Miami’s defense only allowed 50 yards in the second half and got plenty of help from the offense. Cam Ward passed for 280 yards and was responsible for 3 scores for UM, both of his touchdown passes went to receiver Jacolby George (7 Rec, 91 YDS). Elijah Arroyo amassed 79 yards on 6 catches and running back Jordan Lyle rushed for 115 yards on 7 catches. Wake’s Hank Bachmeier passed for a score and running back Demond Claiborne made his presence felt with a 100-yard kickoff return for a score.
