six rebounds six assists just one turnover and 39 minutes in a game that went to overtime uh he looks as good as any guard in college basketball he looks as good as any freshman guard the college basketball has seen in a very long time and I think it’ll be interesting to watch him against the Alabama guards because I I want to go so far as to say Dylan Harper is the best guard in this game go there but Mark Sears is on the floor and Mark Sears was looking at the camera flexing saying I’m back as he hit step back threes against Houston yesterday yeah uh and that’s nasty and congrats to him on being the second best guard on the floor Dylan Harper is the best player on the floor tomorrow that’s where you’re at you’re you’re giving that title to Dylan no matter what yes Dylan is the best player on the floor Mark Sears might take that personal maybe right he won’t he had he’s had his chances to take it personal he didn’t he didn’t take it personally against Houston when he had 24 points four for eight from three 12 for 14 from the free throw line took a personal then when he had to he didn’t take a personal at Mackie well that was Mackey Macky Voodoo is a little different this game won’t be played Mackie Arena right Dylan Harper takes it personal Mackey I’ll tell you that so here’s the issue while we’re making this about Dylan Harper versus uh Mark Sears the issue is this Dylan Harper could outplay Mark Sears 30 to5 and Alabama could win this game by 30 still yeah because once you go down the list then we’re taking okay would you rather have learon Fon or Jordan derkack i’ rather have Lear and Fon I think so too I’d rather have tickets to an Alabama football game than Jordan Durk Haack respect let’s not go that far respectfully let’s not let’s not go that no the the the real story of this is that even if we even if you get a generational Dylan Harper and let’s say ace Bailey performance right I I don’t know if that is going to be able to be a team of Bama’s caliber if Bama shows up you think if if both Harper and bayy play their A+ game Bama still has enough because that’s sort of like the sellon Rucker upside is that any given game you could get the two of them being incredible and there’s nothing the opponent could do about it so I I I think A+ from both of them keeps them in the game like they’ll have a chance maybe even win the basketball game but it needs to be A+ from both of them to have a shot okay um Notre Dame had them on the ropes man and Notre Dame’s bad and Notre Dame did not have their best player either which is a huge huge part of this yes yeah um Marcus Burton yeah get well Marcus Burton that was scary yeah the fact that Ruckers couldn’t pull away from Notre Dame once Burton went down for 20 minutes is like a massive red flag to me like a massive red flag card very ese especially given like it watching Rucker This isn’t like your normal Ruckers because they have Harper and Bailey but that also affects like what they do defensively they are not the same Ruckers of of pass like when’s the last time a Rucker’s defense was 85th in the country never never under P yeah and it’s like and that’s that’s statistically visually this team is just not what they were defensively um now they’re the 83rd offensively which must feel like top five in Rucker terms but like there’s still a lot of a lot a lot to be desired I think especially on the defensive end and like it took 30 something points six assist six rebounds from Dylan Harper to be a Marcus Burton Notre Dame team yikes yeah that’s horrible what’s uh that’s bad where are you at on Bailey it’s uh it’s weird it’s weird like he’s he kind of lik watches Harper do something but when he gets a chance to get the ball you’re getting his shot selection is so bad yeah it is it is generationally bad yeah I got another word for it more than uh weird it’s bad bad it’s just bad like the we talked so much about like fit and these guys going here look Dylan Harper going here clearly is incredible because he I think Dylan Harper could go anywhere and look like Dylan Harper Ace Bailey needs some help and I will give P some credit I mentioned it in another video he actually got a really nice action drawn up for bayy for the the quote unquote game winner I couldn’t I couldn’t believe he did that yeah no it was great it was it was really really great and um they need to do that more throughout the game I feel like they’re just kind of letting bayy do whatever he wants freelancing for the first 36 minutes and it’s not helping Ruckers at all it’s actually really really hurting them uh is Alabama fixed they were so impressive against Houston man I I thought Houston was going to really get a statement win and the opposite happened so uh in this game Alabama was closer to what they want to be from three 37% from three but they got to the free throw line 41 times I just I I don’t know I kind of feel like they may not shoot 50% from three as much as they used to but they’re better in other areas that if they get to 35 they’re still basically impossible to beat yeah I I think they might be especially if they’re gonna get that Mark Sears yeah they’re gonna get that Mark Sears they’re gonna be fixed and then uh di is diabat I think is how you pronounced it he was incredible in that game as well um defensively some things that let be left desired uh they you know LJ cry did shoot 26 times to get 30 points but um you know they did give up and did go to overtime so it’s not nothing necessarily to be that concerned about I guess I would say I just didn’t expect Houston to score that many points but you know in a game where fylon no showed um Mark Sears was able to get a lot done at the line they still didn’t shoot the ball that great in this game and they were able to beat a really good Houston team yeah and like bamama just has so much depth like you talk about they just got Holloway just like in the holster just to come in there and do a cute little 14 points you know right it’s like phylon off you just play Holloway and he’s incredible if if both those guys struggle or if ril’s off you can go to Darion Reed who’s one of the best freshman in the country uh jiren Stevenson’s finally playing the role that he should be which is water boy I love that um when they call a timeout he’s been great with the cups I’ve been keeping an eye on that and I I think this Alabama team’s a lot better for it at the same time while I’m making fun of jiren Stevenson needing to never play for this team jiren Stevenson would be the third best player on Ruckers and it would not be close so I that’s kind of where I’m at with this like even if Harper and Bailey are great I think Alabama has more than enough to get this done so we’ll see
