[Music] all right college basketball in full effect here a couple of games already underway looks like I’m going to have to brutalize myself by watching Miami and Oklahoma State while we do this show but the good news is I am joined by two guys that’ll help me get through it here r1l Steve Merill as well as Adam trigger ready to roll here we got a couple of big games coming up tonight that we’re going to want to talk about in some of these uh these big tournaments that are taking place right now uh and we saw a couple of good games really good games last night we’ll talk about Duke Arizona tonight we’ll talk about Balor in Tennesse uh which we got to see in action last night in the Bahamas and then of course Nebraska and traton is a game we’re going to cover plus we’ll have a few Best Bets and any games that you guys joining us want to talk about drop those in the chat room as we’ll start off guys with that Duke and Arizona game here where kind of been going back and forth here uh Duke was getting uh was getting what one and a half at one point I think now we’re starting to see a little closer to pick them and uh back and forth nature of it here we go uh the question is last time we saw duke it didn’t work out all that well Merill is it going to work out better for him here against Arizona yeah you know we joke about those luck rankings I looked at the kpom luck ranking 364 teams this season and Duke so far after their four games is 330th I believe in the luck index so maybe they’re a little bit better than the the loss indicates um they’re still fourth in the kpom rankings by the way for what it’s worth I don’t put a lot of stock into these early in the season but um I think Tempo could be the key here Arizona does like to play fast in fact they’re the fourth fastest team in the country right now out of those 364 um Duke is not nearly as quick as they were under Coach K back in the day um they’re right middle of the pack now last year a little bit below average I think it’s a good bounce back spot for Duke uh still rate them as one of the best defensive teams in the country and I think that’s the difference here two good offenses but Duke has the better defense um lean Duke and it’s really going to come down on which team can dictate their Tempo and if Duke can do so I think they’re going to have the edge yeah it it certainly feels like it here uh Tri it feels like they’ve got enough scoring uh this Duke team in order to be able to pull this thing out late it also feels like we’re probably going to have enough possessions and the points are coming in this game one way or the other the question is who do you who do you trust to be able to score buckets uh late here and there’s not a whole lot to like about this dup team do you think they bounce back after that let down yeah so I I agree with every single thing Steve said so I’m going to try to just expound on a couple of points that that he made here so D this matchup very much favors Duke the only the only angle you’ve got in my opinion with Arizona is the fact that they’re the home team right like if you if if you put a ton of stock in that tough you know it’s a true Road game for Duke early in the season I mean it’s going to be a great atmosphere outside of that everything that the matchup completely favors Duke so I saw this dude team play three times in person last year throughout the course of the season and one thing I noticed about them seeing them early in like November December and then again in January and again in February is they got much tougher inside defensively as the season went on they they really lacked that interior toughness early in the season and then when they got to the end of the season the the NCA tournament they they were really much tougher defensively on the interior now this year’s team is not last year’s Duke team but it’s still John CH and I I know that that was a a point of emphasis for him coming into this year so that’s a problem for Arizona because the way Arizona wants to play as Steve said they they will fly up and down the court with the end goal being getting to the rim before you get to the rim or getting to the foul line right using their athleticism to get to the foul line and Duke does a phenomenal job of Defending without foul so that right there I think is going to be a real issue for for Arizona this is not a prolific shooting team you know their offensive numbers are good their offensive ranking is good but they do not shoot from the perimeter extremely like extremely well I think coming into this game they’re they’re like outside the top 250 in three-point shooting or or it’s not very good obviously small sample only a few games but that’s just not their MO they don’t want to shoot from from the perimeter all day they want to get up and down get to the rim get to the foul line and they’ve been able to do that against the likes of kishis Old Dominion even Wis who didn’t really have the the bodies to defend them Duke does have the guys to defend them and Duke is has really gotten better they’re they’re better earlier this year at defending the paint I think that really makes it difficult for Arizona to win this game again you can ride a great home atmosphere to a win we’ve seen it happen a million times but outside of that I I don’t see much that favors Arizona in this matchup so I could only play Duke here duke it is yeah canle and uh and Cooper flag two guys that certainly worth keeping an eye on all season long will they get it done tonight against Arizona in a bounceback spot coming off that loose uh that loss against Kentucky another interesting game coming up here tonight uh and we previewed this game yesterday on the show both these games in fact uh with Baylor taking on the Johnnies Tennessee taking on Virginia and marij what a game it was for Baylor and the Johnny’s double overtime buzzer beating three to get it done for Baylor Tennessee had to wait forever for that game to be over and then handled their business against Virginia so uh what is it that we get tonight here round two Baylor taking on Tennessee these situations are so tricky right with you know we talked a lot about this coming up the next couple weeks you’re going to have neutral courts two three games in a row um and it just makes these very I I usually cross most of them from my list but I do think sometimes you get some matchups you can look at as far as Tempo pace and can benefit one team opposed to the other first thing it jumps out to you about Tennessee is right now they’re the most efficient defense in the country not a surprise they’re top two or three it seems like every season uh they play excellent defense I do think that favors teams in situations like this in tournaments where you’re having to play multiple games um and early in the season where you’re having to play several games in a week uh Baylor meanwhile one of the best offensive teams in the country but not as good defensively uh so I’ll lean towards Tennessee I’d rather have the better defense in a quick turnaround situation like this and right now they are technically the best defense in the country yeah they they certainly are here and they show it again last night there trig uh that Balor game was out of control uh glad somebody finally ended up winning it here but uh the Johnny’s very long very athletic so is Tennessee here uh who does this matchup favor do you think so I had Baylor yesterday on the money line um losing Ohio early in the day I felt like I deserve that one so um you know I was happy that they won but I I have some serious issues with this Baylor team uh that St John’s was able to expose last night and now I’m I’m really confident that that I’m that I’m G to be right about this so I first of all Steve’s right Baylor’s a mess defensively that that team is has and it’s been going on for a couple of years now so Baylor won a national championship back in 2021 heavily predicated on very good defense I I’m I’m convinced that Jerome Tang was was the better Coach there because Baylor’s teams have regressed defensively every single year since and this team is an absolute mess on defense there’s no buying there’s just it’s just a mess okay the other thing that’s just a mess with Baylor’s that their organization I like Scott drew basically just allowed that to get out of hand in the first half yesterday for St John’s to open up an 18-point lead anyone with a brain or eyes could have seen that if you called like they needed a timeout in the first half you wouldn’t call it Baylor was so out of sorts just like the this fumbling the ball away no offensive spacing and it was just it was just a mess and I have to be like again as someone that was on Baylor yesterday the they got every call and every break that you could have ever asked for in that game and they still managed to essentially lose lose the game they they won the game on a Jeremy roach buzzer beer 3 after St John’s Miss multiple free throws so as far as I’m concerned Baylor lost that game they also potentially lo I I don’t know what the deal is with VJ Edgecomb I thought he pulled his hamy and then he’s back out there I was really surprised of the return of the game I’d be very interested in his status today he didn’t play particularly well yesterday but like that would be a considerable loss for this game um I it’s something that my opinion would would you know move the needle a little bit I I would give at Tennessee at least a point if he’s not able to go and it just goes back to like you know I thought Baylor this year you go back to Baylor last year a bunch of elite Shooters but the excuses were made for them they don’t have well they don’t have a big well you know they don’t have interior play so it’s all three-point shooting well they had yibs Missy who was the 21st pick in the NBA draft and then if you look at the then they had Jakob jacobe Walter who’s the 19th pick in the n draft so a a Baylor team with two NBA guys two top 20 NBA draft picks last year under achieve it’s gonna probably happen again this year I just I’m I’m kind of G getting out on Drew as a coach the defense has been horrific for three years it looks like it’s a mess this year it looks like this is going to be a Baylor team that’s just like brimming with potential and offensive talent but never actually realizes it and that type of team is not going to be good against the number because of of of where Baylor is rated I’ll even go back to the first game of the Year Joe like everyone wants to give them a pass for getting obliterated by Gonzaga because it was a home game for Gonzaga and yes it’s a tough spot but like you’re supposed to be a top 15 team and you just got run out of the gym I I think I’m out on Baylor after last night they have serious issues that they need to correct I don’t think Tennessee was done any favors with like a 10 pm local tip I will say that like that could be a little bit tricky maybe even later that that might have tipped off even later than 10 local time but Tennessee is the better team here the numbers right around I made it Tennessee minus six so a little bit of line value I didn’t have I did I just didn’t make my card because I didn’t really want to lay four and a half but I I feel like Tennessee if they play their game wins this one comfortably pulls away in the end yeah looks like there’s a lot of people agree with you that trick not exactly all confident in bailor anymore at this point here a lot of basketball can I add one more thing Jo can I can I add one more thing since I talking about three years ago this is more relevant to this game St John’s where did it go I believe they shot 28 free throws yesterday did not shoot them particularly well another reason St John’s lost that game Tennessee Lo they live at the foul line they they know how to draw fouls they live at the foul line I I could see them just drawing foul after foul in this game and and that’s another way they probably cover yeah would not Shock me uh at all in this one here is that game uh coming up here guys a little bit later round two in that tournament then we got another interesting game uh coming up a little bit later between two teams that know a little something about one another as uh Nebraska taking on kraton uh boy you want to talk about rivalries huh what do you think Marl Nebraska taking on kraton here two teams where I believe the road team has kind of dominated this series for whatever reason there looks like the road teams have been pretty profitable to back are you leaning one way or the other uh in this game here could it be an over could it be more of a dog fight what do you think we get yeah I mean that’s obviously a rivalry but you got to figure it’s probably a bigger game for kraton right you know Nebraska’s a football school and then kraton you know they make their name with the basketball team and even though they’re a good siiz favorite here I think it’s probably a big game for them still um numbers a little pricey I mean 10 and a half right now you’re going to have to have a substantial win here by kraton but I do think they’re the better team on both ends of the Court uh Nebraska has a chance to contend defensively not a huge different defensively but I think Katon has a substantial offensive Edge and that’s something that always worries you with Road teams that they’re not able to score you know whether it’s college football or college basketball if you’re asking for a dog to keep it close or get that back door cover you want some offensive punch and Nebraska has not had that this season especially from three they’re averaging just five for 21 from three-point range so far this season after their first four games and overall they’re shooting less than 25% from Beyond The Arc I don’t look for that to get a lot better tonight on the road hostile environment against a good defensive Squad uh so if you’re going to play it I would lay it with kraton minus a 10 and a half yeah Road team has won three straight meetings uh and also T I believe three straight unders here which I guess would favor well I guess the road team in here getting what 10 11 points how many are they getting now it seems like this line just keeps growing here with Nebraska yeah I think it’s at 10 and a half I I made this number 10 um so I don’t see a ton of of line value but I I’m pretty confident that kraton is the right side in this game I I agree with Steve uh so a couple of things I obviously you mentioned this is a home game you know we we’re in mte time where a bunch of these are on neutral but this game is in Omaha uh so that’s and and like Steve said that’s aad basketball city that is they will show out every time they play at home so definite homec Court Edge in this game for for kraton even early in the season I the the thing that that tempts me the most here with kraton and Joe they are an elite shooting Team Elite shooting team they were last year they will be again this year it’s still cul Runner and then guys playing around him it’s the same idea and so far this season they’re shooting just 31.5% from three-point range that is going to change at some point and probably at some point very soon because they they’re shooting 18th or they’re 18th in the country in field goal percentage 52.3% for whatever reason the threes haven’t haven’t fallen yet but again we’re talking a handful of games it’s a small sample size if if they get hot from three they’re going to be up probably 25 points at halftime so like it’s going to be one of those games I truly believe like if this is the game kraton breaks out of their little mini three-point shooting slump it’s one of those games where you’re looking at like where they’re putting up it’s like 50 to 31 or something ridiculous like that which we’ve seen kraton do so many times right they always have a game or two where they’re just lethal in the first half and they’ve they’ve got a 50 spot on the board at halftime it feels like this could be that game so when you’re betting it you could do this one of two ways like 10 I think 10 is probably the right number I think even if kraton doesn’t play their best game they could pull away and win by 10 maybe win by 11 so maybe it gets there in the end I like Katon first half here with the with the understanding that if you don’t hit that maybe you would come over the top and play the second half and then just basically you’re just betting on kraton having like a very strong stretch at home for 20 minutes if you get your money in the first half get out of there take your win go bet one of the other trillion games on today but if not maybe you look at the second half because now you’d be S now you’d be looking at a much more sort of palatable number for the full game if the first half doesn’t get there that being said my gut says kraton comes out Fir and if they’re hitting those threes it’s a double digigit halftime lead so I lean kraton whatever the first half line is I I think that’s the way I would look at this game all right looking at uh kraton in the first half to get it done again Road team’s been pretty successful here in the last couple of times out uh and we’ll see what happens uh in this one actually a pretty darn good game getting ready ready to uh getting ready to go a little bit later and of course guys if you’re joining us here for the first time don’t forget to hit that talk today live at noon Eastern hey look first I got point out about him is you like sometimes the obvious Works in sports betting I’m always a contrarian at heart check out fade the public video this weekend here in the NFL um but we all knew they’re going to play faster you know Brian Earl the new coach from Cornell loves Tempo I think they’re 28th down the nation on Tempo I think every game has gone over with some substantial line moves we’re talking like five to 10o moves they’ve been squeaking over by just a basket here or there though so the closing line has been very sharp and once again this total went from like 160ish 161 up to 164 today um so you know the overs have been working I’m not sure there’s much value left with these overs we’ll see what happens pleasantly surprised with how well William and Mary’s been playing this season um they had that three-game trip to win thp which we talked about last Friday here on the show heartbreaking loss on Friday night they were up by 13 points outright as a seven-point dog gave up a three at the buzzer to lose by one had to come back and play Saturday as a five-point favorite lost by two to NC Central but then anoun nice bounce back on Sunday a 15-point win as a dog against Georgia Southern they’ve been off since came back home now they’re at NC State tonight at appalachin State Sunday you know this is a really tough trip here but uh they have been a play on team so far and once again 5 and0 to the over I would not disagree with the over until we see otherwise uh a little bit of money has comeing on NC State today this Line’s gone from 15 up to 16 they’ve looked pretty good this season and they’ve put up 81 points or more in three of their four games so should be another high scoring game tonight the over would probably be my play if you’re going to play it oh looking at the over here tonight NC State and William and Mary C bill you asked and we answered here for you and of course if you have any other game games that you guys might be interested in wanting uh wanting to hear about go ahead drop them in the chat room we’ll get to as many as we can here and uh trig got a couple of other very interesting games coming on I know uh and I saw it in the chat room that uh you weren’t a big fan of Youngstown State maybe so much this year but there seems to be a lot of people betting them uh as of late here this is a game coming up in about an hour from now uh and they are a what five and a half sixo favorite here against Presbyterian um Youngstown State for you seems to be a lot of people like this team this year yeah I I’m not like like you said I’m not I don’t like them this year in the in the respect that like I I’d be really surprised if they so obviously the Youngstown State team from from two years ago was the breakout year for them um last year not quite as good but I I I I mean without Calhoun like they’re not in my opinion the same team I think that they you know I actually was pretty surprised at the result yesterday I I did think Monmouth could have got them there um you know I just I I thought that they would have hung around in that game um the Syracuse result was shocking to me because I thought I figured that would be where Syracuse got their big win in cover um and that game actually doesn’t really the final score doesn’t really do Youngtown State much job Justice because that was in double overtime so you look glance quick and you think oh a ninepoint loss for Youngtown that was in double overtime so absolutely destroyed by Ohio State like I guess that’s where I’m at on Youngstown State when they play when when we get to Horizon league play and and now they’re priced as a a you know they’re they’re serious halves and have knots in that League there has been for the last couple years um when they’re priced as like a a superior option in the Horizon League like let’s say they’re like a two-point favorite on the road that’s what I’m interested in playing against them early in the year against Presbyterian not interested in fading them like I said if I was going to take a shot against um Youngstown it would have been with Monmouth it might be tomorrow with Stephen F Austin um not as I I just don’t I don’t have much of a take on Presbytarian so that’s just not the team I want to take a shot with that being said like this is three games in three days this one is down in Texas somewhere I believe Stephen F Austin is the host of this mte because it’s in N nak do nakad dois anyway that’s where Stephen up Austin is so now if you get let’s say you get uh Youngstown they run out Presbyterian because they’re just a little bit better and now they’ve got back-to-back win and covers going into Sunday which will now be a true Road game for them I’m sorry going into Saturday which would now be a true Road game for them that that might be where I fade Youngstown State it’s not going to be here but it might be tomorrow with the Lumberjacks Stephen F Austin Lumberjacks love it all right young stown State coming up uh in just about an hour there Merl we talked about uh this uh Sean Hall uh Team yesterday and of course what do they do they go to overtime so they screw the under uh that we liked in that game uh yesterday against your Virginia Commonwealth there VCU uh but now they got got to take on a Vandy team it was a nice win by seen Hall but now they got to take on a Vandy team who a lot of people were looking at Nevada yesterday and boy I mean Vandy won the game but they also gave up I think a 12-point lead AJ hogard it was a guy that Tri and I talked about former Michigan State guy now on Bandy was big for them uh I unless Sean Hall can shut down this Vanderbilt offense I how how are they winning this game and are they worth a shot here I guess defense wins right well that’s going to be the key here seed Hall rates a substantial Edge defensively uh Vandy rates the offensive Edge but as I said earlier talking about that Tennessee Baylor game I do think the quick turnarounds favored the better defensive team right because fatigue kicks in more on offense tired leg especially with the three-point heavy shots that everyone takes nowadays um by the way I had Nevada yesterday that was my client play so I got that game wrong um so probably not the best person at hasco Bel vanderbelt right now uh but I faded them yesterday maybe I was a day early I I think SE Hall is the way to go tonight yeah Sean Hall and VY SE Hall maybe another shot of the under here at 134 but I do think that’s correlated are we going to get enough points from SE Hall uh to get that done here is the big question uh all right so trig you and I talked yesterday we left we said listen St Jon’s is not going to roll over for Texas Tech they didn’t roll over for Texas T trick uh and now they got Syracuse here coming up uh at the ledge classic at the barlay center in Brooklyn what uh what do you who bounces back here in this spot do you think well I I mean I gotta say I was impressed with both teams yesterday like s you know Syracuse so this is so let just are we are we talking Syracuse Texas Tech or I guess I’ll talk let me talk yeah let me talk Syracuse Texas Tech first so I was mostly impressed when s yesterday if you go back to yesterday’s show I thought they would stay within the number they even dug themselves a little hole down 11 at halftime battle all all the way back to take a lead really no shame in in the loss for Syracuse they lose that game by four and then of course yes you were Joe we talked about St Joe’s yesterday covering the number which they covered easily Texas Tech sort of of nips them in the end win 7778 that being said I want to just go back and look at what I made the number here because I don’t remember off the top of my head but the the point is I’m going to go back to what I said about Syracuse yesterday I I think like to to think that they you know the struggle the early struggle against teams like cor Colgate Le Moine teams that are from Central New York where like that’s their Super Bowl playing a game at the Dome whereas Syracuse is like still getting you know getting into the mix these are supposed to be easier games like they’re obviously going to get the best effort from a Colgate or a Le Mo at the Dome like that that’s just how it is it’s been going on for years colgate’s won that game a couple of times in recent years so last night was more of the effort that I expected from Syracuse now is it possible that they they get out of sorts and and ended up getting blown out in this game I guess like you saw it in the first half a little bit but I was really impressed with what I saw out of Syracuse in the second half so I make this where are we at on this line right now is this like 11 and a half I think uh it was huge 11 and a half I think is what we were uh is what we were seeing so I always I always give Syracuse like a point for home court at barlay CER they they they it’s going to be mo it’s that they have a ton of alum in and around the city there will be a ton of people from Syracuse I know a bunch that went yesterday they’ll probably stay for this game um we you know it was always a running joke Madison Square Garden back in the day was was Carrier Dome South okay so like they’re going to have they’ll have the the the fan Edge they typically play well in New York City they played well last night they just didn’t get over the hump for the win number still feels pretty big here for me I I don’t know if I want to step in front of like you know Texas Tech really didn’t play their best game yesterday got away with it or you know got away or I’m sorry they Lo did they Lo they lost that game never mind that’s right this is a losers bracket game Sorry I mean this is what happens when there’s a trillion games and they’re all going on and the same teams are playing the next day long story short I still think this is probably too many points I still think Syracuse competes I don’t know if they win but like I I could see them losing by eight nine 10 11 and a half I think Syracuse is the right side it’s a big number man that’s just an absolute big number but now you got St Joe’s congratulations I mean St Joe’s uh gets to move on right and now so their prize if I’m not mistaken is Texas that they’ll have to take uh take on in that game uh tonight so we kind of have some of these brackets here now in some of these ways and St Joe’s by the way getting seven and a half against Texas that game is at 9:00 here tonight at the barlay center uh and I still think that’s going to be a very interesting game because those guards like we said yesterday can absolutely playy Jo with can can I throw something out there that I I should have said brought this up yesterday and I I definitely think it matters the A10 plays their conference tournament at barklay Center and right I I’ve know St Joe’s has always played really good there I want to say last year they ended up in the final or or they were really maybe they ended up in the the semi of the A10 tournament those guards tend to play extremely well there there was a game uh where Eric Reynolds last year in the in the A10 tournament just went off and obviously the guards played well there yesterday that’s my only angle in that game but because I told you yesterday St Joe’s all guard play if those guys if if Reynolds and to Brown like if those guys are playing they’re going to hang in games but they’ve had some really good efforts at Barclays o over the LA like last couple years they obviously know it well being as they play sometimes four or five games and in a row there during their conference tournament so think you have to bump St those are extreme outliers I look for it to come back down to earth especially on their home court tonight keep in mind they’ve played three straight road games their only true home game this year was against Lakeland a non-lined game so this is their first point spread game at home look for that shooting to be a lot better tonight Milwaukee minus the five goes at 8:00 Eastern on Friday I love it going to talk The game everyone wants to hear about of course Colgate and Harvard playing at uh in Massachusetts in Cambridge it’s a true home game for Harvard uh for me the two players I’m looking for are Austin Hunt and um Lewis Le lesmond lesmond who lesmond was the best player last year for Harvard he or he’s the best player that they returning sorry is their their leading returning scorer has not played yet this year uh when I got to see Harvard Play Down in Annapolis last a couple weeks ago he was still in a walking boot believe it was an ankle injury from prior to the season uh but but also that was from prior to the season he hasn’t played yet this year I I do think we’ll see him back somewhat soon I just don’t know when I know the market has played Harvard the last couple times out like he might be back and he hasn’t been so I’m just trying to sort of read between the lines and see if that will be today because Harvard took money against nor Eastern last week he didn’t play they got killed Harvard took money on Sunday at Colorado he didn’t play they got killed the other guy I’m waiting for come to come back is Austin Hunt he’s a freshman that I think got a little bit overlooked at the beginning of the season because anyone that sort of follows the ivy will know the name Robert Hinton at this point he he’s one of the top freshman that’s in the the entire league right now uh the entire ivy league and and he’s a stud but a you know I know some people close to the program were very high on Hunt I I was told that he was going to be a big part of what Harvard wanted to do this year uh the game I went to down at Navy he was he came off the bench was was well on his way to playing starters minutes and then he he limped off with a hamstring injury we haven’t seen him since so those are the two guys you might need to watch the broadcast here Joe and see if there if either is in the starting lineup but I would 1,00% play Harvard if lesmond or hunt are back and the reason I think Harvard could win anyway Joe Colgate just doesn’t have talent this year this school is 25 minutes from my house I I follow Colgate closely and they have been they they’ve been a dynasty in The Patriot league for what’s going on like six years now win the league every year get to the NCA tournament every year the problem is they just don’t have teams like those teams from the last few years Braden Smith who was their best player leaves transfers to Gonzaga to red shirt and sit out a year so he can play for Gonzaga next year huge loss they also lose someone to nor Eastern another upper classman there’s just no on this Colgate team this year but they continue to get priced like the team that’s won the Patriot League the last six years so they’re going to be a good team to fade if I had the right guys in for Harvard I the Thousand per do it since I can’t confirm it yet it’s not on my client card yet but Harvard at home plus a plus a what is it plus one and a half I feel like the wrong team’s favorite regardless and if Harvard got healthy I’d be on them without a doubt in this spot all right looking at Harvard there all right Marl one other uh game here that popped up and this is right up your alley cuz that we talk about this every show if you look at Temple taking on Florida State tonight and by the way if you didn’t know Jamal murn Jr there former uh New Mexico uh stud there if I’m correct trig uh transferred out went to Temple to play in Philly taking on Leonard Hamilton and Florida State um I’m showing Merill that Temple is hitting nearly 42% of their thre this here while Florida State can’t hit water if they fell out of a boat in the three-point range something is going to give so what do you do when you’ve got these two teams here where one is clearly uh shooting way over their uh their grade I mean 41 42% from three-point range they’re top 20 in the country and the seals are hitting just 20% something’s going to give here right is this where we start looking at the regression monster in one of these games like this yeah something I’ll point out though the difference between this game and the free play I used is that Portland States the road team and milwauke playing their first real home game and they’re the team that’s due to come back right here it’s the opposite although this game’s actually a neutral court it’s Mohan Sun so it’s in Connecticut so it’s a road game for both teams but Florida State’s shooting really poorly this year in a in a weird unusual Arena like moan sun I don’t know if I trust that to all of a sudden get better whereas Temple probably does cool off a little like you said shooting 42% this season overall uh so maybe an under you know if that’s the case if you know Florida State doesn’t heat up and Temple cools off maybe the under 148 and a half but in general I’d like to see that home team that’s struggling the road team that’s really hot because I think that’s where we start to see a reversion to the mean the pit right Tri you were out there in New Mexico um I’m just trying to figure out why did he leave New Mexico to go to Temple is interesting it’s an interesting transfer sure is I I’ll say about Mohan Sun that’s a that that’s more of like a your it’s not in a ballroom like in in Bahamas like that’s where the Connecticut Sun play it’s kind of like a mini NB it’s not an NBA arena but it’s like a mini Arena I’ve been there a couple times it’s a it’s a it’s a good venue for basketball I I don’t know what you you make of that um but yeah I mean I don’t have a I think Florida State’s awful this year like I did my ACC preview though there’s there’s three teams in the ACC that are just absolutely pathetic basketball teams in my opinion it’s Boston College Florida State and I wouldn’t be surprised if NC State joins them at some point um we tal Steve mentioned Steve mentioned William like and NC State’s bad this year I think those are going to be teams and Virginia Tech sorry that was the other one Virginia Tech Florida State and uh Boston College are atrocious and NC State’s going to probably do their best to join them but I I could only go against Florida State right now I just think they’re a bad basketball team yeah well Temple is going to be a oneman show if they can stop Mashburn they got a good chance of winning this game but who knows uh better teams have tried and they have not been able to so there you got it guys plenty of college basketball on tap here uh today and for those of you that asked let me just go ahead and uh and tell you I am torn here and trig knows this uh because I’m on one side trig I’m ecstatic that Oklahoma state is beating the living snot out of Miami right now but on the other hand I’m holding a goddamn Miami ticket in my pocket with you and they’re annoying the living piss out of me here 43 to 27 at the break uh but definitely a game I would have looked to the over all day with here as Miami’s having a hard time uh scoring uh here in that tournament at the Charleston classic so uh plenty more though college basketball coming here guys uh you heard Steve say it you heard trig tell you these guys are locked and
