right so couple good rolls down four 4-1 and ended up winning 54 four straight racks and I swear to God like the whole time like you guys seen how I was playing like I was horrible sloppy shots and not really focused not really staying down a lot of body movement but somehow it worked out man and I guess just because they stopped the tournament for the night and they’re going to continue tomorrow so the main reason I wanted to quit tonight is because like I I didn’t want to keep playing I wanted to be able to do the streaming and now they’re going to continue tomorrow so then when they said they’re going to continue tomorrow I was like okay well now I want to win and that’s when we were at hill hill and I just got a lucky break there man that’s all it was really capitalizing with that ball in hand without that ball in hand I probably lose that match just the way I was playing uh Robert Griffin says great return safety Rod thank you take your time follow through says eron McDonald All right so we’re going to come back Tom moral uh let’s see we got a couple more comments here uh Carlos Malcolm says you know no Rod that should be a foul when players hit the table um wait on that should be a foul when players hit the table that hit sends vibrations to the table and slows the ball down you better talk to the higher ups I see that a lot so there should be a rule like we don’t tap the table um I found myself doing this sometimes too not all the time but sometimes and it is something that should change um I don’t know if they’ll ever put it as a rule oh thank you very much I don’t know if they’re going to ever do it as a rule but they should definitely look into that maybe trying to make it a rule um Elmer Soldier says Rod is that the actual rule about hitting the table um so they don’t have a rule about it yet but they are going to have a rule about it eventually I’m assuming um right now it’s not frown upon because not everybody does it but it is fr upon from the people that get it done too um but like I said on the flip side like people do that like a lot of people will tap on the table man I I just don’t think it’s uh right because you’re right the vibrations will slow down the ball and that’s really why they’re tapping the table they’re not tapping the table because they’re excited they’re tapping the table to slow on the C Ball it’s intentional right so that should be considered a rule uh Aon McDonald says 14 could have been played into the eight which would have pushed the into the 11 and the breakout plus see would have made the 14 yeah you’re probably right all right guys so we’re going to shut her down now as we’re going through the day and uh we’re going to come back again tomorrow with uh the continuation of the open division we’re going to have the lead singles going tomorrow too uh and then we have the team event which is going to start around 6:00 and then that’s going to carry on till Sunday so make sure you guys tun in to watch the action tomorrow it’s going to be a lot of great matches we’re going to have a variety of open singles uh ladies singles and team event and there’s going to be a grand entry also so a lot of different things you guys can look forward to for tomorrow and I’m sure you guys are going to enjoy the coverage because I’ll be there covering it um not talking about the days we bring this up here so this is the 3-day event and today was day one open division singles tomorrow as I said earlier we’re going to continue with the open division singles and then we’re going to have the women’s division singles which starts at 10:00 in the morning and then the team event starts at 6:00 in the afternoon or p.m. and uh carrying on to day three will be Championship day so it’s all team event only and lb Championship matches unless there’s still some of the ladies matches left from the singles that might carry on until Sunday they’re also going to have the junior event but we never stream the junior event so um yeah that’s that’s what’s coming up tomorrow look forward to seeing you guys here tomorrow and we’ll check out the last highlight that you become one of the best players in the world by consistently working on your game even when you don’t need it um but when you first star and become a good player trust me you need it you need to be out there all the time working on it once you become a great player you can just maintain your game by just shooting a few racks here and there throughout the week or playing a couple of drills throughout the week for an hour or two that’s all you need um but on the way up you got to dedicate yourself to it and the more you dedicate yourself to your to your um to you growing into a great a greater player the quicker is going to come because the more effort you’re going to put in because of it um it’s just you know process all right and that’s it so we’re going to come back tomorrow
