hello everybody Welcome to the United stand Manchester United draw 1-1 with IP switch in am’s first game and without a shadow of a doubt it’s a reality bite isn’t it um I actually might say something a bit controversial here uh there’s plenty I’m going to say that’s controversial uh but I actually think this is a good thing I think a lot of people will be feeling the same way that I do which is disgusted with some of those performances the the leopards don’t change their spots do they you certainly can’t polish a turd but from amar’s point of view he’s probably had a better result today than olle did when he started cuz Ole had a massive bounce on a trampoline and won his first seven and ended up sacked because the players gave up the players couldn’t even be asked in this game they did they pulled a ranik they basically pulled a ranik they decided you know what this is too hard we can’t do this but hopefully inos have got the balls to back amarim because amarim would have learned more today than he would have done if we’d won our first seven G games the reality is what we saw today is what we as United fans know to be the truth if we’d gone and won five or 6 nil and then be Everton and Arsenal and everybody else we’d have known the crash was coming at some point in relation to the players would just stop and what we actually saw today was the truth and I actually think shortterm pain long-term gain rather than long-term fake results and then short-term fake results and long-term pain and can I just say as well how disgusting it must be for amarim to sit there tonight or on the bus home or whatever and go I’ve come into this football club with a massive amount of um uh hype and a massive amount of positivity and most of those players couldn’t even be asked to give me an average performance let alone a good performance I mean you would think with all the positivity and all the interviews and all the smiling in training and all the winning photos which I told you we shouldn’t start doing bloody winning photos back this week went even bloody won a game um with all that hype the players yet again let a manager down and don’t even turn up and I think that’s absolutely shocking and the other positive is is that this has got nothing to do with the manager nothing to do with the manager at all he’s probably only trained those players three or four times some of those players have been here three or four years some of those players have worn that man united sh shirt over 100 times amar’s been here for a matter of days you cannot judge a manager on a few days Jurgen klopp started badly at Liverpool look what he did so you can’t judge him on that but what you can judge is the players and that doesn’t mean that ten hog shouldn’t have been sacked or OE shouldn’t have been sacked or anything like that but we do know that there is a recurring theme at this football club where the players are the problem and I’m disgusted today that when we do the player ratings I’m going to really struggle Beyond Anana and maybe ammad to give anybody higher than a six really struggle in fact I’m going to really struggle to give people average I thought there were so many below average performances for a game that was in all fairness ipswitch should have won let’s not let’s not paint it any differently um ipswitch had the better chances to win that game so we should have lost that game we did well to get a point and it’s ipswitch who may well get relegated against Manchester United who started with three players on 300 Grand a week or more it’s shocking it’s shocking the return we get and I’m tired of people making excuses oh he wasn’t this bad he wasn’t that bad I was talking about Bruno when I said the free kick for me wasn’t that good wasn’t on Target and didn’t beat the keeper so people are going oh you’re a Bruno hater I’m like I’m not a Bruno hater I just want him to play well he’s on 300K a week he’s the captain of the team ifs which deserved to win where are your bloody standards we should be getting a lot more he’s meant to be the bloody Martin oard of our team and I’m not I’m not just picking on Bruno I mean I’m not picking on Bruno at all it’s just it’s just a recurring theme of players not putting in a performance and this I I I said it a half time we played better against Crystal Palace under ten hog and when we drew nil nil we were better against Crystal Palace when we drew nil nil we’ve just drawn with ipswitch and played worse in in am’s first game and I’m not blaming I’m not I’m not saying 10 Hog’s better than am that’s not what I’m saying I’m talking about the players why can’t the players put in a performance for the manager’s first game where’s the energy where’s the the intensity where’s the looking of that we were crap on the ball we gave the ball away so many times and there was no intensity and am actually said when analyzing the team in his press conference he said we’re not very good at keeping hold of the ball and we’re not working as hard as we need to and what did we do against dip switch today we didn’t work hard enough and we gave the ball away so the the job is absolutely massive um and I hope as well that people stop talking about top four now I said this I know Gary Neville said it and I know other people said it um I mean Gary Neville basically said I fancy is for top four because the players look like they’re buzzing I mean what did he see a winning team photo I mean come on how naive are we going to be top four top four we’ve got to be six points off top four now and we’ve got to be 10 places off top four now it ain’t happening and if it does happen amam deserves a bloody statue because we aren’t very good IP switch should have beaten and they’re in a relegation battle what are we going to do when we play the likes of Brighton again or you know Fulham brenford Newcastle all these teams we’re going to get beat because it’s a hard job I watched IP switch today and I thought you know what the big problem here is ipswitch have been coached by m it’s it’s it’s late November it’s month four for ipswitch under their manager and it’s day four of training for for amarim so it’s massive massive job for amim to do but the good thing is I think that um this just puts more pressure on inos this puts more pressure on the players because as fans we know the real problems at Manchester United are not the manager and look as I said ten Hog’s gone oie’s gone rik’s gone mourinho’s gone and maybe they all deserve to go but I always said they weren’t the problem they were a problem but they weren’t the problem and until we stop thinking that the manager is going to be the guy that changes this we need better players it’s a footballing IQ issue we pay too much money to too bad a player I mean he’s took casmiro off after 55 minutes he’s on 350k a week like he’s took rashford off after 65 minutes he’s on 300K a week why does he took him off because they didn’t play that well um also I think as well just talking about amm um I’ve got to say um in relation to the game itself is there anything that I could look at him and go might have done that a little bit better and honestly I’m really struggling because we passed the ball so badly we we were we really lacked intensity and lost so many 50-50s and I thought he made I thought I thought I thought the substitutions he made were the right Subs I did I thought that um the uh casmiro substitution for agarte was at the right time the Johnny Evans Luke Shaw sub was at the right time rashford ver Rasmus C he came on for Erikson he took Mount off for gono I thought I thought he made the the substitutions were fine it just didn’t change the game we couldn’t get any rhythm with the ball the passing was so bad um look I I I said it in the game when sporting play they create a lot of chances for their Striker we created one chance for our Striker across the whole game and that was the the goal that we scored so umart Wallace says in a weird way I think it’s a good thing that amim got to witness the poor effect if the right man he’ll start dropping players accordingly says Stewart uh when will it be said as long as your leaders in Bruno and rashford uh the team will never move forward Amry must stick to his principles by the way the result is in the long run better than winning says W well I wonder how many people that’s that’s the second person I’ve read saying that I agree with that as well I wonder how many people um actually subscribe to that and are actually not moody or stressed tonight I’m not moody or stressed I’m awake like I was awake last week to the enormity of the job I don’t believe or trust a lot of these players so I I think that there has to be a rebuild there has to be money spent there has to be players moved out there has to be better players coming in I look at the team that he picked actually I wanted to say this um if I had one criticism and it’s not a criticism um the team he picked wasn’t right but he picked it for the right reason he picked that team because he’d had longer with them and therefore I think he thought because he’s had longer with them they’ll understand the system better better than the players that he hasn’t had long with which is why the likes of rashford and a Rasmus and agarte and yoro and M uh not Mount um and Mayu and and um a few others didn’t play um but ultimately he picked players that he’s had longer to work with and they let him down so he had to use the players off the bench anyway I mean casmiro didn’t work ericon didn’t massively work Johnny Evans didn’t massively work rashford didn’t massively work um and he had to make those substitutions but I understand why he did it and he will learn quicker about what is needed um be very interesting to see what his team is against Bodo glimps because I think certainly I think Rasmus deserves a chance to start You could argue that mount deserves a start agarte and Mayu in the Midfield hopefully Luke Shaw can play again instead of you know Johnny Evans so he’s going to learn on the job but I do I do reiterate the importance that although it’s disappointing not to win his first game I think there will be a large part of him going I’d rather know this now I’d rather not be kidded by hard work and efforts because it’s new and then in a couple of months they just stop the fact that they’ve stopped straight away he can see the problems I think from a fan perspective if we’d won 5- nil I think a lot of people would have been in the chat and all the comments saying I’m worried that this is just what we’ve seen before where we get a new manager and they all turn up and they all play really well and down the line they’ll see he’ll find the truth out well he found the truth out today he found the truth out today some of it’s a footballing IQ issue as well like whatever player you’re not happy with or whatever players you’re not happy with I think it’s a footballing IQ problem I switch intensity in the Midfield look at how much we’re paying in wages Erikson’s on 150 Casmir is on 350 Bruno’s on 300K a week you know it’s there’s a lot of money we spend and yet ips switch out fors and out pasts that to me is never acceptable um and I’m not saying that all those players were [ __ ] but ipswitch were better than them and that happens too often we play a team who are more intense and more disciplined and more careful on the ball and that’s something that has to change has to change if gacho starts United will struggle says mm gacho cannot play that inside forward role ammad is wasted on the right on the plus side sha is back you won’t lose that bet says Derry man our best defensive players at Wing back their lies the problem says Cherry went from I think I think what we’re saying here is Ahmad should play centrally and I I think I agree with that we couldn’t get him in the game enough and if he plays Central he’ll be in it more our best defensive player was at Wing back there lies the problem says Cherry we went from beating City to drawing against ipswitch po am the players will always be bad and I can already see the players not fitting like sporting says Stig uh Patrick says rashford was smiling after the game he put effort in for 81 seconds scores then nothing for the rest of the game he thinks he’s proved himself today say Patrick I thought he was crap actually um I talk about it in the player ratings I thought he was crap uh I thought the goal was good but it’s I think I think long gone are the days where you score a goal and that’s a good performance um he he made a good run across the front post but I don’t think he played well um I really don’t I thought Bruno had a better game than rashford so but some people will be blinded by a goal but I I don’t think he played well um I don’t think many people played well when will it be said as long as your leader I’ve done that one from whale uh as well got a few chats to C up on here we’re going to do player ratings there’s no excuse for these players it doesn’t matter that they only had two training sessions they’ve played this sport their entire lives completely agree Kevin uh stop criticizing Bruno rashford is atrocious if the manager depends on him he will suffer says Joel mate how’s about I’ll criticize who I want to criticize and then you criticize or you want to criticize I ain’t protecting player FC if you’ve got pictures on your wall not one out that’s up to you I ain’t doing it I’m not interested I’ll tell you what I think I thought Bruno was bang average today and I think he’s the captain of the team and I thought he was average if if you think that’s good enough for Manchester United then that’s absolutely fine uh what happened to that bounce this season rashford and Casmir I feel bad for amarim clear the Deadwood Aman was class as always and an uh an AR man of the match says Luke klopp’s first game had Mareno sacko skirt Klein at the back with Le Lea and arigi up top four years later he had a premier league title time is what amim needs says Ben Williams um same old stuff says Nathan I’m just walking out the stadium I hope he sorts them all out uh our best attacker was on the right back we are we barely able to play through it switch and just uh uh says hayda first 11 versus last we were better players are bad says sirj can’t be under any illusion says Patrick Lynch there are big issues with the attitude and application of a lot of these players January transfer window will be very interesting thank you very much uh there uh Demitrius uh thank you very much sporting fans say this is how we started over there I like the vision I saw glimpses of how it favors creativity but it’s obvious some players aren’t it it will take time for the system to settle says Andre I think in relation to am he spot on uh I think I think a lot of the frustration is aimed at the Players same old crap player FC not turning up again High Time the players have performance-based weekly playay says Ganesh I hope the delusion somehow of top four has been laid to rest says Melvis these players should have been on fraud watch years ago uh amarim a new manager must suffer for it says LJ uh not going to lie it was fantastic seeing amim losing it on the touch line yelling for players to P push forward up until the final second he cares says Z3 music official Bruno is terrible at standard situations and he’s too slow just like kaziro bring Mount and Mayu on says mitcher we only look live Lively twice and both was during the first attack we had during each half other than that we offer nothing than passing between the goalkeeper and the defense says Mur as expected does have been real we knew am’s task was going to be taking months if not Seasons the reality is we had sunk that low keep faith in our manager say Jeffrey Jay looked like ollyball those players aren’t able to play anything else says Senor it’s good he knows and now he can understand say sapasi changing the do jockey won’t make the lame horse win the race some clear positive after only days clearly lots to still work on trust the process says Omar same problems amim has a lot of work to do says Ashley right well let’s go to the player ratings um I might need a stean oh no no I’ve got it it’s all right don’t worry I’ve got the link here don’t worry about that so um we’re going to start off with Anana and I think that um I’d be absolutely stunned if he doesn’t win the man the manag the man of the match Ward because um one of his saves was absolutely incredible I mean ipswitch should have scored there’s no doubt about that they should have scored from that chance but um I thought his overall game was very good um ipswitch should have won the game and the only reason they didn’t win the game was because of am uh because of um Anana so he would be my man of the match and I’m going to give him a very strong eight 7.7 from you okay um mazra you know what I just want to say this in relation to I think everybody wants to give loads of people a bad score because it was a bad game but in a game like that we only conceded one goal and if the if we’ have been better in the attacking sense we would have won and therefore the Defenders would have got a better score line I actually thought thought mazra was a six 6.3 oh maybe maybe the warning wasn’t needed then what I was trying to say is I don’t think mazwi and delit played badly so I’d give mazwi a six 6.3 for you i’ I’d be happy to give him a 6.5 so I can’t do that so um yeah I agree with that um yeah very very tidy I’d say theit was a six as well for me um I uh 5.8 for you but yeah I don’t think delit and mazra had bad games I suppose mazra had a slightly better game because he was more Progressive but I don’t think delit and mazra had bad games at all um Johnny Evans for me was probably a five today you’ve given him a 4.9 as well yeah just a little bit off the pace and but the thing about Johnny Evans is I like Johnny Evans I think we all do but he is very much when he was brought in over a year ago was an emergency free transfer to give us an option if we needed it he’s not meant to be part of the future and he’s not really meant to be starting games he’s meant to be backup he’s meant to be a player that you play in the early rounds of the carabal cup or in the easier games in the Europa League to give the first team center backs arrest he is playing senior games like he did at Villa and he’s actually been very useful for us but um yeah today he did struggle so I’d give him a five uh ammad for me I think was a a seven uh 6.7 for you look I think I don’t understand why people might give Amad a six but I’d give him a seven because if we actually get him the ball he’s a good player we didn’t get him the ball so that’s a failing on the team and the rest of the team to not identify that we’ve got a player look if Lio Messi’s in your team you want to get Messi of the ball don’t you and I’m not saying that ahmad’s Messi but you want to get more of the ball to him he starts like that it’s a really individualistic goal and he creates hat it so you want to get the ball to Amad more and we didn’t and is that his fault like I say I think I I would like to have seen him play Cally to be honest with you but um he didn’t uh casmiro definitely a five for me 4.6 for you uh I think he could have done better on their goal closing them down but I mean I don’t want to say too much about casmiro because it’s an up and down conversation with the community some people always back him I just don’t think we get 350k a week out of him um he’s been okay this season I’d argue been decent this season but he hasn’t been 350k a week and today it was just the problem with casemiro is I think there’ll be good things and bad things he’s inconsistent and I think that’s just the drop off of casemiro he’s not the first season casemiro and he’s certainly not the Real Madrid casemiro so for me I think we’re going to get more and more of these performances where the game can just be too intense and quick for him and that’s why we ConEd a goal same for Christian Erikson for me I don’t think it was a very good performance from Erikson um people were talking about how composed he was on the ball but too slow too slow um and again another player that was subbed five five for me sorry give him a five um but yeah that that was probably an area that we looked at before the game started and uh were worried about it uh and maybe maybe that’s um maybe that’s um maybe the game will be a massive learning curb for um for Amarin but I just don’t think you can play Casmir and Erikson together in the Premier League uh Steven says no offense to the new manager but I don’t see any difference mate he’s had one game um Bruno had 92% pass percentage highest this season says Kea oh [ __ ] hell can I get off bloody hell I mean how many of those passes were like five yards mate I don’t I couldn’t give a [ __ ] about P mate I’ll do Bruno score in a minute what what what do you want me to do give him man of the match give him an eight come on pass completion [ __ ] hell Jesus wept I don’t know uh anyway the low uh 5.5 for me 5.5 um I don’t think he was as bad as Erikson or Evans or casemiro but I don’t think it was an average performance I think it drifted um I think it was slightly below average from Delo and disappointing to be honest with you I would have uh look I’m disappointed with every player that played below average I think it’s um unacceptable for a manager’s first game to not put it in um but it shows the reality of the situation it does why explain I mean I know Del’s the guy there but there’s plenty of players who’ve got below average why we can we can we can moan about it but why tell me in the chat why why are so many players playing below average are they down in tools no are they not good enough in some way that’s got to be true um maybe they’re not good enough to play the system maybe they’re not fit enough to play the system maybe they don’t have the IQ to play the system but why why why are so many players just not good enough and that that instead of moaning we should be asking why and why is ultimately they’re just not good enough if you gave amarim Liverpool for 5 days would they play like that if you gave him Arsenal for five days would they play like that and that’s the thing people need to be thinking about tonight that’s the thing inos need to be thinking about tonight if you gave amarim 10 other Premier League sides for five days they would play better than man united that’s because their players are better this is the problem at man united uh gacho for me uh probably a five yeah um I nearly give him a 5.5 because I actually quite liked his first 20 minutes but he held on to the ball a little bit too much and you know he drifted out of the game um and fell into the old old routine like many other players did so yeah I’d give him a five but I actually thought he started off quite well uh Bruno I’m going to give him a six people might be quite surprised by that but I thought it was just a typical average Bruno Bruno Fernandez performance of which we’ve seen plent of for eight months now that’s [ __ ] that a six for Bruno is [ __ ] he’s the captain he’s meant to be the focal point of the team that’s not good enough so whether you give him a five a six a 6.5 it a seven it’s still not good enough we should be getting eights out of him it’s not good enough I don’t think it was [ __ ] from Bruno today I really don’t I thought it was average at best and that’s not good enough and I keep saying this it’s not good enough to just be playing average week in week out why when I watch Kevin De bruyne he’s not average even when he came on yesterday he wasn’t average he was involved he was doing stuff he was trying to make things happen I expect a lot more and again I just thought it was very very average but not as bad as some people but I don’t think it I I certainly wouldn’t say it was good um rashford for me was a five um this might shock a lot of people because he scored a goal but we’re not living in the 1980s anymore when I used to watch TV in the late 80s early 90s as a kid Gary liner would score a goal have a performance like rashford and get man of the match because he scored a goal football’s changed there wasn’t any such thing as an assist in the late in the early 90s no one knew about assists no one knew about pass completions it was about scoring goals but we’re not playing in the in the in the late 80s or the ’90s anymore and scoring a goal just isn’t enough um it was a good goal it was it was a good run all from Ahmed and then he gets an on the front post but after that the linkup play the intensity the physicality the pressing it wasn’t good it wasn’t good so if you want to give him a six because he scored a goal that’s absolutely fine but for me the goal is the only reason You’ give him a six everything else was I think below average so I I don’t think it was a good performance I really don’t um I don’t think he’s a striker um I said said this I said I I expected him to start it’s project Manchester United and they want rashford to be part of it no matter who the manager is but we saw a again and we mentioned it about Delo and we’ve mentioned about other players the bottom line is Marcus rashford isn’t not trying that’s him trying why is he not playing given us a seven or an eight or a nine like he did two years ago why ask instead of moaning about player FC ask the question why why is Bruno only giving a six out of 10 why is rashford only giving a five or six out of 10 why is Delo only giv a five or six out of 10 this is this manager’s first job first game they’re not not trying they’re not Downing tools they’re not not believing in the manager they are giving it everything but it’s just nowhere near good enough so why is it that they can’t put a good performance in and you keep coming back to they’re not good at something is it mentality is it ability is it Fitness somewhere along the line they’re not good enough um and and and and and it’s a head scratcher it really is uh Luke short look we’re into the subs now I think it’s really harsh on the subs and I don’t want to go bad on the subs I thought Luke Shaw was a six K on did okay wouldn’t have a problem with that um I mean was only on the pitch for about half an hour I think the substitutes come into a team that’s pretty much on its ass and and the game’s been set and and no sub really made a massive amount of difference but I’d give Luke Shaw a six i’ give a GTE a six at least he wanted the ball um I mean I’m not saying it was brilliant but the game the tone of the game had been set and and it was very clear that it wasn’t going to change um I’d give xery a six I’d give Rasmus a six and I’d give mount a six as well I just don’t think they changed the game massively um amarim before we do man of the match now this is probably going to be the most interesting one because it’s his first JW is his first manager uh first man first manager um uh I’m GNA talk about what amim said as well should we should we do that first actually that’s probably a good idea let me just read you out what amim has said after the game uh basically said got a few quotes for him actually he said um my players were thinking too much in the game and you could feel it um Roy Keane said we saw the shape of the team but it’s the same players and the same problems we talk about leopards and we talk about spots you should say polishing a turd lack of goals lack of quality in the second half IPS witch look the better team it’s his first game a lot to take in uh thank you very much for that good comments from Roy Keane uh he says my anyway amim says this my players were thinking too much in the game you could feel it he says it’s a tough League you learned that in the first moment my players were thinking too much in the game uh not just on The Bard but where they are supposed to be it’s hard just two days with the team so it’s really hard I think physically as well um we lost some balls without pressure you have to control the ball in the tempo of the game they didn’t do it but they tried they are really trying and they want this uh he he said we have to try since the first moment we have to address the new idea and try to be better next year at the same stage decision- making is a concern you don’t need to coach them in this level we are doing some things not in the right moment and that’s what we have to address that’s really interesting because that’s what I’m trying to say they’re doing things that you don’t need to coach at this level like they’re giving the ball away that you shouldn’t you know you think there’s a couple of players today I’m not going to name them but they’re under no pressure and they’re passing the ball to five yards and missing the player you don’t coach that a a manager is not responsible for a player making a 5 yard pass unopposed to a teammate that’s not marked that is just Basics um he said the 343 is not the concern the understanding of the game is what we have to improve this week I spoke more to the medical team than I did in four years at sporting I just want to work with my players nothing more uh they want this the players want this they don’t know how to get it that was my feeling you start discovering things that you didn’t know like gacho can hold the ball between the lines you can understand that by seeing the games because he always he’s always open so you’re trying to find these things um he says Bruno improved his game by playing nearer the ball so he can give us the long pass but you cannot put him there all the time because he wants the long pass all the time yeah you can’t give Bruno the [ __ ] ball because he wants the long ball all the time he’s Tom Brady isn’t he we’ll try to find a lot of things about these players we will need a lot of time to work out these things says amarim so look all really good comments from amarim to be fair it’s going to take time um he’s going to back his players I think we expected that but it is going to take time I would give amim a six and you’ve given him a six as well I think that’s absolutely fine um he can’t be criticized really um he will be he will do I think by the Everton game maybe even the Arsenal game you would start to give him a bit of criticism about team selections and substitutions uh but in his very first game you’ve got to just go it’s a free hit um and in many ways I see the positives
