[Music] what is going on everybody welcome back to United vers everybody welcome back to the channel I am your host Sean did you guys miss me yesterday I know I uh didn’t do a video yesterday I had a ton going on um trying to spend a little time with my wife yesterday went out on fun little hike catching up on some house stuff um just a lot going on plus there wasn’t a whole lot going on yesterday uh United related so didum on a couple other channels if you guys did catch that um just to jump in the live chats and whatnot but um yeah not a whole lot going on but good to take a day just to kind of recharge and just prep and just kind of unwind and then obviously spend some time with loved ones so um but again not a whole lot going on yesterday United wise I’m not going to talk about lebowski’s interview with Rio because it’s just gonna make me mad um Joel what is going on my guy getting involved good to seear from me my friend Danny B in the house as always my ride or die how are you sir um but yeah you guys can go watch the levandowski interview and just get mad just like I did I’ve been mad about the levandowski thing for nearly a decade now but it is what it is but we are here today to preview our match because we are just a few days away from Ruben amram’s first match in charge as new United manager um and I don’t know about you guys but I am buzz in um I’m obviously excited to see how we’re going to set up I’m curious to see that form what that starting 11 looks like um tactics wise I’m going to need you guys help with that towards the end of the video um because I think it’s going to be fun to kind of look through that um today though obviously as always with the previews we’re going to talk team form we’re going to talk tactics we’re going to talk pressors we’re going to talk players so we’re going to get stuck in hit that like button subscribe for me if you are new we’re going to talk about the match as United prepare to make the trip to Portman road to take on if switch down everybody jumping in already uh Usman welcome back my guy Danny be showing the love Joel there were so many players that we could have gotten under Sir Alex but gladly Glazer nomics yeah we um we missed out on a few I know a lot of people are bummed about ronaldino I think I think lowski is one of the ones that I was really upset about um if you want to get really upset go look at uh David moyes’s interview on the overlap um we talk about guys like Tony Cruz guys like fabrigas guys like Gareth Bale that we we were they were in the pipeline they just they just weren’t so um it is a bummer Danny B says excited but don’t want to get too over the top everything seems very positive the way he speaks to his future vision for the club yeah we’re going to talk a little bit about what Ruben amam has had to say as well we’re going to talk a little bit about his his interview with Gary Neville um for sky and we’re going to talk a little bit about his presser but let’s jump in first let’s take a look at ips switch because obviously newly promoted to the league flying in the championship last season obviously they had some reing break record-breaking players in there obviously Kieran McKenna has been flying um so it will be a reunion not only with our former Academy graduate Axel Tuan you guys remember Tuan zabi that One Night in Paris right um but obviously a reunion with our former assistant Kier McKenna allegedly our former potential new manager last spring if you remember the rumors going around to his credit McKenna um he has her in back-to-back promotions with ipswitch so he’s doing a very good job he’s got them playing a brand or he had them playing a brand of football I should say that a lot of us as United fans really really enjoy right attacking um quick on the break getting from the wide positions getting those balls in the Box around the Defenders this kind of brand of football that a lot of us GRE up watching when we we associate with United right um and you know how much I love Leaf Davis um and his record-breaking assists in the championship last season unfortunately for ipswitch though potentially fortunate for United the tractor boys haven’t been able to replicate those performances since making the step up to the Premier League it’s they’ve found it a little hard to to gel in here um just one win in the League this season five draws to be fair their first couple games so they welcome to the Premier League talk about a Welcome Wagon right was back TOA matches against Liverpool and Man City so I don’t know if anyone was expecting a whole lot from them in those two matches but their first and only win in all competitions just came before this latest International break and that was a 2-1 win against Spurs um Ang ball mate right stick that in your kangaroo pouch um I suppose I shouldn’t be joking Spurs Tred us three nil so it’s not like we can chat to anyone as far as that goes but um if you watch that match those Spurs were just a bit slow they’re a bit passive like POS kago said um after the fact they it almost felt like Spurs went into that match kind of taking things for granted um but to make sure we don’t make those same mistakes we need to start strong we need to not switch off um those are things that we’ been guilty of not doing many many times ifp switch tend to line up in a 4231 new signings Samy schmod if remember him um he was doing a really good job I think it was with Blackburn I can’t remember off top of my head Liam deap Amari Hutchinson lead the line they all do a very very good job they get involved they’re very dangerous on the break Leaf Davis like I said can cause problems as well they do kind of shift a little bit to a back three when they’re moving the ball out allowing Leaf Davis to really get forward so you really have to watch out for him dap especially can be a handful he’s got six goals already this season and then obviously schox is no slouch either um Joel said I like that he’s going in one game at a time and not promising any positional spots on where we’re going to end up yeah I think it sounds a little from the way he’s speaking it kind of sounds a little bit like amam is kind of giving everybody a little bit of a chance to bet in but we’ll see I think like I’ve said on this channel a couple other channels there are a few players that I’m done with when it comes to the whole everybody gets a clean slate they’ve had many clean slates under many different managers but we’ll get to that in a little bit because IP switch do have a few players that can cause us some problems if we go into this not taking it seriously but ultimately overall they’re not great they can surprise you but they’re not great um not only are they’re sitting near the bottom of the Premier League I think they’re like 17th place right now um 16 17 but they’re also near the bottom of the table when it comes to many many metrics such as goals conceded per match goals scored per per match their XG per match shots on target per match accurate passes per match accurate crosses average possession etc etc they are just not playing well like and it’s so it’s no secret why they’ve only got one win in all competitions and it didn’t come until before the international break I’m not trying to bash them I’m just laying out the facts the facts are what they are right so yeah they secured all three points against Spurs by holding out for 45 minutes after scoring two and the first half but ultimately we really shouldn’t be dropping points here um I think under previous managers and even sometimes when you watching the performances this is exactly the kind of match that can be a banana skin for us um we have struggled in the past against newly promoted sides I remember when Brighton got promoted they beat us it was like on my birthday one year when I was watching that so that wasn’t fun but you guys let me know who the danger men are for IPs witch I think I think anyone in that front line has the pace and has the ability if you give them too much time and on the ball um and if you’re not switched on during a break to cause his problems and then you really got to watch out for leave Davis whoever’s playing on our right side to really going to need to be switched on communicative you know um letting people know who to pick up who to leave talking um playing on the back foot sometimes especially on that break so we’ve seen from amaram in the training and if you look watch a little bit of his presser today the whole point is what happens when you lose the ball he said we lose the ball too much you watch the training it was all about losing the ball getting back in Def fence hopefully we see some of that hopefully there’s some recency bias there and these players will be able to Jump Right In Sports predictions how are you doing today my friend dap Richardson yeah oh yeah dap yeah dap is gonna be a bit of a headache for us like I said he’s got some goals already so what does Ruben amam had to say going this week he did a Ruben amam did an interview with Gary Neville um the other day um and want to go through some talking points that cuz there was some interesting things um Neville obviously Die Hard United fan like one Club Legend we love Gary Neville you guys voted him to your alltime 11 we all love him I don’t agree with everything he has to say about you know anything not everything um and you guys can have your own little separate conversations about the whole cast rashford thing but he did bring that up with uh with amaram Kendrick just dropped so I have to come late I don’t even know what that means um but it’s good to see you my friend so um Gary asked amarim um how do you get Man United playing further up the pitch and amaram responded first thing I think we have to be better athletes that is something you can acknowledge when we are here and we see the data when I say fitter it’s not being thinner or anything about that it’s the data you have to understand the data to press High what is the average meters that you have to run the Sprints you have all this data and you have to cope with that so you already know your goal to reach that you can run a lot but if you don’t understand the game it doesn’t matter thank you how many times have we spoke about on this channel when it comes to pressing when it comes to tactic it’s not just about running it’s not just about you have to understand the game we have a lot of players you have a lot of energy like Scott Momin for instance we have a lot of players who can run fast Marcus rashford for inst but if you can’t read the game none of it matters my dog can run fast she doesn’t know anything about football my dog can grab a soccer ball from me she’s not going to know what to do with it when she gets it this is what I’m talking about you guys and I have been saying this for a while um Sports says bro ruin said a lot but not things we don’t already know um and that’s part of I mean you’re going to get that with some of the pressers I’m going to skip through some of it when we go through some of the other one because a lot of it is just some of that average manager talk ahead of a match but so again Ruben saying it’s not just about being fit you have to know how to press it’s not just enough to close Pace down we see Bruno pressing all the time and he doesn’t really do it well because it’s not organized it’s not synced with everyone else not coordinated um B adir says the first point to press High you have to be very fit you have to cope with the demands of pressing High problem is with the ball I think we lose the ball too fast we win the ball we lose the ball and you cannot press high all the time with the ball we can press better so the focus this week is um was also in that part if you don’t lose the ball you can push higher if you are higher you can press better it’s like a snowball everything is connected and so the like that he’s talking he’s kind of getting I mean you guys a lot of us went in on tenhawk after that Liverpool match because Arn slot came out and basically broke down the tactics and this is kind of what amam is doing a little bit ahead of time he’s saying a lot of things that a lot of us know and a lot of us have spoken about but no one’s really come out and said yet Joel says yes but it’s nice to hear a manager just outright say it not foot around the issues um true story man Sports victims I’m starting a 20 days fast in a prayer for Ruben to be successful join me guys in fasting um tell you I say the same thing to any CLI who wants to even if I have a client who’s like oh I want to go on more walks or anything I’m like you know what just go talk to your doctor first not everyone can fast just like that so make sure you can then he said he’s willing to back to players but they don’t work hard it cannot play up to his standards he basically said there’s a a point they need to go I mean ten hog said the same thing and everybody called him a bully Ford remember I did that video one of my early videos for the channel was is ten hog a bully and some of the stuff he’s had to deal with everybody went in on ten hog for calling out people who don’t try so I want to I want to see the same standards if amam is coming out and saying things so and Joel agrees so Neville asked amam what are is non-negotiables um and he’s basically said the same thing you guys are saying things than we’ saying even a lot of the same things ten hog was saying I you could say the pretty things like hard work be professional you should be this is Manchester United in every Club but of course you cannot run from that he says the aim is to think first in the team so I know that some guys will sometimes play in a different position but they have to understand the position and they have to fight for the team as a former player I know every trick so I won maybe he’s maybe he knows how to spot the bluffers already maybe he’s already recognizing the fact there are players who are going to try to find ways to get get around not sacrificing for the team looking at you Anthony if someone ask you to play left back your teammates shouldn’t have to come over and put an armor on his shoulder and tell you just to suck it up and do it just do it these footballers I think sometimes forget that there’s the word professional in front of the footballer word they have to be professional and part of that is your attitude your mentality mentality for me Isn’t just about the resilience it’s about stuff like that when you’re asked to do something just freaking Do It um he said I can understand the players I can understand what they are doing why they are doing it if they’re doing it for the team I will defend them until the end I can lose my job before throwing a player on the bus but if he doesn’t put the team in the first place I will be the first one to talk with the player and it’s little things just simple little things like that um and I think that maybe because amam has not been removed from his playing career very long he’s still in that mindset where he’s in and he’s modern enough I he’s basically the same age as Cristiano Ronaldo he knows who the bluffers are he knows how to spot it because he’s been there and he’s been there recently he’s still kind of had one foot in the modern era before becoming a manager before leaving the game and so a lot of these players are going to have to fix up speaking of fixing up you guys can let me know your thoughts but Neville did ask amaram if he was comfortable with Marcus rashan and casiro flying out to the USA I think they went to a basketball game um I did see a photo there are a lot of celebrities I didn’t realize how many celebrities enjoy basketball I’ve just never been that into basketball myself but I saw like I think I saw Tom Brady there Ben Stiller just Courtside that’s crazy but amam said the first thing it was five days off the second thing they received the information of five days off they are big boys us as a club have to set the standards and have to manage that it’s my decision if they have five days or three days or three days to rest and you Cann outly this is something that us as a club have to decide he said would I set different structure yes for sure but we cannot put this on the players they told them they have 5 days off so they can fly anywhere because nobody in the club says you cannot fly so basically he’s saying like they were they were told they could not a big deal so Sports says the reason I’m fasting is because the players basically create their own problems not being a team playing for one another mentality hard work and great attitude showing up to work with a great attitude makes a huge different it does attitude does you know you win the mental game you’ll win the physical game nine times out of 10 this is a fact um for most often not we are our own worst enemies we give thoughts and emotions more power than they really have over our decisions um just FYI we’ve already spoken about that though on terms of the mentality um and so he says for me the big difference is your time you had great leadership at the time very very strong and the culture was already here when you started so he’s giving ten hog a big bit of props there there’s there’s ten hog remember Ten hog tried to set some standards and he’s saying okay it’s the standards are there when I got in here so he said but it’s a long time with the same identity the same way of seeing things so I’m just imagining but even your teammates if you do that they will talk to you so now it’s a different point you have to acknowledge that so it must be started in the club with us me being responsible in that area so we cannot this time put that on rash or Cass it’s interesting um he says um just reading through some this is the first time I’m really looking at the Neville thing in depth so Neville asked them what do you expect from the people above you and he says Dave railford is known to create cultures um of course it’s different sports but he proved he can create cultures and win and we have Dan Ashworth Dan is well known here in England he has the same position of sporting Hugo Viana um the director of football so he says one of the things is to be practical to explain is that it’s important when a coach says something you have someone like Dan that says the same thing to the players this connection is so important in the club yeah we’ve had just horrible people making very very important decision at this club for far too long it’s good to have an actual semblance of Competency moving forward now I’m not saying it’s class yet because I haven’t seen enough yet but competency is a big difference so far uh he says then you have Willcox he’s technical director so it’s important for me because we need to improve Carrington with the youth teams we need to create a profile for the type of players that you want in the first team we have to improve we have good players but we should be better from what I saw so he’s he says you know we have good players but we can be better and we should be better what he’s saying is we should be seeing more from what we have I really like that he said you know he’s kind of going down this like ax route and maybe what city have tried to do a little bit their Academy is like you’re recognizing the culture and the identity and the ethos that you want and you’re going all the way down to the academy to try to instill that into the players whether it’s your tactics whether it’s profile mentality whatever that is you’re identifying it because you want it just like ax do very smooth transition from the academy to the first team to where it’s not such a noticeable drop off or a noticeable difference or detriment to the squad when somebody is out injured or somebody comes in it’s Universal I really like that because I think that we have one of the bestm right now that I’ve ever seen um in football personally and not it’s not even including just United but I think it can be better in many regards Joel says I think realistically next season is going to be a real kicker and the season is going to do the best you can with who you have yeah we are a little skint um and OB obviously amam is probably going to want some time I don’t think that again a lot of these players should get a clean slate and I don’t think it’s going to take amam long to see who’s going to work who isn’t who are the bluffers who are just on their way out who can’t be trusted I think it’s not going to take very long because some of these players have been long enough and you can’t hide after a while and so um so that was his interview with Gary Neville anything jump out at you guys from that interview Sports prediction says the only part I understand from the Nev’s point of view is that if I’m setting 13th in the league table with a worldwide sports brand and I my team not performing why would I want to be seen in public I mean it’s it’s it’s a hard one right I think there’s there’s to me there’s not a right answer I mean I don’t think I have a problem with anything Gary Neville says I think the only thing I maybe would have wished he would have said it and re phrase it in a different ways if he would have just said like if it were me you know and not just like I don’t think that they shouldn’t be doing this sh just if it were me I wouldn’t do this like that’s cool if you’re if you wouldn’t do that thing if this because Gary Neville is just not that kind of guy um and that’s it is what it is um I don’t even if I were rich I probably wouldn’t want to just be like oh let me just go jump on a plane and fly halfway across the world to go watch a basketball game although I do it for freaking football games so I guess it is what it is but but that’s just me I wouldn’t begrudging anyone else from doing it um I’m sure that back in nles day David and was probably doing lots of stuff like this is too but the point the difference is for me and this is where I start to agree a little bit um is not so much as weing that they should whether to me it’s not even about 13th it’s about are you doing it on the pitch because if rashford’s doing it on the pitch then I don’t care you know I just it is what it is um but he’s not doing it on the pitch and I think that for me is where I’m like okay read the room a little bit but at the end of the day they are people they do have lives they should be able to enjoy themselves and if you’re given permission it is what it is no one can complain but and there it does like you’re saying um Sports predictions the Optics aren’t necessarily great right now and the timing is probably not right Joel says the Clean Slate they need to perform um yes if it were me if I was rashford I wouldn’t want to be seen out in public and when on my team not performing and rashford clearly doesn’t feel the same way again it’s not an issue of right or wrong in my opinion it’s just everybody’s got a difference it is Danny B says I really like how I acknowledged Eric tenhawk that he was a top manager outside the big leagues yeah and Eric ten is a top manager um it didn’t work out at United it is what it is but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad manager Joel says unless they are fresh out of the academy they’re all professional football players and they can hike up their big boy panties and put in the ship we’re going to see we’ve not seen enough of that from a lot of them this year um personally I think that some of these players are not I think some of these players it might it might raise a few eyebrows some of the the the um the players who might be on their way out the door this summer um you you guys can all maybe guess who I’m referring to there so moving on to the presser so what has Ruben amaram had to say about this match ahead of kickoff on Sunday football is back I’m excited you guys should be buzzing hit that like button if you’re excited that football’s back man um RSV welcome back big up thanks for the shirt awesome man so glad that you got that shouldn’t have taken too long but I’m glad you received it man again everybody hit that like button for RSV for winning the uh the giveaway on the weekend um Joel was here Joel who’s in the chat today he was here went through the players who fits who doesn’t um Joel showing that love glad you got it man yep and Joel and Dylan thank you appreciate all your help with the video man I love having people here I love just sitting and chatting not like I said it’s nothing it’s not too stuffy it’s not too formal super casual but it’s good just to talk it and um have that and get your guys’s interaction as well so so ahead of this um match we got Ruben amram’s first press conference as United manager and he was asked Ruben you are sixth permanent manager of Manchester United since the club last won the Premier League title that’s insane we’ve had six managers now in what 11 years that’s insane um what gives you the faith that you can be the one to restore the club to that level and he’s you could Ruben am seems to me like a little bit of a romantic and obviously you got to have a little bit of romance in football but he says I’m a little bit of a dreamer and I believe in myself I also believe in the club as I think we have the same idea the same mindset so that can help but I truly believe in the players also I know that you guys don’t believe a lot in these players somebody’s paying attention but I believe a lot and I think we have room to improve I want to try new things and you guys think it is not possible I think it is possible and we will see in the end I got no problem with questions uh responses like that Sports R says even if we see them perform for the next eth months it will continue to the next year and years to come that’s my question we’ll never know I mean it’s easy to look at what has happened and and tell ourself that’s what’s going to happen and I think at given point in time that’s that’s all you can go off of right we can hope we can say well you never know because we will never know but at the same time all we have as evidence and that’s all we have to go on so it’s up to the players to prove us wrong kind of like what you’re getting at Sports predictions Joel says I think if he’s ruthless and prioritizes on Pitch performance it will last but if he does the whole favoritism and play the big money players and it’s just going to be a rinse and repeat I don’t think he can be I don’t think he can have favorites because he’s not the one who’s identif and brought any of these players in so it’s not like like a ten hog and Anthony situation or something where there’s this loyalty to someone that you identified and you brought in and it’s like whether he believed in Anthony or whether he felt like I did this it’s on me I really have to find a way to make it work whatever that is there am doesn’t have any of that so in that regard all the players have a clean slate and that he’s going to get to see them all but at the same time I would hope that he’s watched at least some of United or he’s he knows a little bit about who’s been here long enough and who’s down tools here and there to not not do the job um so he was asked what are your first impressions um and in training and how much time do you think you’re going to need to realistically repair United that’s a it’s a strong word he says I do not know about repair um but we have space to grow as a team I think we have to improve in a lot of areas and in the understanding of the game again second time this week he said we need to improve our understanding of the game you guys and I have been banging that drum now for almost a year there are too many players in the squad who are really good at certain types of tactics but a lack of footballing IQ makes them almost next to useless when it comes down to tactics a lot of these players can play Counterattack football a lot of these players can run around the pitch but when it comes to footballing IQ reading the game we have a lot of players who just can’t cut it and twice now amam has said just as much in a week so he says I know it’s a different way of playing and we are changing in the middle of the season I think we have to improve the physical aspect of the team so again talking again about Fitness Oly complained about Fitness Jose complained about Fitness tenha complained about Fitness are people going to jump on amaram back now and say that when the players don’t look foot that it’s amm’s training it wasn’t ten Hog’s training like ten hog just doing basic footballing training and the players not being fit enough is not because of ten hog it’s because of the players the players haven’t been fit for years now and ten Hog’s not the first manager to call it out and he probably won’t be the last if some of these players don’t leave um um he says I do not know how long it will take I know that when you are in Manchester United you have to win games and I will not tell you that I need a lot of time of course we need a lot of time because it’s a great league so it’s kind of weird says I don’t I’m Not Gon to tell you I need it but then he’s gonna turn around the next sentence it says we need a lot of time um but he says what I say what I can say is that we have to win games and in time then win titles so I do like that um what are you guys saying here in the chat let me Jump On In no Ruben will not show favoritism Joel he doesn’t owe anything to these players I think that the club to some degree might have a little bit of maybe inherent favoritism to to players like maybe rashford or Bruno because Bruno just got a new contract under this new ownership um rashford was under the previous ownership I do think there are some play some pressure to play players who are on big wages and who maybe ownership regimes rewarded with new contracts but I think that’s about as far as it goes I think it’s more of a we can’t have this 300K a week asset not playing that doesn’t do we’re just burning money at that point then he says 100 RSV he will drop players for constantly underperforming and not doing the basics even during a game he will be ruthless and eradicate player power he’s not that sort of stubborn um Sports fiction says we need to be athletes if my sergeant said I need to be a soldier when I’m in the military that says a lot and This Again Sports predictions this stuff we’ve been saying for a while now with some of these players Joel going on here I met more more so from the club side with players that are on the face of the club yeah well it’s one of these big one of these players who’s potentially the face of the club and who’s B basically been the face of the club for the better far of a decade might be on his way out in the summer if he doesn’t fix up but I know a lot of you might not feel the same way I know some of you for sure I know for a fact some of you would drive him to the airport tomorrow if uh if you had the opportunity to do that but you guys can guess who I’m talking about um he says uh someone was asked him you obviously have a lot of belief in your players there has been a lot spoken about this system is it going to be a case of evolution or revolution so this these these guys love a sound bite amam says there not Revolution because football is not so different than with five players in the back three players in the back four players in the back he says it’s all basically not this not that much different he says I cannot say Evolution because we have to wait and see but we’ll we will play a different type of football we have our ideas I’m not saying it is the best ideas but it is our way of seeing football it’s not Evolution or revolution it is a change in the way we play football so again we will play a different type of football it is a change in the way we play football so not necessarily just formation not necessarily tactics it’s also a shift and again like he’s going back to understanding the game the way we’re seeing the game um he’s doing a lot he’s Mak he’s changing a lot as he should yeah I’ll personally pack his bags and be his driver to Paris if he doesn’t shape up I can see him going to Byron too um if company’s still there but we will see so what do you guys think about that changing the fo we play football we’re going to see a different type of football we’re going to get into that a little later on but you famously came here Ruben six and a half years ago and met Jose Mourinho in his internship so he came here back in 2018 2019 around then when he was doing his Badges and whatnot when he do your badges you have to come in and you know obviously coach spend some time at the club Roode did the same thing a long time ago um Phil Jones is doing it I think right now at the Academy but he was here he met Jo Jose Mino another famous Portuguese manager um he was asked what are your memories of that have you spoken to Jose since you took the job um he said he sent me a message and told me it is a lovely Club big club with lovely people and that is correct it still is but a lot of things change and we are in a different building now we are building a new one I’m a different guy I was learning at that time and I hope that I hope to know teach something here to my Players Club is still big is the best in England and we want to win the again that is all so again kind of like what somebody said earlier in the chat like some of these comments are basically like your your cookie cutter comments um he was asked every manager looks for quick wins quick gains when they turn up at a club where do you see those coming here at United what do you see here that makes you think you can have an impact straight away he says if you in simple things if you want to speak about the team and the way we play I think we lose the ball too often and we have to keep the ball better we’ve been saying that for a little while now we have we’ve had had many matches that we watched where we just we hold on to the ball too long and we lose it because we get swarm we’re diing on the ball in our own half we lose it because we’re pooring a pressed there have been many matches we’ve watched where we’ve just not been able to string passes together and we’re constantly getting picked out remember early in the season like Liverpool and whatnot and obviously we’ve said many times now once when em was announced it’s not going to take long for him to see what the issues are and he’s already talking like we lose the ball too much we’re not fit enough we can’t read the game well enough things we’ve been saying he is and his very first pressor he’s coming out and he’s listing them off for us and I am here for it because it needs to be called out because when you call it out the players can’t hide from it um and he says you know I think it’s clear for everybody you know that we have to be very good in the details we have to be better when we run back sometimes we’re hoping to change a lot of things big things and I think it is the small things and we have to change in those small things in the football again that’s life too it’s the small things you know it’s not the people worry so much about the big the big like car repair when they don’t give a second thought to the five6 doll latte that they get every single day on the way to work and because in the moment it doesn’t seem like a lot but over time that five or six dollar latte every single day is a couple hundred bucks a month um and that that’ll kill you um he says uh plays a team understanding of the game in one way that is a focus so I can tell you in the small things I think I can help these players a lot if he can get some of these players just to be able to to be better footballers and I don’t mean like be fast be strong but just reading the game a little better even if that just means changing the way they read the game a little bit that to me is going to be huge like exponentially huge Sports predictions if the club gives Ruben 200% support and gives him everything he needs to succeed he will be successful no doubt I hope so but we need it’s the fans it’s never to me it’s never been the club that’s been the issue it’s always been the fans I’m not trying to say we have crappy fans we just have we have impatient fans um and I think that the fans need to just be patient they need to give people time I think people were people when it came to ten hog it’s like managers and I think maybe just has more to do with modern football and just how quick the turnover rate we’ve seen managers get less and less time with each one ten hog was already getting people hating on him before he even managed the single game just because of where he came from like nobody rid the Dutch league for some reason um we have to give am time and I think that amam is already coming in with a little bit more of a little B more grace I think because he’s a better Communicator I think a lot of people are still riding that high of sporting beating City in the Champions League um but I think he needs to just give be given time Joel says true but ffp PSR will limit that ability it will but I think that in my opinion if you guys remember the video I did in the summer um what makes a good manager one of the one of the um the little criteria that I put is just getting the most out of your squad crisis management what do you do when you don’t have money what do you do when players are injured what do you do when you’re not at a big club and you have to work with who you have that to me is why Fergie will always be 100 zillion times better than pep because Fergie’s never walked into a stacked Club he’s had to rebuild he’s had to use youth he’s had to do l so many things that pep hasn’t had to deal with so pep for me not only does he always have an asteris during his time of city but he’s always had stacked clubs and he’s always been given a blank checkbook and it’s easy to succeed when those are the tools that you have like if pep would have walked into like United at the same time I’d like to see if he would have even stayed more than a year but you guys all know this is academic at this point Danny B sell rashford and that’ll be sorted yeah um I think I think if we sold like we’re going to be losing some players for free I think if we started out with selling looking at some these fullbacks and seeing who maybe we need to think about moving on because we’ve got four fullbacks two of which can’t stay fit one of them is not having a great season another one’s coming and look like the second coming of Dennis Irwin that’s a big area um Dow might stick out like a sore thumb if he can’t fix up um and that could be some profit there obviously rashford I think I can see rashford playing anywhere in that front three area either as a nine or behind the nine I can see see it I’m not saying I want I’m saying I can see that’s how he’s going to fit but we’ll see because I don’t see him putting in the work to play in one of those wide positions personally but we’ll see how it goes like I said it’s not going to take time um to see speaking of running back says Joel watching that training session was almost disheartening in a way watching everyone jog back instead of sprinting like how you should be spoke volumes we’ll see I mean it’s training you know I don’t want to do the Allen Iverson thing you know talking about practice but um we’ll see it was the very first training session it was everyone’s coming back from International break some of them you know that’s just what it is I’m not going to try to read too much not saying you’re wrong I’m not saying not it’s just I’m not going to try to read too much into it um yeah agreeing with Danny um Sports predictions we’re not fit enough we need to be athletes we need to work hard we need to play as a team we need to be professionals tell someone to close down space at the edge of the Box shouldn’t have to tell someone to watch the back post these are things shouldn’t have to tell players but for some reason we do at United because players come in and it’s like there’s this portal at Old Trafford and they all just turn to um just going through some of these some of these are just talking about like Jose and stuff um the recruitment at Manchester United in the last decade has been quite mixed to say the least do you expect to have an influence on the players that come into this football club or will that be left to other departments so he’s talking about basically overall recruitment structure in terms of these whole checks and balances collaborative system of inos and the manager and how that all works as we know that we’re in an era now where’re it’s not really manager anymore it’s head coach there’s less responsibility and I’m not saying the media will like like to twist it under ten hog and say oh he’s having his power strip no ten hog was a lot of the extra unnecessary responsibility that a manager shouldn’t have in terms of talent ID was was taken off of his shoulders when inos came in because he came into a club if you remember who was in charge of the stuff when ten hog came in it didn’t take long for ten hog to realize this is garbage like like this just what it is I’m not saying ten hog was right I’m about all the players that signed obviously we spoken about I’m saying this is what he walked into he shouldn’t have had to been do that managers shouldn’t have to do that anymore now we’re changing making a switch to modernize that aspect of our club but amam said I think it all has to be together because if you are a coach that comes here and you already choose a players it could be wrong because this is a football club that will be here a long time and you as a coach don’t know that so he’s saying it’s not just enough to get players for a coach which is a big mistake that we’ve been making for years at United ever since fry left we were buying players four coaches and Sack the coaches and the players are still here and he’s basically saying the same exact thing um Joel Life yeah and the basics should be the foundation foundations for things don’t have to be complicated but we do make them too complicated sometimes so so amam says you can’t buy players for the manager because the club will be here for a long time the manager might not you have to think about that so you have to work everybody together and for that we have to improve the processes of recruitment the data the profile the players that we want but we have to have a strong position on that because I am the coach and I know how we want to play I think it is all together but the final word as you say should be with the manager not because it is your right but because it is your responsibility so again he’s not wielding that like a sword he’s he’s taking responsibility for it if it goes wrong he’s he’s saying the responsibility falls on you if things don’t go go right it was what big part of why ten Hog’s not here taking the responsibility for something like Anthony that’s what happens in the end they will ask you about the results and in the end that sometimes comes through me um I think that altoe we can improve the process of Recruitment and I have to understand the league that is important and when everything aligns everything is on the same page we can correctly buy and sell players um and then he was asked has that been agreed then that you will have the final sign off and he in amam said I’m not saying this is the final say but I have a great responsibility when we chose players because this is something that should be done in this way I’m the manager the head coach and I have to choose the players interesting um someone said United has been described especially in the last 10 to 12 years as the impossible job especially given the caliber of managers that have come before you like the likes of ten hog vangal Jose he was asked what is your perception of that and what do you think is the challenge here so again couple times now what’s the biggest issue here says I really do not know what the challenges here during these months you have you have different types of coaches so the guys that want everything like vanal Mourinho you have new ones that know the club inside and out like solar then you have one of the best managers there will ever be outside of the top five strongest leagues and Eric ten hog as someone said in the chat giv ten hog props because he’s true says so I do not know and I think we’ll have to improve as a club we have to acknowledge that we are in a time where we need time every coach that comes here needs time but also to acknowledge that we need to win games and that is it so he said I don’t have an answer for that because they’re different type of coaches um we’ll try try to play our way and my way into wind so you do not think it’s an impossible job he was asked he says no of course not I believe that call me naive but I truly feel that I am the right man in the right moment I could be wrong but the Earth will turn and the sun will rise again it doesn’t matter and I’m not worried about that I truly believe that I am the right guy for this job um what are you guys saying here I love everything a lot of managers with this with these tactics and things um fresh I think that is the way look at it we talk about clean slates I think this is a clean slate for United in many ways in terms of a final like it feels like a final like proper like for the first time since Fergie left a proper refresh a proper rebuild a proper whatever you want to fill that blank with this is what it feels like we’ll see like like Danny says I’m not going to get overhype but this is what is feeling like right now from a lot of the changes not just amam it’s the structure it’s the ownership it’s all of that it’s it kind it kind of seems like it’s all kind of aligning at the same time so he was said he was asked sorry so he said you earlier you said you believe in these players when some people do not but didn’t these players get ten hog sacked isn’t that the reason that he’s no longer here the team was down in 13th 14th they couldn’t win they couldn’t play they couldn’t keep hold of the ball like you just said then so how do you believe in players who have failed so badly for the last gentleman last manager it’s a good question they’re they’re not holding back so far um and he and amam said it is belief like the word you have to believe I believe in them because when I start this week you can say that it is one week just three trainings they change their style everyone is excited but they are open to different things and the only thing I ask is hard work and that you have to believe in a new idea I felt that until they prove me wrong I believe in the players so basically he’s saying I believe in everyone until they prove me wrong um It’s like a innocent till proven guilty kind of thing um and so it does kind of ring have these Echoes of clean slates for me which some it’s going to rub some people the wrong way I get that to me I’m like I’m done with some of these players already but and he’s the manager got to do if we say we’re going to back him we got to back him right um he was asked the average length of a manager since Sir Alex has been here has been about two and a half years is that long enough to really stamp your Authority on a club and get to where you want to be because ER ten hog was saying how he bought young players and um and they needed time the likes of garnacho Mayu is two and a half years long enough or do you need more time than that and he said I have two years and a half of my contract and you guys think about that I think in two years you guys can understand if I’m the right man in this process we will need more time because if you look to other clubs that are winning this league they are doing this process for a long time but they are winning so they have time to do this project so what we said before and Eric tenh said kind of the same thing um these clubs are at different places in their rebuild in their projects um Eric ten hog was very still very early in his obviously the football kind of let him down in the end but the fact Still Remains and amam is saying the same thing um he says I understand we will need more than two and a half years we have to win something somewhere but in two years you can understand if you want to continue on this path or change so we will see how long it will take what are you guys thinking so far are you liking what you’re hearing I like I like what I’m hearing so far um I’m just looking through a little bit more um says I know it has been a short time Reuben but players playing in different positions potentially garnacho as a wing backer number 10 rash up top what have you made of these players and do you think these players are open to playing in different positions in your team they have to right he says they want to play they just want to play so it is easy in the future we will see and I have to understand you can watch on TV but then you have to train with them and then understand if they can COPE in different positions he says we’re in that phase everybody wants to play and if they had the opportunity to play as keeper they would play so he says we will see but they are open to changing um positions a little bit and that’s G they’re going to have to we spoke a little bit about that in last weekend’s video some of these players are going to have to maybe change the way they play some of these players are going to have to make sacrifices some of these players are going to have to almost learn a complete different way of playing moving from wide to moving a central position moving from higher up the pitch to maybe playing in one of those Wing back roles to where you may not be the one always cutting in and scoring but you’re ju you’re contributing just as much it’s just might not be in the way you’re used to it might not be in the way you want to but you’re still going to play but it’s up to you and up to your mentality to decide that it’s not up to amarum sports prediction says I love everything I’m hearing from him and most of us fans know this again it’s nice to hear him say things that a lot of us has been thinking a little bit I think it’s too easy for managers sometimes to just not say some of that stuff um or to go the full negative route like Mourinho so um he was asked you know do you feel like the players lost a little bit of belief in themselves a little bit um and that may have happened in the start of the Season he says yes but this is a norm for every team if you do not win Games you start to have suspicions on the way you were playing um such as like I cannot control the ball with pressure so these things you start to feel it with the players I’ve spoken about that if you guys remember my video on the mentality issue and i’ I’ve spoken about how a lack of resilience a lack of that mental strength can have a Snowball Effect when you make a simple mistake it starts to grow in your mind um like a virus or something and it starts to creep into and you see it it leads to sloppy play it leads to mistakes it just it builds on there he’s saying exactly what I said um and he says you can almost it almost when they walk into the game or the warmup you can feel if they are confident or not that is a normal thing and I think I have to help them feel that it will take time but they are ready to cope with the demands of the game they prove that and you can even see last year they have a bad first half and then the second half without any tactical change they will turn up and change things so we have they have to find that mindset to play This Way throughout all the game I said that as well sometimes it’s not about Reinventing the wheel in in life as a player it’s about looking back at a situation where things went well and asking yourself what was different about that what helped me then that I need to remember to do now or move forward with what was different like in that second half during some random game last year that I can remind myself of this year Sports prediction says after ten hog left even Roode told them guys it’s time to look at yourselves in the mirror yeah and I think it’s important I think too many people are too quick to blame others and to make excuses without looking philosophy that suits the players you have here big big question that a lot of us have been kind of asking since Ruben amaram has been was announced right 3421 you know do we play the same system do we do a complete change is it going to be like a half and half how is this going to look and he said as a coach you have to choose one way or the other I always chose 100% our way I prefer to to risk a little bit but to push from the first moment if they feel since that first day that I believe so much in our way of playing they will believe too and that’s a big part of leadership it’s not just about having a Vision it’s not just about believing in a vision it’s about motivating other people in this case your players to buy into that to fight for it to share and believe in that as well that’s that’s hard to do it’s not easy um and this is why it’s hard to say like I I want a manager who’s good communicating I want a manager who’s good man management I want it’s just because all the players are different not every player is going to care if a manager can speak well or not some players are like Roy Keane Roy Keane couldn’t care less if a manager is going to put his arm around him he’s going to want to win everybody’s different it’s hard to find one manager that’s going to take all those boxes because the players are also a factor as well he says there is no second so there’s no second doubts no second way is one way we’re going to do it and we will adapt some players because we do not have the right profiles this team was built for a different system but like I told you guys already is the same thing playing with five or four and the principles are the same the positioning is a little bit different on Sunday you will see the list of players the starting 11 and you don’t feel a lot of change but you’ll feel it in the game during the positioning and the way they received the ball or cover the ball you will see some changes so so it almost sounds like we might not see a complete formation change but maybe in certain phases of play attack defense buildout Final Phase of attack we might see a little bit of mix and match here Danny B says he also kind of said we played out from the in the back three already that shouldn’t be too much of a change yeah Danny that’s something we’ve been saying for the last few days now that there are aspects of the way we’ve been playing this season especially under ten hog that do lend themselves a lot to what we’ve already seen from rud um from Ruben sorry so how are Man United doing so Roode got us Roode got us scoring means whoever the our Wingers are our Defenders Wing backs if you want to call them that they don’t need to be crazy crazy crazy defensive they do need to have Pace energy stamina and they do need to be switched down because if switch will hit you on the break like that um Sports addictions echoing what Danny’s saying so how do we make sure we don’t drop points this weekend how do we make sure we avoid a banana skin as we saw from their win against Spurs if s are more than capable of Defending resolutely to see out a win they did it for over 45 minutes to see out that win against Spurs they didn’t score in the second half if switch but they were able to keep Spurs leveling for 45 minutes again we can’t Overlook how IP switch pressed Spurs high up the pitch they were very energetic they Midfield right it’s a very good Midfield um they’ve done really really well I think that casiro has shaken off a couple of those Jitters early on the season um Ugarte is really really coming along nicely he’s been good um he’s only getting better he’s had a really good International Break um he’s been great for us throw mrai up a little further up on the right I think mrai does have the energy to get up and down the pitch and I think he’s got the defense the defensive prowess to handle what we could see from ipswitch on that left side I think he’ll keep Leaf Davis quiet um yoro very good defending the channels y’s very good on the ball Lea obviously very very very good on the ball he’s No Nonsense um and obviously I think he’s um also good in the channels as well Amad Amad on the left is a little the one that kind of strikes me as odd not because I think he’s bad I think it’s not because I think he’s bad there I think I would prefer him higher up the pitch um in a more Central position but I don’t trust rashford in that Wing back kind of Winger role personally um like you’re saying Dan probably have put garnacho there and moved ammad to the central but this is where we at right now um and obviously Bruno kind of picks himself hland up there um of course as well so I think that’s a strong starting 11 just tell larte to sit in front of back three sweep everything up yeah I don’t and that’s typically how um that’s how amaram um midfielders play one of them like Martin yolman right now at sporting tends to be a little bit more that I’m just going to sweep things up move the ball and the other one tends to have a little bit more license to get four they are a little bit more creative um I think what was the guy’s name her or something and I think that R Ugarte has played there before he he does know how amam likes that position to be played so it’s not going to be too big of a of a shift for him but if you guys have your thoughts on the starting 11 what you out I think we’ve seen that the players themselves can be a little vulnerable and um as someone said earlier in the chat there’s a chance you know some of them are not running too quickly I think it was Joel who said that so we’re going to see if they can hang with that Counterattack that ipswitch do threaten us with um but I do think that whether it’s a corner or somebody not closing down someone at the edge of the box or again the counter attack I think there are some foundational flaws in some of these players games that are not going to go away so quickly and I think that could cause US problems such as the switching off if Dow starts you know standing off standing off switching off on set pieces not not like looking over your shoulder defending the back post things like that I think are the things that tend to cause US problems it’s not attack tactical thing it’s a very basics of Defending that are causing us problems and I don’t see that going away overnight and so made for Ugarte and holand yeah the system is made for holand I’m not I’m not going to try to like say that that’s me hyping I’m just saying from what we’ve seen from the system for what I know about hland from what we’ve seen from yarz who’s basically an older version of holand this system is made for holand I can easily see holand getting 10 15 goals in the league Alone um before the end of the season after he was injured to start and stuff I think that he could easily get that um I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get more just because I think the system is tailor made the biggest issue with the system and the way that that Striker plays though is the Players behind him not being selfish Looking For Those runs putting these this is why it’s important to have some a left footer on the left wing a right footer on the right wing because we also want balls whipped in around the defense as well for holand to kind of run into those channels and get on the end of them so it’s all about the players behind holand holand is it’s not about creating for himself play hin to his strengths let him run off these Defenders get in the channels get on those balls in behind and these players need to get their heads up they need to find him early let him run but they need to follow the play because if he gets in there’s a deflection someone else has got to be there to clean up and so it’s all about the players behind him but I do think the system is tailor made for hland um D says would I still go for Yokes if hland scores 15 no not because I don’t rate Yokes I just it’s a lot of money right now and we just bought two Strikers and I’m not saying I wouldn’t necessarily go for a striker but i’ like us to strengthen in other positions because I don’t think that it’s like I just saying right now it’s it’s more about the players feeding the striker than the striker himself because yarz can come in and if rashford and and garnacho and even to an extent Bruno aren’t just taking shots themselves and they’re and they still aren’t getting their heads up it doesn’t matter who you bring you can bring in Prime levandowski you can bring in erly Holland and if they’re not getting the ball it doesn’t matter I think holand can be that guy Danny says I would we need two Strikers to get into the top I mean what is xer say then like what was what was the point of buying Zer a if we’re not going to play him up there if we sold rashford if we sold rashford I think we could go a long way but I think if we get creative in the the market look at guys like nepan for cheap Angel Gomez for cheap Alvaro on like 16 million buyback Clause Jonathan David will be free Jonathan David if you look at the last couple years everyone goes on and on about like dujan bovich Jonathan David’s numbers have been better and he’s gonna be free the same age as Lovich this is what I’m saying um we sold rashford yeah if we’re still skin and we’re not able to raise funds then you know it’s it’s a whole said um Angel Gomez so it’s just a little bit of creativity and again to me it’s more about if those players are on the list if they’re not on the list I don’t like just getting players just because they’re free like they have to be players that we’re looking at players who would think will improve us otherwise there’s not really a point but thank you guys for sto by please please please like the video Danny B is Kirk yes Kirk contract is up in June so there’s another one right there um if I had to choose between Davies and CES right now that’s a hard one because C obviously is not as good but he’s also not as injury-prone and people aonso Davies has had several energies now people will say well he’s also played this many matches well some of the injuries were over the summer he had one injury that was pretty much rulle him out all summer he missed almost 150 days one season he’s got a lot of muscle issues in his legs a lot of knee issues and things that worries me obviously delit has similar issues and D’s doing fine so far so people can get over them at the same time with given our medical staff we’ve been burned by injury bone players already I just like to avoid that kind of stuff so Kirk A’s could be a good one um we should move could be cheap I have no problem trying to move cheap in January I have no problem making audacious moves I think that Bournemouth the issue with Bournemouth now if this has been Bournemouth of like last season at this time it would be a different story but Bournemouth are actually doing pretty well um and so it’s going to be interesting
