hello everybody Welcome to the United stands Manchester United for Everton nil an absolute trouncing for Shawn D’s men as Manchester United move into the top half of the Premier League for the first time in what like feels like a decade and amarim starts to show us that progress which is so important amazing Amad get your player ratings in Mark every player out of 10 six being the average but two performances from Manchester United and this is what we need to do just put push these sides of hopefully hopefully we can progress into a team that starts to have these types of results I mean look Chelsea have just done it to Villa 3-0 at home winning games at home putting teams aside not turning it into an affair making it quite straightforward substitutions Bruno coming off early game on Wednesday didn’t need to use Rasmus hardly use Mount and gaco everything today if you’re amarim would just be tick tick tick even players that you’re thinking are they part of my future go and have a little bit of a boost people like rashford Etc so everything really positive from an Amarin point of view but before we get into all that I think it’s really important to always add context a lot of people will just get excited that’s just the way way of the world they’ll get excited they’ll start thinking about top four they’ll start thinking about a title Run next year they’ll start thinking about beating Arsenal on Wednesday and the bottom line is we I think we shouldn’t be running away with that people got every right to do what they want but I think this time last week when we drew Spurs in the cup maybe we’re going to lose three of our next six because we’ve got some difficult games coming up that doesn’t mean am’s a failure it doesn’t mean that we won’t become a good side but on the other hand I don’t think beating Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford means we’re back I don’t think certain players scoring means they’re back I just think it means that we’re improving and we’re progressing and that’s patience two PS progress and patience if we lose to Arsenal on Wednesday night you won’t catch me going ow first signs of the wheels coming off if we lose to Arsenal on good set piece one nil and then from that point we built on it I mean Everton can’t score goals so as soon as you got a goal you feel quite confident but to take it from one to four really really good but I think that the story of the game for me and this is why if you’re down at the Christmas Market or you know you’re at work or something you probably you probably put it on and you go uh 4-0 ciry and and rashford get two goals one of them is going to be man of the match and and and I can understand why you’d think that absolutely Ely not for me nowhere near for me I mean this is why football has evolved so much in the way that people watch it because even if you get two goals it doesn’t mean you’re man of the match there was one player on that pitch today and there was a lot of good players but there was one player on that pitch today who was just on a different level amazing ammad absolutely Flawless performance and I think he could play behind the striker I think he could play where rashford and Bruno play and I think he’d be bril brilliant there but we don’t have a wide player that can do what amarim did at sporting his wide players were Wingers who worked back ahmad’s the only one who can do it which is why we’re going to use fullbacks there but he is just so good like three goals are because of him the the first obviously the first goal where he closes in on branth weight gives it to Bruno squares it to xery the second goal he starts in his own half battle his way through times a lovely pass to rashford and in that situation I don’t care whether you love rashford or you think he’s [ __ ] he’s not going to miss from there like it’s it’s it’s a it’s a training round goal he’s running through he’s six yards out he’s going to score and then the third goal the fourth goal but his third assist again just lays it into xery perfect weight of pass um I just thought Ahmad was perfect today perfect and and the fact that his goal contributions were so varied but came from hard work and pressing I mean we saw it on um we saw it on Thursday night with Rasmus pressing the goalkeeper forcing the mistake G gacho scores we’ve seen ammad do that twice today if we can get a couple more players doing that that’s proper pressing Rasmus did it on Thursday ammad did it today you want all of your front four players doing that and it and it leads to goals and this is why when we’ve been talking about we’re not a very good pressing team some people think pressing is just look at how quick he’s running pressing isn’t about running it’s about pressing it’s about putting a Defender Under Pressure pressure pressing it’s not running and that’s what Ahmad and Rasmus did on Thursday really well forcing the mistake with the way that you press it’s not just running and I think Amad today was brilliant and I think the fact that football is changing is for the better is that as I said 30 years ago man of the match would probably be rashford because he’s English over xery who’s got two goals because that’s just how crap pund tree was whereas today only only a Pratt’s not going to give it to Ahmad who didn’t watch the game it was just nobody got nobody nobody got close to his performance today and rashford played well xery played well mazra played well Bruno played well delit played well anara played well but nobody got close to Ahmad today it was such a goals why would Rasmus not score start he scored two goals on Thursday so those three are all in with a shout of starting but you can’t start all three Ahmad will start on the right Bruno will play casemiro and agart will play Mason Mount played well so competition for places is just so interesting and uh I think that this is what you want and and maybe who who who plays then against Forest on the following Saturday I think that we’ve always wanted this scenario where we’ve got competition for places I think being able to predict your starting 11 because the rest of the team is [ __ ] is never a good thing you want competition for places you see that at Man City you see it at Liverpool um we need that we need to see that competition for places 100% um it was nice to see us keep the performance it gets a nine because it was a 90 minute performance absolutely brilliant uh casemiro 6 for me uh probably I don’t want to use the word worst but he was the player that if I had to you know kick somebody out the Big Brother house it would be him I think it was just a some good some bad average from casemiro for me uh Mayu probably 6.5 for me I’m not surprised people gave him a bit of a low score um but for a first game back after injury I think he had a lot to do because of casmiro uh it’s a shame he got that yellow card but I’m looking forward to at some point seeing Mayu and agarte next to each other but I was happy to have Mayu back and I thought it was better than average um the low six for me again uh I don’t know whether it’s just the left side or what but I um um I tried to watch theow today and give him because I like him I tried to give him like you know is he as good as mazra and deit is he a 6.5 I tried to push it up but to be honest I think it was just a six it was quite a an average the low performance so yeah I would give that natural Hazard says rashy should get 9.5 and man of the match I’m sure some people will vote for him uh seven for me for rashford um it was better than average 100% I thought the technique on the first goal was very good I thought the technique on the Finish was very good I thought the technique on the IP switch goal last week was very good I think if you give him chances in the Box nine times out of 10 he’s got very good technique um beyond that I thought it was okay I thought it was an okay performance beyond the goals but when you score two goals you’ve got to give somebody some credit and hopefully he can build upon that and I said before the game a lot of people were moaning but the only way he gets in this team is in that position so all he can do is do do what he’s done today and he’s got to build on that the competition where he’s playing is massive you’ve got Bruno you’ve got Mount you’ve got gacho you’ve got maybe xery so there’s four players going after that position he can’t play up front I don’t think he’s a striker he can’t play where ammad plays he hasn’t got the work rate so he’s got to play in that position um and I don’t think he can do much more today based on the form he’s been in recently he’s just got a build on that so I wouldn’t I’d give it a seven and I would hope that he builds on that and gets better and better because the confidence was flowing I mean if anything he was probably a little bit too selfish in the second half going for the hattick so the confidence was back hopefully he can build upon that uh Bruno for me today uh uh seven yeah seven for me nearly look you could give rashford a 7.5 you could give Bruno a 7.5 I’d probably give them both the same um Bruno came off quite early as well so Bruno was only on for 60 minutes but I think the technique on the corner was brilliant um and obviously got another assist as well more disciplined um less chaos less Hollywood pass better from Bruno and again what I would say about Bruno is I just want him to build on that I don’t want to overhype it and say he’s back can we build can we get that every week can we get that every week from rashford can we get that every week from Bruno and then occasionally can we get an8 and nine these are what we should get every week I don’t want to overhype it it’s 300 Grand a week it’s 300 Grand a week I’m not going to give him an eight I’m going to give him a seven because that’s what we should get every week and then occasionally we should get eights and nines so I think sevens very good performances can we build on it xery for me 7.5 because he’s a new player he’s a new player and I think that he deserves a little bit more so I thought xery today took his goals well really good touch good linkup play offers us something a bit different and also I think he’s been given so much [ __ ] unfairly that he deserves a bit of a a glow up today so so I’d give him a 7.5 some of you would give him an eight I look look maybe to be fair I think some people would give armad a 10 some people would give Bruno and um rashford an eight and they’d give um xery a nine so look it’s all for everyone else uh Maguire was a six I mean obviously he lost kelv Leen probably should have scored but it’s his first game back give him some credit Luke Shaw probably a six as well when he came on same for agarte and same for gacho Mason Mount belly noticed and then Ruben amarim I mean today it’s got to be an eight for me um on one hand half an hour I thought it was very equal game on the other hand Everton wouldn’t score if he played till Christmas but clean sheet four goals substitutions were really good um the substitutions were fantastic by the way to get the players he got off he almost gave people a rest Bruno and kameiro came off so early that they’ll be fine for Wednesday um so did delit um so did Maz Ri so we got four key players off early he gave Rasmus a complete break agarte gacho Shaw barely played but just a few more minutes his substitutions were perfect a 4-nil clean sheets you can’t argue with it just absolutely everything went our way with that so really really good uh when the striker gets supplied who was our man of the match well look we’ve already got four 5,000 likes on this so um like the video If you think it should be Amad 87% not even close uh you want to know the selected others so 87% for Ahmad in second place was xery with 3% and then there’s a few players on 2% Anana rashford Bruno and mazra
