couple of weeks ago said we’re back when we beat Everton and amim came out and said we’re not back and I didn’t think we were back but I think today we’re closer to being back than we were against Everton because that was a complete performance away at Man City in a Manchester Derby I know they’re a bit [ __ ] at the moment and I know they’re in trouble but it’s still at the etti had it’s a difficult place to go 50% possession as well so many good performances so many things going against us their goal was Jammy Walker should have been sent off we should have had another penalty and still we kept going to the end and we got a result on top of that you got this big story going on about gacho and rashford that you know Mason Mount gets injured we fought back from adversity today and I just want to say there’s a lot of things I want to say but from the start I want to just say Ruben amarim is our manager and you need to keep keep remembering that when we have more losses which we will do because we are scraping the bottom of the barrel at the moment and there are still some more kicks in the ass to come but we are progressing we’re moving the ball better the mentality is better and I tell you what it’s a win for Manchester United today but it’s a win for Ruben am and it’s a win for the world that we want as Manchester United fans where player FC gets back in the [ __ ] mud and this football club starts to swim out and clean itself this is what we need to see we I’m fed up absolutely Fed Up of the media and players dragging us down for their own agenda and you know what he’s had a lot to deal with this with this game against Pep Guardiola against Man City his whole team was leaked last night by a so-called Manchester outlet noeds he’s had to deal with that man city went Man City completely picked a team based on seeing our formation 24 hours early like they basically played with three Defenders and we still counted it he’s dropped Gak show and rashford that would have been questioned if we’d not won the game because that’s how the media Works he’s he’s won the game he has shut down a lot of the toxicity in this club in one game the media can’t take a pop at him the players that have been left out can’t start leaking stuff either it’s absolutely a win for this football club and it goes beyond Manchester United sorry it goes beyond beating Manchester City it’s absolutely huge and so many of you for so long have been saying I want ruthlessness I want sacrificial Lambs I want a kick up the ass in this football club I don’t want a quick fix I want patience I want the big things to happen and we’re finally doing it and you know what how surprising is it you remove things that people have wanted to remove for a while and the team and the mentality is completely different in a game where I’ve seen this team down tools more times than bloody screw fix and today there was more than enough reasons to you know let your head drop Mason m gets injured lucky goal for Man City don’t get a penalty Carl Walker doesn’t get sent off loads of reasons and we keep going and going and going and going and even when you’ve got to make Subs at the end because Rasmus delit and mazra are knackered because they played on Thursday we still keep going and we get the result and Bruno misses a one-on-one but and then he steps up and scores the penalty mentality wise we’ve ridiculed this team for so long weak inconsistent can’t be trusted to day they were strong they went to the end and they delivered and if we can keep building on this then I don’t care if we have some bad results this season because eventually we’ll start being the team we need to be and that I think is so important and let’s not underappreciate what amim is doing at Manchester United because you know what if I was Eric tenh hard I’d be sat at home going you know what I wish I’d had the balls or the backing to do what he’s done there I kept playing these players I kept giving them chances they’ve got me the sack he’s gone in in the space of a month he’s leaving key players out of massive games and look what happens it this is what happens when you back a manager and this is what happens when you’ve got a manager that’s in tune with the fans and start making big decisions nobody’s bigger than this football club nobody’s bigger than this football club so why have players been allowed to be bigger than the manager for so long look what happens when you let a manager do what artetta did when he went in at Arsenal or when klopp went in when he did to Liverpool I actually think inos have made mistakes but I also think they’ve looked at Liverpool’s rebuild and Arsenal’s rebuild and gone there’s a running theme Here manager goes in makes massive calls and Club back them and today we have seen more than beating Man City 21 we’ve seen shockingly big ruthlessness Vindicated and I tell you what if you’re in that dressing room now when you see rashford and Gano not even in the squad you’re like oh my God none of us have safe and now at the end of it am will be hugging them all and saying you’re my Lads you’re my team well done and I tell you what if you’re not you’re out it’s as simple as that and it was absolutely fantastic and I tell you what to do I’d rather do it in the circumstances we did but if you watch that game Man City I have never seen a man city side that I’ve not been scared of they were weak they were lost we we were the better team 50% possession at the etti had and it didn’t even feel like it didn’t even feel like we dominated them so absolutely fantastic loved it and um you know all the pr all the agencies leaking stuff out there why don’t you [ __ ] off with your clients and your journalists do one the fans own this football club and Manchester United feel like we’re moving back in the right direction now because we’ve finally got a manager sinceer Alex Ferguson who seems to be in tune with what the fans want which is the best for Manchester United um so much to talk about super proud says Mo Beaver Amarin making big calls to bench rashford and gacho proved right I’ll get in some of your comments in a minute um as I said at the end of the watch along I think in relation to ammad any message to any player can be simplified by this player whether you’re gono whether you’re rashford whether you’re casmiro whether you’re Ericson this is the example this is a player that really should have been playing more regularly at the end of last season he had to wait for his chance and the worrying thing about that was that while he was waiting for his chance people like rashford were playing [ __ ] he should have played in the FA Cup final he got dropped he comes back in preseason he’s the best player in preseason he’s out the team again rashford continues to be [ __ ] Gano you know plays ahead of him as well amim comes in trusts him look at what he’s just done in in in our biggest game of the season so far he’s just won as the game whilst two other people can’t even get in the squad if that’s not a lesson to you in life and every other player who wants to play for Man United you should frame it this is a player that has had more than enough opportunities to feel you know targeted you know left out unfair you know all sorts of things that Ahmad could have done because it’s not been fair and yet head down work hard wait wait wait wait and then when you get the opportunity grab it on the other hand you’ve got other players who get given unfair you know get given too many opportunities don’t do anything with it this is what we want to see and I can I just say as well Ahmad simplifies what we want to do there’s still time for people like gacho but you’ve got to get you got to screw your head on you got to screw your head on and look at someone like that you know he’s only two years older than you you can turn it around rashford maybe can turn it around I don’t know but that’s what we want at Manchester United we’ve also got people like Martinez who had a bad game last week I thought he was fantastic tonight Maguire’s come back into the team had a fantastic game delit was superb um and agarte I I can’t this is a lesson to fans right be patient be patient because after two games or one game we’ve got people in our fan base who were making up nicknames for agarte saying his [ __ ] waste of money 60 million you know you go and find their tweets you go and find their sound bites they were doing it what were we saying this is a player that inos have been you know wanted this is a player that’s part of our future this is a player that needs to adjust best midfielder on the pitch today better than anything man city had best midfielder on the pitch at the etti had was agarte absolutely the amount of tackles he made simple passes the energy from minute one to minute 90 unsung hero exactly what you need in that position he was brilliant today absolutely superb as I said Martinez Maguire delit brilliant as well and I think at 1- nil maybe even at 1:1 I was thinking one of them will be my man of the match but it’s got to be Ahmad we’ll do the play rate in some minutes but it’s but it has to be Ahmad it was absolutely uh fantastic and can I just I have to say this I have to say this because if we’d lost this game then I would have been saying it’s anyway so I must say if we win the game um we nearly got cheated out of that I still Stand By and it doesn’t dampen it completely Kyle Walker should have been sent off in the first half we beat Man City 2-1 and we were cheated twice Kyle Walker should have been sent off he tried to get somebody sent off and should have got a yellow card for that and he was already going to get a yellow card so Kyle Walker should have been sent off 100% And that Rasmus one apparently from V I’ve got this hot off the press this is why it wasn’t a penalty uh in relation to uh the Rasmus one now let me find it um here it is um the referee’s call of no penalty for the challenge between Rasmus and Diaz was checked and confirmed by B deeming it as normal contact now last year we lost at Old Trafford by one goal to nil I think because of the softest penalty you’ll ever see that b gave we have just seen a penalty on Rasmus where he knocks the ball past Diaz Diaz tries to get the ball misses it and takes the player down and that’s not enough contact so let’s not forget we won we won we won so nobody can start moaning about or stop making excuses we won 2-1 it’s in the history books 2-1 to Manchester United what was that one two 2-1 to Manchester United but we were robbed of another penalty and Kyle Walker should have been sent off so let’s not forget we won 2-1 and we were robbed of two other opportunities to really batter them so three points is all that matters of course but look you know what I genuinely well we’re going to do the player ratings now but I genuinely want to say that I feel that this this game has to be the start of something it wasn’t that long ago that we were 2-n down at the ety had under Jose Mourinho at halim and they were going to win the title that day and we came out in the second half and we won 3-2 and we basically said that’s got to be the start of something has to be the start of something the very next week we lost one nil at Old Trafford to West Brom who got relegated a few weeks later so we’ve had many of these we’ve seen many of these movies before this has to be something leaving gacho and rashford out needs to change to a mentality thing beating Man City in that way has to be something there’s there’s no point winning that game and going mad about it and being happy about it if we don’t go and beat Bournemouth at Old Trafford next week which will be a difficult game so every game’s difficult in the Premier League and we’ve got to build on that I’m already like I’m ecstatic I love a glass of Reds and you know we’re going to be watching The Forum like you lot it’s great absolutely fantastic but there’s no point in that game happening if we don’t go oh Spurs on Thursday go and beat them as well you know let’s build something here because before we do the player ratings and we get all sensationalist let’s just talk about the fundamentals you win a game of football you lose a game of football you draw a game of football and the results there but it can hide a whole multitude of things and that game had more layers than a wedding cake we won the game 2-1 we scored two late goals but their goal was Jammy it was luck it was a lucky cross and that was about all they did I don’t remember a clear-cut chance for Man City earling Harland yet again shut down by man United’s defense as he’s been shut down many times baran’s done it so yeah we did defend really really well we had 50% possession at the etti had and Man City are a possession-based team we’ve beat Man City before with Ole and Jose and we haven’t done what we did there we’ve not had 50% possession we’ve not limited them to many chances you know we’ve hit them on the break it’s stuff like that we actually were the better team we did deserve to win that game and also what I’m really noticing is is that yeah look Rasmus again today holding the ball up keeping the ball laying it off Martinez lovely balls into the channels one of them led to a goal yeah there’s things like that happening defensively we’re better organized but one thing that we’re not talking about I still think we can create better chances but one thing we’re not talking about and I saw it against Arsenal who are a good team and I saw it again today against Man City and this is where you judge it how many times in that game did we not create a chance or we did create a chance or you know deflected for throwing but we pinned together five or 10 passes in really tight spaces like really quick passing bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang you’re not watching Call of Duty I’m talking about passes and and we mustn’t lose that analysis we’re passing the ball a lot better than we passed the ball in 10 years and just because it’s not leading to goals we shouldn’t ignore it we we are really getting so much better at retaining possession but not always does it lead to something but it’s just retention of the ball and that’s why you get 50% possession here and that’s why you get 50% possession at Arsenal it’s because or 60% at half time it’s because we’re keeping the ball so much better these players are playing in a different way and it’s Technical and it’s little one touch and it’s tight control it it’s there to see and also as well can you know I’m talking about us winning 2-1 I’m talking about man City’s goal being lucky I’m talking about man city having no other chances I’m talking about kyl Walker should have been sent off we could have had another penalty so it could have been 3-1 could have been 4-1 what about Bruno’s chance brilliant from mazra into into into Rasmus lovely slide rule pass Bruno should have scored so yes we’ve won 2-1 yes we’ve beaten Man City before but also let’s not forget forget we actually played well we actually had good possession we actually had the best chances we actually looked like the best side it’s more than a win it’s so much more than a win because we did a hell of a lot more than that uh so yeah absolutely fantastic so so happy um just trying to have a look at right let’s do the player ratings because I know they’re raring to go in the fan forum I mate look I love it I love it I love it from a personal reason but I love it from a community point of view as well we do this every game it’s been tough it’s been tough and you know I want to see Man United winning titles I want to see Man United winning the Champions League I want to see all of those things but these games don’t come around that often you know it’s nice to be a team at Old Trafford of course it is but when they react to it what’s going to happen with the January transfer window do we just do we just need to get rid of some players and get more better players in you know let’s not forget the whole team was leaked last night that to me and I’ll say it again and it won’t stop next week either that whole team wasn’t leaked by a player that whole team was leaked by some organization maybe close to a player that was feeling like [ __ ] you I’m going to Der the club I’ve never known the whole team get leaked to a news Outlet 24 hours before so sabotage Etc there’s problems in that football club but you know how you beat it you beat it with this sort of stuff because I tell you what if we’d lost tonight I still think amarim would be in a very very strong position because the players you know below average um I thought his distribution was poor and um yeah I just want him to be more commanding on Corners so probably say a f yeah maybe five’s a bit low five 5.5 I don’t think he was average I think he was slightly below that so I’d probably say 5.5 for Manana today um theit for me was a strong seven I mean I think he was close to being man of the match until Amad appeared um he started the game so well he was reading the ball his passing was good he was aggressive um just so consistent for his at the moment so I would say a seven uh I think Maguire pushed for a seven as well I agree I mean obviously delit came off but Maguire stayed on um yeah very physical as well really suits him in the middle obviously I think in certain games you want to play higher up the pitch uh you want to be more attacking so maybe you wouldn’t use Maguire I don’t know but in that sort of a game where you’re going to have to defend against the good side he does work well you know Maguire’s always been somebody that works well in the back three whether it’s the left hand side or centrally and he played really well today and you know you can’t question Maguire’s mentality um obviously his injury record and his age uh and even his wage are something you might question whether you’d want to keep him beyond the summer but maybe you keep him for one more year I don’t know I thought he’s very good today Martinez again seven isn’t it great to give all three center backs a seven I thought they were all very differently brilliant in their own way against a you know a good side but especially Martinez is passing it was so good and um yeah I thought he was shaky against Forest last week uh and people quite rightly questioned him but I thought he was fantastic today I thought all three of the center backs were fantastic um mrai probably a 6.5 for me uh um yeah I I don’t I don’t I still yeah I mean look I’m happy to give him a seven actually but I don’t think he was as good as he has been the reason I would say it is I think he’s tired I think he was tired today um but it was his run that got Rasmus to playing um Bruno so look he wasn’t probably a seven is about right but I I did think he looked a bit leggy today and so did ammad in the first half so um and obviously Rasmus and de deit tired as well um yeah he’s a seven for me you could even go 7.5 with a GTE that was such a good performance from him I mean I like the fact that I’ve gone lower than everyone else because that means you’re appreciating him at last I thought he was brilliant today absolutely brilliant I mean I’d be happy to go 7.5 I thought his energy was boundless his tackling was superb um he was the best midfielder on the pitch that had people like Bruno Mayu gundan kovic Silva de bruyne he was the best midfielder on the pitch absolutely the best field on the pitch he was brilliant I liked the signing I demanded patience some people wanted to give him nicknames and go in on him I hope they’re now appreciating him because they look like prize [ __ ] uh Bruno look I thought Bruno first half was brilliant disciplined passing superb second half the old Bruno came out you know wasteful too much too soon then that was epitomized by the one-on-one then he steps up and scores a high press penalty so I’m happy to give Bruno uh 6.5 today um I think it was a tale of two halves But ultimately people say we can’t have Bruno we can’t have Bruno people need to learn we need Bruno we saw it when he came off against Forest we need Bruno we need Bruno he might not be the perfect Captain but he’s the only captain at the moment so I think he’s so important to us uh five for Delo um or whatever I gave an Anna I’d give I’d give an Ana and delo the same score 5.5 let’s give him 5.5 um I can’t do FES so I’d give an aror and Delow 5.5 I thought there was slightly below average um it’s a bit of a look I think amarim likes Delo and we’ve got to get the real Delo back but for some reason at the moment he’s just not quite there and in the second half I think that with Walker on a on a yellow card could have got at him a little bit more we got plenty of the ball to Delow plenty of the ball but we just got to be patient because I think am rates him I like doow he’s just a little bit below the Delow we know so yeah uh Ahmad uh man of the match uh 8.5 easy um and we’ve spoken about him so much but um yeah just just a fantastic performance from Ahmad match winner and and this is the thing you know it’s a message to these flare players is that perseverance and concentration is so important because I think there were times in the game today where ammed was wasteful in the first half but you keep them on the pitch because the mentality changed the same the work rate stays the same and this is this is a lesson to everybody stay in the [ __ ] game you know a bad first half doesn’t mean you’re going to have a bad second half a bad Monday morning doesn’t mean you’re going to have a bad Monday afternoon you know it it does you know a bad starter doesn’t mean you’re not going to have a good main meal it’s it’s staying in the game it’s mentality and I love that I appreciate that people won’t play well every minute of every game they won’t but stay in the game mentally stay in the game and Ahmad wasn’t bad in the first half he just could have been a little bit better and then towards the end of the game the mentality stays the same he stays in the game and he wins the game he wins the penalty he wins the go gets the winner this is what it’s all about this is elite football you know just because you’re having things aren’t going your way stay in the [ __ ] game the biggest defeater is your mentality and I’m I doesn’t let it get to him he keeps going he keeps going he keeps going keeps working fantastic man of the match um do you want me do you want the truth um yeah I mean that score is because it’s three injuries this season it’s four last year it’s a dead end it’s a dead end you know we’re going to be ruthless with gacha and and rashford we’ve got to be ruthless with sha and mount there’s just no point look at how we’ve won that game today staying in it till the mid 20s and he can’t stay fit it’s it’s really sad but you know uh Rasmus for me i’ probably give him six um it’s a fair score of six his work rate his holdup play was absolutely fantastic and he was really physical but there was scraps there was nothing I don’t think he had a shot in the whole game so realistically it was six but you know what it would have would have been a brilliant assist to Bruno and Bruno should have scored and I thought the work rate was really good so I’d give him a six yeah sub six for me all three nothing wrong with any of them obviously Mayu was on a bit longer i’ probably give him a 6.5 um I I think I think mayu’s got Gears to go through but probably looks a little bit off the pace at the moment but that will have done him the worlder good and um I think he grew into the game and technically so so good uh xerx a six and I mean look I’m tempted I’m really tempted to give a 10 but we’ll Reserve that for when we win the league nine nine you know why I’m going to give him a nine because we played well possession chances moments substitutions and let’s not forget Mason Mount gets injured in the first 10 minutes that’s massively disruptive get leaves out gacho and rashford doesn’t even put them on the bench balls of steel that is a manager that is a performance it’s how you pick your team it’s how you deal with issues bad luck leaving people out I I’ve never seen that I mean there is no way rashford and gacho wouldn’t be on the bench no way so whatever’s gone on he has took a hard line and I nearly gave him a 10 but because I just think it’s been overdue that we have a manager that starts making these sort of calls we’re Manchester United respect the [ __ ] badge we should never have been a club that was allowed to be dictated to by players and agents and you know you saw what Mino riola was like when with Paul Pogba giving interviews undermining the club and the manager this never should have been allowed to happen and it’s been going on for too long and other players have seen that and they’ve done it with their agents as well I’m telling you now that team that got leaked last night I think that’s a brief from an agency to the Manchester Evening News because they’re pissed off about something now I don’t know who that agency is and I don’t know what they’re pissed off about but that to me looks like sabotage planned sabotage where they’ve got in contact and said that’s the entire team and we know it’s the entire team because this this and this and you know you go and do something with it and United need to look at that you know personally whoever’s behind that it just feels like a PR you know PR submission to cause man united problems s figure that one out for yourself but the journalist who put that team out for me and that outlet they’re not man united fans they’re not man united fans that’s not in Manchester United’s interest that that Squad that team goes out the night before a game like this it’s it’s massively massively compromising and when I saw pep guardiola’s team with three Defenders and all those attackers he’s done that because he knows our back five is all Defenders so yeah to you know and that’s another thing that AMS had to deal with so a nine for me easily a nine absolutely no no doubt about it uh who was your man of the match well smash a like on the video if it’s not Ahmad
