Kyrie joins us here on Sports Center Kyrie you appreciate the time uh bro you guys had a 24-point lead and then Denver comes back as you probably thought they would but I mean you’ve been in that situation before how do you reather in a moment like that to then still pull out the win I mean they’re tough on their home floor you got to give them credit they’re they’re former Champions they they know each other very well especially down the stretch and uh that third quarter we just didn’t come out with the effort uh starts with me as one of the leaders on the team I got to be better make sure that uh staying communicative and staying uh with the pace that that got us with the lead or that got us the lead excuse me so uh this was a Learning lesson for sure but I’m proud of all our guys uh we all stepped up at the right time and uh we gutted out this win you mentioned stepping up you had 196 and six Naji Marshall was big Off the Bench PJ Washington had a big game as well you know you’re going to be without Luca here for a while and we do hear that next man up someone has to rise to the challenge but what does that actually mean for the current roster that you have uh well we miss you hermano hopefully you’re at home you’re happy man um you know this definitely uh one for him and and one for all our guys that aren’t able to be here and be healthy but uh you know it is next man up mentality and we got to do our best to find that Rhythm uh consistently feed each other that confidence especially in tough environments like this uh you know we had to will ourselves to this win and uh going against the best in the league you got to bring your best so I’m grateful that we all played hard and uh 48 minutes that’s what it took tonight yeah it was a big game also for the NBA Cup in terms of what it means going forward uh as you probably heard we’re in Las Vegas right now the F1 You’ spent a lot of time here in Las Vegas through summer league and and every so you got a favorite driver do you have a favorite team for F1 of course man uh Max for Sten and Louis Hamilton I know they’re one and two uh but those are my favorites man I fell in love with F1 on that Netflix series uh man like everybody else at home right I just I just clicked it and I was like oh my gosh this is what goes on the F1 so uh big shout out to those guys and uh you know hopefully we could pave our way to Vegas there we go hey uh Kyrie appreciate the time man congratulations that win in Denver family PE [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
