welcome back everyone my name is Patrick you’re watching the Oilers rundown first off my apologies for the video quality for The Fanatic rundown last night from Rogers Place trying out this new mic and didn’t have position very well I was yelling loudly because it was loud in Fort Hall and yeah you had to have the volume down very low on that one to even get through it so if you did watch that video last night thank you very much and for my next one from Roger place I’ll make sure the mic’s positioned a little better find a little bit of a quieter spot but talking about the game last night obviously hockey fights cancer night for the Edmonton Oilers really special night for me like I said last night losing my grandfather father my mother winning her battle over cancer thankfully but hockey fights cancer is a night that’s very important to me and to see the Oilers show up with that kind of performance I get my first win of the season 6 to2 over the New York Rangers just an amazing very special night and to see facil po koul and finally get that first go as an Emon Oiler you could see the relief in his face and felt so good for him casber Capman one of the newest Oilers gets his first point as an Emon Oiler assisting on one of Conor mcdavid’s two goals on the night Evan buard was 50/50 for the game he ends up coming in scores a big goal and Darnell nurse a short short-handed goal coming back into the lineup last night loved his little motions after knocking his head there all is good up there concussion cured for Darnell nurse and he got a beautiful goal there all coming together for a big six to2 victory over the New York Rangers the perfect way for the Oilers to close it out here as they head into a five-day break beginning today the Oilers did make a move following the game last night they have loaned forward Drake Kula and defenseman Josh Brown back to the Condors I imagine Zack Heyman Victor arson should be good to go for next Friday’s game against Utah so Dr koua shouldn’t be needed any further here for the Edmonton Oilers unless either of those guys has a setback and with Darnell nurse returning to the lineup there really wasn’t space for Josh Brown either I did have a video yesterday too talking about the Oilers targeting David Ur with the Columbus Blue Jackets there was an update on David E on Saturday headlines with Elliot Freeman he stated that there are reports out there that the o ERS are interested in David Urich however he says he doesn’t see a match between the Oilers and Blue Jackets as the Columbus Blue Jackets are looking for a young player similar to David Urich in return so for the Oilers I guess that would be Matthew seavoy Sam O’Reilly something like that we don’t really have a equivalent defenseman right now I mean Boi possibly but he’s been battling injuries here since he got drafted so Elliot Freeman probably correct there that it might not be a match between the Oilers and Blue Jackets I reported the Oilers and Nashville Predators were the two leading candidates to get David Ur and the Nashville Predators just have a much bigger Prospect pool and draft pool to use in a trade with the blue jacket so David EK would be a great pickup I think a potential Philip broberg replacement but the Oilers just may not have the correct pieces to get the deal done with the Columbus Blue Jackets here but let’s see if a deal does get consummated with another team or if maybe the Oilers can find a way to get something going with Columbus in a different way I mentioned in my video yesterday maybe the Oilers could try and put together a package deal for both Ivan prover off and David Ur and maybe a bigger deal could be worked out that way that entices both teams but we’ll have to wait and see I think with the Oilers going out with a six to2 Victory here going into the break there might not be the urgency for the Oilers to make any moves over this 5 day break we kind of rumored whether the Oilers would be doing any changes so I imagine the Oilers probably just stand Pat I mean it is just one game so you can’t judge too much off of it but it is a big step in the right direction here for the Oilers they’re now 11 n and two on the season so like I said it could be a quiet time here over the next five days for the Evington Oilers or possibly GM Stan Bowman gets to work on making some changes but let’s see what happens for now the Oilers happy with a big six to2 victory over the New York Rangers last night and the team starting to come together Stuart Skinner I think had a great game last night Conor McDavid being Conor McDavid a couple big goals first goal for facil po koulen Darnell nurse comes back into the lineup gets a big short-handed goal so a lot of positive signs in last
