are the lineups for tonight now how do these two goalkeepers compare well the Wolfman 82 and one with a 233 goals against and a 926 save percentage with a shut out that’s a pretty good line if we take a look at forsburg three and four 276 and a 903 two shutouts that’s not too shabby either so two good tendies going at it tonight now if you haven’t paid much attention to these two teams This Is How They Stack Up on the power play Calgary is 18th overall in the league Ottawa is fifth on the penalty kill Calgary is 25th overall in the league Ottawa is 14th in the faceoff Circle Calgary 30th in the league Ottawa 13th in the goalie categories goals for Flames are 23rd Ottawa 15th goals against Calgary is eighth and Ottawa is 24th so all in all as a team Ottawa actually stacks up much better than the Calgary Flames however the Flames have that better record in playing in the the tough West so we’re going to have to see how this one comes out going to be a very interesting interesting one uh to see how these two teams come out against each other in the last 10 the Flames are 62 and two they’re riding a four game win streak right now defeating Minnesota New York Rangers New York Islanders the Nashville Predators they are looking to make it five in a row the Senators on the other hand after beating Toronto and Boston they have lost five in a row they are three six and one in their last 10 so the Senators trying to break a losing streak trying to get back into that W column would like to sleep how’s it going welcome in uh and I saw Luna question yes that is the plan as of right now that is the plan so this is how these two teams stack up you know on paper it looks like the Senators have that better team however the Flames riding that win streak the go The Wolf Man Dustin wolf has been playing unbelievable hockey and we take a look over the last five games McKenzie weager he’s got five points in his last five as does Drake bson yugar shanovich two goals in his last five so does Brady kachuck but McKenzie weager all five of those points are assists but hey of Drake Bon’s five three of those assists so the hot players very similar on both sides of the coin Adrian how’s it going welcome in Len welcome in welcome in everybody uh so that is how we’re stacking up really this is pretty even it is pretty even outside of the fact that Calgary’s been winning and ottawa’s been losing statistically speaking this is an even game however I am riding that hot hand I’m riding the better goenda Flames tonight Calgary Flames is my choice for tonight’s game Darcy how’s it going welcome in uh now talking about Calgary Flames we got to talk about nazm Cadre we got to talk about nasm Cadre why because the rumor mill has been swirling and when the rumor mill is swirling when the rumor mill is buzzing we gotta call it up and we got to talk about it oh no my bookmark has disappeared how could that happen let me go back and bring this up because I want to quote the actual reliable source and that source is Doug mlan per Doug mlan I believe Elliot fredman mentioned this as well as others but as per Doug mlan the Toronto Maple Leafs have begun conversations with the Calgary Flames about bringing nazam Cadre back to Toronto can you imagine Rick what’s going on welome and I don’t want him he’s not been good the last two years thrill that leavs are still scoring yeah Richard they have we’re going to talk about that in a little bit Rick Hayden is with you says please don’t bring him back see I would like to listen I would like to listen I’m a big Cadre fan and I agree codrey is not the same codrey he has been definitely not the same Cadre he was in in Colorado very very different nzm Cadre but he still plays with a chip on a shoulder still plays with a bit of an edge so I would be curious what those conversations are about nzm Cadre one of the challenges is codre has a pretty big contract he’s got a pretty big contract and that’s going to hurt any type of negotiations how do they find a way to bring him over with that big contract they’re going to have to retain some of that salary and that’s always tough to do right now we’re talking what players are we flipping back and forth who’s going to be moving around what is that going to look like and it’s tough right he’s $7 million $7 million and he’s locked up to 2 728 so in a in a year when you know Mitch marner’s offered should be offered an extension Mitch Marner right now is playing like a gazillion dollar player he’s been outstanding you got to do something with John tavar you got lots on the discussion do we have room for nzm Cadre and who’s gonna have to be moved to make that happen it’s going to be interesting Victoria hello there Captain Tuttle what’s going on welcome in so so we didn’t get a lot of the the noise and whatnot during the warm-ups which I I don’t know I kind of like it I don’t have to deal with all the music and the cop rights but hey uh thank you for those that tuned in it was quite an adventure yesterday it was the Santa Claus parade going on downtown Toronto they had streets all blocked off everywhere we got turned around we couldn’t go to where we wanted to we had to park where we didn’t want to cost us more money um but it was a lot a lot of fun and you know everybody thinking Toronto traffic isn’t that bad even Utah even Utah had to walk to the building last night they had to walk to the building they said the bus was stuck the bus could not get through the Toronto traffic so Utah didn’t want to be late coming to the building so they got off the bus and walked there’s some great video going around online of Utah walking to the Scotia Bank Arena which is which is absolutely awesome uh of course it sparked a whole bunch of conversation uh in the political realm of Toronto trying to figure out what on Earth they got to do with this traffic because you can have hockey teams walking to the rink steuart Skinner what’s going on welcome in go sends go for the next game like tomorrow night no I will not be back I will not be back at Scotia Bank tomorrow night they’re actually in Florida they’re in Florida uh Wednesday night uh they Calgary is sitting right now fourth in the Western Conference they are looking to skip over the Vegas Golden Nights Vegas who’s in third place with 28 points a win here for Calgary could Leap Frog them over of course I don’t know if Vegas is playing tonight they are and Vegas right now is losing two nothing to Philly so this could be a huge win for the Calgary Flames to LeapFrog them and move them just behind the Minnesota Wild on the other side the Ottawa Senators have dropped down to 15th spot in the Eastern Conference they are one point better than the last place Montreal Canadians so it’s a battle for the baseman in the Eastern Conference Ottawa needs to pick up this win with two points they could skip ahead of Pittsburgh and Detroit and be sitting just behind Philadelphia who Philadelphia suddenly remembered had to play some hockey they’ve been putting some wings wins together Mr Dodge how’s it going welcome in welcome to the show now for those that are entering it is only brother neander and neander that was awesome uh neander gets another one to make it three and then of course Ottawa almost came back it was a a fight for the end Joseph wall played well getting some big stops in there it was a great game uh we had some great companies sitting in our row with us lot of good Leaf fans lot of high fives lot of cheering which was awesome we went down and CH took a look at some of the uh Renovations for those that don’t know in the Scotia Bank Arena the 100 level it’s all being renovated they ripped it out they got it it they’re making it kind of fancy and modern and the finished part looks really really really nice lot of screens they opened a second store uh a lot of game used stuff a lot of game used helmets and gloves and sticks uh the gentleman I was talking to in the store there let me know actually after last night’s game they were getting neander skates from that game they were putting those on sale think he said they were going to be about 800 bucks for game used neander skates which when you think about it isn’t bad if you want to go top-of-the-line skates in a store you’re probably going to pay five or six hundred bucks for it anyways not me I I’m like I get mad if I have to pay $120 for skates but they get really expensive so for a couple of bills more to get neander game used skates it’s a pretty good deal uh they have mystery uh packs there where you could buy a Mystery Pack it has an autographed jersey authenticated Jersey an autographed Puck and an autographed 8 by10 that was about 400 bucks uh didn’t want to take the risk on it but it was pretty cool pretty neat to see they’re trying new things and I’m a sucker for those mystery packs I shared on S X and blue ski thank you Rick appreciate that what is blue sky or blue Ski Blue Ski Blue Sky what is that I’ve never heard of that before is that a new is that a new like social media thing what is BL ski oh Rick you have me intrigued I need to know these things Nick my fantasy pool you know he’s not one of those guys at the top of mind but he’s playing good hockey and uh you know sometimes you get on these streaks and these streaks really pad your stats and it will be back he’ll probably return in the new year no sense in rushing it back I assume he’s going to be back in the New Year the question though will be will he uh be going as hard as he was will oetkin still be able to push to break that record this season you know broken leg doesn’t matter which bone it is in your leg you break you fracture it is tough to come back from uh so we’ll see how he does and we’re hoping for him uh also if you haven’t newed in retiree information pavl datsuk he unretires to sign a one-day contract with the Detroit Red Wings so he can can officially retire as a Bank is an experienced Scotia Bank Arena by the way now doing tours uh we’re g to see if we can maybe uh maybe set something up that would be cool um but Toronto’s just a big city and depending on the time of year if you’re coming in the winter time you don’t want to be downtown Toronto in the winter with the snow and it’s it’s it’s not fun um if you’re going north of Toronto you know you got got Canada’s Wonderland you got some good shopping up at uh Von Mills if you want to go even North hit the Cookstown Outlet markets is kind of cool uh if you want to go up to Cottage Country you know if you go kind of the msca area or over by kind of halberton area uh really really nice there’s great great times but I I kind of think Calgary would be the Stop and maybe I’m just saying that because I’m in toron I’m in around the Toronto area um that’s right Rick Toronto is like New York it’s a small New York and depending on which pocket you go to you get a little bit of a different experience but if you’re coming to Toronto to kind of do the CN tower go see a play down to the Entertainment District um Hockey Hall of Fame of course uh is a cool experience if you’re here get to go to the Ottawa is so low in the standings they have such a good team they have so much talent they just haven’t been able to put it all together goaling at times has been a challenge as well but right now they’re playing great hockey the Ottawa Senators are doing everything they need to trying to get back in the win category after losing uh was at four five straight on the other side Calgary who had won five straight coming into this one they’re in Jeopardy of ending that streak as they are falling behind right now they’re behind two goals so how is this one going to play out we are going to know
