the three points the three points are what is important so Enzo maresa showed up at his former team beat them and actually thought that we had a very dominant performance in around 7 minutes of the game and I feel had done that we could have probably come out with a clle sheet but what tactical changes did Enzo maresa make in this [Music] game this was an early early kickoff fixture Chelsea pulled up to leer scored two goals and ConEd a last minute penalty but I can say that this was a convincing performance especially factoring in that players actually came from International break and the players who exiled kaedo and Fernandez actually came from South America like a day before so in my opinion this is an understandable result now looking at this clip you can see the Tactical shift that Enzo maresa made this time he decided to use the kite Midfield the three center backs and one holding midfielder and I have to give credit to some of the players who played who actually impressed me I thought benile actually played quite well in this game his passing his uh defensive work was quite amazing Chelsea on the other hand uh uh played with as many as six players in attack and this is by Enzo Fernandez joining the attacking line and now this created a lot of problems for leer city as we saw in the first half with Chelsea constantly playing through them and that’s why Leicester city had to make some tactical changes in the second half to actually do better than Chelsea now before we even look into that do not forget to like share and subscribe a lot of people are watching but not received this ball and look to play the ball to nor mad as he attempted to make that half space run and as he made this half space run we saw Wings trying to come up and try to stop it and that’s how wings actually pulled his armst strring and he was had to be substituted with skip now this was creating a lot of problems for Leicester city because Chelsea were always finding a a free man higher up the pitch and that’s why Leicester city even went further and dropped one um Winger to play as a back five to try and mitigate this overload the white center backs are also quite instrumental as you saw for carry the ball forward whenever he had space in this clip you can see benoa has won the ball and he’s immediately looking to carry the ball forward he carries the ball forward and plays a pass to call Palma and that enables Chelsea to beat Leicester and actually create that numerical Advantage here again you can see fuana has received the ball with acres and time space carries the ball forward and actually moves to dribble past leer because he has no no no players putting pressure over him and if this player tries to cover him then Palma can pick the ball in the pocket fuana reaches to this position he has the ball and he plays the ball to non mad and now you can see the position that Palma is piing and now Palma is able to try and create that 2v one overload against Leer’s backline now because fana was looking to push forward to create this triangle this allowed non mad time on the ball however non mad was not able to capitalize on these chances and again Mad needs to from the game now ja Felix is receiving the ball in an area where he can cause harm Felix receives this ball in this position and has the opportunity to turn and look to try and link up play with the forward players because Jo Felix is able to make this tactical adjustment in the team it gave Chelsea much more needed threat down the left and this is how makella managed to find himself in a position where he crossed the ball and Jackson headed it then Enzo Fernandez headed the rebounds because of the position that ja Felix was picking up Felix was also allowed leicester’s Midfield to be passive because he made sure that majority of those midfielders were booked and and that credit goes to Enzo Marisa’s tactical change by bringing in ja Felix now during the second half when leester were behind they decided to be less passive and more aggressive towards Chelsea and in this case now we started to see Cole Palmer being the one who drops deep and look to receive the ball and play the balls over the top or in behind because Palma was not getting a lot of the ball in those deep uh deeper regions he tried to play the ball to Jackson so that he can link up with Felix especially in those attacking zones of the pitch to generate numerical threat for Chelsea you can see in this clip the position that col Palma has dropped deep ready to receive the ball now Sanchez in this position has the opportunity to play the ball directly to the feet of Moises quedo and look to have Chelsea automatically progress cedo receives the ball then he plays the ball onto col Palma and Palma in this position now can look to play the ball to Fernandez high up the pitch because of the position that K Palma is actually picking Palma is able to play the ball to jao Felix who is in between the lines and now Felix is looking to make a run you can see Jackson has drifted towards the left and now ja Felix is in the middle and is looking to carry the ball forward to give Chelsea that numerical threat he finds the ball and plays the ball to K Palma but non mad is in the position of K Palma otherwise if no player is there K Palma makes that 2- n to [Music] Chelsea now looking at this clip here again you can see the Tactical change again happening this time Levi C has the ball and jaia Felix has dropped deeper alongside quo because they used to drop momentarily to get together with Fernandez it pass onto jao Felix Now Chelsea beat leicester’s first line of pressure this enabled Chelsea to position themselves in areas where they were able to receive the ball with a lot of space with a lot of time with a lot of ability to actually har leer and put leer onto their back foot because of this overlapping run especially when fana received the ball Mark non mad was so privileged in having an opportunity to receive the ball time and time again with space and I still believe that if pedrono had this a lot of space then probably he would have even had a goal or an assist in this game now leer in the second half decided to move into a 4-33 the three man Midfield was to try and cover those spaces that Fernandez Palmer and Ja Felix were dropping into the front three one player especially Jimmy F was to sit on kaedo while the white players was to try to cover the runs of the white center backs so we said started to see K and badile looking to play long balls over the top especially for the white players in makura and Nim mad and that’s why we saw Chelsea now heavily relying upon the wide areas and that’s why uh my point of having fullbacks overlapping I say that if you have a wide Winger for example a Netto receiving the ball in this position then you know very well he’s able to take on his man but fullbacks can only cross but that’s uh the main thing we can take from this game in this kind of fixture now the defensive face now Chelsea pressed Lista aggressively high with both Jackson and Palmer leading the Press Enzo Fernandez was picking one pivot while ja Felix and non Chelsea managed to win those 10 winner b games I am hopeful that Chelsea will either find themsel first or second by January you can clearly see that after the difficult fixtures Chelsea are third and um they need to widen the gap between them and uh the fifth place all the contenders such as Aston Villa and spars and Brighton Chelsea need to maintain that momentum Chelsea now move next to play Aston Villa at home difficult fixture a team that finished in the top four last season and a game where again I do not want to I emphasize that the points are more important than the score line these are three points that Chelsea should get remember Aston Villa will be one of the teams challenging Chelsea for the top four so Chelsea taking away three points from Aston Villa further widens the Gap
