hello everybody I wanted to make this video just kind of give an update on my injury it is the second day of um repair after surgery on my ACL I tore my ACL during the hockey game um we played austan University second day quite a lot of pain still today was tiny bit like less pain but still very hard to sleep I feel like I got on more sleep but it’s just very pressure like pain sharper Pain still very swollen can’t really even see but that’s what it looks like just all in the brace and I wanted to show you the moment I um I got injured so here I’m coming off the bench and I’m flying and trying to angle this guy and actually doing a pretty good job of angling the guy but um it seems like he he tried to cut into the middle and I was trying to angle him here and then I kind of bro uh break and I tried to hit him with my back with my ass basically and then I feel like his knee went into my knee and in that moment I was like something was wrong you can see here in this Collision it’s either this or when I fell on the ice I was after I got up I was in so much pain here I could tell like something is not right I’m still getting the pucking deep but then I I’m like trying to bend it and I was very in very much pain here next shift couldn’t really even skate I was like this is so unstable and I tried to do it I tried to make couple strides here I was like no shot no way and then I went to bench it was pretty EXT pretty extreme pain but then like couple shifts later on the dzone here yes here I uh track this guy and then I tried to push off and that’s it the leg just gave out it was very sharp very sharp pain felt like something was stabbing me in my leg I could not tried to get up but I was no shot and uh the doc looked at me and same period there was like this was like a fourth shift of the game and the doctor looked at it said that too much movement going on next day I got MRI and yeah it was he healed te right now I’m just focusing on recovery as much as I can I have physical therapy in two in about 10 days I have on uh today’s what 14th in 10 in 9 days I have um post operation um doctor I have to go to doctor again probably take out stitches they’ll take a look at it and then 26 I’m scheduled to do some physical therapy three times a week but I’m just so I just want to get back on the ice and I know it will take a while it will probably be 6 months maybe even more than six months I might have to PR prepare myself for the worst case scenario of course I don’t want to think about the worst case scenario but it is what it is it’s just you never know what’s going to happen in in this game the game is so fast nowadays all I can think about right now is recovery and just be 100% I um I talked to some agents today and I want to make that jump after when I get healthy hopefully this year I can make a job to jump to professional but um if it’s not this year it’s going to have to be next year um I think I’ll have a good opportunity is just recovery recovery will be very important for me well that was uh that was just update and I want to kind of show you how it happened kind of details of uh my injury a little update to it’s hard to film anything interesting right now as I am basically just in the room basically laying all day um but I know I’ll I’ll be able to recover and uh that’s my goal all I can think about right now well thank you for listening
