the reason number 576 that I’m not in charge of the technical aspect of everything that we do so there we go little insight into how stupid I really am ladies and gentlemen welcome in lovely to see you all tonight and we’ve loads to go through we’re going to be speaking about well everything you expect basically from the title uh I’m going to be calling out the echo yet again for some more some insights into life under the arest slot at anfield H I want to ask you guys as well do you think there’s a massive PR push on the go at the minute because there’s been some articles that have come out in the last couple of days that I would describe as nothing short of fluff pieces uh we’re going to be speaking about zubba mendi of course and when is this U-turn going to happen will it be January will it be in the summer we’re going to talk about the reports linking Liverpool to Alonso Davies uh we’re going to go through as well a few other bits and pieces around Muhammad Salah and uh well a link that said he was about to sign for PSG and then he changed his mind so we’ll talk about that and a little bit on Liverpool being linked with Nico Williams as well as a warning for Trent from Jamie carger so lots to get through tonight Arnell say can you do a stream for the boxing fight no I’ve always been very selfish about that one mate you know boxing is the thing that I I keep to just watch myself and and switch off and have a bit of crack because obviously Liverpool I watch doing every game and I watch along and I’m here with you guys and no place I’d rather be but for the boxing I like to just sit back and watch it with the wife what was that I said theing everything yes my wife keeps shouting in the boxing is there think I think she’s just iing up trying to find a way to knock me out to be honest with you well you know there you go so look where do we want to start off with tonight ladies and gentlemen because we do have quite a bit to go through um you know my STI I like to keep the big stuff for 10 or 15 minutes away um unlike in the bedroom where straight to the heavyweight one round bow uh your favorite Christmas movie it’s not a Christmas movie though Carl that’s the problem every time I bring this up and somebody says what’s your favorite Christmas movie I tell you but it’s nothing to do with Christmas so for me it’s Charlie in the Chocolate Factory or whatnot it’s a lot easier but that’s it that’s the one that maybe a little bit of Home Alone perhaps I’m not a Die Hard fan by the way so never watched that one I can see a lot of people in the chat whether you celebrate Christmas or not I hope you have a wonderful holiday season ahead with you and your families I hope that you’re all safe and well and enjoying a bit of time off work most likely so let’s get cracking let’s start off with she’ll we start off with the warning actually that uh Jamie carer gave to Trent Alexander Arnold and I mean it’s not a warning from the sake of you better do this it’s just maybe a bit of advice and I agree with it so what he said is Trent’s biggest issue is the free transfer as with Steve McManaman the supporters will feel that the club are losing an 80 million pound player for nothing and they won’t like it my advice to Trent would be to sign a new deal with a reasonable bio Clause that will give the club some value if rol or anybody else decide to meet it here’s the thing about what Jamie carger said there I absolutely agree with the sentiment behind it of course I do we’d all love Trent to stay and if we ever did lose them of course we’ prefer a transfer fee but I think Trent knows that Real Madrid aren’t going to come in and pay a 70 or 80 million pound transfer fee because they will very much be pushing the it’s now or never angle with Trent so I do agree with the sentiment from Jamie I just don’t think it’s a realistic situation um but it would be a situation that I think we probably would feel a little bit better about life because I have to say and I’ve said it to you guys many times I’ve always thought that yes if we ever do lose Trent in the future we could at least be comforted by a big Hefty transfer fee the possibility of losing them for free is always been a difficult one to comprehend right Nick first Super Chat of the night thank you bro appreciate you H said I know they don’t get the clicks like forwards do but I want to sign Center back excuse me I want to see more Center back and defensive midfielder links I predict the Reds will get a center back in January surley Hughes sees the shortcomings there in the depth I I don’t disagree by the way Nick I think both those positions you can make a very valid argument particularly Midfield with us needing um I’ll be honest Nick right I don’t know what to expect in this January window um I don’t like to get my expectations too high because then I find that I end up getting angry and I start with that here’s the money or where’s the what it is fair to say is the club have paid their cards close to their chest right the way throughout this with regards to transfer links and whatnot so let’s wait and see but Nick you’ve kind of you brought me back around into what I spoke about at the very start of the stream which was there’s been a lot of fluff pieces coming out lately so there was a piece on the athletic written by James Pierce and it basically said How Liverpool have evolved to FSG 2.01 and it was nothing short of a Fluff piece again the absolute shamelessness of some of these journalists with puff pieces of AR licking and [ __ ] it just it needs to stop it does my head in like nobody cares you know we we don’t care about how great you want to make FSG feel if people are supportive of FSG they’re already there if people are not supportive of them or have questions about them they’re already there but I love to dip into the comments of these things and in the comment section of this article it was just filled with arrogant [ __ ] basically describing anybody that has any questions about uh FSG as brain dead and it does my head in because that’s all they have on us look down your nose at us point at us and say we wouldn’t understand we couldn’t quite comprehend and the thing I get from this is I think that there’s just a cultural difference sometimes around the finances of it particularly on the athletic because you’ve got more American sports fans who are far more used to uh clubs having to be running a different way over there because of wage caps and stuff like that and I find it very annoying to think that people just won’t have a conversation about it or they say to the rest of us we couldn’t describe to them why we don’t like FSG have you noticed any of these type of pieces because I find it hilarious that just before a transfer window yet again the fluff pieces and the praising start to come out right on track to uh to load the owners and how great they are I’m sick of them all to be honest Carl how are you bro said Liverpool have made hat one of their top transfer targets he’s been linked um I don’t know how serious that link is or not if I remember correctly Carl had has been going back it’s probably at least six months through a year that I’ve started to see some stuff come up about had I just don’t know is the honest answer there mate like Nick said I think it will be prudent of us to start to look towards uh defensive reinforcements in the future because I’m still unsure of what happens with Quanza at this point and what trajectory he’s on now D he has the talent but he’s been a bit wobbly this season so far plenty of uh oh no that’s someone else uh Craig if we sign players this January hopefully we do but do you see any outgoings the only potential outgoing I could maybe see in January would be endo and that would have to involve liver and again I’m not saying we should sell Endo but I’m just answering the question in an honest F fashion if we brought in a midfielder for argument sake let’s say zubba menu just for argument sake then I could see a world where if an acceptable offer came in for wuro Endo then maybe arnos slot would look at it because we would have more cover there other than that I wouldn’t really be expecting any senior players to go out in January no a couple of loan options Toler Morton looks like he’s going to be going on loan to Sheffield United or at least they’re the Front Runners for a potential loan deal and then Jaden Dans I’m not really sure what to expect with Jaden will he be kept around to get some first team action or will he be moved out on loan somewhere again to get some uh Pro senior minutes I don’t know but I don’t expect any senior players to leave no Alex said it’s James pierce it is and I like James Pierce I keep having to reiterate this James Pierce I’ve only ever found to be a lovely guy but I don’t like this absolute brown-nosing nonsense that comes out over and over again just blowing smoke up everybody’s ass and telling us how great everybody is before a transfer window you can talk about it afterwards if they bring the players in all you want and I think people will be a lot more relaxed about it so fab Hawkins has just put out something that’s been posted by anfield sector and Connor send it across to me um that said Paris sjain will not be signing Ray and jerkey and that Liverpool are showing interest now I’m going to ask you guys a question for the first poll of the day one second okay so the reason I’m asking you this question is cuz I honestly don’t know what to make of this and I need some more help on it so the question I want to ask is do you believe that the turkey interest is real because it’s been mentioned by many many topnotch French accounts um and journalists and I can see so many reasons why Liverpool would be interested in them but I just don’t see where we have the space and that that’s my concern about it all age profile pricewise the situation Leon are in financially I can absolutely see a world where Liverpool think there’s a bargain to be had there but I just don’t know where he comes into our Squad and who makes way or where there’s a space from yet so yeah for me if we are losing somebody perhaps but I just don’t see it myself but again I wanted to get your take on it because I I’ll also admit that I wouldn’t have we think because Paris andain themselves have come out and said nope we were never had any conversation to sign Mo um that their president and mo are friends but that’s it and I find it hard to believe that he would have went to play for PSG because with all due respect the league isn’t good enough for them they aren’t going to win the Champions League or challenge for it and it would just be a financial decision and if he was going for just financial decisions Saudi Arabia would have probably paid him a lot more money so I I don’t believe it is the honest answer and I don’t know why it’s being put out there now I don’t know why you know it’s doing the rounds but for me I can’t see it I can’t see it um I’d love to believe that there was some reason that he may be altered his way the mans a bit maybe that is the case we spoke about compromise a lot but on that one yeah for me it would be a it belongs on a you know a certain Island right Super Chat uh s thank you sir said I not the case and the lady died in her sleep so either way terrible tragedy at this time of the year um there was a vigil in my estate tonight for for the lady and um I just again I can’t get over such a rush to get the report to say it was something when the evidence wasn’t there so um mad one just want to let you guys in on that because I want to address it because we spoke about it a bit last night right where to next Nico Williams let’s talk about Nico Williams so according to the athletic and I took this piece from the echo so it’s up there yourselves if you want to have a look at it they said Liverpool have a longstanding admiration for in or for niiko Williams not anaki Williams sorry niik Williams ahead of the January transfer window and the report has given the Reds fresh hope that there may be uh able to sign the B bow star they say that Barcelona May no longer have an interest in signing Nico Williams due to the form of lamin yal and Rafia this season despite this change in stance from the La Liga Club the report claims that uh Nico Williams is increasingly likely to move to the Premier League if he was to leave bilbow and then they go on to say Liverpool will face competition from Spurs Arsenal Chelsea Bayern Munich for the Winger signature it’s been reported that he has a 55 million euro or 45 million pound release clause in his contract with Bill BAU only willing to let the player leave if the Clause is activated so again I’m into a situation of I would have no quams about Liverpool looking to sign Nico Williams but if there’s one position we don’t don’t need to strengthen it’s probably left wing now maybe this would be a signing that you know we would move him into another position or something I don’t know but with Muhammad Salah looking increasingly likely to stay this would be a case again of you know where do we put him no problem with Liverpool being linked to a player like Nico Williams Because I’m a big fan but yeah I I just don’t see in our current makeup of of the attackers we have and even if we were to move on a Darwin or somebody in the summer I just don’t see where he fits in but he is a very good player and if he moves to the Premier League it’ll be interesting to see how he gets on uh John Monroe said recovered in that position that’s my sentiment exactly mate uh you know and well covered in the position as well I mean between Cody gakpo and uh Lucho you know with great options there and then you’ve still got kesa who could play off the left off the right through the middle so yeah I don’t I don’t think this one holds any uh water unless we’re in for a nasty shock about somebody Moving on but I don’t think that’s the case uh fantino said Nico reeks of a Barcelona signing it look look if I was Barcelona I would be considering bringing in Williams Moving On Rafia if possible because imagine having yamal and Nico Williams having that Spanish partnership in the Barcelona team for years to come that could be truly special but at the moment you look at Rafia and he’s doing very well for Barcelona this season so yeah I think um their finances probably wouldn’t allow them to to bring them in or even to find a space for them uh escapado said Nico Williams will end up at City I hope for his career he doesn’t H by the way it looks like City are going to be very very active in the January Market according to many reports today talk of two three play is being brought in there but um will it be too late for them to I guess save some of their season uh Craig let kellerer go un loan for one season and S Allison one season later will’ll get good money see the problem with your argument there mate is kellerer is one year to go on his contract so we can’t loan him out and he won’t sign the new extension and I wouldn’t either in his position to be honest with you would guarantees about playing time so there’s no way that that’s going to happen um kellerer will be sold in the summer and we won’t even see the full value of it because you know these Geniuses that we’re told are constantly amazing FSG 2.01 and all you know the Brain Trust have let another player run down a contract to a point where we won’t see the full value of them geniuses uh City need to rebuild they’ve been found out this season well hopefully they’ve been found out in more than on the pitch you know we’re still awaiting the outcome of that uh hearing as well so let’s wait and see what happens there so let’s have a look Alonso Davies this is another one that I’d like to believe is true so Alfonso Davies is open to a potential transfer away from Bayern Munich to Liverpool says Christian Faulk and a few others in Germany now I have no idea if we’re very interested or not 24 years of age more than good enough to come and play for Liverpool more than seasoned enough to come from a you know a club like that top level established International as well I just don’t think Liverpool will get into a bidding war around his wages and I would expect that the wages that he’s going to look for leaving Bayern would be very very substantial which is why you the real madrids and Manchester United of this world been mentioned ones who have been known to pay higher wages than us for players so I think it would be a great move for Alonso Davies and I think it would be a move that would work for Liverpool but you know seeing what we’ve seen from us around wages and that I don’t know I feel very doubtful that Alonso Davies will be wearing a Liverpool shirt uh kilo said I wonder about Dave’s way W the on that actually let’s speak a little bit about arnest slop because again the athletic in I guess this is the fluff piece of of a different nature and one that I’m very much willing to get behind to be honest that’s my hypocrisy so the athletic has been told that at least three players at anfield have said in private that Arna slot’s methods could have secured the team or could have served the team well during recent Seasons when they just missed out on the big prizes so I guess you interpret that one of two ways that it’s complimentary towards ARA which it is or that is a little slide dig towards urgen I mean three players at least three players they say have said that Arn slot’s methods may have helped them in these title races in Seasons gone by so it definitely does feel like sporting director was but you know I mentioned to David Lynch when we spoke yesterday and I asked him have you seen a difference in ARA’s press conferences as he’s gotten used to life at Liverpool and he he absolutely said yeah he feels like he settled in a lot more now he’s a bit more interactive with the journalists a bit less guarded on things and it’s just great to see it is it’s great to see him settling in so well at the club uh sorry to ask but has Salah been given a new contract yet yeah he have we just thought we wouldn’t mention it mate because you know it’s not like it’s a big [ __ ] topic or anything so we we just thought we wouldn’t talk about it you know we assume everybody’d know no M he hasn’t signed the new contracts just yet if you did you wouldn’t be able to move in here
