🕵️‍♂️ Transcript:

I was 16 stood on the halt about halfway up we had to actually get tickets at night to ensure we got him we could normally just rock up and pay on the gate but we weren’t taking any chances absolutely rammed outside the ground from an hour before kickoff which was unusual cold clear night under the AV lights there was a buzz in the place you didn’t usually get something I hadn’t felt since andet the year before but this was another level as we knew these lot were a class above brought a program and just read out the names like a who’s who of the football World zof genti Cabrini SCA teli beata Rossy platini bonc Jesus and we’ve got to play these I remember bataa had gray hair and looked about 50 we were European Champions but the 82 883 season was a bit in and out so we knew we had a real game on but we battered barcel in the super Cup Final a few weeks before so why not massive away f following down the other end biggest away Euro following I’d ever seen which really cranked It Up full voice black and white scarves fair play they were good I remember it being as loud as I’d ever heard it as they came out those black and white shirts man just felt we were watching something iconic it almost didn’t seem real if that makes sense I remember the pitch being shiny like glass under the lights they kicked off pass pass pass pass cross goal 30 odd seconds Rossy European footballer of the year at the time and we gave him a free header from about six yards out right in front of us Alan Evans had been sent off in the Bara game so he was suspended so I think Dez brema played center half cost us Ross’s movement was just too sharp for him I remember their players and fans going nuts and all the air going out the stadium before it cranked back up again as we tried to pick the lads up but we knew that we couldn’t give world class sides a goal all start after that we were great we went toe to- toe arguably the better side for long periods although they were dangerous if you gave them any space Sid was magnificent best player on the park dodgy forign ref the refs were shocking back then mate goals disallowed for no reason Penn turned away for a foul on Shore we didn’t get the rub Sid scored ah header after about an hour in front of the HT to equalize and I’ve never experienced a feeling like it h was literally shaking to its foundation thought my heart would come out my mouth thought we would go on to win it but palatini flicked one in to bonc near the end and he smashed one in from about 18 yards great goal to be fair toe over then as’s nobody won over there and so it proved privileged to be there and I knew it even though I was 16 we all knew what we’d seen disappointed yes but proud of matching one of the best sides in the world [Music] [Music] hello and welcome back to up the Villa this is our Champions League preview Aston Villa the Juventus it feels big and these type of games this feels really big to me as a football fan who grew up in the 90s I was sort of schooled on Italian football as a kid growing up you’d stick Channel 4 on it’ be on all day so Italian football for me there’s just something about it that I just really like and I’ve got that nostalgic value with it and the fact that it’s Juventus is absolutely massive you one of the biggest teams in European football hopefully a lot of you have watched the sort of everything you need to know about Juventus me and uh Nea from the Italian football podcast we spoke about Juventus Etc and you know there’s a lot of good information in there so you can go back and check that one out I’ll put it on the end of this one and the intro to this video was from a villa fan narrated by myself so what happened was a family member told me about Aston Villa playing Juventus I I was unaware of it really I I didn’t know too much about it at all and as I always will do I delved into it and and watch the game and watch the reverse leg and found out about it and I just put a tweet out saying is this the best opposition team to ever come to Villa Park and a villa fan Steve came back to me and said he was there and I asked him to tell me about it and he did and and what you saw in the intro to this video was what he saw back in 83 when we played Juventus so we’re running it back so thank you and big up to Steve for sharing those words because it was really good and it’s good to look back and just reminisce on on a big occasion and and it was a big occasion because of the players that Juventus had coming to Villa Park so Hannah this is another big one we’re running it back hopefully we get the victory in this one how you feeling about Juventus and this occasion Champions League I think I’m feeling a I’m feeling excited because it’s another Champions League game at home and I think that’s the way we need to feel because we don’t know how many of these we’re going to have obviously it’s gone really well so far especially at home but we just don’t know how long we’re going to be in this competition if we’re going to be back in it next season it just all feels a little bit up in the air at the moment so I’m looking forward to it I think the big games where phip Park is at its best I think everyone can acknowledge the fact that that atmosphere really is top when you’ve got a really good opposition coming to phip park and there’s something really big on the table obviously we want to win every game but there’s just something a little bit more special knowing you’ve got like a Titan of European football coming to Villa Park and look what happened earlier in the season when we had Bayern Munich visit it was such an occasion it was a spectacle and I think that kind of was felt on to the pitch and it shook that team into life and I think that’s what we kind of need at the moment I think we need some kind of occasion to kind of Kickstart a little bit of a little bit of form a little bit of something in what’s been quite like a subdued and dull month or so of of watching Villa so I think this this type of occasion could be exactly what we need and I think it’ll be another good test won’t it to to see how far we can go in this competition we’re sort of now at the bottom of that pack that is automatically going to qualify for the last 16 so we want to stay in that really to minimize games but also for the achievement of saying that we’ve automatically qualified in our first season back um at the top of European football so I think it’s a good opportunity after this um obviously we’ve got a really busy fixture period and it won’t be you know long until this last this last couple of um Champions League Le games roll around so we’re really at crunch time now to make sure that we’re getting as many points as possible to to stay in that top eight and hopefully this is a a good way for us to do that yeah definitely I mean we win this R 12 points with one game this year left two next year which sounds mad saying next year but yeah it’s next year Monaco and Celtic Juventus are on Seven Points we’re on nine it’s important if you know we want to get that sort of top eight that puts some distance between a team that’s in and around us Justin that black and white kit at Villa Park you know it’s it’s gonna it’s gonna hit a bit when if they wear that kit I know liil played in the red Kit and they wore their away shirt I hope they wear their home shirt and and not the away one but um yeah what are your thoughts do do you recall 83 um Juventus and how are you feeling this game I’m old but I’m not that old yeah I was only seven and my footballing uh Journey haven’t really kicked off at that point to be fair so I’ve got no real recollection of of that game I have since obviously and uh yeah I’m much the same as you you know Italian it Italy Italian football um gazetta de la sport you know I just back in the days when it was on channel 4 like you referenced I wanted to be sitting on some Cafe with him watching you know reading the paper and having his little coffee talking about gazer and David plat yeah Italian football is just it’s just special isn’t it it’s magical yes it’s had its problems over the last decade or so but those names just roll off the tongue and I think Italian football for me you know after the Premier League is is is a really special league and somewhere I’d like to go and see football at and Juventus is right up there with the best of the best isn’t it you know famously got their kit from knots County I believe that’s where the black and white stripes came from back in the day so I’ve seen them rocking to V part you know when we all sat and watched the the draw I think the home games that just couldn’t have been any better really could they and starting off with buy and what everything that means to Villa but this one I agree with you this one really stood out for me see an Italian Club I go back to the Inter Milan games at Villa seeing them come to Villa Park and I went to both of those games and they were special special nights and I think we’ve got to just forget everything else that’s going on and just totally totally embrace the moment on Wednesday you know live for now live for this game regardless what happens go and enjoy it go and just soak every moment in of the game on Wednesday and if we can get a result fantastic but we’ve put ourselves in a wonderful position to progress and it would be nice to not have those extra two games but in in another way L You’ both alluded to we don’t know how and when this could ever happen again we hope it’s going to happen multiple times but part of me now thinking I don’t mind an extra two games if we pull someone out the back that was really really good so I’ll get the implications on the the the form and the fitness and extra games I totally understand that and I would take a top eight now but I also wouldn’t be too disappointed with a couple of extra games either no I’m I’m I’m just loving the Champions League I think I think it’s it’s so like magical and you know as a fan that’s that’s never witnessed us at at the Pinnacle of European football then I I think you you have to you can’t not and and and I do think Emy does separate competitions and and I think we kind of should do the same as well like forget about the Premier League now it’s full focus on the Champions League like embrace it enjoy it we’ve been doing really well and we’re still learning in Europe as well we we’re a we’re a team that’s only been back in Europe around a year you know what what we’ve been able to do and the growth that we’ve been able to have I I think it’s it’s a tremendous Journey that we’ve been on we’ve done really well Hannah we were chatting just off air and we you were mentioning that you’ve watched the um the opposition piece I did and you spoke about Louise it looks like he’s injured so it looks like he’s probably not going to play if he was going to play he’d probably be on the bench anyway with with the weight it’s being going are you a little bit surprised that that sort of happened to him there that he’s not a first teamer he’s not flourishing he’s not a superstar in Syria I probably am surprised yes just because I rated him so highly when he was at Viller I thought at his best last season he could have got into any team in the Premier League genuinely and maybe that’s my and blew it inted spectacles but I do think he was in excellent form last season for Villa he was integral for our kind of performances both in the league he obviously played pretty much every minute he possibly could across the conference league and you know in the C as well so he was really like a Lynch pin of this Aston aside and even just under unite Emy since he came in like Douglas Louise was was one of the four or five names that you knew were going to be on the team Sheet every week it was our penalty takers he was everything that we kind of wanted in that number six um so when we knew we were going to sell him I think I kind of came to terms with it being a financial decision but what pained me was thinking oh God he’s going to go on and be a star somewhere else so from a really selfish perspective I’m kind of quite glad that it’s not worked out because I’m thinking it would have hurt really bad to see him brutal go and you know just absolutely smash it in another League um because I I really loved him at Villa and I kind of was thinking oh God if he’s he goes on and becomes like a 100 million pound player we’re going to think oh God wish we kept him but I am a bit surprised I think it was probably a big pressure move for him knowing that he had it quite good at a club in England he was settled had his family here he up sticks with his misses and tried to really make it work and she’s doing far better than he is um so you know the pressure’s on I think we know what it’s like for a lot of players when they have a big move and if they don’t immediately hit the ground fans can get on your back it would be the D at Billa um and this as soon as like a decision goes against him like a red card or something then you know the head’s sort of going to drop and you think oh this is a terrible start so it’ll be interesting to see what happens to him for the rest of the season obviously he’s out for this game um I’m not actually too sure on the severity of his injury I don’t think it’s it’s too bad so I’m sure he’ll be back playing soon but he’s just not even really making the first 11 is he so it’ll be really interesting to see if he does turn it around because we know he’s got it in him it’s not like the you know Ser or any other league in Europe is going to be more difficult than the Premier League we know that in England you’re playing pretty much the best of the best so it’s not like he’s took a step up I would say I think it’s probably he is just struggling to adjust um he’d been he’d been at Villa for quite a number of years havn’t he so I am surprised but you know uh selfishness as side I do I do hope he kicks on at some point because he is a great player and he deserves he deserves a good move I do personally feel like some of it is the unai emry effect and the way in which emry coaches a lot of these players and he gets the maximum amount of juice out of each player that maybe without his guidance he’s just not he’s just not quite there that’s the general and and I think you’ll probably see this with a few players that even play for Villa that emry can get the best out of them and some of them might not reach that level if they ever move on to another team that’s just a a little vibe that I’ve got so I’m just going to talk five 10 minutes now just tactically on what we can expect from Juventus how are they’re going to play what they’re really good at one thing about the the Douglas Louise situation is the fact that Juventus signed pretty much a whole brand new Midfield which means that Douglas Louise is jostling for positions with some new players so Juventus play in a 433 formation which is very very attack him with their fullbacks it’s attacking with their Wingers but what they do really well is they build up with possession through Central Midfield they play a lot of passes they play a lot of passes in their own half and building up into the halfway line cambiaso bombs forward absolute wonderful player for Juventus the right back will do exactly the same yiis is one of their best players 19 years of age absolute Superstar him and AR Gula are just going to be tearing it up for turkey they are incredible so he’s a massive threat he can occupy these spaces he’s you know final ball is really really good so we’ve got to be careful of that vovi hasn’t been playing but he’s a doubt for this game their last game they went with a false number nine with Weston McKenna now it’s going to be interesting if that Weston McKenna plays because I don’t know one Villa fan that rates Weston McKenna when we were linked with him last summer and I was saying actually I think he might be all right in our system under em nobody was having none of it so it’ be interesting to see what to of performance Weston McKenna puts in there if he plays in this position but vovi might be back so it will’ll stick him in there as well but the biggest threat for Juventus and that their biggest option is in central Midfield then Central Midfield works really well together they sit in a bit of a triangle sort of shape a little bit of a an offset triangle and what happens is within their Midfield cell’s at the base who generally goes a little bit more to the right turam goes to the left and Co Meyers will go to that right hand side as well and this is where their average positions generally are so they’re heavy in Midfield they’re pretty Dynamic but their ability on the ball is very very good they overload the box with players so once they’re getting into advanced areas there will be players in the Box cutbacks they’re really big on we will get into in a second the area where Villa can hurt this team and I kind of feel like a little bit like what glasner was saying about how Palace has set up to play against Villa I actually feel like we might be quite well suited to playing against this Juventus side so if we take a little look at the average positions and passing network over the last three Sera games you can see that what I was talking about with that defense with that Midfield too that they are heavy with their possession and their passing within that area the further up the pitch it goes the the less you’re going to get so you can see that the the center backs to the left back 51 we’ve got Center back to Center back 46 cambiaso to uh toam who’s going to be playing on that left side of Midfield at 34 so that’s where you can really see a lot of their buildup happening you can also see that they’re passing areas over the last three matches very heavy on that left hand side with cambiaso with teram and with yielders as well so Aston Villa’s right hand side has got to be locked in because that’s the area that they’re going to be trying to go down as well pressing they can press but they’re not massive on this winning the ball back higher up the pitch they’ve got 30 high ball wins over the last three games and it’s only led to three shots so that should allow Aston Villa to have more time on the ball a little bit more buildup because they’re not actually like winning the ball back as much as what you expect them to be and there it’s only leading to three shots so hopefully on transition we’ve sorted ourself out and then talking about those cutbacks we’ve got box passes over the last three games 16 successful 13 King passes 17 unsuccessful and complet is at 48.5 Which is higher than what Aston Villas is at but the one area that I personally feel like Aston Villa will be able to exploit this team and get some Joy is in this Central Area here so we’ve saw the passing Network we’ve saw the average positions we know teram is going to be more drifting over here K me is exactly the same Lo tell you there’s space in the middle for Villa to exploit and that is how we have been playing under Emery this season we’ve gone more Central and we’re attacking down the middle a lot more so for me personally this feels like it could be well suited to Aston Villa Justin after all that how are you feeling and how are you feeling about us shaping up against Juventus it’s going to be really fascinating isn’t it you know if you said to me nine key attributes of an Italian side you’d say passing um defensive defensively very good which they are I think only see seven goals all season in in the in Sera technically very good team lots of good players dominate possession all these things that that that a very good Italian side and they’ll come to Villa and they’ll be very confident and they will get on the ball and they will slow the game down and they will try and frustrate the head out of us and they will know exactly the form we’re in and they will know that if they can do all that it will frustrate us it will frustrate the fans and they want to keep them apart very quiet they will not want to let us let us get off to a flyer or get an early goal or anything like that so they will try and just keep the ball and and they’ve got some very very good technical players aren’t they and then when they get into the final third they’ve got players that can Hur you so I think overall we’ve got to be very um switched on and start very quickly and make sure that that everything that has sort of Gone Away over the last few weeks we’re on it like you said earlier you know it’s a new it’s a new competition for us we can put everything else out the way we can just concentrate wholehearted on this and I fancy that if we can get the Midfield Balan right which I think is really important in this game based on you know the strength they’ve got in that area we’ve got players that that can definitely hurt them um but we’ve got to get the balance of the team right it’s going to be very interesting who’s fit and who plays in the double pivot and in the other two sort of Midfield is positions which you know at our best we were playing for Center midfielders weren’t we and I do wonder if Personnel allows us to whether we could maybe go back to to that with sort of a forward and and somebody off the forward so all depends on who’s fit but we can definitely hurt them we can definitely do well against it’s just can we lift ourselves above the malays that we’re currently in to put on a real good performance and and I think we can I think they’ll be ready for it I think I think we can say Premier League we are in a bit of a a a rot but the way Em’s talking the way Barkley was talking after the game very very positive it wasn’t really dict ated by this rout it was sort of forward thinking and I think that’s just where they are that I think they know that performances aren’t at the right level because of mistakes but I know that they know that the capabilities that they can overcome it and that they are a good team and it’s it’s about getting back to finding our best which I think we’ve got a really good manager we’ve got really good players I think we’re going to get there and I think this type of game Champions League under the Lots it’s going to get you up for it anyway like if you can’t get up for this like you you’re in the you’re in the wrong sport so we’re going to talk about the Villa lineup now then right I’ll let you two do it I will caveat and say I’ve seen coner back in training and Kamar so you can bear that in mind then so Hannah what’s your back for for this game I have no doubt we’re going full strength for this one we know that unai absolutely loves this European competition so I’m going with what I think is our strongest B four and hoping that obviously conza is fit which like you say back in training you’d hope he would be couple days training so for me it’s going to be Conor and Po in the in the back uh Center back position and then uh I would actually start probably Luc Dean on the left side um I just think is in slightly better form but argue that what you like um I think so far Matson has been okay but I just think I just think we’re gonna go with Luc for this game and I’d agree skate goat number one Matty cash in right oh yeah love love a little scapegoat in there yeah I am i w i I won’t have I won’t have that much Massy Cash Land there I won’t I for me look at the Crystal Palace game look at how second performed second half obviously yeah still not good enough but that right side changed so much when m c came on I won’t hear any different and let’s be honest what other options do we have lunai hry clearly doesn’t n jelovic that much and Bogard just you can’t be starting Bogard against Juventus at home in the Champions League if you’ve got Matty cash I’ve gone a bit R my back four you know oh my God what you I actually think that’s probably what’s going to happen the cash coner power I think it’s the obvious one coner is fit you we are string for options at right back but I do think with his his pre reference of playing concert right back in Champions League games and I I do wonder whether we might throw and he did start Mings in the last game as well whether Tyrone could come in now I know the old people have be shouting at the screen now you can’t play to left footy Center Defenders but I do wonder whether it will be a coner Mings pow D I think that’s the other way is going I can’t see con right back for another game I can’t do it but he’s a center back he’s not I was just throwing it in as I was just trying to think of a way to add somebody who I think we’ve been missing massively at the back we’ve conceded far too many goals this season we’re not defensively good enough we haven’t been and I think we’re a better defensive unit When Ty Rings is in the team I just do I get the get the arguments the problem is Po’s been so good at that left-sided player it’s very difficult to say how you drop out Ty around play there which is his natural position I I don’t know I mean I’m fully with I’m fully with Hannah here like I saw enough against Palace when cash and Bailey were on that right side that that that Bailey had someone to pass to to start with that was within five or six yards of him it wasn’t defensively the right side it was like how much more fluid the attack up the right side like the link up with so much better do you do you think that this right back issue is something that’s got to be resolved with him before the start of next season I would say because he does he likes to play con there for obvious reasons because it allows the way that he likes the back for to to work with the attacking left side but he doesn’t trust cash enough to play him and say you are my right back you’re going to play every week there’s there one of the issues that we’ve got in this 11 that we’re seeing that’s got to be resolved one way or another you either bring a player in that can play that defensive right back role that that that’s also solid C like I I think I said it the week like a Kyle Walker Tai who’s very good at Center off but he’s also a very good right back that type of player I’m not saying him or you say Cass you’re our right back you’re going to play every week but then it impacts on the way he like to play wock set up that’s something that has to be resolved I think at some point I mean after after the palace game I did I did a lot of studing and and me and Earl were were talking we were talking a lot that night and we we were talking a lot the next day as well and part of the problem for the right back it’s not even the defense it’s the protection that the defense is having from the rest of the team so I we picked up on something that I didn’t really get to mention on the the match preview and I think this is really important so if you look at the defense against Palace on Saturday you’ve got your right back whose average position was on the halfway line you’ve got your left back whose average position was in the opposition half you’ve got Diego Carlos who he’s I think he’s probably in the right position there but the big problem was po Tes is position now if you have a look at pes’s position look how far left he is he’s really far left and look at his heat map of where he where he gets the ball it’s okay in his own half but look where he’s in the opposition half now if he’s going into that opposition half look at the space that’s be behind him and that is around him it’s massive but not only that on Saturday we didn’t have a player that was protecting the back three or the back two because both our Central midfielders were very Central and practically kind of doing the same role now personally my opinion until we get somebody who sits in and protects that back three or four or or or two we are going to have problems on transition all of the time that that’s where I’m at I think we can we can talk about the right back but I think it’s the Midfield as well I I agree I think something I think if you do stick with cash which I’ve got no problem mat Cas I you know on day a decent right back I think if we go with that which I think is the most obvious way to go I I totally agree with what you’re saying Luke we need a fully Fifth and a fully firing Rubik carara back in this side sitting in that double pivot and allowing him to allow both fullbacks to get forward and do what he did very well when he first come in drop back in and make up a back three and that allows then a two an attacking output on both sides of the pitch or so that that’s another way of getting around it you know Anan is a totally different type of player to kamaro he’s not as athletic he is athletic but you know what I mean Kamar just suits that role so well and his use of the ball so good and I think to drop Ana in there you you you lose that physicality in his size and his stature and you know so I think fully fit and firing Kamar is so important to this team to allow maybe to to to get the fullbacks back forward or something else I thought maybe in future a bit like we’ve seen in the Juventus lineup which is why I’m very surprised Douglas leiz hasn’t done so well in Italy because of his you would say his attributes are perfect for Italian football the way his style his language nature the way he gets around the pitch his passing range is to maybe do what Juventus are doing in time as a sort of another way of trying to play and you know we know that the manager loves to to to do tactical be very aware of things is to maybe go to a 433 you know with a one six and two in front of him instead of two sixes and one in front of him I don’t know something I have to give at some point yeah I think we just can’t keep conceding the same goal time and time again you know it’s it’s that exact same goal and it’s it’s as if Now teams have got this blueprint where they go right Win It win it quickly in central Midfield wide player run ball over ball through the channel you threw on goal it cannot be that easy because we’re we’re having games at Villa Park so when Palace scored we had pretty much all of the ball for around 40 minutes and we’re huffing we puffing it’s so difficult for us to to find that opening and then teams are just once we get our goal you’re thinking right let’s go on now and it’s like same goal again off our own Corner clean through and it’s like we you know they have 30% possession right and 13 13 13 shots off off 30% possession it’s far too much and it’s far too easy so all this tells me that there’s a fundamental problem with the way in which we’re setting up without the ball I totally agree but this is why he he likes this right backer can play center half because it it you know allows you to to to squeeze in and have an extra defensive body doesn’t it but I think like I say for me the way around it is to put your two you know Luis and Kamar were so good together because they both did more or less the same job and they’re both phenomenal footballers and yes at the start of the Season we all said yeah we haven’t missed him we haven’t missed him I think we have if I’m honest looking now at where we are I think have missed both of them together as that pairing that can do they were so great the way they doveet tail together one would drop off one would sit in they’re both really good at covering they’re both really good at you know when they opposition team broke on us and we we lost the ball in the middle of the park they’re both really good at at closing it down so right we shut that out totally so maybe we have been a little bit quick in saying that we haven’t missed them as much as I think we’re probably looking at the way we play the goals we can seeed to double defensive double pivot that’s exactly what they’re do they’re defensively a double pivot they their job is to is to break the play up and and be auxiliary Defenders when you need them I don’t even think like it’s even just personnal wise I mean I would never have denied the fact that I was going to miss is like I said ear really liked him but I think take away the actual Personnel the people in those positions think about the consistency we had in in the starting 11 last season like we had the same players that we just played pretty much every game apart from the odd bit of rotation obviously Kamar got injured around this time last year but then even after that we had like tman settled with dougas Lise or you know we had a relatively settled team and this season is chopping and changing all the time and like the weekend against Palace you’ve got Tans and Barkley who have we played them together before I don’t think we have have or if we have they’ve not played many minutes together and they’re both so slow like we’ve got no pace so if you’ve got two two of these players who are playing like Luke’s as a very similar role neither of them I think are naturally really defensive players so they’re already kind of adapting to to this system adapting to playing next to each other and then they’re being asked to have Pace to get back to cover their defense so you kind of asking more and more and more of them and I think players can only adapt so much to a system or to um the team around them before you are you just going to get exposed and I think that’s what’s happening is that we’ve got a lot of players coming in and out we’ve got a lot of trying to make things work we’ got you know trying to play cono in right back I don’t see that it’s worked and then you you just adding more and more things that are changing each week when I think what happened last year last season sorry is that we had a really settled style of play mostly settled team and we’ve lost we’ve lost a lot of that I think and I think we’re noticing it now injuri helped us last season stupidly because we had to play by see the same s every week didn’t we at the time we were saying I can’t believe we got all these players out but having a settled team well I mean look at look at when when we played against Bru in the champ I League we brought Mings in didn’t we we brought Matt Matson played as well we brought in players there we played against Crystal Palace we’ve got a brand new double pivot Tans and Yuri we’ve brought in Matson we’ve brought in Bogard you know when when’s the last time we had a when we played the same back four three or four games in a row constantly changing and in football the one thing that you need is a settle back for I look at Liverpool at the minute it’s canate van dijk Simas Trent week in week out whatever the competition it’s that sign back for and I think yeah we’ve had injuries to cona but if he’s back we’ve just got to keep playing this sign back for there because it’s changing too much and as much as we want this squad rotation with with Di and and Matson Etc I don’t think it’s helping really um so I just kind of want to see a settled 11 really um take us about three hours to get this team sorted well I’ve already done it we you’ve already did it right but I just want to know Hannah is there anything in there that you’d change I I don’t think so that’s probably what I was going to pick again Kamar if he’s fit he has to come back in we need like Justin says we need a fit consistent boober car I think that’s one of the things we really really missed so he h absolutely has to play if he’s fit Tans I think again has just sort of fizzled out the last couple of games and I think it’s because he’s playing in a position that we probably don’t want him to be in I think ideally you want him paired next to a Kamara or even an Onana just someone a bit different um and then yeah I think that that front three I really just honestly barely get a goal I think it it needs to happen soon we’re seeing it is he getting close now and I don’t think he’s getting close I don’t think he’s playing really badly I just he’s just like f margins away from it but yeah I think like we’ve touched on we need a bit of something to be settled because the other thing is you need those players to come in and even if at first we’re still not quite clicking you need to keep playing them to build the momentum and build the consistency and to play them into form at this point because the clearly the the rotation and the coming in and out and trying different things is we’re just so unsettled and I think that’s why we’re conceding so many goals and we’re not scoring enough to counterbalance it like we were at the start of the season so we got to get some kind of chemistry going with the team to start scoring as well it’s not conceding and I do kind of feel like that that toes in with a couple of the little niggly injuries we keep getting such as Ramsey Kamar Onana you know two of those haven’t played much football in the last year to seven months and the fact that when they’re in they’re in for a bit and they come out they’re on the bench and then the backing and the high intensity workload I just think some of their bodies now just need constant football to sort of just toughen up and just get back on track and get in that little bit of a run really so so yeah I think we’ve we’ve spoke about Juventus at the start which I think was was really nice because I think that’s you know if we do get any Juventus fans that’s what they want to wear they don’t want to wear us waffling on about our our our woes of formation and and tactics and personal Etc so and then I think for Villa fans you know it’s really good topics and I think we all are on the same sort of page I think most I’d say um some aren’t but you know there we go but um yeah so I think most are on the same page and and I just want to say just just enjoy the game and um yeah hopefully it’s a good one so we’ll do score predictions and then we’ll go I think we are going to win and I’m going to go 21 I think we’re going to win 2-1 we con see our first goal at home um so Justin what are you going with I really going to win I can’t predict anything else I just think it’s time for us to get back on a winning streak and there’s no better time to do it than Juventus at home in the Champions League love it Hannah yeah I’m going two1 as well I think yeah we’re going to concede a goal because that’s what we do but I’ve got a I’m manifesting positivity so we’re going to win um um and yeah I think if we win win Wednesday night morale mentality on and off the pitch we have moment yeah up the Christmas tree up the Christmas tree my daughter did it with me she loved it she loved it so uh that that’s George’s handiwork I think we need to get some batteries in the little little lights but um yeah everybody’s got a bit of a te as well so yeah up the Villa up the
