make a statement on a national stage in this game What’s the most exciting aspect to you coming into this game just taking a broad look at things I think the most I think the the thing I’m excited to see the most in this one is what does Bama do against the physicality of Houston right because obviously they played an Illinois team I don’t consider that team to be all too physical F like to Me Bama looks really good when they’re playing teams that I think they are physically more imposing than and physically quicker than right um except when they’re playing in Mackey when everything goes out the door and Mackey Voodoo takes takes takes over and CJ Cox goes from nine straight but Houston is a team that can match them match their intensity can match their athleticism can match you know the foot speed everything like that and I’m very interested to see kind of how that turns out because to me whoever wins this game I don’t know if it’s close and I feel like that’s cheating to say that but I think whichever team wins this basketball game is gonna be about double digits yeah because there are two opposite Styles here right Houston is the slow methodical grinded out bam wants to get up down the court and not finesse but be a little bit more free flowing with things than Houston wants to be the one thing about Purdue in the Bama game was tkr owned the inside in that game both both cliff and Grant Nelson got in foul trouble for Bama and that one and tkr feasted if Houston’s bigs are able to own that b of front Court in that way you know there there’s a good chance that Houston wins that game flip side though my big question with Houston this whole offseason I think this is a great test for it is if they’ve had a a guard or someone on the perimeter really Step Up be a go-to guy offensively because as good as Houston is and as good as they they kind of the floor for them is the ceiling is going to be determined by who can be the go-to scoring option I think you need somebody in a game like this to take over in stretches off offensively at times I don’t know who that guy is B’s got like five of those guys who can do that we’ve seen that we still haven’t gotten a really good Mark SE game yet this season um like Baron fion G to be the best guard in the court in this game which is a very real possibility interested to see things from that standpoint if Alabama does win this game what happened what has to happen for them to [Music] win one they they sure they can’t get punk down low in the front court that that’s that’s the that’s for starters but also like Mark Sears needs to I you concerned about Mark SE at all without sounding too critical like he needs to wake up he needs to wake up this this bamb team needs him phon being great is awesome like don’t get me wrong yeah this team should go as Mark Sears goes Mark Sears is the guy that came back from the run along with like Grant Nelson some other guys but Mark Sears was the national Player of the Year candidate he’s the first team All-American candidate I love that Fon is playing well I love that other guards are playing well that’s that’s not an excuse though or that shouldn’t be that oh it’s okay that Mark Sears is doing this because the other guyss are doing this no this Bama team should go as Mark Sears goes and I know people have different you know uh dialogues about it it is what it is Mark sear scoring zero and Mark Sears letting other guards go back into the game is not something that just strikes confidence in me okay so I want to see a mark Sears game and if he’s gonna if he’s gonna do it doing it against this Houston team this this Houston defensively that would be one that would make me also feel good inside that like this sear slump isn’t for real you know what I’m saying yeah and his leadership and experience this is kind of game where you need somebody like that I think too kefir B is getting up early in this game because then you’re GNA make Houston try and Chase May perhaps get a little bit out of character knowing they have some ground to make up I think that could play more into B’s hands of the uptempo Pace flip side of things Houston wins this game what happens danan Roberts dominates down low tuger dominates down low um but also I think there needs to be is is this gonna come down to point guard play like is this gonna be like plays better is it because but when I say that then BMA wins and that’s not what I don’t know if that’s what I believe right it see that that’s my question with Houston I think Houston can solve a lot of problems or answer a lot of questions for me if they match up with B’s guards because B’s back court depthwise is the best in the country and my question with Houston you have good guards do you have a great guard and if all of them play to a certain level then you know maybe they get up there certainly kenpom has Houston as a four-point favorite so let’s use that line of Houston minus 4 Milo suzan with all du respect to Milo suzan they have the best guards on the floor I still think they got the best bigs on the floor they just need to overcome Samson in the Houston system um I think B wins the game out right I think they do too you this is I think two of my strongest preseason takes meeting at one time where I said I think Alabama is the best team in the country and I think that Houston has some questions in the back court that could keep them from being great not from being good but from being great and this is a chance where I think they would need to be great with their back court so give me Bama on the money line wouldn’t surprise me if Bama won this game by like three possessions somewhere in the seven or eight point range I think they could win this game by three possessions now so that’s going to be free throws at the end I’m very excited to do the recap with you cart because I think the outcome of this game will likely be very telling about both teams because one side’s gonna have like a real Marquee win under their belt and likely showed some things and the other will now have two losses against good teams this season and we’re going to question whether alarm should be going off for one of them there’s nothing there’s nothing I love more than Beast week alarms going off Ralph and I know that we’re going to set him off on the recap and I can’t wait is this a must-win game pre- Thanksgiving it’s a musling game for B in my opinion yeah I actually think so and for Houston yeah you know what it is let’s let’s not even go let’s not even half ass
