in charge of the club for the first time he is taking charge of his first match and his first starting 11 has been released now I done something in the Discord server this morning I asked you guys for some Rogue predictions not even the most Rogue of predictions could have come up with this starting 11 so we’ve got Andre o in goal a back three of Johnny Evans Deli and mazra perhaps we’ll figure out actually how that lines up what order they’re in we then got Ericson and casemiro in the Midfield dallow and ammad at Wing back garnacho and Bruno Fernandez behind Marcus rashford if any of you guys if any of you guys called this called this starting 11 give yourself on the P give yourself a pat on the back because that would be very very impressive if you called it what are your guys thoughts on this I’m seeing crazy lineup but excited though that’s kind of how I’m feeling ammad isn’t physical enough for Wing back perhaps in the typical system but I think Ruben am’s Wing backs are quite different we discussed this in a video a couple of weeks back get in the chat guys let me know how you’re feeling about this team news what do you make of it what your thought in general let me right let’s get into this let’s break this down playing Erikson and Casmir together is going to be the slowest Midfield I think the aim for Ruben Aran will be to try and dominate the ball in this game and I think casemiro and Erikson have some traits that will allow Manchester United to do that now I should confirm I haven’t actually got the IP switch team news just yet I’m just looking through it now and I think no I can’t see it yet we’ll see never mind we’ll change it as it comes out no konki on the bench is unfortunate just in the squad yeah it’s a shame for him would have been cool to see him didn’t expect an Erikson thought ugat would start me too I think the the reasoning behind that though is fairly self-explanatory Ugarte came back really late from International Duty I think Leandro Martinez injury changed that yeah I mean if you think about it there’s all this talk over the past how long month or so Manchester United this new formation the 343 we want to play three center backs we actually get to the first game and we only have two center backs fit delit and Johnny Evans are the only ones that are actually fit and ready to play so it does make life a little bit more difficult it was always therefore going to be someone like doow or mrai who had to come into the team if yoro isn’t ready so I’m not too surprised we got Burns in the team instead of Johnson is it do we know what number Burns is any idea what number Burns is he is certainly certainly much more of a Winger though you know what he can have the number 17 enjoy I hope the lit is the one wide yeah see I done my uh prediction the other day in a video and I had Johnny Evans on the left hand side and got absolutely ridiculed for it now the reason I put him there was for his Superior ball playing ability in my opinion I actually think he he’s better on the ball what theck is for example I think his ball progression is a little bit better and I actually think he’s better with his left foot than what thect is so this is why I went for him in this position Burns is seven oh so close that’s why I went for him in this position I also though completely get the argument of swapping them around the the the rumor is Johnny Evans on the left side which you know you might be a little bit worried about but the fact that we’ve got D in front of him naturally a fullback should hopefully sort of balance things out a little bit we hope Mark with the 12 month membership mark thank you very much one year oh my God look at the badge mate it looks beautiful guys you know what to do love hearts in the chat and also for Jose as well that can turn into a 4-33 very easily if you push up ammad and bring doow back that is something I want to touch on guys again you know what to do lots of love hearts in the chat yeah this is something I want to talk about so much talk about formations and systems and things like that ultimately it’s the positions that players take up on the pitch because if Eric tenh har had released this team news this starting 11 we would say Dow as left back we’d go Johnny Evans delict mrai we’d go ammad Bruno garnacho like that and we’d put rashford up front right this is where it’s really interesting it’s quite easily a 4231 or a 433 like you said is it’s why formations are so weird it is more about the the positions that players pick up which is why I’ve done so many videos on amarim system because it’s not just about the formation it’s too easy to say that it’s where these players move that’s crucial absolutely crucial I think it will be largely back three you know mazwi will play in this position I would expect in possession like this defensively we might see more of a switch to a 442 which we can cover towards the end of the stream if you like but yeah I think it’s just interesting how we how we talk about these formations yeah we we’ve got the same 11 and it’s two very different systems or so we think not sure it is a very adaptable tactic absolutely I think this is something that Bruno Fernandez pointed out as well and it’s something that I’ve said a lot Manchester United all season long or certainly most of the season have switched to a back three in possession we have very often seen one of the fullbacks it will sometimes be Maz RI we’ve seen Leandra Martinez playing playing left back and moving into a back three this isn’t anything new Bruno Fernandez said it in his uh interview on Sky Sports as well he said you know this whole idea of playing in a back three is something new for us but also it’s not because on the ball we always switch to this so it’s not that big a change I think McKenna for ipswitch also hinted at something similar he said yeah on paper it’s just 3 43 but if you actually look through the Premier League a lot of teams play in a shape that looks like a 32 41 so it’s just an interesting point on formations and things like that are we there yet we’re close we’re close AJ are we going to lose I don’t think so having seen this 11 I am quite confident not playing ammad as the number 10 is not good enough I’m sorry I guess we’ll see how it plays out I want to look at some of the reasoning for this in a minute something we should point out though is that just because this is the leak I guess there’s a it’s not guaranteed for example we it could actually be doow right wing back garnacho left wing back Bruno and ammad in the 10 that is also possible I don’t think it will be the case because I’m kind of expecting the leak to be right because they tend to be weirdly but this is also possible and perhaps even something that we could change to in the game amarim is is not a manager that tends to keep things the same for 90 minutes anyway quick talk on ammad can ammad play on his side of the the pitch can he be a wing back Wing back I think he can I absolutely think he can play this position it was one of the first things I said when Amarin was appointed as manager we saw a young man giovan quenda playing as a right wing back for Sporting Lisbon yet he’s a very small Winger he’s a is a small player he’s diminutive he’s quite a bit like hammad but it really but it really worked for him and this is one of the reasons why I think we might have gone for it in this game hang on let me quickly go find it yeah sorry I’m I’m saying in terms of the leak I’m talking about the position rather than the 11 Manchester United obviously haven’t announced literally how the 11 will line up let me quickly find the clip that I want to talk about we spoke about this a couple of times but it’s the importance of playing a left footer on the right hand side so let me just quickly find this clip for you guys I refer to this as a weak– footed Wing back weak footed Wing back this is against Manchester City for sporting the other day the other week I should say you’ve got quenda playing on the right hand side this is a left footed player now what teams want to do when they press you is force you over to one side of the pitch like so they want to try and force you into these positions you can see Manchester City doing this here they’re trying to force sporting to play down this side of the pitch they really they’ve really caged him in pushed him into this area and they want sporting to play on this side but when you play with a left footer on the right it opens up potential to actually come back inside a little bit come back into these areas this is why Amad could make a lot of sense it’s also why someone like uh Anthony could make a lot of sense as well in this sort of position because of the ability to come back in yeah again on the usage of the term leak the the lineup is out we don’t actually know where players are going to play necessarily the rumor is garnacho is an inside forward but he could be a wing back for all we know anyway this is one advantage of doing this and we actually spoke about this the other day some of the weaknesses in the IP switch system which I want to go and find real quick because this is a pattern that I think United can use in this game to cause some problems IP switch aren’t a team that are going to sit off and park the bus all day they like to try and take their chances where they can press a little bit higher up the pitch try and engage you on the ball and force you into turnovers but this can actually come at their own downfall you can see in a situation like this brenford moved the ball down the right hand side and they have a left footed player playing wide on the right and that means that the ball can be moved inside you can imagine ammad playing this sort of position today he’s very very capable of doing this moving the ball inside and ipswitch get horribly caught out for it they’re able to move the ball forward quickly pounce into this attacking situation and nips switch look all over the place really good attacking play ammad can definitely do that if you imagine this is then perhaps Bruno Fernandez this player on the ball here you can see that kind of being effective for United I think it can also be effective in the final third as well though amads left foot is something that United could look to use if we quickly move back over here let’s say Bruno fernande uh let’s say am’s got the ball actually let’s say ammad picks up the ball in this situation now we know that the front five are going to Interchange they’re going to work for each other other they’re going to play in Pro close proximity move off each other and try and make things happen there will be situations where ammad can get the ball and come inside a little bit and perhaps Bruno Fernandez will overlap we know that ammad likes to do that and we know that Bruno likes to make runs off the ball this opens up potential for sort of what this an in swinging cross towards the back post with the left foot and particularly if you can crowd this area you know rashford playing as your Striker got actal attacking the back post but also the fars side Wing back will get into these situations as well this is something that ipswitch have really really struggled with this season you can see it here cutting in with the ball like this numbers at the back post like so and when you cross the ball into this area ipswitch have really really struggled really struggled with crosses into these situations this one actually bounces all the way through into the goal you guys that have been here the past few days will have seen these clips before again situation like this player playing on the right hand side wants to cut in onto his left foot Ahmad could do this Ahmad could provide this sort of delivery for United in this game and once again going into these areas lots of players at the back post allows you to win the first but also the second ball and score goals score goals this is something thats which have struggled with all season it’s why Ahmad for me had to play I probably would have preferred a sort of inside forward position I think it would have suited him a little bit more but I think ammad playing Wing back can still get into these areas still cause these problems put these crosses into the box and genuinely genuinely hurt IP switch and I think that would be some of the reason for his inclusion at Wing back I also think just generally speaking he had to play quickly look through the Manchester United starting 11 and tell me how many left footed players you can actually see there’s not many right it’s why again I felt someone like ammad had to really play in this game what will we actually do if we come out and don’t line up in 343 um I might delete my channel no I probably won’t by the way guys while you are here if you could leave a like on the we’ve got bind malasia and Shaw massia and Shaw both on the bench I never thought we would see the day that that happened Shaw and massia both on the bench Shaw I would suggest is almost like a center back option I would imagine we’ve then got kobby Manu we’ve got ugat we’ve got Mason mount in there as well we’ve also got Anthony is on the bench we’ve got holand and we’ve got xery there’s a lot of Firepower there a lot of Firepower there in terms of options to impact the game there’s some choices is that the confirmed lineup it’s the confirmed starting 11 it’s not necessarily confirmed how we will actually set up the the rumor is the the rumor is doow left wing back ammad right wing back but there’s a chance it isn’t that it could be ammad inside forward so we know the lineup we don’t know the exact kind of positioning of how they’re going to set up is what I’m trying to say hopefully I’ve kind of got that right sofa score has us in a 4231 and it looks very believable yeah this team can easily change to a 4231 it can change to a 433 if you think about Manchester United off the ball this could easily be a 442 something that we know that am likes to do when the opposition have the ball mrai could play more as a right back kind of stepping out you could drop doow deeper into left back garnacho into a flat four and then play like this out of possession this is something which he is very doable for Manchester United and I don’t hate it it gets rashford in a position where defensively he doesn’t have to do as much tracking which I think really really suits him playing this sort of role rather than out wide I think it makes it a bit easier for him garnacho and ammad they are intense players who will do a lot of work I think it works with our back four little bit worried about the the two in the middle little bit worried about those two and and in terms of their mobility and things like that but the really important thing to pick up on here is this isn’t Eric tenh hard’s system and I don’t mean to be critical or blunt with Eric in that sense but I just think we have this kind of image in our heads now that to play for Manchester United you have to be unbelievably quick because previously we were leaving such big gaps right we were leaving huge gaps between the lines so players did have to be fairly quick to cover those gaps these days that doesn’t feel like it’s the case so much because Ruben amim I would expect will use a more condensed system I think players will be closer to each other I don’t think we are going to engage overly High you know I don’t think we’re going to be super aggressive high up the pitch but I also don’t think we’ll drop off into a low block so that means we’ll have a a fairly high back line but a fairly low front line now at times that might invite a ball in behind our defense but in terms of the midfielders it should in theory give them a little bit less work to do it should give the midfielders less ground cover because there’s more players nearby so that for me is absolutely a positive is the lineup confirmed it is it is but we don’t know the positioning just yet dumb lineup who would you have picked I would be interested to know who would you pick because obviously we’ve only got two FIT center backs so that doesn’t help us we’ve got someone like ugat who returned very late kobby Mayu coming back from injury still I’d be interested to hear what you would pick that lineup is scary and not in a good sense I think we’ll be okay guys I think we I genuinely think we will be all right in this system and with this lineup I think we got plenty in this game I think you know the back three there’s there’s ball playing ability with mrai and and Johnny Evans in particular I would imagine delit gets a sort of simplified role Ericson and casemiro I think in a in a team where you’re playing really endtoend fast football I think you got a problem but one of the things that amam has said during the week is one of the big big problems at United is on the ball that we lose it too quick if there’s a slower approach a more methodical approach including in the Midfield again they will have to do less running so they’re absolutely fine in terms of this is a game that we should dominate IPS wi have the second least possession in the Premier League this season so there will be spells where we are controlling the ball Erikson in particular is a lovely player to have in that sort of position he’s a lovely player in in a game where you’re going to dominate control dictate and trying to break a team down Erikson is so ideal he he is so good for that sort of game and then in the attack we’ve got ammad playing as a wing back that’s attacking that’s a very attacking choice I love to see that Bruno Fernandez playing as an inside forward gets him close to goal I like that Marcus rashford close to goal really important Marcus rashford has spent a lot of the last season and a half playing as like a a touchline Winger which doesn’t suit him we’ve got him close to goal today that’s good news garnacho perhaps not made the best decisions in recent weeks perhaps but again he’s our top goal scorer this season so he will give us a sort of a goal threat in the final third he always gets into positions Manchester United have all the tools here to win this game I think amarim has picked a strong 11 is it the 11 that I would have gone for no in an Ideal World ugat and kobby Manu would have been my double pivot but again Mayu is just back from injury ugat got back to the squad late you can see why he’s picked this you can see why he’s picked it I think it makes a lot of sense I think people are overreacting in terms of the people saying the formation has been released do you really think it’s official do you think amam will come out and go by the way at switch my players are lining up in these positions seems unlikely people saying it’s a 4231 it definitely could be it definitely could shape up into that and I think in moments it will but largely it’ll be a 343 with players kind of rotating from there the lack of a first touch in those front three attackers is horrendous um I think I disagree I really think I disagree you entitled to the opinion of course but I think I disagree according to the Manchester United app the formation is Onana Deli left Center back Evans Central Center back Dow Right Center back Mai Wing back ammad right wing back again I don’t mean this to come across in the wrong way I don’t even know that the official Manchester United app is something that we can completely believe I I just genuinely don’t think it is something that we can take as gospel because I don’t think part of amorim’s process starting the game you know his first game at Manchester United I don’t think the first thing he would consider is but did they app no it might it might be absolutely right it might be but I don’t think we should take it as an absolute guarantee I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mai and andallo swapped over because I think mazwi probably is the better attacking player of the two and D perhaps brings you more physicality at the back so I I certainly see the reasoning behind that but I think what we have to take with all of this is surely it’s a positive if we can’t figure out quite what way around this 11 is how it IP switch meant to guess that’s got to be good news for us in terms of for McKenna at ipswitch trying to predict how Manchester United are going to set up you know you’re tan Zab are you playing against mrai or D you don’t know and they’re very different players to play against in terms of if your your burns on the ball you in delict or Johnny Evans you don’t know before the game I think that’s really good news I think it’s really good they used to release the lineup to where you could read it as back to front right to left and it would just have to figure out the formation from there but I think they mix it up now yeah I think it’s really really quite jumbled these days to be honest with how you see it I think Cameron will play 343 me too me too the important thing to remember we have the 343 as I’ve said a few times already is always changes it always changes no team plays a set formation from 0o to 90 no team in the world does that because just not how football works right this is a match of 90 minutes where there’s tens of thousands of Split Second decisions so many Split Second decisions to assume the whole team is going to play one shape the whole game is is crazy because there’s so many decisions that players have to make your thoughts on City losing 4-nil at home um quite hilarious to be honest I love it there’s no balance in that attack at all yeah I am a little bit worried about the nature of the front three I think Amad trying to get forward into positions and Mai as well may bring a bit of balance for us we know that those two are quite good retention players I I would label that front three as a little bit direct a little bit chaotic at times but like I said hopefully mrai being forward ammad being forward Erikson being forward hopefully they can back B right if we put this into a 42 31 real quick and you release that team you would say you’ve got a nice balance there you’ve got directness you’ve got directness you’ve got creativity you’ve got creativity you’ve got ball retention I think people would say it’s a good balance so I think this is good I think it’s a good balance we’ve got here really good personally rashford scores two today 5 nil result yes please yes please yes please one Creator two Runners is is pretty standard yeah exactly uh anybody got any clue why kuki traveled with the team but isn’t on the bench well for a young player it’s great to travel with the squad in the first place it’s great to get used to that experience traveling to these big games in terms of not not being selected not being in the squad as such I can’t say I’m massively surprised I think he’s played one game for the under 21s and that was as a substitute he’s 16 years old playing away in the Premier League it’s not an easy an easy game to go right it’s not an easy game to go play so I’m not particularly surprised I thought he had a chance to be on the bench due to our our lack of options right we’ve got no center backs but again he’s 16 years old I don’t think it’s a massive shock for him not to play ugar and Mayu should be in the starting 11s as the 28s yeah and I think they will be in the future I absolutely think they will be in the future I think right now we lack options again we lack options kobby Mayu has been injured we haven’t seen him for seven weeks I thought he would play but again I can’t say it’s suddenly a massive shock and again ugat he got back very very late in midweek I thought he would play but I’m not surprised that he’s not it’s absolutely fine not going to lie I’m going into this fully confident no matter what form or position these players are in it’s a fresh start exactly I don’t get the negativity today I don’t get the negativity I think we’ve got quite a strong 11 there which can parts of it can control a football match and I also think we’ve got some amazing Subs some amazing Subs Poland and xery From the Bench are really nice options they can get you a goal M Mount energy kobby Mayu to come on and dictate a game ugat his defensive work late in the game could be huge could be huge as IP switch’s intensity starts to drop and they fatigue bringing on ugat and M to run could be huge so I think Manchester United are absolutely okay I’m I’m really fine with this team I’m okay with it I don’t get the negativity at all completely agree that a very good 11 again we’ve got a lot of injuries right we’ve got a lot of injuries ipswitch are a team that we should feel that we can go beat if you don’t think we can go beat IP switch the standards are falling far too low at this football club far too low at this football club we’ve got a strong 11 out there we’ve got a blend of goal scorers we’ve got some creators we’ve got some ball retention players we’ve got some techical ability at the back but also some physicality and experience it’s quite a good 11 it genuinely quite a good 11 Erikson starting is surprising though yeah again I just think we just look at the options right ugar back late kobby menu is he fit if they can’t play then we’re left with Mount or Bruno we don’t have a ton of options I think Mount could play this role for certain games and I think the same for Bruno as well not sure I think a lot of this 11 is ated by injury but also who’s been available in training all week I think that plays a big part a huge part yeah Erikson is also on the ball a really nice player for this game I think imagine Gonzalez as Bruno and TR cow’s gacho very similar like sporting yeah it’s kind of flipped to the other side but it’s a very very similar principle I think this is a good 11 is nothing the Midfield a little bit of a surprise but apart from that I can’t say I’m like knocked off my seat shocked by this team that was Jose by the way with that comment and also the 5 donation what an absolute Legend Jose thank you very much guys you know what to do hearts or just anything green really in the chat down below and also I haven’t seen enough amarim emojis in the chat I think we like to see a little bit more of that I’d like to see Bruno there at some point yeah I think he might get a chance in that sort of position I think he I think he could do a job there perhaps a bit direct at times I think Erikson controls the tempo a little bit better but yeah I’d like to see it would you have at least to put your on the bench my view on yoro is if he was fit enough to be on the bench he would be on the bench is just kind of how I’m reading it the fact that he’s not I’m guessing he’s not fit enough if you see what I’m saying I think if he was fit he would be there that’s my opinion thank you very much again Jose very kind of you sir Evans is old and mrai dallow is better at playing a bit wider in defense or Midfield that’s why the starting 11 is getting uh criticized set against Evans is old and mrai doow is better at playing a bit wider in defense see I think actually on that front I think that’s why a fullback suits this position a lot of center backs let’s take Johnny Evans for example just because you used it let’s say Johnny Evans was playing in this position a center back you you’d really be worried when he’s isolated in the channels right when players get into these positions you’d look at that and you you’d be a little bit worried about his wide defending I think we’ve got the same problem with other backs at the club when you actually put more traditionally a fullback in that position fullbacks are used to defending these situations so I I actually think it makes a lot of sense to do this I think it really suits the player where is Leandro Martinez out injured I do believe plenty of amim emojis now it’s beautiful it’s beautiful guys don’t forget if you could leave a like on the stream it would be amazing genuinely it would be I would appreciate it so so much I think this is the most people we have ever had in a live stream but we are nowhere near our like record nowhere near it so if we could kind of run those likes up it would be amazing also also I’m confident I can’t guarantee it but I’m confident I will be the first channel to analyze this game not react to the game or give my postmatch did say it I think one of the reasons rashford will play up front is because first of all holand didn’t have much training time with amarim whereas we know that Marcus rashford has had the full week and in terms of the profile of a striker we know that amarim likes that player who can play on a shoulder of a Defender can get in behind the opposition off of these runs going this way is he perfect at the the holdup side of the game now I don’t think he is but perhaps we don’t have the perfect tools right now in terms of going the other way getting him behind is what amim likes it is what AM likes have I ever thought rashford is truly a striker no I think he’s an inside forward and again perhaps in the long term he’ll move into that position when Rasmus has trained a little bit more perhaps we’ll see something like this we we don’t know we don’t know we have to remember please guys please please please remember this when Ruben AR picked a starting 11 he didn’t look at the Manchester United Squad right he didn’t look at all what was it 26 players who got something like that and go hm which of those 11 are the perfect 11 to be ipswitch that was not his sole thought process he had to think about which players have played a lot of football recently which ones had difficult kind of travel schedules with the international break who’s got KNX who needs to play some minutes who needs AR rest who’s been training all week all things like that all of this would have come into consideration not just was your best 11 so think about that when trying to gauge this 11 please think about that rashford scores more goals than the others yeah I think he is a goal scorer in this squad guys can we not just Spam the chat with random UNF football related stuff please and track back exactly it’s a position that suits him a lot more defensively and like you said training is Big right if you’re playing a completely new system would you pick the players that have trained five days less say or the player that’s come in and trained one or two days it’s not a particularly difficult one for me it’s one of the reasons I’m a little bit surprised about garnacho playing to be honest I’m a little bit surprised about garnacho being in this team reason he started at strike it is because he has a clause in his contract that he has to start games I tell you what I would love a contract like that Unfortunately they don’t exist in football but it would be lovely to have one wouldn’t it surprised ammad was not one of the number 10s yeah when the team news started getting leaked we we saw this run three and I’ll be honest I was a little bit disappointed at not seeing Ahmad and then we saw Ahmad playing at Wing back so I’m happy to have him in the team I think in the long term he’s probably more suited to this position but again perhaps with a lack of options you know we had to drop one of our fullbacks or Wing backs into Center back because of Leandro Martinez being out so it makes sense to bring a Winger into this position I I can see why it’s happened AJ do you have a replacement in mind for when Ericson leaves in the summer not right now I’ll be honest I think we will need one I think we will need like a midfielder that can kind of bring a more pass oriented side to the game soone wants to get on the ball complete a lot of passes do I know exactly right now who I would say that player is not really to be honest but we’ll focus on that a bit more in the second half of the Season once we’ve seen what AR is doing with this squad how he wants to use his midfielders how it all Blends together we will probably probably get a better understanding at that point that was good because if amarim had put rashford as Wing back he wouldn’t track back at all and we would lose the ball first yeah this is a position that suits rashford a lot defensively I think it simplifies his game a little bit I think he can play in these positions where on the ball he’s close to goal lovely but off the ball he he’s not going to be sprinting 30 yards he’s not going to be sprinting 30 yards back towards his own goal constantly I went to I don’t know how many of you guys actually go to matches I’ll be honest I don’t actually go to a ton of live games but I went to the England game last weekend and it’s not until you really sit there and you you watch a team try and press high up the pitch and fail the press and suddenly you’ve got to see a Winger sprinting Back 40 yards it’s not until you really watch it live in the flesh that you realize just how much ground that is they have to cover getting someone like rashford who isn’t the most uh hardworking intense defensive player putting him Central reducing those Sprints makes a lot of sense I don’t when you watch on tell I really don’t think it does Justice to just how big a football pitch is these players look really close to each other at times and I tell you when you go and watch it the
