in the semifinals late night the last game on the floor in Maui a game that uh matches Auburn and North Carolina we expect it’ll get underway somewhere around 11 but depending on how long the Duke Kansas game goes this one could get pushed back TV TV loves to dictate that ESPN loves to dictate that so late night tonight on Maui after the Auburn last second win what a great comeback for them against Iowa State and likewise the same thing for North Carolina who was down what was it officially 19 second half 20 in the second half and North Carolina came back to win again if a lot of you are just joining us you didn’t stay up late see how all of that went I was impressed with Dayton once they fell behind that they battled back hit a couple of shots took the lead great back and forth ending and eventually North Carolina held them off all right let’s begin the discussion big man thoughts on this matchup here we go again this one’s got like Elite 8 final four type material to it does it not Auburn and North Carolina on the neutral floor Jeff yeah I’m gonna I don’t I haven’t done really any ads this year you know I I got to get back up to even and then and and try to help what we’re doing here I’m going to add a play here I’m going to take Auburn in this game um look I I think it’s too low I would put this a little higher I think Auburn is absolutely the best best team in the country they’re a lead on both ends and and one thing over the years they’ve been very good with under Bruce Pearl is limiting you getting out in transition which which is obviously if you watch Carolina what they want to do um there there’s a reason Carolina was down 21 at one point there’s a reason Carolina has struggled at times this year against teams like Elon um they also got 27 out of Seth Trimble I mean I don’t that’s not likely to happen again here and I I want to shout out our friend Matt Jordan M who made a great comment here best Hubert Davis in no prep situations one and seven in his career at North Carolina not good in this realm they just put so much into winning that game last night and and I think to me alurn look so today but I just think they’re more complete uh broom is terrific I’m not sure that Dayton has that type of player there’s no Don Holmes on Dayton anymore Jaylen Washington I think is going to have a lot of trouble with uh Mr broom I think Auburn wins by double digits I’m gonna lay it here again this was a great comeback just to get into this matchup Auburn was down 16 at the half 4933 came roaring back Jeff is undaunted he’s going to live play Auburn Matt give us something on the total here as well because the North Carolina Dayton game obviously soared over the number total here 165 165 and a half on the BET us line thought on that yeah it’s a good number on BET us there’s a lot of 166s out there if you watch yesterday and you watched the market before the Maui or I guess as the Maui progress there is more and more over money that came in all day I think people watch those rims look like you know uh little tight Nerf rims and and and people just started like yeah okay we’re going to bet this and then also you saw these games play like you know a pinball machine up and down the floor so all four of these games got bet over today not as much on the first one with Connecticut Colorado and Dayton Iowa State but Memphis Michigan State got bet over three points and then this game got bet up two and a half points I’m with Jeff on the side I think it’s it’s a better matchup for Auburn um and I’m inclined to to take the over again just based on how fast these two teams played yesterday uh but I know the back-to-back angle you to worry that a lot of the value is probably knocked out again they were shaded up on the open to 164 they were B into to 166 so you’re really kind of grasping for the uh you’re sort of the last guy of the party here in terms of value me over see 166 right now on BET us live as we do the show live here we’re a half hour in and it may move while the show is going on uh anything on the first half of this game from either of you might you look at the first half especially when they both played a game yesterday there is an argument they’re playing at night they’re playing at night they had they both had Wild games last night might there be less scoring less Effectiveness in the second from two I mean we’re not talking enough about the machine that they have been um and now you get North Carolina so I again I I think this is Get Right game if there is one um so bet at your own risk and Auburn 18 of hang on Matt Auburn 18 of 22 at the foul line Jeff Nao in the comeback win last night that’s another thing that helps Matt go ahead I was just say if you want to wait to bet this that may not be the worst idea you Chad Baker mazara who is like I think unequivocally this team’s uh I mean Joe I broom’s their best player their MVP potential player of the year but Baker mazara every coach opposing coach talks about how much he means to this team and you saw him you he was awesome in the first half came back after that injury I think he will be probably playing today but uh there were certainly some concerns I could see if some money comes in against Au it might be some rumors that he’s not going to play just something to monitor if you want to get involved on the Auburn side it may actually be better to wait maybe a four or a three shows later closer to tip and you got all day to wait as you listen to this quote from him after the game my mom raised a warrior if I’m not dead I’m going out there okay he’s playing there it is Boom thank you me he said quote ha statement retracted from me just a cramp he says uh he’s funny he’s real wiry but man he’s tough as nails like I mean he’s aggravating an aggravating Defender he’s an instigator he does other things uh to to bother the other team I’m just looking at North Carolina last night didn’t shoot it uh I mean I shot 51% from the floor in the comeback made nine threes and again 27 of 34 from the foul line for Carolina Carolina Auburn the winner gets the winner of Memphis and Michigan State in the championship game
